Syftet med undersökningen var att belysa några förskollärares kunskaper om genus samt i vilket utsträckning deras genusmedvetenhet avspeglades i förskolans praktiska arbete med jämställdhet. Ett ytterligare syfte var att undersöka hur jämställdhetsinriktat arbete kommunicerades till föräldrarna. Vi använde oss av en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi. Metoden vi valde var semistrukturerade intervjuer där åtta personer ställde upp för en personlig intervju som sedan transkriberats och analyserats. Vårt resultat visade att det fanns ett intresse kring genus och jämställdhet men att arbetet gällande detta inte genomsyrades i verksamheten. De flesta uttryckte att de ville få större kunskap kring ämnet. Slutsatsen vi har kommit fram till är att det finns ett genuint och positivt intresse hos förskollärarna men att det tycks krävas ytterligare bearbetning av nuvarande kunskap för att kunna driva ett fortgående arbete med genus och jämställdhet

Abstract: In the definition of Mahan`s theory of Seapower, the material conditions and military power are essential for the countries to strengthen national power and develop the Seapower. And the Seapower also becomes one of the methods to strengthen national interests and power. It didn`t be explained that how do the countries find the way to seek for power and interests and what does the Seapower mean to other countries? In my article, I try to explain that after 1949, the process of PRC that seek for Seapower and the meanings to other countries by Constructivism.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka representationen av HBTQ-personer i kristna nyhetstidningar i Sverige. Frågeställningen innefattar hur dessa representeras, vilka som representerar dem och hur representationen förhåller sig till Rainer Forsts toleranskriterier. Materialet består av opinionsmaterial från Kyrkans Tidning, Dagen och Världen Idag, och i analysen behandlas artiklar från år 2009 och 2014. För att undersöka representationen har jag har gjort en kritisk diskursanalys utifrån Fairclough. Jag har även lyft in teorier om stereotypisering av Stuart Hall och Richard Dyer, representation av HBTQ-personer av Shiri Eisner och könsnormer av Judith Butler. Artiklarna har delats in i pro- och kontraartiklar. Analysen visar att pro-artiklarna saknar sanningsanspråk, vilket visar en inkluderande attityd. Kontraartiklarna fokuserar på den egna tolkningen som den enda rätta, vilket genererar en auktoritär attityd som betraktar den homosexuelle som syndare så länge personen lever ut sin homosexualitet. De tenderar även att se det sekulära samhället som hotfullt och skapar en stereotyp av HBTQ-gruppen som högljudd och krävande. Denna stereotyp är som tydligast år 2014. Pro-artiklarna välkomnar människor av olika sexuella läggningar medan kontraartiklarna ser den heterosexuella läggningen som den enda av Gud givna, naturliga och önskvärda läggningen. Ledarartiklarna avgjör tidningens officiella ställningstagande och analysen visar att Kyrkans Tidning är mest tillåtande. HBTQ-gruppen representeras dock endast av homosexuella i samtliga tidningar. Världen Idag är den enda tidningen som saknar pro-artiklar och lever därav inte upp till Forsts toleranskriterier. Kyrkans Tidning kan placeras i värdesättningsuppfattningen och Dagen i tillåtelseuppfattningen.

The discussion examines the idea that because of its relatively unique nature, commercial law has the distinct ability to evolve and function in the absence of a central coercive authority. While law of a non-commercial nature generally requires the backing of a state through which to derive its efficacy, a great deal of commercial law as it exists today evolves often in the absence of a single coercive authority, shaped largely by market forces outside the purview of any one state power. To this end, we look primarily at transnational commercial law, specifically at what is commonly understood as the new law merchant. It is the central contention of this paper that commercial law stands apart from other forms of law in that it is uniquely equipped to generate norms in situations where a single legislative power is notably not present, as it is largely impacted by the choices and behaviour of individual economic actors. We examine the notion that the manner of interaction implied by commercial intercourse involves a higher degree of overall engagement. This we term ‘high engagement’, which we divide into two elements: repetition and game creation, which with reciprocity, works in tandem to produce identifiable legal norms and the subsequent compliance with them. In Part I, after presenting a brief overview of the idea of reciprocity and spontaneous law theory, a more detailed explanation of the notion of engagement is offered. In Part II, we set out exactly how high engagement facilitates the development of and compliance with legal norms. Finally, the conclusion this paper reaches is that this element of high engagement, a salient characteristic of commercial interaction, plays a decisive role in the ability of commercial law to evolve and function in the vacuum of a central legislative authority.

The following research and subsequent study look at identity construction and intergroup differences during computer-mediated communication (CMC) across two platforms with varying degrees of anonymity: Twitter and Yik Yak. A review of research conducted mainly within the framework of the social identity model of deindividuation (SIDE) demonstrates that, counter to popular beliefs heralding the individual freedoms of anonymity, anonymous environments act to strengthen salient social identities and perpetuate group norms. In a medium with such variability and flexibility, drawing comparisons across platforms based solely on content can lead to error. In an attempt to circumvent this difficultly, a linguistics analysis of function words was conducted in each condition. Statistical tests point to changes in usage frequencies of i, impersonal pronouns, you, and they as distinctive between the individuating environment of Twitter and anonymous Yik Yak, while an almost identical underlying proportional framework seen in both platforms brings new context to understanding the role of societal norms in language construction.

Denna uppsats syftar till att belysa hur lärare tolkar demokratiuppdraget när det gäller barns inflytande över normer i förskolan. Tolkningsbarheten i lärares uppdrag problematiseras och diskuteras utifrån ett barndomssociologiskt perspektiv, med särskilt fokus på hur barns inflytande kan påverkas av relationen med vuxna. De två metoder som används i studien är intervjuer av lärare i två förskolor samt observationer av lärarnas arbete i deras verksamhet. I bakgrunden problematiseras de olika dokument som rör förskolans verksamhet, utgångspunkten för uppsatsen är denna tolkningsbarhet. I bakgrunden görs en fördjupning i tidigare forskningslitteratur om olika sätt att förhålla sig till barn. Studien har haft som mål att undersöka hur lärare som har ett särskilt intresse för demokratiska frågor i förskolan reflekterar över barns inflytande. Resultatet lyfter framförallt hur välvillighet, ett ömsesidigt förtroende samt god kommunikation påverkar relationen mellan barn och lärare. Resultatet tyder på att lärares olika sätt att förhålla sig till barn kan förstärka eller försvaga relationen mellan barn och lärare.

Abortion remains a contentious issue, which greatly raises ethical problems. This thesis examines the leading arguments in the Swedish abortion debate around the – in terms of legislation – critical years of 1938 and 1974. With Foucault's genealogical method, Butler's theories of gender as a social construction in relation to power and doxa, the study examines what the development of the argumentation says about the views on morality, the woman's body, life, individual and state? How has the arguments pro and against abortion changed over time and what does this say about the norms that guide and orientate the arguments? The most obvious change in argumentation is seen in the shift from an absolute moral and conservative position into an increasingly relativistic and liberal position, and this study will argue that this shift has its prerequisites in the changing status of the citizen and state. Yet, despite these developments, a moral ambivalence can be discerned in the arguments advanced in favour of the right to abortion. The question of what life is grievable and when this occurs is constantly negotiated. This constant negotiation is modulated and modified by different discourses. As this study shows, the absolutistic and the relativistic discourse gives rise to radically different positions. But while the relativistic discourse once radicalized the discussion on abortion, mainly because it served to relativize an absolutist position, it serves radically other purposes today. The subjectivist stance could even be seen to threaten individual’s right to self-determination over their own bodies.
