Ducke) is a native species of the Amazon region with high caffeine concentration and economic potential for Amazonas State. There are cultivars developed by Embrapa with resistance to pests and diseases, good adaptability and productivity. These cultivars and their interactions with soil microorganisms are important, especially in the seedling production process. The beneficial relationships between plant and microorganisms are related to the biosynthesis and supply of growth stimulator substances may result in shortening the cycle plant yatchery or increasing in productivity. Thus, this research has the objective to evaluate the potential of rhizobacteria promotors of growth on rooting of guarana plants. The experimental research was completely randomized block design with four repetitions in a 2x2 factorial + 2, where the factors are: two cultivars of guarana tree (BRS-Amazon and BRS-Maués), two rhizobacteria (Burkholderia ambifaria and Bacillus sp.) And more two witnesses, one for each cultivar. At 180 days after sowing, the seedlings were taken from the plastic bags, separating the root system of the plant canopy, and measured the length of roots, volume, shoot dry mass, height, number of leaves, leaf area and shoot dry mass, determined the carbohydrate content, proline and shoot nutrients. The rhizobacteria did not influence the growth of seedlings, however, the levels of carbohydrates and nutrients were higher when there was inoculation of rhizobacteria, and the bacterium Burkholderia ambifaria cultivar BRS the best results. Proline contents were higher in the control treatment of both cultivars. / O guaranazeiro (Paullinia cupana var. sorbilis (Mart.) Ducke) é uma espécie nativa da região amazônica com alta concentração de cafeína e potencial econômico para o Estado do Amazonas. Existem cultivares desenvolvidas pela Embrapa com resistência a pragas e doenças, boa adaptabilidade e produtividade. Estas cultivares e suas interações com micro- organismos do solo são importantes, principalmente no processo de produção de mudas. As relações benéficas entre planta e micro-organismos estão relacionadas com a biossíntese e fornecimento de substâncias estimuladoras do crescimento, podendo resultar em encurtamento do ciclo da planta em viveiro ou aumento na produtividade. Assim, esta pesquisa tem o objetivo de avaliar o potencial de rizobactérias promotoras de crescimento no enraizamento de mudas de guaranazeiro. O delineamento experimental foi de blocos inteiramente casualizados, com quatro repetições, em esquema fatorial 2x2+2, onde os fatores são: duas cultivares de guaranazeiro (BRS-Amazonas e BRS-Maués), duas rizobactérias (Burkholderia ambifaria e Bacillus sp.) e mais duas testemunhas, uma para cada cultivar. Aos 180 dias após a semeadura, as mudas foram retiradas dos sacos de polietileno, separando o sistema radicular da parte aérea da planta, sendo aferido o comprimento da parte radicular, volume, matéria seca da parte aérea, altura, número de folhas, área foliar e matéria seca da parte aérea, determinado o teor de carboidratos, prolina e nutrientes da parte aérea. As rizobactérias não influenciaram no crescimento das mudas, entretanto, os teores de carboidratos e nutrientes foram maiores quando houve a inoculação das rizobactérias, tendo a bactéria Burkholderia ambifaria na cultivar BRS Amazonas os melhores resultados. Os teores de prolina foram maiores no tratamento testemunha das duas cultivares.

However, its effects and pharmacological mechanisms of action have not been studied. The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of an ethanol extract of Aspidosperma subincanum Mart. (EEAS) on blood pressure (in vivo) and vascular tension (in vitro) in the rat thoracic aorta. Catheters were inserted into the right femoral vein and artery of anesthetized rats for EEAS infusion and the measurement of blood pressure, heart rate and aortic blood flow (flow probes were placed around the aorta). Moreover, the vasodilator effect of EEAS in isolated pre-contracted rat aortas was examined. Intravenous infusion of EEAS resulted in significant and dose-dependent hypotension, bradycardia and increased aortic blood flow. In isolated arteries, EEAS (0-27μg/mL) induced a concentration-dependent relaxation of pre-contracted aortic rings; endothelial denudation potentiated this effect. Pre-treatment of the aortic rings with ODQ, an inhibitor of soluble guanylyl cyclase (sGC); MDL-12,330A, an inhibitor of adenylyl cyclase (AC); or CPA, a SERCA inhibitor, reduced EEAS-induced vasorelaxation. Treatment with an EEAS impaired contractions induced by phenylephrine (an adrenergic agonist) and Bay K 8644 (an L-type Ca(2+) channel activator). The blockade of K(+) channels with tetraethylammonium, clotrimazole, glibenclamide or 4-aminopyridine reduced the relaxation stimulated by EEAS. These findings suggest that EEAS induces hypotension associated with bradycardia. EEAS induces endothelium-independent vascular relaxation. The sGC/cGMP and AC/cAMP pathways, SERCA activation and Ca(2+) and K(+) flux across the sarcolemma, are likely involved in this relaxation. / O Aspidosperma subincanum Mart. é uma planta medicinal que é conhecida por ser utilizada para o tratamento de doenças relacionadas com o sistema cardiovascular. No entanto, seus efeitos e mecanismos de ação farmacológicos não estão muito bem elucidados. O objetivo do presente estudo foi determinar o efeito do Extrato Etanólico do Aspidosperma Subincanum Mart. (EEAS) sobre a pressão arterial (in vivo) em ratos anestesiados e da pressão arterial (in vitro) em artéria aorta torácicas de ratos. Para a realização do protocolos experimentais foram inseridos cateteres na veia e artéria femural direita de ratos anestesiados para que pudesse ser realizada a infusão do EEAS e a verificação da pressão arterial, frequência cardíaca e fluxo sanguíneo aórtico; foram inseridas sondas de fluxo e posicionadas em torno da aorta. Além da pressão foi verificado o efeito vasodilatador do EEAS em anéis de aortas isoladas de ratos pré-contraídas com vasoconstritor. A infusão intravenosa do EEAS resultou em significativa hipotensão, bradicardia e aumento do fluxo aórtico dose-dependente. Em artérias isoladas, o EEAS (0-27μg/mL) induziu relaxamento concentração-dependente em anéis de aorta pré-contraídas com agonista contrátil; foi potencializado o relaxamento nos anéis de aorta sem endotélio. O pré-tratamento dos anéis isoladas de aorta com ODQ, um inibidor da guanilato clicase solúvel (sGC), MDL – 12,330A um inibidor da adenilato ciclase (AC) e CPA um inibidor da bomba do retículo sarcoplasmático, reduziram o vasorelaxamento induzido pelo EEAS. O EEAS foi capaz de diminuir o efeito ocasionado pelo tratamento com fenilefrina (um agonista adrenérgico) e Bay K 8644 (ativador dos canais de Calcio do tipo L) de forma concentração-dependente. O bloqueio dos canais de K+ com tetraetilamonio, clotrimazol, glibenclamida ou 4-aminopiridina reduziu o relaxamento estimulado pelo EEAS. Estes achados sugerem que o EEAS induz hipotensão associada à bradicardia e o relaxamento independente do endotélio vascular. As vias do cGMP/sGC e cAMP/AC foram ativadas e a SERCA e os canais de K+ possivelmente estão envolvidos neste relaxamento.

Private labels have been developing in Europe for a long time, but China is still in the primary stage. Compared with the developed countries, Chinese retail enterprises, especially supermarkets, have a lower level of their private label development. With the expansion of Chinese retail business, private labels have been adopted by more and more enterprises. However, the existing supermarkets’ private labels are not well known to Chinese consumers. The purpose of this study is to compare the different opinions regarding private labels from Chinese young consumers and Swedish young consumers towards RT-Mart and ICA respectively. Both the Chinese supermarket RT-Mart and the Swedish supermarket ICA have a large number of stores and quite a lot of influences in the local area. This study uses a case study method to study from the perspective of the consumer. This paper first introduces the background of private labels, and then analyzes the actual situation of ICA and RT-Mart. From the consumer perspective, we studied the different ideas of young consumers in two countries on their private labels. The analysis is based on young consumers of different nationalities.

In this diploma thesis I analyze data architecture and data marts in a bank area. Firstly I analyze different theoretical approaches to build the data warehouse. Consequently I specialize in operational and analytical data marts -- I analyze their business value, differences and location at the warehouse. In the third chapter I analyze reasons that have led to implement Asset Liability Management data mart. In the following chapter I analyze a life-cycle of this data mart not only from the technical point of view, but also from the project management perspective. The main benefit from this thesis is in the analysis of these aspects of ALM life cycle.

Orientador: Angela Regina Araujo / Resumo: Os fungos endofíticos, representam uma fonte promissora na descoberta de produtos naturais. Estes endófitos têm se revelado pela alta capacidade na produção de diversas classes de metabólitos secundários com uma ampla variedade de atividades biológicas, tais como: antimicrobiana, citotóxica, antioxidante, ansiolítica e inseticida. Estas observações motivaram o desenvolvimento do presente estudo, o qual visou a prospecção química e biológica dos fungos endofíticos associados à Platonia insignis Mart. O isolamento dos fungos endofíticos resultou em dezoito linhagens puras, sendo estes cultivados em meio líquido de MDB, para obtenção dos respectivos extratos brutos. Estes foram avaliados quanto ao perfil químico e biológico, os quais demonstram ser promissores para produção de substâncias bioativas. A prospecção inicial conduziu a seleção de dois fungos endofíticos, identificados como Diaporthe hongkongensis e Phyllosticta elongata para desenvolvimento do trabalho. Duas abordagens foram aplicadas a fim de verificar a influência da composição nutricional frente a produção metabólica de D. hongkongensis e P. elongata: cultivo em meio de MDB e cultivo em meio sólido de milho. O estudo de D. hongkongensis, cultivado em MDB, resultou no isolamento de uma dicetopiperazina, ariletilamida, acetiltriptamina e o acetato de metila-[2-oxo-2-(feniletilamino)], sendo o primeiro relato de isolamento deste composto como produto natural. These endophytes have been shown to be highly capable of producing various classes of secondary metabolites with a wide variety of biological activities such as antimicrobial, cytotoxic, antioxidant, anxiolytic and insecticide. These observations motivated the development of the present study, which aimed at the chemical and biological prospecting of endophytic fungi associated with Platonia insignis Mart. The isolation of endophytic fungi resulted in eighteen pure strains, which were cultivated in liquid medium of PDB, to obtain the respective crude extracts. These extracts were evaluated for chemical and biological profile, which show promise for bioactive substances production. The initial prospecting led to the selection of two endophytic fungi, identified as Diaporthe hongkongensis and Phyllosticta elongata to develop the work. Two approaches were applied to verify the influence of nutritional composition on the metabolic production of D. hongkongensis and P. elongata: cultivation in PDB medium and cultivation in solid corn medium. The study of D. hongkongensis grown in PDB resulted in the isolation of a diketopiperazine, arylethylamide, acetyltryptamine and methyl [2-oxo-2- (phenylethylamino)] acetate, being the first report of isolation of this compound as a natural product. This thesis deals with implementation of a new framework, which allows to define and generate demo data for the star schema structure. Work analyses and com-pares available demo data generators. In theoretical part of the thesis, there are described concepts and technologies using in the field of Business Intelligence. Practical part deals with the design and implementation of the framework. In the final section, there are actual examples of generated data and their possible rep-resentation (samples of possible reports and dashboards).

This qualitative analysis examines Wal-Mart managers‟ perspectives of the strategies that the U.S. corporation has implemented in order to increase its sales and profits at more than 4,000 stores in local U.S. communities. Two theoretical paradigms are specifically used: glocalization and grobalization. The former refers to cultural adaptation; the latter means standardization. The ultimate goal of the researcher is to identify the dialectical tensions between those two current forms of globalization. In-depth, face-to-face, qualitative interviewing of ten Wal-Mart managers in Central Florida allowed the researcher to actually comprehend managers‟ perspectives, gather fresh data, and construct a final product to enlighten readers on the current Wal-Martization of the United States. Throughout the data reduction process, four key themes surfaced as the most relevant to the initial research questions: (1) Awareness of Glocalization as Key to Success, (2) Grobalization Strategies Implemented, (3) Centralization as a Pattern of Grobalization, and (4) Organizational Socialization. Overall, it was found that Wal-Martization is a process that requires complex strategies and efforts to match the contemporary conditions of globalization. Meeting the needs of local Wal-Mart stores varies from one geographical location to the next. While, by definition, grobalization is a reversal of the meaning of glocalization, this study has revealed that part of Wal-Mart‟s phenomenal success is to be both grobalizing and glocalizing. Wal-Mart offers its customers the opportunity of consuming locally (e.g., Hispanic products, Mediterranean food), globally (e.g., universal U.S. merchandise), or both simultaneously (like products and traditions found in Orlando stores). In this sense, both glocalization and grobalization are effective for the successful Wal-Martization of U.S. communities
