Problématiques(s) des rapports soma/psyché dans les neurosciences et dans la psychanalyse : du réel de la science au réel du parlêtre / Problematic(s) relations between psyche and soma in neurosciences and psychoanalysis : from the real of science to the real of the « parlêtre »

Gosselin, Vincent 01 October 2011 (has links)
Hysterical conversions symptoms, which are defined as functional stoke of sensory and/or motor functions without known physiological causality, ask a serious riddle to scientific and medical theory. This studie is focused on hysterical motor paralysis where neurological investigations are more recents and numerous. Starting from this point, body mind representations are interrogated and compared in the fields of neurosciences and psychoanalysis. In neurosciences, the body mind problem can be reduce to monist physicalist conception, in which psyche is an epiphenomenon stem from information processing in neural networks (this position is called eliminationnism), or can be reduce to differents dualists conceptions which are more or less explicited, depending of autors. The last Lacan’view of borromean knot, which refer to the « parlêtre »’s structure (RSI knot), allow us to show that scientifics représentations (imaginaro-symbolic representations) of human are limited because they don’t take real, symbolic and imaginary registers into consideration.

This thesis investigates the experience of bodily movement as the basis of social interaction. The design concept is based on the exploration of “unfocused interaction” among visitors to a public library (library of Malmo university). This thesis is framed with relevance to the “Soma Design program,” as proposed by Kristina Höök, and it expands Höök’s foundation of attending to bodily senses by paying attention to bodily movement. Moreover, this thesis looks explicitly at the experience of using body movement as the most basic form of human communication in social interaction.Imagining the world in which using body movement is an effective alternative to oral communication motivated me to formulate and select the methodological approach in this thesis project. Research Through Design has been utilizing as the primary process to explore the subject. This concept emerged from the participants’ experiences in exploratory workshops based on somaesthetic techniques focusing on body movement with the help of the body storming method and the experience of using body movement as a tool/medium for creating social interaction. The final concept is presented in this thesis through the Wizard of Oz prototype. The final concept focuses on tow keys areas: 1: individuals’ awareness of their body movement. 2: Embodied interaction and using technology along with natural body movement to create social interaction.

Winnicott, adopting the understanding of his theory of personal maturation as interpreted by Elsa Dias and Zeljko Loparic. It aims to show that the author makes conceptual issues in psychoanalysis that modify the general approach of reflection on the psychoaffective organization of the human being, conceived by him as the object of his psychoanalysis. Instead of keeping the opposition body-mind, Winnicott suggests that the psycho-affective organization is given based on other poles, opposing the psyche and the soma and considering the mind a different aspect of the functioning of psyche. The explanation of these terms-concepts, as well as what he characterized as imaginative elaboration of bodily functions, in conjunction with the description that he makes of one of the initial task of maturation, the housing of the psyche in the body, provide useful information to understand the Winnicottian proposition whereby existence is essentially psychosomatic. Moreover, one can cite, as a matter of illustration, some psychosomatic disorders (especially anorexia and bulimia), which clarifies the way Winnicott considers this type of clinical problem. Roughly speaking, it aims to show that the cited author considers disorders involving the body as attempts to achieve a psychosomatic integration that was not satisfactory achieved in the process of emotional maturation.

José Virgílio Guedes de Avellar 18 June 2010 (has links)

Luciene Bianca Alves 10 December 2013 (has links)

Exploring the relation between ICT use and stress. : Development of a concept to reduce smartphone use in bed at night.

Comstedt, Agnes, Martin Garcia, Ainhoa January 2019 (has links)
Digitalization has affected and changed society in many ways, and the use of ICT and smartphones has increased drastically over the last years. The two research questions that were addressed in this Master Thesis Project were: 1. Is there a connection between ICT use and stress? and 2. How can we help people to limit or reduce their smartphone use in bed at night? The project was divided into two parts, one research part (1) and one design development part (2), each with its own research question. Methods applied in the project included Design Research, Human-Centered Design and a Soma Design approach. An extensive background research and user studies, including deep interviews and a survey, both answered the first research question and led to the formulation of the second one. To answer the second research question four different concepts were developed, tested as trigger material and evaluated through a SWOT analysis. The concept that was chosen to be further developed, a massage pillow controlled by moving a smartphone around, was developed into a functional prototype. The purpose of the prototype was to give the user an experience as close to the real one as possible. Based on the prototype, a final concept of the massage pillow, called “Avkopplad”, was created. The answer to the first research question was that yes, there is a connection between ICT use and stress. The second research question was answered by the final concept, although further development and tests of it are necessary to confirm the answer.

Faria, Cl?udia Mezzarano 24 February 2012 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-04-04T18:28:03Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Claudia Mezzarano Faria.pdf: 515723 bytes, checksum: 0a4f508dfa9e9c03f903b1a3eb2bac59 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2012-02-24 / The aim of this study was to clarify Winnicott s understandings of the psychosomatic problems, especially those related to the genesis, dynamics and potential treatment, thus contributing to the development of his psychosomatic theory. Several cases and clinical vignettes with psychosomatic symptoms and references, scattered in his work, were gathered, organized and classified. Data analysis was based on these references in relation to the theory. Beginning with the notions of integration psyche-soma and personalization, Winnicott considers the real psychosomatic disorder related to primary (early) development processes. He assumes the commonly called psychosomatic disorder phenomenon is only the body-psyche connection (linkage). Furthermore, he assumes that in several cases, the physical manifestations of psycho-emotional difficulties are natural phenomenon of human life and part of the maturation process. The classification of cases and clinical vignettes was proposed as follows: False psychosomatic disorder versus True psychosomatic disorder , in order to distinguish the phenomenon that is routinely taken as a psychosomatic disorder, but that only indicates the psyche-soma intimate relationship, from the true psychosomatic disorder, in Winnicott?s concept, and the False psychosomatic disorder subcategories Natural reaction versus Pathological symptom , to separate natural physical manifestations of emotional difficulties from some kind of psychopathology, although not characterized as a real psychosomatic disorder. The genesis, dynamics and potential treatment of a psychosomatic symptom depends on the category it fits. By analyzing and systematizing the Winnicott material (work), we intended to contribute to deepening his theory and to solving the empiric-clinical problem of the psychosomatic phenomena.

Laurentiis, Vera Regina Ferraz de 04 June 2008 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-04-28T20:39:48Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Vera Regina Ferraz de Laurentiis.pdf: 744409 bytes, checksum: 2702b70385a73533c661c01e5612e92d (MD5) Previous issue date: 2008-06-04 / The objective of this paper is to explain the somatic aspects inherent to the Winnicottian maturational theory from the initial moment to the so-called I am phase, to assist the psychoanalyst with the comprehension of the clinical phenomena that occur in the soma but are not able to be verbalised. To this end, I have briefly expounded on the theoretical change made by Winnicott and the substitution of the traditional psychoanalytical guidetheory of sexuality by the maturational theory and the Oedipal example for that of the baby on its mother s lap. The distancing from metapsychology and the consolidation of a descriptive language aims to draw closer to the clinical phenomena. Focusing on the interaction between the so-called living body and the human environment, highlighting the imaginative elaboration of the soma and the primary psychosomatic character of Winnicottian theory. Expounding on that which the author denominates as inhabiting the psyche in the soma and the integration of instinct with the self, which is at the foundation of future instinctive dualistic and/or pluralistic relations. Through these propositions, one can understand the author s sense of the I am phase, as that of a moment in which, with the constitution of a body scheme, the baby acquires a place to exist and experience the world / Este trabalho teve por objetivo explicitar os aspectos somáticos inerentes à teoria winnicottiana do amadurecimento, dos momentos iniciais até a etapa denominada eu sou , para instrumentalizar o psicanalista para a compreensão de fenômenos clínicos que têm incidência no soma e não são verbalizáveis.
