Hur påverkas kvinnors sexuella hälsa vid depression och ångest? / How is women’s sexual health affected by depression and anxiety?

Bakgrund: Sexuell hälsa utgörs av fysiskt, känslomässigt, psykiskt och socialt välbefinnande. Sjuksköterskan har som uppdrag att främja sexuell hälsa. Depression och ångest är faktorer som kan påverka kvinnors sexuella hälsa. Syftet: Syftet var att beskriva hur sexuell hälsa påverkas hos kvinnor med depression och ångestsyndrom. Metod: Litteraturöversikt med mixad metod användes. Eftersom syftet var förutsättningslöst utfördes studien med induktiv ansats. Till resultatet användes 14 artiklar som granskades, analyserades och presenterades med huvudkategorier och underkategorier. Artiklarna hämtades från tre databaser; Pubmed, Cinahl och psycINFO och genom manuell sökning. Resultat: Huvudfynd i litteraturöversikten utgjordes av fysiska förändringar i form av lägre sexuell tillfredställelse, lust, orgasm och upphetsning. Huvudfynd bestod även av ett påverkat känsloliv och påverkad relationen med partnern. Slutsats: Resultatet visar att kvinnor kan ha lägre sexuell funktion vid depression och ångest. Både fysiska och psykosociala faktorer påverkas hos kvinnorna där några av faktorerna är tillfredsställelse och lust. En viktig del i personcentrerad omvårdnad är ömsesidig respekt för varandras kunskap. / Background: Sexual health consists of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being. The nurse has the task of promoting sexual health. Depression and anxiety are factors that can affect women’s sexual health. Aim: The aim was to describe how sexual health affects in women with depression and anxiety syndrome. Method: Mixed literature review was used. Since the purpose was unconditional, the study was performed with an inductive approach. Where 14 articles were used that have been reviewed, analyzed and presented with main categories and subcategories. The articles were retrieved from three databases: Pubmed, Cinahl and psycINFO and by manual search. Results: The main findings in the literature review consisted of physical changes in form of lower sexual satisfaction, desire, orgasm and arousal. The main findings also consisted of an affected emotional life and an affected relationship with the partner. Conclusion: The results show that woman have lower sexual function in depression and anxiety. Both physical and psychosocial factors are affected in women, where some of the factors are satisfaction and desire. An important part in person-centered care is mutual respect for each other´s knowledge.

Social capital, psychosomatic symptoms and stress among adolescents : A quantitative study exploring relationships between social capital, psychosomatic symptoms and stress among adolescents in Västmanland

Over the past decade mental health problems among adolescents in Sweden has increased. Psychosomatic symptoms and stress accounts for a large proportion of the disease burden. Social capital is a social resource that can strengthen the individual’s well-being. The aim of the study is to examine if social capital is related to psychosomatic symptoms and stress, as well as if there are gender differences in social capital, psychosomatic symptoms and stress among adolescents. A quantitative method was chosen, and the study used secondary data from Survey of Adolescent Life in Västmanland 2012, which had a cross-sectional design. Statistical analyses were carried out to answer the aim of the study. There was 87% of the adolescents that reported high levels of social capital, whereas 72% reported high levels of psychosomatic symptoms and 65% felt stressed. There was a statistically significant negative relationship between social capital and psychosomatic symptoms, also a relationship between social capital and stress. Boys reported higher levels of social capital than girls. Girls reported higher levels of psychosomatic symptoms and felt stressed compared to boys. The results were consistent with previous research regarding psychosomatic symptoms and stress, where girls were affected to a greater extent than boys.

The aim of the diploma thesis is analysis of the Czechoslovak newsreel of 1961. In the quantitative method, reports are sorted by the codebook into thematic groups. There are following variables: soft x hard news; domestic x foreign news; culture x politics x economy x sport x disaster x rest. As a result of this method we can find out which news were preferred (agenda-setting) and bated (gate-keeping). In the qualitative method author is analysing foreign reports chosen by quantitative method. Psychosocial aspects of living with congenital heart disease : child, family, and professional perspectives

Background: The vast majority of infants born with congenital heart disease (CHD) reach adulthood because of the developments in cardiology in recent decades. This thesis aims to describe the psychosocial situation of child/adolescent cardiac patients and their families, investigate the situation faced by parents and siblings initially and over time, investigate the approaches paediatric cardiologists use in encountering the family, and describe the teamwork occurring in paediatric cardiology teams (PCTs) in Sweden. Theoretical framework: The theoretical framework was based on a quality of life model applied to children, a stress-coping model, and a psychosocial approach including support, profession, and teamwork. Methods: The research combines quantitative data collection/analysis and qualitative research interviews/content analysis. Results: Complexity: The three grades of medical complexity differed regarding the number and severity of psychosocial symptoms, the children with the most complex CHD having the most severe symptoms. The most frequent symptoms in the whole patient group regarding various spheres were: healthcare and treatment-related needs in the external sphere, family symptoms in the interpersonal sphere, and mental/psychosomatic symptoms in the personal sphere. Coping: Being informed of a child’s/sibling’s heart disease has emotional consequences, so information, communication, and support are essential. Breaking the news of a child’s disease can be described as a turning point still significant after ten years. The professionalism of the doctor’s approach in breaking the news is crucial. Profession: Among paediatric cardiologists, how to break bad news to a family is an important concern, evident in findings regarding the significance of trust and confidence and the use of various emotional positions. Paediatric cardiologists commonly wish to be skilled at handling this situation, and attaining the needed skills calls for reflection, education, and sharing experience. Team: PCTs in Sweden aim and try to work in a structured way. In PCTs, there is a need for leadership, resource coordination, coaching, and a forum for joint reflection. Dependence on the physician on the team was identified in all PCTs. The challenge of managing increasing complexity at both the family and system levels requires interprofessional teams. Conclusions: These studies illustrate the psychosocial complexity and the need of psychosocial support. Emotional consequences, communication, information and support are essential both for the children, parents/families and for the professionals. To manage this complexity organizational alteration action plans are required. There is a need for a forum to stimulate dialogue and common reflection in the local PCT and at the regional and national centres.

Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Erweiterung der für dicke Proben schon mit Erfolg eingesetzten Werkstoffanalytischen Methode Elektronenstrahl-Mikroanalyse (ESMA) mittels Peak/Untergrund-Verhältnissen auf die Analyse von dünnen Schichten (unter 1 μm) zur qualitative und quantitativen Elementanalyse sowie zur Ermittlung von Schichtdicken. Weiterhin wird auf der Basis von einer ESMA-Methode für zwei dünne Schichten auf einem Substrat wird ein Modell zur Ermittlung des Phasenwachstumskoeffizienten für eine intermetallische Phase die sich bei der Diffusion zwischen einer dünnen Schicht und einem Substrat bildet, mittels ESMA-Messungen bei gleichzeitiger Erwärmung der Probe dargestellt. / The paper deals with the application of the materials analysis method EPMA by peak-to-background ratios, which is currently being used for the analysis of thick samples successfully, to thin layers (less than 1 μm) for the quantitative element analysis as well as for thickness prediction. In addition a model has been established on the Basis of an EPMA method for two films on a substrate for deriving the phase growth coefficient of an inter-metallic phase which grows during the diffusion between a thin layer and a substrate from EPMA measurements while simultaneously heating the sample.

The impact of digital online-based learning on students during Covid-19 / Påverkan av digitalt nätbaserat lärande för studenter under Covid-19

The sudden transition to distance education due to the Covid-19 outbreak was a significant change in the standard of education at many universities. This thesis studies the impact of distance and online-based learning on second- and third-year students within the Computer Science Engineering program at Malmö University in Sweden during the autumn and spring semesters 2020. The data were collected through a questionnaire and interviews as well as Ladok. The results indicated that students’ attendance, participation, motivation, engagement, and interactions with their teachers or classmates were negatively affected by distance and online-based learning. However, the results of the educational outcome differed as the grades of second-year students were negatively affected while the grades of third-year students were unaffected. To improve the specific digital tools/platforms used, teachers and students had suggestions such as using tools with a chat function, recording all lectures, and sending notifications of new material in Canvas to students. To improve the overall experience of distance and online-based education, teachers and students suggested changes such as introducing more interactive elements, planning small-group activities or discussions via Zoom, and providing blended physical/online lectures and labs. / Den plötsliga övergången till distansutbildning på grund av Covid-19 utbrottet var en betydande förändring av utbildnings standarden vid många universitet. Denna avhandling studerar distans och nätbaserat lärandes inverkan på andra- och tredjeårsstudenter inom datavetenskap programmet vid Malmö universitet i Sverige under höst- och vårterminerna 2020. Uppgifterna samlades in genom enkät och intervjuer också från Ladok. Resultaten indikerade att elevernas närvaro, deltagande, motivation, engagemang och interaktioner med sina lärare eller klasskamrater påverkades negativt av distans och nätbaserat lärande. Resultaten av betyg skiljde sig emellertid eftersom betygen för andraårsstudenter påverkades negativt medan betygen för tredjeårsstudenterna var opåverkade. För att förbättra de specifika digitala verktyg/plattformar som använts hade lärare och studenter förslag såsom att använda verktyg med en chattfunktion, spela in alla föreläsningar och skicka meddelanden om nytt material i Canvas till studenter. För att förbättra den övergripande upplevelsen av distans och nätbaserad utbildning, föreslog lärare och studenter förändringar såsom att införa mer interaktiva element, planera små grupper eller diskussioner via Zoom och tillhandahålla blandade fysiska/online föreläsningar och labb.

Arbetsplatsbaserade insatser för fysisk aktivitet : En kvantitativ studie om deltagande och delaktighet i planeringen av insatser för fysisk aktivitet bland kommunanställda

Bakgrund: hälsan påverkas av exempelvis arbetsvillkor och individuella levnadsvanor. Fysisk aktivitet främjar fysisk- och psykisk hälsa och fysisk inaktivitet orsakar både fysisk- och psykisk ohälsa. Deltagandet i arbetsplatsbaserade insatser för fysisk aktivitet varierar och delaktighet ses främja deltagande. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur arbetsplatsbaserade insatser för fysisk aktivitets utformning påverkar sannolikheten för medarbetares deltagande samt om det fanns ett samband mellan deltagande och delaktighet i planering av arbetsplatsbaserade insatser för fysisk aktivitet. Metod: en kvantitativ studie med deduktivt angreppssätt genom tvärsnittsdesign har genomförts bland medarbetare i Strängnäs kommun. Urvalet bestod av 71 medarbetare. Sambandet analyserades genom Spearman’s rangkorrelation. Resultat: mindre än hälften av respondenterna har deltagit i insatser. Majoriteten av respondenterna kommer sannolikt delta om aktiviteterna genomförs på arbetstid och delaktighet erbjuds. Resultatet visade ett statistiskt signifikant starkt positivt samband mellan deltagande och delaktighet i planeringen av arbetsplatsbaserade insatser för fysisk aktivitet. Slutsats: majoriteten av respondenterna kommer sannolikt delta om insatsen genomförs på arbetstid, motionsformen är valfri och sker valfri tid. Respondenter som deltar i insatser för fysisk aktivitet ges möjlighet till delaktighet i utformningen. / Background: health is affected by determinants, for example working conditions and individual living habits. Physical activity promotes both physical- and mental health at the same time as physical inactivity causes both physical- and mental illness. Participation in workplace-based interventions for physical activity varies and participation is seen to promote participation in interventions. Aim: the aim of the study was to investigate how workplace-based interventions for physical activity design affect the probability of employees’ participation and whether there was a connection between participation in interventions and participation in the planning of workplace-based interventions for physical activity. Method: a quantitative study with a deductive approach through cross-sectional design has been conducted among employees is Strängnäs municipality. The sample consisted of 71 employees. The relationship was analyzed through Spearman’s rho. Result: less than half of the respondents had participated in any interventions, mostly due to not knowing they existed. Most respondents would probably have participated if the interventions were carried out during working hours and if participation in planning was offered. Furthermore, the result showed a statistic significant strong positive connection between participation in interventions and participation in planning. Conclusion: most of the respondents would probably participate if the intervention were carried out during working hours, type of exercise is optional and takes place at any time. There is a statistic significant strong positive connection between participation in interventions and participation in the planning of workplace-based interventions for physical activity.

UNGDOMAR & PSYKISK HÄLSA : En kvantitativ studie om socialt stöd, psykiskt välbefinnande och stress bland gymnasieungdomar i mellersta Sverige

Den psykiska hälsan har haft en negativ utveckling och sedan coronapandemin har den försämrats ytterligare, även bland ungdomar. Trots att den psykiska hälsan i allmänhet är god så uppger många ungdomar att de mår dåligt. Den psykiska hälsan påverkar såväl individen som samhällsutvecklingen. Bland ungdomar påverkar den psykiska hälsan skolprestationen och skoltrivsel, något som påverkar ungdomarnas framtidsmöjligheter. Det sociala stödet anses vara en skyddande faktor för ungdomars psykiska hälsa. Syftet med studien var att undersöka socialt stöd, psykiskt välbefinnande och stress bland gymnasieungdomar i mellersta Sverige och studera om det föreligger samband mellan dessa. Totalt 120 gymnasieungdomar deltog i en kvantitativ tvärsnittsstudie. Datainsamling bestod av en enkätundersökning. Resultatet analyserades med Spearman’s rangkorrelationsanalys. Resultatet visar att det finns ett positivt samband mellan socialt stöd och psykiskt välbefinnande. Vidare visar resultatet på ett svagt negativt samband mellan socialt stöd och stress. Sammanfattningsvis, det föreligger ett samband mellan socialt stöd, psykiskt välbefinnande och stress. Sambandet är starkare mellan socialt stöd och psykiskt välbefinnande än mellan socialt stöd och stress. Detta indikerar på att det finns andra faktorer som har starkare samband med ungdomarnas stressnivå, men att det sociala stödet är betydelsefullt för den psykiska hälsan. / Mental health has had a negative development and since the corona pandemic it has deteriorated further, also among young people. Although mental health is generally good, many adolescents state that they don’t feel good. Mental health affects both the individual and the development of society. Among adolescents, mental health affects school performance and enjoyment of school, something that affects young people's future opportunities. Social support is considered a protective factor for adolescents’ mental health. The purpose of the study was to investigate social support, psychological well-being, and stress among upper secondary school students in middle Sweden and to study whether there is a correlation between these. A total of 120 upper secondary school students participated in a quantitative cross-sectional study. Data collection consisted of a questionnaire survey. The result was analyzed with Spearman's rank correlation analysis. The results show that there is a positive relationship between social support and psychological well-being. Furthermore, the results show a weak negative relationship between social support and perceived stress. In conclusion, there is a relationship between social support, psychological well-being, and stress. The relationship is stronger between social support and psychological well-being than between social support and stress. This indicates that there are other factors that have a stronger connection with adolescents’ stress experience, but that social support is important for mental health.

Данное исследование уникально тем, что впервые мы получим ответ на вопрос, насколько история русской философии востребована современными пользователями Интернета. / The subject of the master's thesis is «history of Russian philosophy in the information environment», in within the was conducted research using a quantitative method of data collection in the information environment of Internet resources. The purpose of the research is to find out the popularity of the history of Russian philosophy among Internet users. The study consists of two parts, the first part includes a theoretical description of the information environment. Java Unit Testing with AI: An AI-Driven Prototype for Unit Test Generation / Enhetstestning i Java med hjälp av AI: En AI-baserad prototyp för generering av enhetstester

In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has become increasingly popular. An area where AI technology is used and has received much attention during the past year is chatbots. They can simulate an understanding of human language and form text responses to questions asked. Apart from generating text responses, they can also generate programming code, making them useful for tasks such as testing. Although testing is considered a crucial part of software development, many find it tedious and time-consuming. There are currently limited AI-powered tools for generating unit tests in general and even fewer for the programming language Java. The thesis tackles the problem of the lack of tools for generating unit tests in Java that explore the capabilities of AI, and a research question is introduced thereafter. The purpose of this thesis is to address the issue by creating a prototype for generating unit tests in Java based on the AI model, GPT-3.5-Turbo. The goal is to provide a basis for other professionals to create tools for generating unit tests, which was done by experimenting with different prompts and values of a randomness parameter and then suggesting the prototype JUTAI. A quantitative research method with an experimental and comparative approach was used to evaluate the results. A comparison model with three criteria was brought forward to evaluate the results. The findings reveal that JUTAI outperformed the general-purpose AI tool, ChatGPT, across all three criteria and indicate that the goal of this thesis is achieved and the research question answered. / Intresset för artificiell intelligens (AI) har ökat de senaste åren. Ett område där AI- teknologi används och som har fått mycket uppmärksamhet under det senaste året är chattbottar. De kan simulera en förståelse för mänskligt språk och svara på frågor i textformat. Utöver det kan de även generera programkod. Tack vare förmågan att generera kod kan de användas för testning. Även om testning anses vara en viktig del av mjukvaruutveckling, tycker många att det är tråkigt och tidskrävande. För närvarande finns det ett begränsat antal verktyg som kan generera enhetstester, och det finns ännu färre verktyg som kan göra detta i Java. Detta examensarbete tog sig an problemet med bristen på AI-verktyg för enhetstestning i Java genom att besvara på forskningsfrågan som ställdes. Syftet med examensarbetet är att föreslå en lösning på problemet genom att utveckla en prototyp som använder sig av AI- modellen GPT-3.5-Turbo för att generera enhetstester i Java. Målet är att ge en grund för andra yrkesverksamma att skapa verktyg för att generera enhetstester, vilket gjordes genom att experimentera med olika instruktionstrukturer och värden för en slumpmässighetsparameter, och sedan föreslå protypen JUTAI. En kvantitativ forskningsmetod tillsammans med en experimentell och jämförande ansats användes för att utvärdera resultaten. En jämförelsemodell med tre kriterier togs fram för att utvärdera resultaten. Resultaten visar att JUTAI presterade bättre än AI-verktyget ChatGPT i de tre kriterierna och indikerar att målet med detta examensarbete uppnåddes och forskningsfrågan besvarades.
