Tais par?metros extrapolam apenas uma ?rea do conhecimento, e para obter o ?xito, se faz necess?rio trazer ? esta tem?tica conhecimentos multidisciplinares, utilizando de conceitos da qu?mica, f?sica, mec?nica e tribologia. Nessa tese, foram estudados os efeitos de diferentes par?metros de processamento citados pela literatura que podem causar melhorias na atua??o antidesgaste de nanopart?culas em ?leos lubrificantes, desde o tamanho, a concentra??o, a dispers?o, o agente de modifica??o de superf?cie da part?cula, o agente dispersante e a rugosidade dos corpos em contato atrav?s de um conjunto de t?cnicas discutidas ao decorrer do trabalho. Os resultados mostraram que a maior pot?ncia (495 W) utilizada durante a s?ntese de nanopart?culas em micro-ondas resultou em menor tamanho de part?cula e melhor dispers?o no ?leo, mas a forma da nanopart?cula n?o foi influenciada. A utiliza??o de ?cido oleico, como agente de recobrimento, e tolueno, como dispersante, melhorou a dispers?o das nanopart?culas no ?leo. Foi identificada uma faixa de rugosidade na qual as nanopart?culas se depositaram nos sulcos da superf?cie e atuam positivamente na redu??o do coeficiente de atrito. Por outro lado, nas condi??es de baixa e alta rugosidade, o atrito e o desgaste s?o potencializados. A a??o antidesgaste foi melhorada nos n?veis mais baixos de concentra??o de NNP no ?leo lubrificante (0,1%) n?o apenas em estado estacion?rio, mas tamb?m nas etapas de running-in. Nessa tese, ap?s a manipula??o de diversos par?metros de processamento, foram preenchidas lacunas deixadas na literatura em rela??o aos mecanismos de atua??o das nanopart?culas quando aditivadas em ?leos lubrificantes e foi poss?vel alcan?ar uma condi??o na qual as nanopart?culas se equiparam aos resultados exibidos com um aditivo comumente usado (ZDDP) . / The challenge of nanotechnology applied in automotive lubrication is in control and manipulation of processing parameters to make possible the application of nanoparticles as additives in lubricants. These parameters flee just one area of knowledge, but that, for the success, it is necessary to bring to this theme multidisciplinary knowledge, making use of concepts from chemistry, physics, mechanics and tribology. In this thesis, were studied the effect of the different processing parameters mentioned in the literature that may cause improvement in antiwear performance of nanoparticles in lubricating oils since the size, concentration, dispersion, surface modifying agent particle, dispersing and surface roughness of the bodies in contact through a range of techniques discussed in the course of work. The results showed that the highest power used (495 W) during the synthesis of nanoparticles in a microwave results in smaller particle size and better dispersion in oil. However, the shape of the nanoparticle was not influenced. The use of oleic acid as coating agent and toluene as the dispersant improved dispersion of the nanoparticles in oil. A smoothness range has been identified in which the nanoparticles were deposited on the surface grooves and had a positive effect in reducing friction, but in the conditions of high and low surface roughness, friction and wear are enhanced. The anti-wear action has been improved at the lowest levels of NNP concentration in the lubricating oil (0,1%) not only steady state but also in the running-in too. In this thesis, after manipulation of several processing parameters, some gaps left in the literature were filled regarding the action of nanoparticles mechanisms when additives in lubricating oils. And it was possible to achieve a condition in which the nanoparticles match the results displayed with a commonly used additive (ZDDP).

O delineamento adotado foi inteiramente casualizado, com parcelas subdivididas no tempo em esquema 4 ? 3 ? 5. A dieta experimental foi formulada para atender ?s exig?ncias dos animais e as doses de ?leos essenciais testadas foram de 0; 1,5; 3,0 e 4,5 gramas por animal ao dia. O experimento teve dura??o de 60 dias e foi divido em tr?s per?odos de 20 dias cada, com as coletas de alimentos, sobras, fezes e leite realizadas nos ?ltimos tr?s dias para posterior an?lise e c?lculos. A an?lise de vari?ncia foi realizada para todas as vari?veis usando modelo linear e, quando os efeitos foram significativos (P<0,05), o teste t-Student foi aplicado para discriminar as m?dias de quadrados m?nimos e quando n?o significativos, foi realizada uma an?lise descritiva. As correla??es existentes entre as medidas tomadas no mesmo animal e a produ??o antes do in?cio do experimento foi usada como covari?vel para verificar se a produ??o pr?via influenciou o resultado. Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Zootecnia, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2013. / ABSTRACT Aimed to evaluate the effects of a commercial mixture of essential oils (capsaicin, eugenol, cinnamaldehyde and carvacrol) microencapsulated with increasing inclusion on intake, digestibility, performance and milk composition of primiparous Holstein cows 20.The design was completely randomized split plot with a 4 ? 3 ? 5 layout. The experimental diet was formulated to meet the requirements of the animals and the doses of essential oils tested were 0, 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 grams per animal per day. The experiment lasted 60 days and was divided into three periods of 20 days each, with the collection of food scraps, feces and milk made in the last three days for further analysis and calculations. Analysis of variance was performed for all variables using linear model and when effects were significant (P <0.05), Student's T test was used to discriminate the least square means and when not significant, a descriptive analysis was performed.The correlations between the measures taken in the same animal and production before the start of the experiment was used as a covariate to determine whether the prior production influenced the outcome.There was no interaction between treatment and observation periods and the effect of the treatments was not significant (P> 0.05) for the variable intake, digestibility, performance and milk composition. But, evaluating separately tested periods, showed a significant decrease (P <0.05) on milk production and increased concentrations of total solids (TS).There was no difference (P> 0.05) to the levels of total solids and somatic cell count.It was concluded that the compound of essential oils had no interaction with the periods studied and the levels used did not influence variables intake, digestibility, milk production and composition of primiparous Holstein cows, indicating the need for further studies on the subject.

De acordo com os resultados obtidos em an?lises laboratoriais, pode ser constatada, a qualidade aceit?vel do pescado conforme os par?metros existentes nas normas e regulamenta??es vigentes, n?o obtendo deteriora??o significativa decorrente da m? manipula??o e conserva??o inadequada do mesmo. / The artisan fishing activity, which involves historical - cultural, environmental, social, political, economi c, among other factors, presents, nowadays, as an important source of income, creating jobs and food, contributing to the permanence of man in their own birthplace. However, the fish, considered one of the most perishable foods, requires a proper handling and conservation, from capture to its availability in the market, in order to slow the deterioration process. Thereby, this dissertation aims to study the effect of the manipulation practices on fish quality, from capture to its landing on the beach, resul ting from fisherman?s activity from Ponta Negra - Natal/RN. It also presents the purpose of analyzing the quality of the fish and propose recommendations for their proper handling and possible solutions to add value to the product, through the improvement of the quality and good handling practices. For this purpose, the methodology used was based on ergonomic analysis of their work through observational techniques and interactional with the focus group, the jangadeiros, to understand their activity and eval uated the freshness and quality of the fish by sensory analysis, and microbiological parameters and physicochemical from existing legislation Ordinance No. 185 of May 13, 1997 and RIISPOA - amended on December 1, 2007 and RDC No. 12, dated January 2, 2001. According to the results obtained in laboratory tests, it can be established, the acceptable quality of fish as the existing rules and regulations parameters , not getting significant deterioration caused by poor handling and improper storage of fish.

For this, a descriptive-exploratory study of seventeen pharmacies of manipulations from Rio Grande do Norte was undertaken with the objective to be able to create a base structure model to classify enterprises according to their data bases. Therefore, statistical methods such as cluster and discriminant analyses were used applied to a questionnaire built for this specific study. Um ambiente virtual colaborativo (AVC) ? um tipo de AV que permite que dois ou mais usu?rios estejam juntos no mesmo ambiente virtual. Ambientes virtuais colaborativos t?m algumas dificuldades que AV comuns n?o t?m. Por exemplo, diferentes t?cnicas s?o necess?rias a fim de permitir a dois usu?rios a manipula??o (mover ou girar) conjunta de um objeto virtual. Algumas dessas t?cnicas podem levar os usu?rios a realizarem movimentos n?o naturais. Este trabalho avalia o retorno h?ptico para deixar os usu?rios cientes de movimentos errados durante a manipula??o colaborativa de objetos. A t?cnica SkeweR foi utilizada como teste. Esta t?cnica ? baseada em crushing points, onde os usu?rios pegam o objeto pela primeira vez para simultaneamente mover e girar o objeto. Uma vez que os usu?rios mant?m a posi??o da m?o sobre o crushing point durante a manipula??o do objeto, a intera??o se torna mais natural, no sentido de que se torna mais similar ao processo real de segurar um objeto. Entretanto, devido ? falta de restri??es f?sicas de movimento, frequentemente, durante a intera??o, a m?o do usu?rio se move para fora do crushing point. Para solucionar este problema, este trabalho prop?e o uso de retorno t?til para informar os usu?rios sobre a dist?ncia entre a posi??o da m?o e o crushing point. O retorno t?til ? fornecido por um minimotor de vibra??o preso no polegar do usu?rio. Para validar o m?todo, fez-se um estudo com usu?rios em que estes deveriam realizar a manipula??o 3D de um objeto virtual. Este objeto precisava ser transladado e girado atrav?s de um caminho virtual ao longo de um fio virtual, do in?cio deste at? o fim. Durante a intera??o, os usu?rios manipularam um rastreador de posi??o com tr?s graus de liberdade (3DOF) e deveriam manter a posi??o do rastreador na mesma posi??o do crushing point. Durante as rodadas do experimento, os participantes testaram tr?s modalidades de intera??o: sem nenhum retorno, com retorno visual e com retorno t?til. O resultado dos testes mostrou que usu?rios realizaram manipula??es mais naturais quando estavam usando o retorno t?til. / Virtual reality is a technology that allows users to view and interact with a 3D virtual environment (VE) in real time. A collaborative virtual environment (CVE) is a type of VE that allows two or more users to be in the same virtual environment together. Collaborative virtual environments have some issues that simple VEs do not have. For example, different techniques are required in order to allow two users to manipulate (move or rotate) a virtual object together. Some of these techniques can lead users to do unnatural movements. This study evaluates haptic feedback to let users aware of wrong movements during a cooperative object manipulation. The SkeweR technique was used as a testbed. This technique is based on the use of crushing points, where the users grab the object for the first time, to simultaneously move/rotate an object. Once the users have their hands positioned on the crushing point during the object manipulation, the interaction becomes more natural, in the sense that it is more similar to the real process. However, due to the lack of any physical constraint to the users? movements, it is often noticed that the users? hands move away from the crushing point during the interaction. To solve this problem, this work proposes the usage of tactile feedback to inform the user about the distance between his hand and the crushing point. The tactile feedback is provided by a vibration micromotor attached to the user?s thumb. To validate the method, a user study based on the 3D manipulation of a virtual object was performed. The virtual object had to be translated and rotated through a virtual path along a virtual wire, from the beginning to the end of it. During the interaction, users manipulated a three degrees of freedom (3DOF) position tracker and were requested to keep this tracker in the same position of the crushing point. During the trials, the participants used three modalities of interaction: without any feedback, with a visual feedback and with tactile feedback. Results showed that the users do more natural manipulations when using tactile feedback.

The current study aims to analyze the work activity raftsmen of Ponta Negra beach in Natal, focusing on handling and quality of the fish sold by them to propose through the social construction recommendations for improving its product. To achieve this purpose was used a methodology inspired by the ergonomic work analysis using techniques observational and interactional. He was also made an assessment of fish sold by jangadeiros Ponta Negra, this evaluation was a sensory evaluation using the method "Torry Research" adapted by Vieira (2004) in order to assess the level of quality fish. In general it was observed that the fish originated from the fishing that rafts in Ponta Negra, have a good degree of freshness. But it was found that some ways of handling and storage can be improved / Os jangadeiros em sua atividade de trabalho est?o expostos a constantes e diversas variabilidades, as quais s?o extremamente importantes de se conhecer, a fim de compreender essa atividade e os riscos aos quais est?o expostos. One of these approaches is that the persistence, the abundance and the diversity of natural enemies that act in the insect-pest biological control are stimulated. In Brazil, despite of informal reports, such as personal communication, little has been recorded about the effects of intercropped systems in populations of insect pests and natural enemies. In this context, the present study has as objectives to determine the diversity and the community structure of the ladybirds (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) associated with aphids in kale cultivated intercropped with coriander, and to evaluate the potential of coriander to provide the vital resources for survivor and reproduction of ladybirds, as well as evaluate the crop performance of this intercropped system, in agroecologically-based organic production system. The study was conducted in two consecutive years (2006 and 2007) in the experimental farm of integrated crop-livestock production called of Sistema Integrado de Produ??o Agroecol?gica (SIPA) or Fazendinha Agroecol?gica km 47, localized in the municipality of Seropedica, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where the experiments were carried out and involved the intercropped system of kale (Brassica oleraceae var. acephala D.C.) with coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) in relation to kale in the monocrop system, in order to determine the diversity of ladybirds by collection of specimens through removal sampling and yellow sticky cards, as well as characterize the structure of their community by the faunistic analysis. The performance of intercropped system was also evaluated, determining the crop parameters of associated crops. A total of 25 ladybird species are present in the SIPA, but Hyperaspis (Hyperaspis) festiva Mulsant, Scymnus (Pullus) sp.3, Cycloneda sanguinea (L.) and Eriopis connexa Germar were more frequent species. There was no infestation by aphids in kale intercropped with coriander, which was used by the ladybirds as food site (resource of pollen, nectar and alternatives preys), oviposition site, refuge for larvae, pupae and adults, and mating site. As for the cropping parameters, the Land Equivalent Ratio (LER) for the intercropped system of kale with coriander, taking into account the fresh mass yield, were superior in 92% (coriander harvested with 55 days after the sowing) and 85% (coriander allowed for flowering) in relation to monocrop system. The intercropped system of kale with coriander in the arrangement of one row of kale and four paralleled rows of coriander, harvesting the two central rows at 55 days after sowing and allowed the two rows in the border of the seedbed for flowering, do not cause increases of kale yield, but was effective in respect to land effective use and as strategy of ladybirds conservation in diversified production systems. / As abordagens agroecol?gicas de produ??o org?nica vegetal pressup?em o desenho das unidades de produ??o mais diversificado, no tempo e no espa?o, onde se inclui os cons?rcios de culturas, tamb?m conhecidos como policultivos. Um dos princ?pios dessa abordagem ? que atrav?s da diversifica??o dos cultivos, estimula-se a persist?ncia, a abund?ncia e a diversidade de inimigos naturais que atuam no controle biol?gico de insetos-pragas. No Brasil, apesar dos relatos informais, do tipo comunica??o pessoal, pouco tem sido registrado a respeito dos efeitos dos policultivos nas popula??es de insetos-pragas e inimigos naturais. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo teve por objetivos determinar a diversidade e a estrutura da comunidade de joaninhas predadoras (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) associados a pulg?es em couve, cultivada em cons?rcio com coentro, al?m de avaliar o potencial do coentro como provedor de recursos vitais para sobreviv?ncia e reprodu??o das joaninhas, assim como o desempenho fitot?cnico desse cons?rcio, em sistema de produ??o org?nica conduzido em bases agroecol?gicas. O estudo foi realizado em dois anos consecutivos (2006 e 2007) na unidade experimental de produ??o integrada lavoura-pecu?ria denominada de Sistema Integrado de Produ??o Agroecol?gica (SIPA) ou Fazendinha Agroecol?gica km 47, localizada em Serop?dica (RJ), realizando experimentos que envolveram o cons?rcio couve (Brassica oleraceae var. acephala D.C.) com coentro (Coriandrum sativum L.) em compara??o com o monocultivo de couve, para determinar a diversidade de joaninhas por meio da coleta de indiv?duos atrav?s amostragens por remo??o e placas amarelas adesivas, bem como caracterizar a estrutura de sua comunidade por meio da an?lise faun?stica. O desempenho do cons?rcio foi tamb?m avaliado, determindo os par?metros fitot?cnicos das culturas associadas. Um total de 25 esp?cies de joaninhas est? presente no SIPA, mas Hyperaspis (Hyperaspis) festiva Mulsant, Scymnus (Pullus) sp.3, Cycloneda sanguinea (L.) e Eriopis connexa Germar foram as esp?cies mais frequentes na comunidade. N?o houve infesta??o por pulg?es na couve consorciada com coentro, o qual foi usado pelas joaninhas como s?tio de alimenta??o (fonte de p?len, n?ctar e presas alternativas), s?tio de oviposi??o, abrigo para larvas, pupas e adultos, al?m de s?tio de acasalamento. Quanto aos par?metros fitot?cnicos, o ?ndice de equival?ncia de ?rea (IEA) para os cons?rcios couve e coentro, considerando as produtividades de massa fresca, foram superiores em 92% (coentro colhido aos 55 dias ap?s a semeadura) e 85% (coentro deixado para florescer) em rela??o aos cultivos solteiros. O cons?rcio couve-coentro no arranjo de uma linha central de couve e quatro linhas paralelas de coentro, colhendo-se as duas centrais aos 55 dias ap?s a semeadura e deixando as duas linhas na borda do canteiro para florescer, n?o causa aumentos de produtividade da couve, mas mostra-se eficiente em termo do uso eficiente da terra e como estrat?gia de conserva??o de joaninhas nos sistemas de produ??o diversificados.

In this context, the use of mobile devices can represent a beneficial time for reflections on the creation of favorable environments for mathematical learning. Particularly the touchscreen devices can contribute to the formation of a new learning space. This research aimed to design, implement and analyze isometries activities using tablet on an ongoing teachers training - in Normal Mode - in Middle Level. The research with characteristics of Design was guided by the following questions: i) how are the touchscreen performances in the resolution of the proposed tasks?; and ii) how do the students handle doing rotations in GeoGebra touch and in Geometric Constructer? As data collection instruments were used (a) researcher records, (b) students' records for the proposed activities, (c) icons sheet, (d) recording audio and video, and (e) recording of touches made in tablet screen using Screen Recorder Pro. The study field was conducted with 10 students of the 1st year in a public school in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. Besides theoretical reflections we conducted the analysis of episodes that emerged from implementations with GeoGebra touch and Geometric Constructer. By a survey with characteristics of Design and marked theoretical referential in vigotskianas conceptions, we conducted theoretical reflections about the gestures and touchscreen manipulation and we illustrate the analysis of interactions that emerged from implementations with GeoGebra touch and Geometric Constructer. The results indicate that the use of tablets, linked to the development of tasks considering the specificities of the software contributes to the construction of mathematical concepts and cognitive development. The analysis also revealed that touchscreen manipulation contributed to perform rotations using two or three fingers and performances that refer to the composition of isometric transformations, providing the (re)construction of meanings. / O cont?nuo e acentuado desenvolvimento das tecnologias digitais tem propiciado situa??es desafiadoras no ?mbito educacional. Nesse ?mbito, o uso de aparatos m?veis pode representar um momento prof?cuo para reflex?es sobre a cria??o de ambientes favor?veis ao aprendizado matem?tico. Particularmente, os dispositivos touchscreen podem contribuir para a constitui??o de um novo espa?o de aprendizagem. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivos elaborar, implementar e analisar atividades de isometrias, utilizando tablet, em um curso de forma??o de professores - na Modalidade Normal - em N?vel M?dio. Avalia??o das condi??es higi?nico-sanit?rias de manipuladores de alimentos e utens?lios de mesa de escolas p?blicas municipais de Natal, RN

This food must be nutritious, hygienic and sanitary. The aim of the present study was to assess the hygienic/sanitary conditions of food and table utensil handlers in municipal public schools in Natal, Brazil. In total, 27 public schools were assessed, using a checklist and microbiological analysis of the hands and table utensils. For the microbiological analyses of the hands, coliforms were analyzed at 45?C and for the utensils aerobic mesophilic bacteria, using methods recognized by AOAC, 2002 and APHA, 1992, respectively. Most of the schools studied did not exhibit good food and utensil handling practice procedures in any of the variables analyzed. It was shown that 74.1% of the handlers received no periodic training, 51.9% did not undergo annual health examinations and 100% did not practice proper hand hygiene, which reflected significantly (p < 0.05) in hand contamination, where fecal coliforms were detected on 55.6% of the hands analyzed. With respect to the utensils, it was found that 100% of the schools studied did not follow correct hygiene practices and most were classified as very bad ; that is, aerobic mesophilic bacteria values above the limits established by PAHO (Pan American Health Organization), with schools in the north and south districts recording the highest percentages. The results show that the hygienic-sanitary conditions of the food and utensil handlers in the schools studied were inadequate, demonstrating the need for implanting good handling practices aimed at protecting the health of children that take part in the program and offering safer foods. Researchers from the areas of food microbiology, nutrition, public health and statistics participated in this study, a decisive factor for characterizing it as multidisciplinary / No Brasil a alimenta??o escolar ? um direito constitucional dos alunos de escolas p?blicas que freq?entam a pr?-escola e ensino fundamental, devendo essa alimenta??o ser de boa qualidade em valores nutricionais e principalmente no aspecto higi?nico sanit?rio. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar as condi??es higi?nico-sanit?rias de manipuladores de alimentos e utens?lios de mesa de escolas p?blicas municipais na cidade de Natal/RN, no qual foram avaliadas 27 escolas p?blicas, utilizando um check-list e an?lise microbiol?gica das m?os e utens?lios de mesa. Para as an?lises microbiol?gicas das m?os de manipuladores, foram analisados coliformes ? 45?C e para os utens?lios bact?rias mes?filas aer?bias, atrav?s dos m?todos preconizados pela AOAC,2002 e APHA, 1992, respectivamente. A maioria das escolas estudadas apresentou n?o conformidades em todas as vari?veis analisadas. Protocols used in biotechnological cultured aquatic organisms aimed at increasing growth rates and disease resistance, have been studied and perfected. Among the available techniques, the application of chromosomal manipulation, although still nascent, is presented as a tool aimed at mitigating ecological and economical issues in shrimp farming. The polyploidization artificial method already employed in fish and shellfish, has been widely researched for use in farmed shrimp. Some limitations of this method of expansion in shrimp refer to a better knowledge of cytogenetic aspects, the level of sexual dimorphism and performance in growing conditions. To contribute on some of these issues, the present study aimed to characterize cytogenetic species Litopenaeus vannamei (Decapoda) and Artemia franciscana (Anostraca), analyze the effectiveness of methods for detection of ploidy, through the use of flow cytometry in processes of induction polyploidy cold thermal shock at different stages of development of newly fertilized eggs. Additionally, aimed also the qualitative and quantitative comparison of larval development between diploid and polyploid organisms, besides the identification of sexual dimorphism in L. vannamei, through geometric morphometrics. The results provide information relevant to the improvement and widespread use of biotechnological methods applied toward national productivity in shrimp farming / A melhoria gen?tica de planteis reprodutores, baseada no melhoramento cl?ssico tem sido tentada, mas sem resultados pr?ticos, at? o momento. Protocolos biotecnol?gicos utilizados em organismos aqu?ticos cultivados que visam aumentar as taxas de crescimento e resist?ncia a doen?as, v?m sendo estudados e aperfei?oados. Entre as t?cnicas dispon?veis, a aplica??o de manipula??o cromoss?mica, embora ainda incipiente, se apresenta como ferramenta voltada a mitigar quest?es ecol?gicas e econ?micas na carcinicultura. A poliploidiza??o artificial, m?todo j? empregado em peixes e moluscos, vem sendo largamente pesquisado para o uso em camar?es cultivados.
