Školní vzdělávání sportovně nadaných žáků a studentů / The Education of Athletically Gifted Students

Orlová, Jana January 2015 (has links)
My thesis focuses on the subject of 'education of athletically talented students' on a theoretical and empirical level. The theoretical part describes 'talent' on a general basis followed by a specific description of a 'sporting talent'. It considers the conditions of education of talented students without a particular focus and subsequently discusses the subject of school education of athletically talented students. It introduces the specific aspects of an athlete as a pupil, the factors that influence his/her educational path and the problem of 'dual career'. It also characterizes the conditions of education of athletes in Europe and the system of education in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is the resource for conducting the empirical part, where the results show how athletes themselves describe and evaluate the conditions of school education. The reaserch of investigated topic whilst using thorough interviews concludes the way athletes perceive this issue.

A cidade do futebol. Etnografia sobre a prática futebolística na metrópole manauara / The city of soccer: ethnography about soccer practice in Manaus

Chiquetto, Rodrigo Valentim 17 October 2014 (has links)
The following research is about amateur football playing in the context of Peladão the greatest lea football championship in Brazil that takes place in Manaus since 1973, which integrates men, women and children, as well as a beauty pageant that annually elects the Peladão´s Queen. No. of bitstreams: 1 Rodrigo da Silva Paiva.pdf: 3674625 bytes, checksum: ba1a5b70a82ed782636e73b452a7d480 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2018-03-23 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / In Brazil, the public policies of sports and leisure have been targeted, since the realization of the Pan American Games of 2007, by the explicit goal of designing internationally the country in political and economic areas. The country hosted, in the range of a decade, the biggest sporting events of the Earth: Military games (2011), Confederations Cup (2013), F.I.F.A. World Cup (2014), America’s Cup (2015) and Olympic Games (2016). The argument adopted by the managers of the different sublevels of government, explained in application documents of the Ministry of Sports, to legitimize the assumption of an agenda too committed to sports, was that the social legacy of sporting mega events would a modernization of infrastructure, upgrading of services, social mobilization, economic decentralization, stimulation to the many forms of innovation, commitment to the environment and sustainability, improvement of transparency in public management and dissemination of sports. Taking this last aspect as main reference, the objective of this study is to verify whether, and to what extent, the twelve host cities in Brazil that received the F.I.F.A. World Cup planned programs of democratization as the legacy sports mega event. For the study, were collected, analyzed and discussed the data gathered between 2012-2016 in a national project, World Cup cities, of note, proposing and monitoring of documents prepared for the legacy of the World Cup, from carrying out a program led by a sports institution of the third-sector, financed with public money and made possible through tax waiver for the private sector, through the law of Incentive to the sport. Meetings were held with all the sports Secretaries of host cities and other sectors of society. Compare arrays of responsibilities and the legacy plans produced in Cities. The detailed analysis of a set of indicators agreed by public managers, of the host cities, related to the sporting legacy, namely, investment in infrastructure, professional training for the universalization of access to sports, resizing of policies to encourage the social sport to the detriment of the elite sport and performance and development of programs of universalizing access to sport in the school environment, showed that no host city of FIFA World Cup designed any effective actions for the sporting legacy. The Developed action plans did not guarantee the representation of diverse interests of leather sports actors of each locale. Sports managers in multiple sublevels of Government have shown little or no commitment to the sporting legacy. The elaborate plans even became part of the political agenda of sports of host cities. The World Cup Cities Project, with obsolete results, could never have been accomplished and, If the investments that consumed were directed to the direct care of children and young people in long-term sports programs would decrease the contradiction as fallacious speech sporting legacy of the mega event and the implementation of public policies for universalization of access to sports / No Brasil, as políticas públicas de esportes e lazer tem sido orientadas, desde a realização dos jogos Pan-americanos de 2007, pelo objetivo explícito de projetar internacionalmente o país, nos âmbitos, político e econômico.

The researches have been analyzing the process of group communication on a one-way direction, and not considering the athlete as an active and not passive individual, where his/her behavior is a direct result of the incentives presented by the environment. It is believed that to understand the productions of the subjective senses and how the communication processes in a sporting team are organized are relevant to lead us understand the subjective configurations, both of the group subjectivity and of the athletes individually. Those two levels of the subjectivity go through processes of constant transformation aiming at looking for a balance to consider the individual and group needs simultaneously [at the same time]. That study had as objective to analyze the relation and the production processes of subjective sense between coach and athletes of a triatlo team, considering: i) the organization of the team communication processes to understand the athlete-team, athlete-athlete, coachteam, coach-athlete relationship; ii) the understanding of the group climate and how that affects the athletes' subjectivity; iii) and how these processes influence the sporting performance. The present study emphasizes the constructive-interpretative and dialogical character of the knowledge, starting from Gonz?lez Rey's interpretation over qualitative research. The field research comprised a five-month follow-up of 8 athletes and a coach of a triatlo team, in a town of the state of S?o Paulo countryside that participates in regional, national and international competitions. For the accomplishment of this study the tools used were: conversational dynamics, term used to emphasize the procedural and open character of the relationships with the participant; complement of sentences, which allowed acquiring information about the production of sense of the individual; and a field diary. The tools supplied indicators of subjective sense, which, in our analysis, took us to the construction of the following subjective senses nuclei: i) the impact of the coach's subjectivity in the team constitution; ii) the competitive moment and its influence in the team subjective configuration; and iii) the family interference in the athlete s subjective formation. The impact of each one of those subjective sense nuclei on the athlete and the team were the main results of this research, where the coach s production of subjective sense had strong influence in the communication process among him and the athlete, the team, and the athlete s family. The coach's dispute for the attention and recognition of the direct and indirect participants created an atmosphere of intra-personal competition, generating individualism, jealousy and envy. Those indicators when associated to others existent in the competitive atmosphere, as the winner's exaltation, the depreciation of the defeated and the promptness configure a social subjectivity, which represents the contemporary society.

Mazzei, Leandro Carlos 26 January 2016 (has links)
A partir destes resultados elaborou-se o modelo \"Judo Organizational Factors Influencing the International Sporting Success\" (JUDO-OFIISS). The objective of this research was to identify factors at an organizational level that influence international success in high-performance judo. To fulfil the objective of this research a Sequential Exploratory Design was used involving an initial phase which collects and analyses qualitative data, followed by a second intermediate phase related to the development of a measurement instrument and a third involving the collection and analysis of quantitative data. Through Content Analysis on interviews with 33 individuals (athletes, coaches, performance directors and experts) from the international high-performance judo in the initial qualitative phase, 11 categories and 44 subcategories were identified which were considered the dimensions and the organizational factors influencing the international sporting success in high-performance judo. It was verified that the results are similar to other studies and models, which had the purpose of investigating sport policies or high-performance sport systems, particularly the pillars of SPLISS model. However, specific judo characteristics that affect organizational factors that influence the international sporting success were identified, such as tradition, history and cultural aspects inherent of judo practice. Furthermore, based on the Systems Theory environmental factors that influence the development of judo in different countries and that consequently influence the reach of international success were also identified. From these results, the \"Judo Organizational Factors Influencing the International Sporting Success\" (JUDO-OFIISS) model was developed. A questionnaire developed and validated by Content Validation by six experts in the second phase allowed for model validation in a third quantitative phase; this proceeded an Exploratory Factor Analysis on data obtained in a sample of 406 individuals, divided into athletes, coaches, performance directors and experts from Brazilian high-performance judo context. The Exploratory Factor Analysis showed that the organizational factors influencing the international sporting success in high-performance judo were correlated and validated. The results in the third phase suggested that the search for international sporting success in high-performance judo depends upon the existence of all identified organizational factors, probably on their relationship and the existing environment in different countries. Future research could deepen the understanding of the relationship between organizational factors by conducting quantitative procedures performed in samples from other countries, or by carrying out procedures involving confirmatory analysis or structural equation modelling in order to identify the importance or the \"power\" of each organizational factor or even the dimensions (categories) that were identified in this research. Specifically for judo, the identified results may provide knowledge into the development and management of high-performance judo and it can even be used as a model for the identification and evaluation of key factors in judo policies and systems. As to its theoretical contribution this research contributes to the understanding of sport policies and high-performance sport systems considering a sport specific level
