This study aims to analyze the supernatural represented in Montedemo of writer Hélia Correia. The aim of this monographic study is to elucidate the categories linked to strange or supernatural (Fantastic, Wonderful, Wonderful Realism) and show that the classification of that work just as fantastic and arbitrary, according to new theories related to magical realism. The creation of a fictional work using this model is seen by the author's criticism as a form of writers of the time to create a narrative in which are unusual or unrealistic attempts to escape a real poor and banal. Thinking of a time that is recovering from a period of political repression, it is a form of immediate elaboration of Portuguese history, a symbolic restructuring, and that does not mean identity. In order to do this, this work entitled "The supernatural represented in works of Hélia Correia," proposes to address the fictional works of the author, during the 80s, trying to understand it from the requirements that are subject to English prose after April 25. The suggested reading, held from categories that govern the contemporary narrative, allows defining features of history in such works, still presented using a strong imaginary component anchored in the mystical vision of the world ports. / A presente dissertação tem o propósito de analisar o Montedemo da escritora Hélia Correia e, dentro desse estudo, levantar um aspecto marcante na composição dessa obra, a representação do sobrenatural. Para abordar o tópico da representação do sobrenatural no romance, fez-se uma revisão teórica das categorias atreladas ao estranho ou sobrenatural (Fantástico, Maravilhoso, Realismo Maravilhoso) para verificarmos que alusão dessa narrativa como Fantástica não responde às especificidades do texto, tendo-se optado, então, por teorias relacionadas ao realismo mágico. A criação de uma obra ficcional seguindo esse modelo é vista pela crítica sobre a autora como uma forma dos escritores da época de criar uma narrativa em que o irreal ou o insólito são tentativas de escapar a uma realidade insuficiente e banal. Em uma época na qual a nação estava se recuperando de um período de repressão política, torna-se uma forma de evasão da história portuguesa imediata, realizada a partir de sua reestruturação simbólica. Com vistas a isso, este trabalho, intitulado O sobrenatural representado em obras de Hélia Correia , propõe-se a abordar a obra ficcional da autora, no período da década de 80, tentando compreendê-la a partir dos preceitos que passam a reger a prosa portuguesa após a revolução de 25 de abril. A leitura sugerida, realizada a partir de categorias que regem a narrativa contemporânea, permite definir feições de fantástico-maravilhoso em tal obra, apresentado ainda através da utilização de um imaginário ancorado no componente mítico da visão do mundo português.

A proposta deste trabalho é analisar os elementos sobrenaturais e mágicos presentes nas narrativas do núcleo fundador das Mil e uma noites e nas histórias inseridas ao livro, no século XVIII, pelo primeiro tradutor dessa obra, o francês Antoine Galland. Ao ter em mãos o manuscrito que, atualmente, é considerado o melhor e o mais antigo das Mil e uma noites, o orientalista francês não somente traduziu o núcleo mais antigo do livro, mas também inseriu novas histórias, algumas das quais, até o momento, não possuem um manuscrito árabe e, por isso, são chamados contos órfãos. Observa-se que tanto nas histórias do núcleo fundador como nas que foram inseridas por Galland os seres sobrenaturais e mágicos apresentam diferentes funções, veiculando valores e concepções socioculturais diferentes. Por isso, propõe-se neste trabalho a identificação, a descrição e a análise da função desses elementos sobrenaturais e mágicos nas narrativas em questão, observando tanto sua importância para o desenvolvimento da intriga como a construção de sentido que tais elementos promovem nos dois ciclos narrativos, elaborados em contextos socioculturais distintos. Com base nas narrativas em que os elementos sobrenaturais e mágicos desempenham um papel preponderante no enredo, delimitou-se para este trabalho um corpus de 23 histórias, o que permitiu observar amplamente as modificações das funções desses elementos nos diferentes textos, bem como os diferentes sentidos que eles constroem nas histórias dos dois ciclos narrativos. / The purpose of this research is to analyze the supernatural and magical elements available in the constitutive narratives of the founding nucleus of the Thousand and One Nights and the tales added to the book in the 18th century by its first translator, Antoine Galland. Since he acquired the manuscript, which is considered currently to be the oldest and the best one, the French orientalist not only translated the oldest collection of tales of the book, but also added new tales whose manuscripts were not found so far, for this reason, they were called \"orphan tales\". Comparing the tales belonging to the oldest collection of the book and the ones written by Galland, we conclude that the supernatural and magical beings play various roles transmitting different moral values and sócio-cultural conceptions. For this reason, we aim to identify, describe and analyze the roles of these elements in the narratives, taking into consideration their importance while generating the intrigue and the way they create meanings along the two narrative cycles built in various sócio-cultural contexts. After selecting the narratives in which the supernatural and magical elements play more influential roles in the storyline, we chose 23 tales as a corpus allowing us to observe clearly the role changes of the elements in each text.

O presente trabalho apresenta a perspectiva do sobrenatural, representado em narrativas japonesas que tratam do estranho e do mistério, pertencentes ao gênero literário kaidan. Nesse contexto, esta dissertação descreverá o imaginário popular japonês e determinados tipos de seres sobrenaturais, com a proposta de melhor compreender a relação do povo nipônico com este tema. Posteriormente a esta descrição, será abordada a formação da literatura kaidan e suas características gerais. Para melhor compreender o conteúdo das narrativas pertencentes a este gênero, serão utilizados os textos da obra Kwaidan, de Lafcadio Hearn. Desta forma, far-se-á necessária a apresentação de um breve histórico do referido autor, sua produção literária e sua relação com a cultura japonesa. Por fim, realizaremos uma análise das narrativas do Kwaidan, no intento de desvendar a forma como os seres sobrenaturais atuam alegoricamente no imaginário japonês. Além disso, este estudo analítico também nos permitirá elucidar os diversos mecanismos das estruturas textuais que conferem a algumas das narrativas o aspecto fantástico e assustador. / This paper presents the perspective of the supernatural, represented in Japanese narratives that discuss what is strange things and mysterious, which belong to the kaidan literary genre. In this context, this paper will describe the Japanese popular imagination and certain types of supernatural beings, in order to better understand the relation between the Japanese people and this theme. Following this description, it will be discussed the formation of kaidan literature and its general characteristics. To better understand the content of the narratives that belong to this genre, texts of the work Kwaidan, of Lafcadio Hearn, will be used. Thus, it is necessary to present a brief history of that author, his literary production and its relation to Japanese culture. Finally, we will conduct an analysis of the narratives of Kwaidan, in an attempt to unravel how the supernatural beings act allegorically in the Japanese imagination. Additionally, this analytical study will also allow us to elucidate the various mechanisms of the textual structures used in the narratives which give them the fantastic and frightful imprint.

Para tal, o recurso metodológico principal da pesquisa é a análise bibliográfica, tanto da obra de Chardin, quanto de seus comentadores e críticos. Por meio dos estudos realizados, os resultados deste trabalham apontam para o fato de que Teilhard estabeleceu pontos de continuidade, e não de ruptura, entre as ordens natural e sobrenatural. Do mesmo modo, o pensamento teilhardano caminha na linha tênue entre o panteísmo e a manutenção do equilíbrio entre a transcendência de Cristo e seus prolongamentos no Real. E, também, a obra de Teilhard é dedicada a estudar positivamente as condições cósmicas, físicas, biológicas e antropológicas que definem, numa tentativa arrojada, a maturação da criação pela qual ela se torna capaz de perceber a plenitude do fim sobrenatural. / This paper focuses on the relationship between the natural and supernatural reality in the thought of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, taking as a starting point the reopening of the issue promoted by the French philosopher Maurice Blondel . To this end, the main methodological feature of the study is the bibliographic analysis of the work of Chardin, as their commentators and critics. Through the studies, the results of this work point to the fact that Teilhard established points of continuity, and not rupture, between the natural and supernatural orders. Similarly, the “teilhardano” thought walks in the fine line between pantheism and the maintenance of a balance between the transcendence of Christ and its extensions in the Real. And also the work of Teilhard is dedicated to positively study the cosmic, physical, biological and anthropological conditions that define, in a bold attempt , the maturation of the creation by which it is able to realize the fullness of the supernatural end.

For this, it starts from an analysis of the problematic in the History of Theology, from the Middle Ages, when an issue is put explicitly, until a Contemporary Age, when a problematic resurface of the publications of De Lubac. Rahner assumes a problematic as a central theme in his theological elaborations. Concepts such as "rest" (referring to pure nature), "supernatural existential", "selfcommunication", among others, are Rahnerian concepts formulated without context of the natural-supernatural problematic. Thus, a study of this problematic in Rahner allows an overview of the author's reference work. What is the question of the relation man- God, natural-supernatural, profane history-history of salvation, etc. By Rahner served as a contribution to a theology of liberation in its elaborations, which are made from overcoming the dualism between salvation History. / O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar como Karl Rahner aborda a problemática natural-sobrenatural. Para isso, parte-se de uma análise da problemática na história da teologia, sobretudo partir da Idade Média, quando a questão é posta de modo explícita, até a Idade Contemporânea, quando a problemática ressurge devido às publicações de De Lubac. Rahner assume a problemática como um tema central em suas elaborações teológicas. Conceitos como “resto” (referido à natureza pura), “existencial sobrenatural”, “autocomunicação”, entre outros, são conceitos rahnerianos formulados no contexto da problemática natural-sobrenatural. Assim, a análise dessa problemática em Rahner permite uma visão de conjunto da obra do referido autor. O trato do problema da relação homem-Deus, natural-sobrenatural, história profana-história da salvação, etc. por Rahner serviu de aporte para a teologia da libertação em suas elaborações, que são feitas já a partir da superação do dualismo entre salvação e história.

Este projeto artístico equivalente à dissertação para o mestrado em poéticas visuais é composto pela documentação do processo criativo, que é em si o mestrado em poéticas visuais, e por uma pequena seleção de fotogravuras originais da série \'Pequeno Compêndio dos Mares\'. A documentação consiste em três partes: primeira, registro de obras e exposições já realizadas e obras em processo; segunda, notas visuais e de texto; e última, uma seleção de trabalhos precedentes ao período do mestrado. A organização desta documentação do processo artístico foi feita priorizando o conjunto das imagens e considerando a linguagem visual como uma linguagem diversa e do mesmo valor da verbal, pois que assim como a palavra, o visual opera através de raciocínios intelectuais e sensíveis - e pode estar na universidade sendo debatido por artistas que trabalham com esta linguagem, medido dentro das particularidades da visualidade. Portanto apresento o registro e as obras materializadas como parte de um processo onde reflexão e fazer são o mesmo ato criativo e cuja complexidade intelectual existe desvinculada da necessidade da articulação pela palavra e independente de uma tese pré-formulada verbalmente, os textos aqui cumprem outra função: relacionam interesses, técnicas e influências temáticas de outras áreas do conhecimento. / This artistic project, equivalent to the Master dissertation in visual arts, is composed by the documentation of the creative process, which is itself the Master degree in Visual Arts, as well as a small selection of photoengraving originals entitled \"Small Compendium of the Seas\". The documentation consists in three parts: first, art works and record of past exhibits and works in progress; second, visual and text notes; and last, selection of works preceding the period of Masters in Visual Arts. The organization of the documentation of the artistic process was made by prioritizing the body of work and considering the visual language as a diverse language but with the same legitimacy of verbal language, as well to the word, the visual knowledge operates through intellectual and sensible reasoning - and may be in the university being debated by artists who work with this language, measured within the particularities of visuality. Therefore I present the record and the materialized art works as part of a process where thinking and doing are the same creative act and in which intellectual complexity exists detached from the necessity of articulating word and independent of a pre-formulated verbal thesis, the texts here have another function: related interests, techniques and thematic influences from other areas of knowledge.

Este trabalho estuda o Grande sertão: veredas, investigando em seus dilemas e soluções formais reduções estruturais do processo social brasileiro. Mais especificamente, a partir da análise dos casos, mas também do ponto de vista narrativo e de dinâmicas ligadas à formação do protagonista nos episódios do pacto e da assunção da chefia, pretendemos demonstrar a estruturação no texto de um modelo de funcionamento social baseado na violência e no recurso ao sobrenatural. Nossa hipótese postula que nos planos estruturais definidos como objeto de análise vigoram oposições irresolúveis em conflito e reversibilidade constantes. Tais oposições determinam uma lei de conformação que une mudança e conservação. Em outras palavras, é nossa intenção demonstrar que a indefinição e a ambigüidade, que estão presentes nos planos da relação entre caso e romance, da consciência narradora e na trajetória do protagonista, são características do processo histórico e social a que o livro remete, que pode ser definido de forma mais abrangente como \"modernização conservadora\". / In this work, we study Grande sertão: veredas, investigating in its dilemmas and formal solutions the social process condensed in its literary structure. More specifically, from the analysis of the \"casos\" (brief stories detached from the narrative\'s main axis), the narrative point of view and the dynamics linked to the main protagonist\'s formative process in the pact and leadership takeover episodes, we intend to reveal a social functioning model based on the violence and on the supernatural as the only alternative to solve impasses. Our hypothesis presumes that in the structural plans fixed as objects for analysis there are many unsolvable oppositions in constant conflict and reversibility. Such oppositions determinate a literary constitution principle that joins change and conservation. In other words, it is our intention to demonstrate that the fluid outlining limits and the ambiguity, which define the plans of the \"caso\" and novel relationship, narrative consciousness and protagonist course, are implicit characteristics of the historical and social process to which the book refers, which can be defined by the expression \"conservative modernization\".

Diese Magisterarbeit handelt sich um die Beschreibung und die Kritik von Erzählungen über Gespenster, die in Lektüren von Kindern und Jugendlichen vorkommen. Dazu werden 72 für Kinder und Jugendliche geeignete Kurzgeschichten über Gespenster analysiert. Die Erzählungen sind in völkerkundlichen Sammlungen oder in Werken von Schriftstellern, die sich mit diesem Thema beschäftigen, gefunden worden. Die Beschreibung des gemeinsamen Kennzeichen, das mit dem Inhalt und der Form gebunden ist, und die tiefe Analyse von vier Geschichten zeigen die Vielfalt der Gattung und erlauben, dass man vier Gruppen festsetzt. Diese Gruppen achten auf die Figur des Gespenstes und seine Vorstellung in den Erzählungen. Durch die Einordnung der Kurzgeschichten und durch die Beschreibung ihrer Kennzeichen versucht man eine Typologie der Gattung zu entwerfen. Es gibt Untersuchungen, die von der Völkerkunde, der Kinderliteratur oder der fantastischen Gattung handeln; aber keine kümmert sich genau um die Erzählungen über Gespenster für Kinder und Jugendlichen. Da die Figur des Gespenstes so haüfig in den kulturelischen Medien heutzutage benutzt wird, ist diese Arbeit also sehr wichtig und kommt rechtzeitig in den literarischen Bereich an. Auβerdem begleiten die Erzählungen über Gespenster schon lange den Menschen durch die mündliche Übertragung. / Esta dissertação apresenta um estudo descritivo e crítico de um conjunto de narrativas de assombração do tipo fantasma, destinadas a leitores infanto-juvenis. Para tanto, são estudadas 72 narrativas curtas de fantasma voltadas ao público infanto-juvenil, registradas em coletâneas de contos folclóricos, em coleções cujos títulos sugerem a presença de histórias sobre fantasmas ou em obras de autores cuja produção explora a temática sobrenatural. A descrição de características comuns das narrativas, referentes ao conteúdo e à forma, e a análise aprofundada de quatro amostras demonstram a variabilidade do gênero e permitem o estabelecimento de quatro categorias, que levam em conta o tratamento dispensado à personagem fantasma. A classificação das narrativas em categorias e a descrição de suas características são uma tentativa de traçar a tipologia do gênero em questão, visto que estudos já existentes referentes ao folclore, à literatura infanto-juvenil ou ao gênero fantástico apenas tangenciam a questão das narrativas de assombração. O estudo aqui desenvolvido, portanto, é importante e oportuno no âmbito dos estudos literários, pois aborda a temática da assombração e, mais especificamente, do fantasma, que é tão presente em meios culturais diversos e que acompanha o homem há muito tempo por meio da transmissão oral.
