Svensk Form : En studie om hur föreningen Svensk Form styrs i bakgrund av regeringens uppdrag och föreningens målAydin, Rojin, Refai, Sofia January 2008 (has links)
<p>Swedish design is known all over the world and is seen in national as well as in international arenas. There is only one design organization in Sweden that has the task to represent Swedish design in public. The organization is Swedish Form and it is the oldest design organization in the world. It has a huge influence in our society, within design and form. In the end of 1990 the association received its first government assignment, which still continues. A large part of this assignment involves being a venue to form and design in addition to distributing knowledge about these to the public. How is an association like this, that has a government assignment and has to follow the association prescription with a responsibility to its members, being ruled? Swedish Form is an association with thousands of members that are an important part of the association’s activity. The members and the government are two considerable parts of Swedish Form that in various ways controls and gives directives to the association. How much space is given to Swedish Form by the government to control the activity by itself, and which directives do they have to follow? These are questions that will be clarified in this study, which is about how Swedish Form is ruled by the government’s demand and the association’s aim.</p>

Den svenska regeringens syn på medie- och informationskunnighet (MIK), 2018–2022, och dess inverkan på biblioteksvärlden : en policydokumentanalys / The Swedish Government's Understanding of Media and Information Literacy (MIL), 2018–2022, and its Impact on the Library Sector : a Policy Document AnalysisCorso, Sebastian, Ljusberg, Tora January 2023 (has links)
Purpose: Our main task is to find out how the Swedish government deals with media and information literacy (MIL) among the general public, and which key actors it identifies in this process. More specifically we want to know whether public libraries are considered to be such key actors – which is the common view within library and information science (LIS). Method: This is a document study, applying Carol LeeBacchi's WPR approach, on a selection of Swedish government assignments published 2018–2022. Findings: From earlier looking at digitalization in positive connotations, today the Swedish government talks more alarmistically about the dangers of digitalization and attributes MIL as a safeguard and as a means in the protection of democracy, leading to the presence of MIL in practically all of the governmental offices. Major joint investments are emphasized to achieve high MIL. But due to the shifting and situation-dependent understanding of the MIL concept, the results of the investments run the risk of being ineffective. In 2019 the government therefore assigned The Swedish Media Council (Statens medieråd) to coordinate the promotion of MIL. As for the apparent urgency of MIL issues in our research material, LIS and the public libraries extensive MIL expertise should be taken into account. How the Swedish Media Council perceives the library field's competence within MIL can have a major impact on public libraries' future promotion of MIL. The result raises the question of how the library field can mediate its solid knowledge of MIL to the outside world.

Den Frivilliga återvandringen i Sverige, en studie baserad på intervjuer.Domachowska, Joanna, Grönlund, Rebecca January 2010 (has links)
What is the government mandate <em>Voluntary repatriation</em> about? That was the question we asked ourselves during the report's time. Using a qualitative approach in the form of semi-structured interviews was the hope to understand the Government mission and its purpose in Swedish society. Through concepts such as segregation, stigmatization, rationality, solidarity and the relational and punctuate perspectives we have gained an appreciation for the immigrant's problem of adaptation in Swedish society, in which we can experience problems when immigrants have difficulty getting the support he needs to take a decision on issues that remain or repatriate. We have also chosen to deal with Foucault's concept of the disciplining power of the State and society complicates the decision immigrant faces. In this way, it was shown that the immigrant repatriation concerns with living in a complex situation where both societies makes it difficult and that his thoughts are not legitimate, and that the government mandate is added as a pre-taking that decision regardless of what decision then becomes, to stay or return.</p>
