Esta diferenciação é vista pelas organizações de diferentes formas, mas uma delas, em indústrias que depende da tecnologia, é através da própria evolução tecnológica. A competitividade destas organizações, como no caso da indústria pesquisada, é tema de estudos no próprio planejamento estratégico. Nesse sentido, pesquisas que visam a aproximar e a auxiliar os conceitos da gestão competitiva, aplicando a teoria na prática fazem-se necessárias. O estudo da competitividade dentro das empresas, de maneira geral, tem o foco nas alternativas que geram diferenciação e crescimento. Dentro deste contexto, o objetivo do presente trabalho é identificar e priorizar os fatores de competição do ponto de vista das operações preferenciais (vendas, fabricação e desenvolvimento) de uma empresa de base tecnológica e identificar como os mesmos contribuem para a estratégia de competição do negócio. Este objetivo se busca a partir da análise dos produtos da empresa utilizada no estudo de caso, presente no mercado de tecnologia eletroeletrônica, sob estudo de caso exploratório, utilizando a técnica de grupo focal, contribuir para incrementar a importância da exploração das diversas dimensões competitivas na organização e identificar qual o reflexo que pode ser obtido na estratégia empresarial. Com esse foco, propõe-se uma maior atenção a estudos, presentes e futuros, nas dimensões competitivas das empresas que atuam no mercado de tecnologia. / The organizations, in general, inserted into different market segments, are constantly seeking for differentiation. In industries that rely on technology, this differentiation can be achieved by technological evolution. The competitiveness in the industry is studied in their strategic planning. In this sense, necessary research can help bringing the concepts and management of competitive, applying theory in the strategic procedures. The study of competitiveness within firms, in general, focuses on alternatives that generate growth and differentiation. Within this context, the objective of this research is to identify and prioritize the factors of competition in terms of preferential transactions (sales, manufacturing and development) of a technology based company and identify how they contribute to the strategy of business competition. This goal is sought by analyzing the companys products used in the case study, in the market of electronics technology, under an exploratory case study, using focus groups, help to promote the importance of exploring the various competitive dimensions in the organization and identify the reflex that can be achieved in business strategy. With this focus, we propose an increased focus on studies on competitive dimensions of companies that operate in the technological market.

Strategic Determinants of Human Capital Management in China

China has been a popular place for investment since it opened market in 1980¡¦s. Firms need to consider how to use inner and outer factors to gain competitiveness in this furious competition. This research is using a qualitative approach and case details were collected from firms which operate in China for years. This research aims to discover the relationship between firms¡¦ inner factors which are organizational capital types, strategic human capital management practices, and corporate entrepreneurship capability, and how they affect organizational competitiveness. Besides, this research also adds in the effect of institutional environment to find out how it influences those inner resources. Findings reveal that environmental factors are influencing firms¡¦ corporate entrepreneurship capability, but the effect is different in different industries and ownerships. For foreign investment, the effect is weak and negative; for local high-tech firms, the effect is strong and positive; for local service firms, the effect is huge and negative. Moreover, organizational capital types and strategic human capital management practices are influenced by institutional environment. Organizational capital is positively influencing corporate entrepreneurship and influencing selection of strategic human capital management practices, and even positively affecting organizational competitiveness. However, corporate entrepreneurship capability is influenced by organizational capital types and strategic human capital management practices and further affecting organizational competitive ability.

Modelagem para mensuração da competitividade na geração de energia fotovoltaica / Modeling for measurement of competitiveness in generation of photovoltaic energy

The photovoltaics is seen internationally regarded as a very promising technology. It is estimated that Brazil currently has a high capacity for solar power generation. Furthermore, from a strategic point of view, Brazil has a number of favorable natural features, such as high levels of insolation and great quality quartz reserves that can generate important competitive advantage for the production of silicon with high purity, photovoltaic cells and modules of high added value. In order to make the generation of Brazilian photovoltaics globally competitive, some government incentives are providing the growth, expansion and modernization of this technology. Despite the favorable environment in which it is the generation of electricity from renewable sources there are still gaps that undermine the competitiveness of plants that generate energy from photovoltaic source, such as the qualifications of labor available, the adequacy of suppliers to their demands and the great need for investment in technology. In this sense, this master thesis aimed to propose a modeling able to measure the level of competitiveness in the generation of photovoltaic energy, based on a bibliographical and documentary research on industry characteristics were raised 41 performance indicators, using for both assumptions regarding the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and elements of the multi-criteria approach to decision support. The proposed survey instrument was applied in two Brazilian solar plants, a research center on renewable energy the European Union and the metal-mechanic sector industry that has a solar system in operation. The test evaluation phase generated an index that represents the competitive performance of each of the participating research companies, Usina Eletrosul had a competitive percentage of 46.80%, the company Tramontina Eletrik 58%, Usina Tauá 74.75 % and 76.64% Cener, allowing a comparative discussion of the results. Later, they were recommendations proposed able to leverage the competitiveness of Usina Eletrosul, involving the simulation of indicators that showed unsatisfactory levels, demonstrating the relevance of modeling to increase the competitiveness of companies generating photovoltaic front power to the scenario at hand. / A energia fotovoltaica é vista internacionalmente como uma tecnologia bastante promissora. O Brasil tem atualmente uma elevada capacidade de geração de energia solar, além disso, do ponto de vista estratégico, possui uma série de características naturais favoráveis, tais como, altos níveis de insolação e grandes reservas de quartzo de qualidade, que podem gerar importante vantagem competitiva para a produção de silício com alto grau de pureza, células e módulos fotovoltaicos de alto valor agregado. Com o objetivo de tornar a geração de energia fotovoltaica brasileira mundialmente competitiva, alguns incentivos do governo estão proporcionando o crescimento, expansão e modernização desta tecnologia. Apesar do ambiente favorável em que se encontra a geração de energia elétrica a partir de fontes renováveis ainda existem lacunas que prejudicam a competitividade de usinas que geram energia a partir da fonte fotovoltaica, como a qualificação da mão-de-obra disponível, as adequações dos fornecedores às suas demandas e a grande necessidade de investimento em tecnologia. Neste sentido, esta dissertação de mestrado teve por objetivo propor uma modelagem capaz de mensurar o nível de competitividade na geração da energia fotovoltaica, fundamentada em uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental sobre as características do setor foram levantados 41 indicadores de desempenho, utilizando-se para tanto os pressupostos referentes aos Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) e elementos da abordagem multicritério de apoio à decisão. O instrumento de pesquisa proposto foi aplicado em duas Usinas Solares brasileiras, um centro de pesquisa em energias renováveis da União Europeia e uma indústria do setor metalmecânico que possui um sistema solar em operação. A fase de avaliação do teste gerou um índice que representa o desempenho competitivo de cada uma das empresas participantes da pesquisa, a Usina da Eletrosul apresentou um percentual competitivo de 46,80%, a empresa Tramontina Eletrik 58%, a Usina Tauá 74,75% e o Cener 76,64%, permitindo uma discussão comparativa dos resultados obtidos. Posteriormente, foram propostas recomendações capazes de alavancar a competitividade da Usina da Eletrosul, envolvendo a simulação de indicadores que apresentaram níveis insatisfatórios, demonstrando-se a relevância da modelagem para elevar a competitividade de empresas geradoras de energia fotovoltaica frente ao cenário em que se apresenta.

師父工作不安全感與師徒功能關係之探討:組織競爭氣候知覺與師徒關係類型之調節效果 / Job insecurity and mentoring support: the moderating roles of intraorganizational competitiveness climate perception and mentorship formality

師徒關係是組織中重要的人際關係,而師父是師徒功能的提供者,故探討影響師父是否提供師徒功能的因素有其理論與實務上的的意涵。然而,現有文獻大多從徒弟特質或環境因素來探討促進師父提供師徒功能之因素,而忽略了師父本人的動機因素。有鑑於此,本研究將反向思考,探討降低師父提供師徒功能之因素。本研究首先探討師父工作不安全感與師徒功能之負向關係。並進一步探討師父的組織競爭氣候知覺與師徒關係類型是否調節前述之負向關係。本研究以便利抽樣之方法進行資料收集,共獲得170份有效問卷。根據迴歸分析結果顯示,師父工作不安全感與師徒功能有負向關係,但僅有師父的組織競爭氣候知覺調節前述之負向關係。當師父的組織競爭氣候知覺高時,前述負向關係的強度更強。但師徒關係類型(正式或非正式)則不對於上述關係具有調節效果。本論文也針對研究結果的理論與管理意涵進行討論。 / Mentors are the providers for mentoring support to protégés. However, the available studies focus on factors relevant to protégés or contexts and overlooked the role of mentors. Given that mentor plays an indispensable role in mentoring relationships, understanding the mentor-related factors that contribute to mentors’ provision of mentoring support has theoretical and practical implications. To this end, the current study examined the factors that prevent mentors from providing mentoring support to their protégés. Specifically, I argue that mentors’ job insecurity will be negatively related mentoring support provided. Furthermore, mentors’ intra-organizational competitiveness climate perception and mentorship formality will moderate the above negative relationship. Using a convenience sampling strategy, data from 170 mentoring pairs were collected. Results of hierarchical regression analysis indicated that job insecurity was negatively related with mentoring functions. Furthermore, intra-organizational competitiveness climate perception moderated the negative relationship between job insecurity and mentor functions such that the negative relationship was stronger for mentors who have high intra-organizational competitiveness climate perception. Finally, mentorship formality failed to moderate the above relationship. Theoretical and practical implications of this research were discussed.

Web 2.0 has revolutionized how government, business and society interact, work, communicate and share information and has been widely used as a tool to support the strategic management of organizations. In the field of private higher education institutions, there are multiple opportunities that arise before the effective use of this information flow that come through, especially the digital social networks. This study aims to evaluate the competitiveness of private higher education institutions, based on a system of performance measurement of digital social networks. Resorting to the scientific area, there is a gap and the paucity of studies that attempt to topics such as performance measurement and evaluation of online social networks from the perspective of organizational strategic management. Under this bias, the relevance of the theme of this work is given in that it will provide a framework of concepts and references that confirm the importance of the role of social networks in organizations, particularly as regards the treatment of opinions that can arise from interactions in social networks, with a view to organizational competitiveness. With regard to procedures and techniques, the research is characterized as a multicases study and the nature, it is an applied research that attempts to evaluate the processes of competitiveness of private higher education institutions that emerge from their interactions in digital social networks, by proposing a measurement system with indicators that are able to observe the opinions that resonate in digital social networks. Data collection will be conducted with all private higher education institutions in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, considering the social networks more than simple information exchange, but a challenge in the organizational environment, which extends the capability of disseminating information. At the end, we will present the relevant data of the research, ie, the conclusions obtained from the application of the proposed system, including detailed descriptions of the criteria used. Although the measurement of social networks through one system, being a nascent field for the strategic management of organizations, the trend is of great development, so that scientific research will help the consolidation of knowledge in this area. In this context, it is suggested to studies following the application of the system presented in this work as opportunity for applications in the field of discussion. / A Web 2.0 revolucionou o modo como governo, as empresas e a sociedade interagem, trabalham, comunicam e compartilham informações e vem sendo amplamente utilizada como ferramenta de apoio à gestão estratégica das organizações. No campo das Instituições de ensino superior privadas, são múltiplas as oportunidades que aparecem diante do bom aproveitamento deste fluxo de informações que surge através, especialmente, das redes sociais digitais. Assim, este trabalho objetiva avaliar a competitividade de Instituições de ensino superior privadas, com base em um sistema de mensuração de desempenho das redes sociais digitais. Recorrendo-se à produção científica da área, observa-se uma lacuna e a incipiência de estudos que atentem para temas como mensuração e avaliação de desempenho de redes sociais digitais sob a ótica da gestão estratégica organizacional. Sob este viés, a relevância do tema deste trabalho se dá na medida em que ele proporciona um arcabouço de conceitos e referenciais que confirmam a importância da atuação das organizações na Web, especialmente no que se refere ao tratamento das opiniões que podem surgir a partir de interações nas redes sociais digitais, com vistas à competitividade organizacional. Com relação aos procedimentos e técnicas, a pesquisa se caracteriza como um estudo de multicasos e, quanto à natureza, trata-se de uma pesquisa aplicada que tentará avaliar os processos de competitividade que surgem a partir das interações nas redes sociais digitais. A coleta de dados foi realizada com todas as Instituições de ensino superior privadas do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, considerando as redes sociais digitais mais do que simples intercâmbio de informações, e sim um desafio no ambiente organizacional, que amplia a capacidade de difusão de informações. Ao final, serão apresentados os dados relevantes da pesquisa, ou seja, as conclusões obtidas a partir da aplicação do sistema proposto, incluindo descrições detalhadas dos critérios utilizados. Apesar da mensuração de redes sociais digitais, por meio de um sistema, ser um campo ainda incipiente para a gestão organizacional, a tendência é de grande desenvolvimento, de modo que as pesquisas científicas auxiliarão a consolidação dos conhecimentos nesta área. Neste contexto, sugere-se seguir com estudos da aplicação do sistema apresentado neste trabalho, como oportunidade para aplicações das discussões na área.

組織轉型能力之建構與評鑑工具之發展

本研究之目的在於探討組織轉型能力之建構,並依此建構發展一套組織能力之評鑑工具。其次,融入組織核心能力、核心職能與轉型能力的概念,建構組織能力發展模式,以協助台灣中小企業有效診斷組織體質,進而提昇組織績效與競爭力。 本研究採用質量並重之研究方法進行探討,首先藉由「行為事例訪談法」進行深度訪談(N=5),並針對企業個案(美國奇異集團、大陸海爾集團、台灣宏碁集團)進行傳記文本分析,繼而編撰量表題目。本研究以台灣企業組織做為母群,以立意抽樣方式蒐集124份樣本,經過實證分析後,顯示本研究發展的「組織轉型能力量表」共包含組織領導、策略願景、心智模式與組織學習等四個構面,且在內部一致性信度(.973)、效標關聯效度(.611)、與建構效度等檢驗指標上,皆有顯著的效果。 此外,根據組織能力模式與績效的路徑分析結果顯示:1.組織轉型能力在組織核心職能與核心能力、組織績效之間具有中介效果。2.組織能力彼此之間具有顯著的關聯性,且皆對組織績效具有貢獻與影響。3.組織轉型能力中的心智模式與組織學習構面,以及組織的資源競爭核心能力,最能預測組織績效的表現。最後研究者則針對學術研究與實務應用方面提出具體的討論與建議。 / The purpose of this study was to investigate the constructs of organizational transformation competence and use them to develop an assessment tool for evaluating organizational competencies. Besides, the concepts of core competence (based on the strategic management theory), generic competence (based on the competence model), and transformation competence, were incorporated to construct a model of organizational competence development, so as to assist Taiwanese small and medium enterprises to effectively diagnose organizational itself and further of enhance organizational performance and competitiveness. This study adopted both qualitative and quantitative research methods for analysis. First of all, Behavioral Event Interview (BEI) was used to perform in-depth interviews with the research subjects (n=5). Besides, the biographical texts of the studied cases (America’s GE Group, China’s Haier Electronics Group, and Taiwan’s Acer Group) were analyzed to design the items of the questionnaire. Also corporate organizations in Taiwan were taken as the population, and a total of 124 samples were collected using purposive sampling. Through empirical analysis, it showed that the proposed “Organizational Transformation Competence Scale” encompassed four dimensions, namely organizational leadership, strategic vision, mental model, and organizational learning. In conclusion, the internal consistency validity (Cronbach’s α=.973), criterion-related validity (validity coefficient=.611), and construct validity were good and compliant. Moreover, according to the path analysis of the organizational competence model and performance, it was revealed that (1) organizational transformation competence had the mediating effect on the relationships between generic competence and organizational core competence and organizational performance; (2) organizational competencies were significantly correlated with one another, and contributive and influential to organizational performance; (3) the mental model and organizational learning dimensions of organizational transformation competence and the organizational core competence for resource competition could mostly predict organizational performance. Finally, substantial suggestions were proposed for follow-up academic studies and practical applications.

從學習型組織、文化與領導,探討個人學習與組織訓練對績效、競爭力之影響

本研究之目的在於從學習型組織、文化、與領導,探討個人學習與組織訓練對績效、競爭力的影響,並藉由研究結果發展出「組織學習之競爭力模式」與問卷,以協助台灣企業進行組織診斷,進而有助於提昇個人、組織、與國家整體之績效、競爭力。 本研究運用文獻探討與問卷施測的方式,進行變項之間關聯性的探討,以國內企業作為研究對象,採立意抽樣方式共蒐集有效樣本153份。經過實證分析後,顯示本研究所使用之量表在內部一致性信度(.919~.973)與標準化迴歸係數(.469~.853)等檢驗指標上,皆達顯著的效果。 最後,根據路徑分析之結果顯示:1.「領導者學習型文化形塑能力」確實會對「學習型組織文化」之形塑,以及「組織績效」產生正向影響,2.「學習型組織文化」與「學習型組織」則分別對「個人競爭力」與「組織競爭力」產生正向影響,3.「組織訓練流程」對「組織競爭力」,以及「組織競爭力」對「組織績效」亦分別產生正向影響,因此本研究所建構之理論模式大致獲得支持,同時在各變項上的研究假設亦大多獲得驗證。最後研究者則針對學術研究與實務應用提出具體的討論與建議。 關鍵詞:領導者學習型文化形塑能力、學習型組織、學習型組織文化、個人學習技巧、組織訓練流程、個人競爭力、組織競爭力、組織績效 / The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the organizational competitiveness and performance from the learning organization, leadership, organizational culture, personal learning, and organizational training, and try to develop the ‘competitiveness model of organizational learning’, and questionnaires. At the same time, the author hopes the questionnaires can help the organizations of Taiwan, diagnose their organization and improve the competitiveness and performance of personal, organizational, and country. This study adopted literature review and questionnaire survey to collect research data. The sample of this study is 153 workers from organizations of Taiwan. Through the empirical data analysis, it showed that the questionnaires of this study have high reliability (.919~.973) and standard regression coefficient (.469~.853). According to the result of the path analysis: (1) ‘the ability of develop a learning organizational culture of leader’ has significant and positive influence of ‘learning organizational culture’ and ‘organizational performance’, (2) ’learning organizational culture’ has significant and positive influence of ‘personal competitiveness’, while ‘learning organization’ has significant and positive influence of ‘organizational competitiveness’, (3) ‘organizational training procedures’ has significant and positive influence of ‘organizational competitiveness’, and ‘organizational competitiveness’ has significant and positive influence of ‘organizational performance’. Moreover, the research data support the developed model and confirm most hypotheses of this study. Finally, substantial suggestions were proposed for follow-up academic studies and practical applications. 本研究係以Sternberg的WICS領導模式出發,探討當領導者具備智慧、實用智力、分析智力、創造力,並將這些技能產生綜效時,是否能形塑組織文化,進而影響組織的顧客需求知覺、因應金融海嘯策略、與顧客滿意等方面的展現,而後對於組織競爭力與組織績效產生影響。此外,本研究亦嘗試發展一整合模式,以提供企業組織做為診斷與發展的重要參考。 本研究首先針對六位在職者進行訪談,以釐清研究架構與變項之內涵,並據以進行量表編製或引用相關量表,且以一般企業員工作為研究母群,採立意取樣方式進行樣本蒐集,總計蒐集到327份有效問卷。信效度及因素分析結果顯示,本研究量表擁有良好之內部一致信度(.90~.98)與效標關聯效度(.41~.74)。階層迴歸與結構方程模式驗證研究假設之結果顯示:1.領導技能對於組織文化、組織績效具有正向且顯著的影響、2.組織文化對於顧客需求知覺具有正向且顯著的影響、3.顧客需求知覺對於因應金融海嘯策略具有正向且顯著的影響、4.因應金融海嘯策略對於顧客滿意、組織競爭力具有正向且顯著的影響、5.顧客滿意對於組織競爭力具有正向且顯著的影響、6.組織競爭力對於組織績效具有正向且顯著的影響、7.標竿企業在上述變項皆顯著優於一般與虧損企業。最後,並將訪談結果來驗證研究之假設與架構。綜合而言,本研究採質化與量化兩者得兼之方式來進行研究架構與假設之驗證。 總而言之,本研究之具體貢獻為:理論整合與創新、實務應用與發展。除了整合「領導技能、競爭力、績效」之研究外,亦提出創新的顧客需求知覺之內涵,可幫助開啟後續相關研究,並以宏觀角度發展出「領導技能、顧客需求知覺、因應金融海嘯策略、顧客滿意」之整合模式,以提供企業組織變革與發展之依據。 / This study starts with Sternberg's WICS leadership model, investigating the effect of leaders' wisdom, practical intelligence, analytic intelligence, creativity, and synthesized on organizational culture, and perception of customer need, coping strategies of financial crisis, customer satisfaction, and ultimately, on organizational competitiveness, organizational performance. In addition, this study tries to construct a macro model, which assists organizations in diagnosing and developing. This study compiles related scales and use survey method to collect data. Moreover, it chooses employees in enterprises as research population and uses convenience sampling. The total number of effective sample is 327. All questionnaires were factor analysis examined, and confirmed to have highly reliability (.90~.98) and validity (.41~.74). The conclusion drawn from result of hierarchical regression analysis and structural equation modeling analysis indicates:1. leaders' skills have positive and significant effect on organizational culture and organizational performance; 2. organizational culture have positive and significant effect on perception of customer need; 3. perception of customer need have positive and significant effect on coping strategies of financial crisis; 4. coping strategies of financial crisis have positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and organizational competitiveness; 5. customer satisfaction have positive and significant effect on organizational competitiveness; 6. organizational competitiveness have positive and significant effect on organizational performance; 7. above variables in benchmarking enterprises are significant better than normal and deficit enterprises. Furthermore, this study also applied interview with 6 professionals as a method to gather opinions on variables and confirm the model. Finally, the contribution of this study includes "integration and innovation of theories" and " practical applications". This study proposes the model of leadership, perception of customer need, coping strategies of financial crisis and customer satisfaction from macro view point. It not only initiates follow-up academic studies, but also provides an innovative model for enterprises to change and develop.
