The influence of customer satisfactory in drug manufacturers- A study of H Company

Tsai, Sung-chou 07 August 2008 (has links)
Drug-manufacture field can be broadly defined as one of biology industries, its strength or weakness is certainly close to people¡¦s daily lives. Even through the market size is slightly related to global markget in drug manufacturing, its development is closely related to domestically whole biology industry. Hence, the drug manufacture field in Taiwan was targeted in this thesis, and subjected to customer satisfactory as the reference for further upgrading and promoting. Besides, I have been inheriting my family company for servral years, so hope to understand the factors which affect on customer satisfactory where are beneficial for future operation through this research. The primary data were collected with questionnaires which were delivered to the customers of H Company. They are divided into 3 areas (northern, middle & southern of Taiwan), and five drugstores were chosen in each area. 150 copies were scheduled to be delivered, however, 251 effective copies were returned back (return rate is 87.75%). After independent T test, Chi-test and ANOVA, we conclude as followed, First, in the aspects of the results of factors among top 5 products, only both resident area and educational background can influence on comsumption of different products. Different products can be delivered based on different area to rise up the revenue amounts. Second, of aspects of product repurchasement, gender, resident area and educational background, the three factors will influence on times of product purchasement. Third, likewise, only both resident area and educational background can influence on different channels.Relatively speaking, most of customers are introduced by broadcasting in Middle-southern of Taiwan, and the percentages of poor-educated people are higher among them. Forth, of aspects of the affective factors of customer satisfactory, only resident area resulted in diversifications in customer satisfactory. To be further analyzed, north and middle customers do not differ, but the south of customer satisfactory is significantly higher than the former. Those cutomer satisfactories are independent among different products and channels after ANOVA analysis.

The worldwide economical attacked Taiwan systematic fabricate Property improvement the competitiveness strategic

Chang, Chi-Min 20 June 2002 (has links)
Stepping in the 21st century, global marketing and the economy growth of the Third World Countries have become very competitive in term of costs and have affected both the economy and industry in Taiwan. where the unemployment increase and becomes a politic issue. Taiwan¡¦s Executive Yuan has launched the economy development project since October 2000 to develop the knowledge base industry and it is agreed and supported by elite from industry, government and also education field. ¡§Develop intelligent economy and move for global business¡¨ has been listed as a first objective among 5 main objectives which was set by the cabinet meeting. However, there are different opinions to the goal of ¡§strengthening the core business competitiveness by implementing global marketing strategy¡¨. Core business competition is immeasurable but important to manufacturing industry. Normally Taiwan¡¦s entrepreneur will calculate the return of investment by gaining profit through lower product cost and large volume selling. But such strategy need to be further examined when the surrounding competitive countries have chasing from behind through technology development and better manufacturing capability. New business model, structure and industrial competitive strategy needed to be developed in order to recover from the business crisis, which faced by assembly industry. We need to find out an efficient business structure and core competitive strategy. It will be more helpful and effective by learning the successful experience from the well-known industry and sharing the findings within the assembly industry. Base on analyzing results and combining with the theories of ¡§ smiling curve ¡¨ and ¡§ New business model ¡¨ , we can make the production line more systematic and then upgrade the assembly industry¡¦s competitive advantage¡Aaccording to this study the successful models have been listed as follows: 1) To improve the product design technology , high tech manufacturing technology speed up the world wide customer service , we must upgrade the ¡§ smile curve ¡¨ to left to increase the extra value .Combine ¡§ core strategy ¡¨ and ¡§ customer interface ¡¨ , to achieve the ¡§Customer benefit ¡¨ 2) To apply to ¡§ Variant strategy ¡¨ to secure the market position , product knowledge , quality improvement strategy , and produce the variable product for grab niches . We must upgrade the ¡§ smiling curve ¡¨ and combine with ¡§new business model¡¨ ¡§ core strategy ¡¨and ¡§strategic resources ¡¨ to construct the enterprise core competitiveness. 3) To Implement ¡§New economy¡¨ and ¡§ Knowledge economy model ¡¨ such as innovating new process capability and supply chain management to improve product quality to cut manufacturing cost and upgrade manufacturing competitiveness. We must upgrade ¡§ smile curve ¡¨ to center to increase the value ; combine business model ¡§ Value network ¡¨and ¡§ strategy resources ¡¨ to improve enterprise all model capability.

Community College Student Retention: Effectiveness of Online Intervention Methods in Retaining Students on Financial Aid Probation

Parker, Victor S 04 May 2018 (has links)
The role of community colleges is to provide educational opportunities to all segments of a population regardless of academic proficiency or economic ability. This openess admissions policy is meant to allow equal admission to academic and career-technical programs for all students. Due to openess admissions, economically disadvantaged community college students find themselves being admissible to community colleges with uncertain financial ability to pay for community college even though it is at a lower cost than 4-year institutions. Community college students historically face more financial and social barriers than 4-year students in attaining higher education and thus have a greater need for federal financial aid assistance. Students attending community colleges participate in federal grant-in-aid and student loan programs at a higher rate than any other type of institution. With this greater need for financial aid assistance, community college students are still held to the same federal financial aid academic standards. Students receiving federal financial aid must meet the same grade-point average, completion rate, and eligibility limit requirements as their university counterparts. These standards impact students at the community college level at an even higher rate than those at the university. The purpose of this study was to determine if students who do not meet federal financial aid academic standards and are placed on financial aid probation can be retained at the community college level using an online intervention course. The knowledge obtained from the course could facilitate the selection of optimal and cost-effective intervention strategies. Determination is necessary in order to eliminate current online intervention, adapt the intervention methods, or continue supporting intervention through allocating resources to the program that may allow for expansion and outcome inference to future student populations. This study specifically explored the retention of students who do not meet corresponding Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) indicators through the inclusion of an online intervention course. Student data were obtained from online course outcomes over multiple semesters from a community college in the Southern Region of the United States, yielding quantitative data for analysis. Educational opportunities tend to be viewed in a dramaturgical or symbolic perspective and viewed as successful based on student outcomes. It was assumed that student outcomes are tangible, and the link between means and ends are clear, meaning student outcome attainment equals employment and life success. In this instance, a return on investment study is not intended, but rather program effectiveness in influencing student outcomes. This program can be considered effective as it provides causation for increased performance, subsequent retention, and positive impact on financial aid status. The addition of an online intervention course supports causation linkage. It also supports the correlation of predicting post-semester cumulative grade point average (GPA), and the performance within the course provides inference to the participant’s future status.

Hu, Shu-Shan 11 August 2003 (has links)
In recent years, under internationalization, liberalization and competition from China, Taiwan has the urgent need of high quality of human resource and subsequently it makes the ¡§human¡¨ management more complicated. Therefore, medium & small companies faces another new challenge and human resource management has become a big brand of knowledge for nowadays industry operation and management. How to use minimum investment to earn maximum employee loyalty is a big challenge for future human resource management. In the scope of the human resource management, compensation management is key section, like improper compensation management will cause another compensation dispute and the rise of dispute will force industry to pay more attention on the employee¡¦s legal labor rights. Furthermore, poor handle of dispute, consequently if seriously, will cause the dispute between labor and capital, even slightly, will have negative impact on company overall morale, and furthermore, affect company human resource performance. This resource will have medium & small companies as resource targets and focus on probing the relationship between compensation system, labor condition and human resource performance. Followings are the major research results: 1.Technical based compensation system will have effect on the assignment achievement performance. 2.It will have positive effect on the employee salary satisfactory and work performance if medium & small companies offer subsidy for further education, uniform, meal, weddings and funerals allowance and Mid-Autumn festival bonus. 3.There are obvious relationships among different compensation types, compensation basis and conditional performance. 4.Medium & small companies offer for subsidy of further education, transportation, training, other bonuses and annual bonus or not will have significant differences on employee¡¦ salary satisfactory and work achievement performance. 5.Selecting different work hours per week, calculation basis of overtime (holiday) work pay, total annual vacation days given, calculation basis of special rest days will have significant differences on compensation basis, salary satisfactory and work achievement performance. 6.Different employee characteristics will have remarkable differences on compensation basis, employee leave tendency, salary satisfactory and work achievement performance.

A Study of the Consumer's Behavior on Purchasing Taiwan Salt Company's Cosmetics

Shih, Gin-San 22 August 2003 (has links)
Starting out as a state-run enterprise, TSC has sought to diversify its operations from its core salt business to comply with uninhibited private, international competition. Taiwan Salt is now divided into Seawater Chemistry, Biotech, Info-Tech, and Distribution business units based on their respective unique product lines and directions of future development. In terms of Biotech, Taiwan Salt has applied medical-grade collagen to its medical/cosmetics business and turned it into a major revenue source. Therefore, it will be necessary to study consumers¡¦ behavior in buying cosmetics in order to promote and sell this product. This research examined consumers¡¦ sex, age, education, occupation, and monthly income and investigated how differences in these factors and in post-purchase satisfaction and loyalty would lead to significant differences in suggestions and perception. Customers of TSC¡¦s Kaohsiung sales office were, based on convenient sampling, taken as the subjects that received questionnaire survey. The collected data underwent statistical procedures and analysis, and conclusions and suggestions were drawn and put up to be adopted by TSC and even enhance TSC¡¦s competitive edge. The research has obtained findings and offered suggestions. 1. The findings of this study are presented as follows: 1.1. Overall, the products of TSC¡¦s collagen cosmetics is accepterable by the consumers. The empirical result supports this aspect. 1.2. Market orientation has a positive effect on collagen cosmetics market. As the results of the statistics, female consumers age among 35 to 55 are the main targets of the collagen cosmetics markets. 1.3. Consumers concern about the qualities, functions, services, much more than the price of the TSC¡¦s collagen cosmetics. 1.4. In purchasing TSC¡¦s collagen cosmetics, the income factor is not significant with the prices of the commodities. However, there still have relatively large spaces on improving the quality of the commodities. 2. Suggestions: 2.1. The questionnaire survey scope of this study is focused only on TSC¡¦s Kaohsiung sales office; it¡¦s better spreading the field into the whole markets. 2.2. Offer various field of questionnaire survey shall be very helpful on comparison and understanding the full view of the markets. And then the results of the study can be more practical on TSC¡¦s marketing strategy planning.

"Deaf and dumb" : stigma, stereotyping and management of the adult hearing impaired at work

Pinder, R. January 1983 (has links)
This study investigates the perceptions different groups of hearing impaired adults have of the difficulties experienced in the acquisition and retention of satisfactory employment. A societal reactions perspective is adopted: departures from 'standard' communicative competence which violate expected norms of interaction are heavily sanctioned in our society. Those who 'deviate' in this respect tend to be negatively categorised in a fairly uniform manner. Thus the mildly impaired suffer similar imputations of deviance as those more severely impaired, variations being of degree rather than of kind, Despite this common categorisation, however, the hearing impaired adopt differing strategies to deal with stigma according to their skill in achieving 'standard' communicative 'competencies'. The semi-closed field of employment was chosen as illustrative of my arguments, as the hearing impaired must contend daily with a hearing environment. Participant observation activities were combined with in-depth interviewing of fifty respondents, covering a diverse range of clinical loss, age of onset and communication skills. My major speculation was confirmed. Respondents, as a group, felt under-involved, if not totally segregated from participation in economic goals by the stereotyping and stigma reactions their handicap was perceived to elicit from work colleagues and employers. Outcomes, however differed according to skill in communicative performance, although the work setting constrained options overall for successful strategy management. Other findings include the power of informal labellers to instigate deviant outcomes; the situational and sequential nature of deviance defining; the legitimation of limitations extrinsic to a respondent's handicap as intrinsic, and their rationalisation as 'insuperable obstacles'; and adherence by respondents to the work ethic. An appreciation of the commonalities of the deviantising process as applied to different groups of the hearing impaired is a pre-requisite for suggested anti-discriminatory legislation: to proscribe overt stigmatising behaviour, and ultimately eradicate stigma's 'small beginnings' at the level of individual interaction.

Strategies Outpatient Health Care Executives Use to Reduce Physician Turnover

Onyenacho, Maureen A. 01 January 2019 (has links)
Some outpatient health care executives experience high physician turnover leading to increased costs. To retain highly productive physicians, outpatient health care executives need to understand the best strategies for reducing physician turnover. Grounded in Herzberg 2-factor theory as the conceptual framework, the purpose of this multiple case study was to explore the strategies outpatient health care executives used to reduce physician turnover. Data were collected from semistructured interviews of 4 outpatient health care executives and the review of proprietary documents from 2 outpatient health care facilities in the Southern California metropolitan area. Data analysis comprised compiling and disassembling the data into common codes, reassembling the data into themes, interpreting the themes, and reporting the themes. Member checking and methodological triangulation amplified the trustworthiness of the findings. The course of thematic analysis led to identification of 4 core themes: autonomy, satisfactory work environment, effective communication, and training and growth opportunity. Implications for positive social change include the potential to increase economic growth while benefitting employees, families, and communities; increasing the continuity of patient care; and increasing patients'€™ access to health care. Outpatient health care executives can use the results of this study to implement changes conducive to minimizing physician turnover and associated costs while enhancing the quality of health care.

國小閱讀推廣活動現況與學生參與滿意度之研究:以桃園縣國民小學為例 / The study of reading promotion activities and students satisfaction in the elementary schools of Taoyuan County

陳淑怡, Chen, Shu Yi Unknown Date (has links)
The purpose of this research is to have a general review of Certified Reading Featured Schools. Interviews of librarians from 8 schools have been conducted as well as questionnaires to investigate higher graders involvement in the reading program of each school. The result shows prominent improvement in regards of the quantity of books due to large substantial funds from the government plus various in-campus reading schemes However, challenges are still there. The lack of professional librarian and regular funds for book purchasing, insufficient professional knowledge in reading instruction and teaching hours, lack of room and low commitment from parents are common problems faced by these schools. In regards to the students’ participation, most children enjoy reading activities and statistics shows prominent engagement in dynamic reading activity. More than half of the children engaged in such activities on their own wish but there are still more than 40% of students need adult guidance and encouragement. Generally students acknowledge the importance of reading as statistics show intrinsic motivations are prevalent among these participants. These elementary students express their great improvement over acquiring new knowledge, language proficiency and reading strategies after taking part of various reading schemes. The study also shows that girls’ engagement and motivation are prominently higher than boys. 5th graders involvement is higher than 6th graders. In regards to the feedback from students, scheme marketing strategy and rewarding system are on the top of the satisfactory criteria. The variety of activity, however, is at the bottom of the rank. Girls are prone to be happier in the activities than boys. 5th graders are more satisfied than the 6th graders. In conclusion, the study suggests following improving strategies to in-campus reading schemes. First of all, principals should be trained as the key advocators of reading. Professional librarian should be installed to develop and organize in-campus reading schemes. As for the professional development, a network of teaching reading should be set up to promote sustainable reading schemes and assessment of such activities. Strengthen cooperation with public libraries is also recommended to integrate community-based resources.

Subjektiva tolkningar av subjektiva skrivningar : En intervjustudie om sånglärares uppfattningar om och kommunikation av betygskriterier i sång på gymnasiet / Subjective interpretations of subjective scriptions : An interwiew study about singing teachers' perception and communication of the assessment criteria in song in high school

Hansson, Maria January 2015 (has links)
The purpose is to investigate vocal teachers’ perceptions and communication of the assessment criteria in singing at aesthetic programs in high school. The background chapter presents concepts that are central to the study. It has not yet been published any research on the rating criteria which in the present study consists of the subjective wordings "self-expression" and "musically satisfying results". Qualitative interviews are used as a research method. Interviews were conducted with three singing teachers who rated students according to the rating criteria which are the focus of this study. The results indicate that self-expression may be the individual's personal expression, the expression we have just by being human, but in an enhanced form. It may also involve interpretation. Furthermore, the result shows that musically satisfying results is reached by basic hearing and sense of form. The singing teachers convey rating criteria and the quality mostly by grading conversation with the student. All singing teacher also emphasizes the student's autonomy and its own momentum continuations to achieve the highest rating. The discussion section compares the results of the study of the theories and previous research presented in the background section. Finally, discussions are underway about the importance of the study and continued research in the area
