The aim of this study is to investigate two Reggio Emilia-inspired preschools. The study intends to investigate how a pronounced co-researching pedagogue role affects preschool teachers’ didactic approach, planning and implementation. Three preschool teachers were interviewed in order to make visible their way of perceiving and defining the co-researching pedagogue role. Activities within the field of science were also  observed in order to examine the practical application of this teacher role. Science as a subject has been chosen based on previous research and to create a mutual and solid base for the study. The research questions are formulated as: What defines a co-researching pedagogue according to the preschool teachers? How do preschool teachers describe their co-researching attitude in relation to children’s learning in science activities? How do preschool teachers interact with children, materials and the environment during the implementation of these activities? The essay uses a triangulation of two qualitative methods – interviews and observations. The results, which derives from a phenomenographical analysis as well as an analysis on concepts of developing pedagogy, shows that children’s interests plays an important part in teachers planning and implementation. The results also show that this specific teacher role is based on a pluralistic view on knowledge. One of the conclusions is that the teachers' attitudes create favourable conditions for children's learning in general, even though the opportunities to teach children subject-specific knowledge are not always administered.

This diploma thesis focuses on the possibility of cognition and roles of philosophy and science as basic forms of knowledge. It is not an analysis of Neubauer's work, but rather an interpretation of its specific parts. The work offers insights into the post-modern treatment of knowledge as it appears in the essays published in the collections Přímluvce postmoderny (An Intercessor of Postmodernity) and O Sněhurce aneb cesta za smyslem bytí a poznání (Of Snowhite, or The Quest for the Meaning of Existence and Cognition). The work describes and amends Neubauer's recognition of the world. It also shows Neubauer's perspective on the imagination, not only as a part of cognition, but also its influence on the development of human society. Besides canceling the monopoly of Science to truthful cognition, it is also guilty of making assumptions about the future, that will almost certainly prove incorrect. The most important part of the work is the question of equality between the perception of social sciences when compared to the perception of exact sciences, and while that question has not been fully answered, already just asking such questions can be useful.

Este trabalho buscou analisar as possíveis articulações da abordagem de temas em torno da saúde no ensino de Biologia no Ensino Médio, contextualizando essa abordagem desde os documentos oficiais da educação até as práticas educativas que acontecem em uma escola pública, referentes a esse componente curricular. De natureza quali-quantitativa, esta pesquisa adotou a metodologia do tipo de estudo de caso, tendo como partícipes uma escola central de um município da fronteira oeste do Rio Grande do Sul e professores de Biologia que nela atuam. O método de análise utilizado nos materiais coletados foi a análise de conteúdo. Dos documentos oficiais analisados, um deles apresentou elementos suficientes que o identificasse como um importante documento que visa dar suporte pedagógico aos professores, trazendo possibilidades e exemplos, de fácil compreensão, em como trabalhar os assuntos relacionados à saúde no componente curricular de Biologia, e envolvendo outras áreas do conhecimento. Quanto às concepções e às recomendações a respeito da abordagem de temas alusivos à saúde, constatou-se que os aspectos biológicos e socioambientais, para as questões que envolvem à saúde, estão articulados em consonância nos documentos oficiais, nos documentos escolares e para a área das Ciências da Natureza (CN), bem como no ensino de Biologia. Isso demonstra a importância e a necessidade de se discutir os aspectos sociais para a construção do conhecimento com os estudantes, além dos biológicos, bem como a ampliação da percepção sobre saúde e os seus determinantes. Outro fato importante na pesquisa foi que a maior parte das concepções analisadas nos registros dos documentos oficias da educação e dos documentos escolares estudados estão pautados, prioritariamente, na promoção da Literacia em saúde. Além disso, percebeu-se a existência de distintas concepções de saúde nos diferentes materiais de estudo, embora cada uma ressaltou as suas teorias e epistemologias, todas assinalam caraterísticas e elementos essenciais para entender e perceber a importância da abordagem de temas relativos à saúde dentro do contexto escolar. Também, notou-se que a escola estudada é vista como um espaço importante para estimular discussões em torno da saúde, associando o ensino de Biologia como uma área essencial para trabalhar os diversos assuntos relacionados à saúde em sala de aula com os estudantes. Espera-se que os conhecimentos atuais e mais relevantes em relação à saúde, traçados na escola e trabalhados no ensino de Biologia, sejam contemplados e considerados, com mais ênfase, na elaboração dos documentos oficiais estudados, bem como as diversas problemáticas que cercam as práticas de vida dos estudantes, os quais carecem de maiores esclarecimentos e orientações a respeito da abordagem de temas relacionados à saúde no contexto do Ensino Médio. / This study aims to analyse possible articulations of health themes approach in Biology teaching on High School, contextualizing this approach since official education documents until educational practices that happens at a public school, in relation this curriculum component. In addition, we notes researched school it has seen as unique space for encouraging argue around of health, associating Biology teaching as one essential area for working several health themes in classroom with students. It will expected that current and more relevant health knowledge, traced on school and in Biology teaching, it might be contemplate and considered in the studied official documents elaboration with more emphasis, as well the different issues around students’ lifestyle, which needs major clarifications and orientations about health issue approach in High School context.

Sparčiai besivystant mokslui, didėjant gamtamokslinių specialybių poreikiui ir jų svarbai šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje, atsiranda spraga ieškant specialistų užpildant šios srities darbo rinką. Pastarąjį dešimtmetį pradėtas skirti nemažas dėmesys neformaliam bei ikiprofesiniam ugdymui mokyklose, kuris padeda moksleiviams sėkmingai pasirinkti tolimesnes studijas bei įsitvirtinti darbo rinkoje pasirenkant jiems tinkamas specialybes. Šiame darbe norėjome nustatyti gamtamokslinio neformalaus ugdymo ir mokinių ikprofesinio pasirinkimo sąsajas. Šiam tikslui pasiekti išsikėlėme tris uždavinius: 1) Atskleisti mokinių ikiprofesinį konsultavimą. 2) Išsiaiškinti mokinių, pasirinkusių gamtamokslinius būrelius, lankymo motyvus. 3) Išsiaiškinti mokinių ikiprofesinį konsultavimą ir lankomų gamtamokslinių būrelių sąsajas. Kadangi ikiprofesinis konsultavimas nors ir ne visose mokyklose, bet vyksta, norėdami žinoti vienos ar kitos srities įtaką profesijų pasirinkimui reikėtų atlikti tyrimus panašius kaip šis.Tuo metu turėtume pilną vaizdą apie Lietuvos ikiprofesinio ugdymo daromą įtaką, ir žinotume kokio tipo ikiprofesinam ugdymui reikėtų daugiau skirti dėmesį atsižvelgiant į jo teikiamą naudą. That’s why there is some difficulties to full fill that kind working places. In recent ten years schools started to pay more attention to informal and to vocational guidance in schools. These kind of teaching helps for school children to select further studies and profession success. In this work we wanted to test the connection ways of informal nature science education and vocational guidance in school. For this propos we hypothesize three hypotheses: 1) reveal schoolchildren vocational guidance. 2) To find out attendance motivation schoolchildren who selected nature science clusters. 3) Find out schoolchildren vocational guidance and attended nature science correlations. Vocational guidance is not at all schools. If we wanted to find out influence of some ranges to profession selection we should do some researches like that. Than we have had a full view about influence of Lithuanian vocational guidance at schools. Than we could see what type of vocational guidance needs more attention according to his offered benefit. Annotation Stanislava Fedrová, 2009: Natural interests in the neighbourhood of Moravské Budějovice and their usage in natural science at primary school. There were two walks ready for processing of this thesis, one of them was a field trip and the other was a chat with naturalist. The aim of this thesis is to suggest activities leading to cognition of the neighbourhood of Moravské Budějovice and to place these activities in convinient natural subjects-oriented at primary school (especially natural science and elementary teaching and national history and geography).

This diploma thesis deals with activating teaching methods used during Nature Science lessons on elementary schools with focus on higher vertebrates - reptiles, birds and mammals. This work is based on theoretical part which describes teaching methods leading to development of key competencies. Main part of this work includes particular activating tasks created by author of this thesis. These tasks lead to teaching oriented on students. The primary objective of submitted study is the construction of SCIENCE CENTER in České Budějovice. The building is conceived as an informal education center of a regional nature, which focuses on popularization of science and new technologies. Emphasis is placed on interactive concept of the exposition and the possibility to test newly acquired knowledge. Reduction of energy use and service staff size by means of high-level automatization of operational processes management are other important factors of buildings design. The resulting shape of the object follows the mass nature and geometry of its immediate surroundings.

Dagens svenska samhälle innefattar ett stort kulturellt kapital och en omfattande språkflora. Den språkrikedom som finns i vår omgivning kan direkt avspeglas i klassrummet där nästintill alla landets klassrum är flerspråkiga. Studien ämnar undersöka vilka hjälpmedel flerspråkiga och nyanlända elever i mellanstadiet har tillgång till i det naturvetenskapliga klassrummet som har direkt betydelse för sin språk- och kunskapsutveckling. Studien syftar även till att belysa dessa elevers egna perspektiv på naturvetenskapsundervisningen i ordinarie klasser. Dataunderlaget består av elevsamtal och genomgångar under elevernas möten med artefakter från två olika klasser inom samma område norr om Stockholm. Dessa videoinspelade observationer kompletterades med fokusgruppsintervjuer där eleverna reflekterade över sin undervisning. I studien möter eleverna i den ena klassen ett naturvetenskapligt innehåll rörande kemiförsök medan den andra klassen möter ett naturvetenskapligt innehåll rörande ett skolgemensamt tema om kropp och hälsa. Dataunderlaget analyserades utifrån ett praktiskt epistemologiskt perspektiv och kring begreppen artefakt, translanguaging och kontinuitet. Resultatet visar att de kommunikativa artefakterna såsom filmer, bilder och gestikulerande, men även andra hjälpmedel såsom digitala lexikon ger de flerspråkiga eleverna möjlighet att föra informella samtal med samspråkiga och olikspråkiga elever. Detta leder till ett meningsskapande inom naturvetenskap och bidrar till en såväl språklig som kunskapsmässig utveckling. Sammantaget har detta en viktig roll i utformandet av en språkinriktad naturvetenskapsundervisning. Förhoppningen är att denna studie ska bidra med upptäckter som uppmuntrar lärare att anpassa sin undervisning och följaktligen höja kvalitéten på flerspråkiga elevers undervisning i naturvetenskap.
