Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση της ανάδειξης της μουσειολογικής αξίας του ρήγματος της εστίας του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών. Το ρήγμα αυτό μπορεί να αποκτήσει μουσειολογική αξία αν λάβουμε υπόψη το έντονο σεισμοτεκτονικό καθεστώς που επικρατεί στην ευρύτερη γεωγραφική περιοχή της έδρας του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών, σε συνδυασμό με την ύπαρξη εξειδικευμένου επιστημονικού προσωπικού στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών. Στα πλαίσια της εργασίας έγινε μελέτη των κριτηρίων που πρέπει να εκπληρώνει μια περιοχή ώστε να γίνει άξια προστασίας και ανάδειξης καθώς και των σκοπών που εξυπηρετεί η ανάδειξη ενός γεώτοπου. Επιπλέον, πραγματοποιήθηκε διάνοιξη παλαιοσεισμολογικής τομής για τη διερεύνηση της μουσειολογικής αξίας που θα μπορούσε να έχει το εν λόγω ρήγμα ως τεκτονική δομή. Τέλος, για την ενίσχυση της έρευνας θεωρήθηκε σκόπιμη η δημιουργία ερωτηματολογίου το οποίο απευθύνεται σε ομάδα φοιτητών του τετάρτου έτους του Γεωλογικού τμήματος του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών, οι οποίοι στα πλαίσια μαθήματος του Γεωλογικού Τμήματος επισκέπτονται διάφορες εμφανίσεις του ρήγματος. Τα αποτελέσματα των ερωτηματολογίων αναλύθηκαν με το πρόγραμμα IMB SPSS Statistics και συντέλεσαν στην εξαγωγή συμπερασμάτων για την πιθανότητα ανάδειξης και προστασίας του εν λόγω ρήγματος. / The purpose of this present thesis is to present the importance of the fault in the area of the University of Patras, particularly in the Student’s Hall of Residence. In addition, to present it’s museological value we should take into consideration the intense seismotectonic status of this fault which exists in the wider geographical region of the University of Patras. In this study, research has been done to estimate the criteria that an area must have to be worth being protected and presented as a geotope. Furthermore, to assess the museological value of this current fault, geological incision was made. Finally, to support the research it was decided to create a questionnaire which was aimed at a group of students in their fourth year of the Department of Geology of Patras University, who visit different surfaces of the fault. IMB SPSS Statistics was applied to the data of the questionnaires. Their results were interpreted in order to draw conclusions on the possibility of promoting and protecting the current fault.

A pesquisa apresenta um levantamento de dados sobre o tratamento documental de coleções fotográficas em museus de arte, após a incorporação da fotografia em seus acervos. Foram selecionados, como estudos de caso, os seguintes museus de arte de São Paulo: Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo, Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand, Museu Lasar Segall e o Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo. A pesquisa é contextualizada através da compilação de dados sobre os caminhos institucionais para preservação da fotografia e sobre o processo de assimilação da fotografia pelos museus de arte, evidenciado a partir da segunda metade do século XX. No caso dos museus de arte, pode-se observar que cada instituição percorreu uma trajetória para incorporar e documentar fotografias. Utilizam atualmente sistemas informatizados e bancos de dados como métodos de documentação e enfrentam a problemática de classificar e documentar as fotografias da coleção detalhadamente, devido à diversidade da arte contemporânea que faz uso da linguagem fotográfica, bem como da fotografia produzida na contemporaneidade. A variedade de processos e técnicas relacionados à fotografia e o hibridismo entre tipologias artísticas fazem da documentação de fotografias nos museus de arte um trabalho em constante aperfeiçoamento. / The research presents a survey of data about the documentary treatment of the photographic collections in art museums, after the incorporation of photograph in your holdings. It were selected, as case studies, the following São Paulo art museums: Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo, Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand, Museu Lasar Segall and Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo. The research is contextualized by compiling data about institutional paths for preservation of photography and about the process of assimilation of photography by art museums, evidenced from the second half of the 20th century. In the case of art museums, it can be seen that each institution traveled a trajectory for incorporate and documenting photographs. They currently use computerized systems and databases as methods of documentation and face the problematic of classifying and documenting the photographs of the collection in detail, because of the diversity of contemporary art that makes use of the photographic language and the photography produced in contemporary times. The variety of processes and techniques related to photography and hybridism between artistic typologies make of the documentation of photography in art museums a work in constant improvement.

Esta pesquisa aborda a Curadoria do Acervo Artístico-Cultural dos Palácios do Governo do Estado de São Paulo, responsável pela zeladoria de um acervo público intimamente ligado às estruturas administrativas do Estado de São Paulo, suas funções e atividades. Apresenta um histórico da formação e consolidação do Acervo Artístico-Cultural dos Palácios do Governo do Estado de São Paulo, relacionando-o aos diversos palácios já ocupados pelo Governo do Estado, e dos setores responsáveis por seu gerenciamento, a Curadoria do Acervo Artístico-Cultural dos Palácios do Governo, o seu Conselho de Orientação e o seu Conselho Consultivo. O processo curatorial desenvolvido ao longo do tempo, e aprimorado pela gestão atual, que teve início em 2007, é analisado, dando-se ênfase à metodologia utilizada para a elaboração, produção e montagem de exposições, seu principal procedimento de comunicação. A partir dos dados apresentados, visando estruturar mecanismos de proteção aos acervos de palácios de governo, formula a hipótese de implementar documentos para uma mais adequada gestão, o Plano Museológico e a Política de Gestão de Acervo. / This research addresses the Curatorship of the Artistic-Cultural Collection of the Governmental Palaces of the State of São Paulo, responsible for the safeguard of a public collection closely connected to the administrative structures of the State of São Paulo, its functions and activities. It presents the historical development of the formation and consolidation of the Artistic-Cultural Collection of the Governmental Palaces of the State of São Paulo, relating it to the several palaces once occupied by the State Government, and the departments responsible for its management, the Curatorship of the Artistic-Cultural Collection the Governmental Palaces, its Guidance Council and its Advisory Council. The curatorial process developed throughout the time, and improved by the current management, which began in 2007, is analyzed, emphasizing the methodology used for the elaboration, production and setting up of exhibitions, its main communication procedure. From the presented data, aiming to structure protection mechanisms for collections of governmental palaces, it formulates the hypothesis of implementing documents for better management, the Museological Plan and the Collection Management Policy.

Este estudo propõe a discussão da construção, desenvolvimento e apropriação do conceito de musealidade, não apenas dentro do campo museológico - em sua teoria e prática -, mas sua possível reverberação em campos correlatos e sua influência na delimitação das formas de enquadramento e tratamento do patrimônio. Propõe-se que esse conceito é central para o universo museológico, sendo um dos catalisadores das operações de salvaguarda e comunicação museológicas. Neste sentido, a sua qualificação - ou, melhor dizendo -, a tentativa de dotação de musealidade às coisas, é algo que define a Museologia como uma área específica do saber e do fazer humanos. Seria pelo prisma da musealidade que a Museologia poderia, dentro das áreas do conhecimento, lançar um olhar próprio ao mundo, qualificando ao mesmo tempo em que cria mecanismos de atuação sobre aquilo que consideramos herança. Também faz parte desta discussão a problematização das noções de Museologia, museu, musealia, musealização, entre outras. Utilizar-se-á, para este intuito, uma básica abordagem metodológica. Visa-se à revisão da literatura teórica sobre o assunto, encarando, além dos autores pilares da teoria museológica e do patrimônio, algumas definições, normas, diretrizes e outros documentos produzidos no âmbito de associações, órgãos governamentais e entidades a fim de tentar perceber as implicações do pensamento museológico no campo de sua experimentação, ou seja, os museus e o patrimônio. Finalmente, esta pesquisa visa a uma contribuição nas discussões em torno da teoria museológica. Se intenciona, também, compreender como a Museologia se configura como uma área específica e aplicada do conhecimento, sendo a musealidade um dos artifícios centrais neste processo. / This study proposes to discuss the construction, development and appropriation of the concept of museality, not only within the museological field - in its theory and practice - but its possible reverberation in related fields and its influence on the delimitation of the forms of framing and treatment of heritage. It is proposed that this concept is central to the museological universe, being one of the catalysts of museological preservation and communication operations. In this sense, its qualification - or rather -, the attempt to endow museality on things is something that defines Museology as a specific area of human practice and knowledge. It is through the prism of museality that Museology may, within the areas of knowledge, launch a proper look at the world, qualifying it at the same time that creates mechanisms of action on what we consider inheritance. It is also part of this discussion the problematization of the notions of Museology, museum, musealia, musealization, among others. For this purpose, a basic methodological approach will be used. It aims at reviewing the theoretical literature on the subject considering in addition to the pillar authors of the museological theory and the heritage field, some definitions, norms, guidelines and other documents produced by associations, government agencies, and other entities in order to perceive the implications of museological thinking in the field of its experimentation, that is, museums and heritage. Finally, this research aims at a contribution on the discussions around the museological theory. It also intends to understand how Museology is a specific and applied area of knowledge, with museality being one of the central devices on this process.

Este trabalho apresenta uma discussão sobre comunicação museológica e de que maneira as instituições trabalham a relação entre museu, público e exposição. Considera-se que a comunicação só se estabelece efetivamente quando sua forma e seu conteúdo mediam, simultaneamente, emoção e informação. Assim, a inserção de \"visitas teatralizadas\" em instituições museológicas pode oferecer o conhecimento não só pela informação em si, mas um conhecimento que, segundo Scheiner (2003), parte da informação transformada pela emoção, podendo então ser vivenciada. Do mesmo modo, o museu precisa dominar outras formas de linguagem, outros sistemas de comunicação que não sejam os habituais. A dissertação estuda e promove a compreensão sobre novas formas de estabelecer um diálogo, neste caso, via \"visitas teatralizadas\". / This paper presents a discussion on museological communication and how the institutions work the relationship among museum, public and exhibition. It is consider that communication is only established effectively when its form and its content mediates simultaneously emotion and information. Thus, the inclusion of \"guided visits with theater\" in museological institutions can provide knowledge not only for the information itself, but knowledge which, according to Scheiner (2003), part of the information transformed by the emotion and can then be experienced. Similarly, the museum must dominate other forms of language, other communication systems that are not usual. The dissertation studies and promotes the understanding of new ways to establish a dialogue, in this case via \"guided visits with theater\".

Públicos idosos e museus no Brasil: formas de atuação e perspectivas - estudo exploratório Esta pesquisa apresenta um estudo sobre as iniciativas que vêm sendo ou foram desenvolvidas nos museus brasileiros e/ou por museus brasileiros para os públicos idosos. Com base nos conceitos relacionados ao envelhecimento e na investigação sobre o envelhecimento populacional no Brasil, bem como a sua relação com a cultura; procuramos, por meio dos dados levantados em pesquisa empírica, refletir sobre os museus e os públicos idosos tendo como perspectiva a comunicação museológica. / This research presents a study of the initiatives that have been or are developed in Brazilian museums and/or by Brazilian museums for the elderly visitors. Based on the concepts related to aging and on the research of population aging in Brazil and its relation to culture, we try through the data collected in an empirical research, consider about museums and the elderly visitors having museological communication as perspective

This thesis explores representations of the Holocaust in the Jewish Museum Berlin and the impact of commercialism on representational choices. Daniel Libeskind’s bold architectural design, which ultimately became the Jewish Museum Berlin, is in many ways a Holocaust memorial. By exploring curatorial strategies in regards to exhibition design and content, this thesis analyzes the debates within the Jewish Museum Berlin over the appropriate manner to represent the Holocaust to the museum-going public in contemporary Germany. This thesis argues that commercialism and the prospects of commercial viability played a significant role in curatorial decisions concerning exhibition narrative. Germany leads the world in acknowledging and exploring their past social crimes but, this thesis argues, an important opportunity for atonement was lost when the administration of the Jewish Museum Berlin privileged commercial success over the presentation of more difficult and uncomfortable, yet socially necessary, representations of the horror of the Holocaust.

Esta dissertação apresenta os resultados de um trabalho de pesquisa desenvolvido no Programa de Pós Graduação Interunidades em Museologia, da Universidade de São Paulo. O estudo discute o Plano Museológico como instrumento de gestão adotado pelo Governo Federal brasileiro em 2006, apresenta as origens desse modelo de planejamento, suas propostas e estrutura e levanta dados sobre sua disseminação e aplicação nos museus brasileiros. Analisa, também, exemplos de Planos Museológicos, identificando aspectos positivos e negativos, procurando compreender sua utilidade na gestão dos museus e, por fim, propõe parâmetros para a elaboração de um Plano Museológico para o Museu de Arqueologia Bíblica Paulo Bork, do Centro Universitário Adventista de São Paulo (UNASP EC), adequado as suas especificidades universitárias e capaz de nortear de forma objetiva as ações dessa instituição em face da sociedade. / This dissertation presents the results of a research work in the Graduate Program in Interunits Museology, of the University of São Paulo. The study discusses the Museological Plan as a management instrument adopted by the Brazilian Federal Government in 2006, presents the origins of this planning model, its proposals and structure and raises data on its dissemination and use in Brazilian museums. It also analyzes examples of Museological Plans, identifying positive and negative aspects, trying to understand its usefulness in the management of museums and finally proposes parameters for the development of a Museological Plan for the Museum of Biblical Archaeology Paul Bork, the University Center São Paulo (UNASP EC) matches your specific university and able to guide objectively the actions of the institution in the face of society.
