Jobbcoachning : Vägen framåt i arbetslivet!

Eriksson, Tove, Åhlman, Helene January 2016 (has links)
This study aims to investigate job coachers’ view of their work with clients as well as the process of knowledge transfer between coach and client. Seven semi-structured interviews have been performed with both private and public companies. Job coaching is a relatively newly established profession within the Swedish labour market and was introduced in Sweden 2008. Job coaches work with supporting individuals, managers and organizations. The relationship between coach and client is built on trust between the two parties, something that was recurring in the stories of the job coaches concerning their coaching task. This study is analysed through of a socio-cultural perspective, which we will immerse ourselves in four models: the sociocultural perspective on learning, situated learning, learning theory of David Kolb's experiential learning and Co-Active Coaching model of listening.   The conclusions that we have come to are that job coachning is a modern profession where the coaches require more qualities than can be retrieved from an education. Job coaches are expected not only to have great industry insight, but they also need to possess personal characteristics in order to coach the jobseekers.

Enhancing user interactions with a music system for public displays : Identifying appropriate ways to personalize content and interactions with a shared music system in public places

Stenmark, Kevin January 2018 (has links)
This thesis investigates which type of user-related/-generated, personal, information is appropriate to share on an interactive public display in a public environment, e.g., user’s names and images, as a mean to enhance interactions with public display applications. This investigation is two-fold, how the content on the public display could be personalized and how interactions with the application can be emphasized. As a specific case of a public display application, an interactive shared music system with a collaborative playlist is chosen. A survey with static prototypes was created and sent out to identify which information users find appropriate sharing, regarding privacy and xyz, but also what information they feel interesting sharing. 47 participants answered the survey and the results informed an iterative design process that generated a series of static and four interactive prototypes. Four groups with three participants in each (third group with only two) were used to discuss the interactive prototypes highlighting the implemented features. In a focus group style setting, the participants were asked various questions for each of the four prototypes addressing this and that. During the sessions, notes were taken, and it was also audio recorded. All the data from all groups were analyzed and then also compared between the four groups. The result showed that people are ok with sharing their username and first name. The content on the music system can be personalized with pop-up notifications which show information about user’s choices, what song do they vote for or what song do they add to the playlist. Furthermore, the new features indicated a positive effect.

Nordmark, Colin, Gordon, Linus January 2022 (has links)
VR is a growing medium but also a medium that has great potential to expand our capacity as humans. There are various design examples in the field of what the interfaces should look like, but in our opinion these interfaces do not fully utilize the potential of the medium. In this article, we use Affordances and an anthropological angle to find new interactions in VR. Can we allow the user to interact with online content and does that increase the ability for personalization? We have based our assessment and our framework on observations of real-life interactions and the interactions that VR affords according to workers in the field and its users. We have done a series of works around hand tracking, contextual interactions, web content and customization of the virtual space. The prototypes we have developed have been put together in a design that seeks to reproduce a home environment for VR, i.e. the environment you see when you start your headset and the equivalent of the Windows desktop.

Validation préclinique d'un test de prédiction d'efficacité de médicaments anti-cancéreux : application au glioblastome, cancer colorectal et cancer de la prostate / Prediction of cancer drug efficacy using a tumor specific ranking procedure of therapeutic targets : preclinical validation in glioblastoma, colorectal and prostate cancer models

Fritz, Justine 26 September 2016 (has links)
We developed a new tool for prediction of cancer treatment efficacy. Our process is based on the determination of the molecular signature which is intended to provide a clinician’s decision tool helping to select which tumor signaling pathway(s) has/have to be targeted for best therapeutic effect. This signature representing a scoring obtained by RT-qPCR through a sequential normalization process of the expression level of target genes in the tumor compared to cancer type-specific references. These genes were selected because of a good knowledge of related biological functions, a correlation between expression level and aggressiveness of the tumor, the existence of a therapeutic arsenal already in clinical use. This signature is validated in a preclinical model of colorectal cancer and prostate cancer and glioblastoma. The results obtained show that the test we developed allows to identify the most important signaling pathway implicated in the disease and to choose the best drug.
