Thesis entitled Diagnosis of children with different mother tongue in preschool age deals with the issue of diagnosis of children with different mother tongue in preschool age, specifically deals with approaches, methods and possibilities of diagnosing children with different mother tongue in preschool age. Thesis focuses on the diagnosis of the development of a child of preschool age, outlines the diagnosis of a child in kindergarten, and especially describes and charts the methods and procedures for diagnosing these children in pedagogical-psychological counseling. The aim of this thesis is to clarify these issues, describe the legislative basis for the education and support of children with different mother tongue in preschool age and the specifics of these children. The aim of the empirical part is to chart the process of diagnosing children with different mother tongue in preschool age by workers of pedagogical-psychological counseling in the capital city of Prague using semi- structured interviews. Diploma thesis "Služby péče o předškolní děti v České republice jako nástroj úspěšného slaďování práce a rodiny" evaluates the current system of pre-school childcare services in the Czech Republic as a tool for a successful reconciling work and family and tries to recommend particular steps that would contribute to improve the functioning of the system in the future. Within the current system evaluation, on the one hand, the aspects, which contribute to the functionality of the system were identified, but on the other hand, some of the deficiencies which may limit the functionality of the system were detected. Afterwards, the study devoted to the shortcomings in detail and to detecting their causes, which allow to think about the next steps in the future. To develop a new conception of family policy with the aim of removing shortcomings of the current system is presented as the main recommendations for the future. When working on a new concept, a discussion among all the actors who play the role in the current system of pre- school childcare services should take place, the recommendations of supra- national and international bodies and non-profit organizations should be taken into account and inspiration for specific measures should be taken from examples of good practice from abroad.

Fonomix, en multisensorisk läsinlärningsmetod : En undersökning om hur några lärare ser på användandet av Fonomix i förskoleklass / Fonomix, a multi sensory method : A study of how teachers percieve the use of Fonomix in preschool classes

The aim of this study is two-fold, firstly to ascertain whether teachers consider that the Fonomix method (a Swedish phonological training programme with articulation) contributes to an improved pupil learning and, secondly, whether pupils who have been taught using the Fonomix method find decoding easier in their first year at school. The study’s methodology consists of qualitative interviews with teachers who have experience of the Fonomix method. The interviews were carried out at two different schools within the same municipality. The study shows that the teachers interviewed agreed that the Fonomix method benefits many of the pupils in a class. The teachers also considered that the pupils starting year one were advanced as regards their knowledge of letters and words thanks to the teaching they had received during their preschool class using the Fonomix method. This is due to the phonetic teaching being multi-sensory and varied which facilitates learning for a greater number of pupils. The Fonomix articulation method provides extensive teaching material which can easily be varied and adapted to suit the pupils and consolidate learning. / Fonomix-Munmetoden är en metod som kan användas när barn ska lära sig läsa. Metoden är multisensorisk och bygger på den fonologiska medvetenheten, det vill säga kopplingen mellan språkljud och bokstäver. Syftet med denna undersökning är att få mer kunskap om ifall lärare anser Fonomix- Munmetoden bidrar till ökat lärande hos fler elever samt om lärare anser att elever som undervisats med Fonomix i förskoleklassen knäcker avkodningen lättare i årskurs 1 än de elever som inte arbetat med Fonomix i förskoleklassen. Undersökningen är byggd på kvalitativa intervjuer med lärare som har erfarenhet av Fonomix-Munmetoden. Intervjuerna har utförts på två olika skolor i samma kommun. Undersökningen visar att de lärare som intervjuats är eniga om att Fonomix-Munmetoden är en metod som gynnar fler elever i en klass. Det visar sig även att när eleverna börjar årkurs 1 har de kommit långt i sin bokstavskunskap tack vare undervisningen med Fonomix-Munmetoden i förskoleklass. Det är tack vare att träningen med den fonetiska medvetenheten sker multisensoriskt och varierat som gör att fler elever kan tillgodogöra sig kunskaperna. Fonomix-Munmetoden har ett gediget material som lätt kan varieras och anpassas efter eleverna. Detta gör att de på olika sätt kan träna in samma bokstav och språkljud.

Dissertation deal about integration poetry with locomotion in kinderkarten. I investigate measure of interest the children about poetry and integration poetry with locomotion. I suppose, the children will be prefer the integration of activities because of congenital needed and komplex perceive. I engage charakteristic of poetry and locomotion, relation the children to poetry and importance poetry and locomotion for children. I implement the exploration in Prague 1 with twenty children. They are five years old. The method of exploration is observation and experiment. The exploration remain ten days. I investigace measure of interest about poetry and integration poetry with locomotion. I discovered, that I connect poetry and locomotion, the measure of interest increase to sewenteen percent. Thanks to, the children love poetry and get to poetry deap emotional relation. Integration poetry and locomotion attend to harmonious development of personality. I think, that it ensure the best start for life.

It presents hypothesis on genesis and establishing certain practice, using the tools of case study. Its integral part is to offer the participant a relatively wider conception of Visual Arts Education. The text is divided into two parts. The first part is concerned with teoretical findings, it consists of propositions of the whole thesis, which are: the current and older conceptions of Visual Arts Education for pre-school and the elementary level. Grounding Visual Arts Education as specific area of education, which can be found in RVP PV. The second part consists of data accumulated and analyzed through hybrid approach using the tools of action research and case study. SUMMARY: The theoretical part outlines the historical and contemporary ideas about development of sensory sensibility of preschool age children, reflected in the Art Education and creation. Another part of labour deals with the probe to methodology of sensory education, explanation of the term, familiarization with the significance, and potential to settings the targets of preschool education. The last section of theoretical part is dedicated to possible frameworks of interdisciplinary contextures based on the children's aesthetic interactions with the living nature appointed in the Education programme framework for preschool education (RVP PV). The empirical part deals with the qualitative research of teaching activities of colleague from the discipline Teaching for kindergarten and their possibilities and the experience with the development of sensory sensibility and inclusion of this practice to tuition of Art Education. (english): In the theoretical part, I deal primary with defining the concepts of doll production and it is history first in a global context and than specifically in the Czech Republic. I also cover historic all production technques by artisans, the revival of there traditional technques as well as various doll produstion techniques. I highlight some of today's craftsmen as well as their personal stories about getting started in the handmade doll production. Next, I delve into rules and guidelines for doll production as well as doll selection by the consumer. A the end of theoretical part, I deal with the different types of gameplay with dolls along wth gender aspect. The first part of the project deals with the relationship between the person hand making the doll and the doll itself. It also includes a small making project with childern. The second part is the project goes over a collection of dolls I have handmade in the last three years divided according to production technique and further subdivided need on material, labor and suitable age. The third part is the research, Which has determine whether the observation of the making process of dolls can influence the kids. This Diploma Thesis focuses on comparison of organisational culture in state-controlled, commercial and non-profit organisations in the area of pre-school education. It is based on the Competing Values Framework developed by Cameron and Quinn, according to whom there are four types of organisational culture. The goal of this Thesis is to identify and describe the culture types in organisations in the above-mentioned three sectors, and to subsequently compare these types so that their similarities and differences can be revealed. The chosen method of research is a case study; the data was collected by a questionnaire survey among employees and by analysis of documents used in the organisations. My research has indicated that the organisational culture in the three sectors is similar in certain elements, but different in others. An established similarity is the presence of the clan culture, which is a friendly and informal working environment. Regarding the differences, the culture is more bureaucratic and hierarchic in a state-controlled organisation, while more dynamic and focused on innovations in commercial and non-profit ones.

Předškolní schopnosti: Evropská srovnávací studie / Pre-school abilities: European comparative study

Pre-school education improves cognitive and non-cognitive skills of children, and the positive effects persist to adulthood. The literature provides rich ev- idence of beneficial effects of pre-school, some of them even causal. However, most studies come from the US, and the research lacks a comprehensive pic- ture of European countries concerning pre-school education. I contribute to the research by providing a comparison of European countries regarding pre- school attendance, pre-school skills, and test scores in fourth grade. In Section ??, I focus on the Czech Republic. The results show that more educated moth- ers are more likely to send children to pre-school. In most countries, children with stronger pre-school skills achieve higher results on standardized tests in fourth grade, which supports the idea of the existence of the Matthew effect. In the Czech Republic, pre-school attendance may increase fourth-grade test scores by 0.3 SD. The most important pre-school skill is the ability to read, which is associated with an increase in fourth-grade math achievement of 0.2 SD. The results contribute to the literature on pre-school education in Eu- rope; however, they should not be interpreted causally, as they are essentially a description of the pre-school context in Europe. 1

Energieffektivisering, en utvärdering : Undersökning och analys av energieffektivisering på Erikslunds förskola

This report regards evaluating the energy and indoor climate of a pre-school located in Erikslund, Sweden which has undergone several measurers to achieve lower energy usage. The project was done on the orders of the governing municipality of Västerås and tasked to a consulting company for simulating the effects of performing these measures for lowering energy need. The municipal has together with the parliament sat goals to reach in 2020 to reduce the total energy usage by 20 %. The project had earlier installed a total of seven measures (such as new air handling unit, new lightings, adding ceiling insulation) related to energy efficiency was implemented and some ancillary construction of ventilation room. The main purposes for the study are first to analyze the energy and economical calculations and estimations done by the consulting company for the pre-school in the project stage. Then an energy mapping was done by this study to compare the earlier calculations for both the energy and economical part. The results are compared with the real values of both energy and economically data handed by Västerås stad. The theoretically energy usage calculated by the consulting company was before the measures 178 MWh/year to 65 MWh/year after. The energy mapping of this report shows before the measures 216 MWh/year to 108 MWh/year after. To compare with the real energy usage that before was 200 MWh/year, and 113,5 MWh/year after. The total cost of the project summed up to approximately $311K, which is 40 % higher than first estimated by the consulting company. The climate impact of the greenhouse gas CO2 was reduced with 12 ton yearly. Due to complications in the energy follow-up for both heat and electricity there is in the appendix attach instructional guide for Västerås stad to use in future projects regarding energy efficiencies but also evaluating the measures impact on the overall energy usage of the pre-school. The produced guide holds information regarding necessary “setup” for each type of energy efficiency measure making it possible for future evaluation (via measured data). / Denna rapport berör en undersökning av Erikslunds förskola, där syftet är att sammanställa data från flera energieffektiviserande åtgärder som har utförts under projektledning av Västerås stad. Med denna data ska det klargöras om hur väl den projekterade energieffektiviseringen stämmer överens mot den verkliga. Det utfördes även en energikartläggning för förskolan för att jämföra mot. Förskolan är belägen i Erikslunds i Västerås och har genomgått totalt sju energieffektiviserande åtgärder samt en omfattande byggåtgärd. De energirelaterade åtgärder som utförts är, tilläggsisolering av kallvind, byte av ventilationssystem (till luftbehandlingsaggregat med roterande värmeväxlare), byte av styrsystem, byte till LED belysning, nya shuntar och cirkulationspumpar, injustering av värme samt varmvattenbesparande åtgärder (perlatorer). En omfattande investering av ventilationssystem med en beräknad energibesparing på ca 80 MWh/år. Analys av investeringen visade en energibesparing på endast 40 MWh under år 2015. I helhet gav åtgärderna en lägre energibesparing än det tidigare beräknade. Den totala energibesparingen var beräknat till ca 120 MWh/år men vid mätning och verifiering uppgick den till ca 60 MWh/år. Utöver energiprestanda undersöktes även det ekonomiska utfallet. Budgeterad investeringskostnaden var ca 1,9 Mkr medan den verkliga kostnaden uppgick till ca 2,6 Mkr. Detta innebar en kostnadsökning på 40 % för projektet. Inomhusklimatet och dess påverkan av energieffektiviserande åtgärder undersöks. Detta gjordes genom en enkätundersökning samt mätningar med temperatur, CO2 och RH (relativ fuktighet) mätloggar. Resultatet av enkätundersökningen visar att det är delade åsikter, men överlag tycker personalen att den har blivit bättre fast fortfarande dålig. Mätresultatet visar att den relativa fukthalten ligger kring det undre gränsvärdet, temperaturerna varierar mellan 18-23 grader och CO2 halten steg maximalt till 825 ppm och håller sig då under gränsvärdet. Det visade sig under projektets gång att projekteringen hade brister både i planering och beräkningar. Det fattades även nödvändiga mätdata för utvärdering av energiprestanda. Slutsatsen blev att investeringarna ej är lönsamma och för att undvika detta i framtida projekt utarbetades en instruktion med tillhörande checklista som finns bifogat under bilagor. Västerås stad kan använda den i framtiden för att undvika att missa viktiga delar som behövs för framtida verifieringar av energiprestanda. Rapporten har i litteraturstudien undersökt redan framtagna guider med checklistor till exempelvis SVEBYS energiavtal 12 som handlar om att i energieffektiviseringsprojekt strukturera upp och öka kvalitén dels för att minska skillnaden mellan projekterad och verkligt utfall, dels för att undvika missar i planeringen. Det har även undersökts liknande energieffektiviseringsprojekt där uppföljning utförts vilket visar att det ofta blir en skillnad mellan projekterad energisimulering samt verkligt utfall, det finns exempel både på när det blir bättre och sämre samt vad det beror på.
