How does environment and facilities influence people during team work? – The design of a multifunctional desk to enhance creativitySun, YuFeng, YongHao, Yang January 2017 (has links)
Creativity and innovation are two forces that impel industries. Product design is often assigned to a team consisting of members from different backgrounds. To support the collaboration, there are many special places built for creativity and innovation, referred to as “creative space” in this thesis. Doing the project in a well-designed creative space can enhance creativity and productivity. However, most creative spaces are still using the facilities and furniture from common conference rooms, even though they are built for other purposes. Due to different working modes, the conference room does not suit for group design processes. It is still not widely accepted that what features the creative space should have to enhance the creativity. In order to design the creative space that meets the needs of the design teams, research has been done to identify the influencing factors that impact creativity. Based on these factors, observations and interviews are also carried out to analyze the influencing factors and gather data. The general concept and final solution is generated based on all the researches. As a result of this thesis, the prototype of a creative desk is carried out at the end. Some fundamental researches and discussions about the creativity stimulation are also analyzed to shed some light on this research field.

Mötet mellan centralt och lokalt : Studier i uppländska byordningar / The meeting ofcentral and local authority : Studies on village by-laws in UpplandEhn, Wolter January 1991 (has links)
The Swedish village by-laws are a collection of rules for coexistence in a village which evolved during the 18th and 19th centuries. The dissertation takes its starting point in an edition of Byordningar från Mälarlänen (Village By-Laws in the Lake Mälar districts) containing about 400 by-laws from the central part of Sweden, and is a limited review of that edition at the same time as it gives a systematic survey of certain aspects specified in the by-laws. These aspects were added as the result of an official proposal in 1742 containing a model on how a by-law should be constructed. The question is asked whether the directives of the Government were formulated when they reached the local level, or whether they were redesigned and adapted to suit the local situation. The village by-laws in the Mälar counties differ in form and in content depending upon the official proposal on by-laws from 1742. The village by-laws were originally discussed in connection with the changes in agriculture, and thus concerned such sectors as farming methods, fencing, grazing, the right to certain proportions of the village's resources. The local conditions in the village are reflected in, for example, the rules on the length of the grass for grazing. There were different kinds of such by-laws, e.g., by-laws for individual villages and by-laws for parishes (approved at a parish meeting). The initiative of the Government in requiring village by-laws gave different results in different counties. Large parts of Uppsala county are without forest land. The fences and the system of enclosing fields are therefore of particular interest in a discussion on the village by-laws. I have demonstrated that their origin and acceptance in Swedish villages and parishes can be placed in political, chronological, social and functional contexts. / <p>Diss. Uppsala : Univ.</p>

Meetings in urban spaces is a thesis in information design with emphasis on spatial design. The aim of this thesis is to is to examine how poorly utilised spaces in urban environments can become more useful, as well as which criteria are required to enable a pleasant stay in these locations. The object of the study is the terrace outside Stockholm Public Library which, due to its current appearance and lack of function, most of the time is unused and deserted. The study’s aim is to generate a design proposal that encourages an increase in the flow of people to the terraces and that makes people want to spend more of their time there. The goal is to get more visitors to appreciate the terraces and utilise the space better. From the results of collected empirical data through spatial analysis, observations, notations of movement, interviews and discussions it has become clear that the reason for the terraces being unused is a lack of functionality and the spaces appearance. The conclusion of the theoretical and practical studies about spatiality, shape, urban public spaces and cognitive psychology etc., show that the choice of shape and placement of spatial elements can contribute to people choosing to linger on the library terraces. In its turn, this knowledge can create the right conditions for a changed pattern of movement and a greater flow of people to the location. A design proposal was created, based on theories and empirical data presented in the study. The aim design proposal is to show how it may be possible to draw visitors’ attention to the terraces and create a more natural flow there. This may be achieved by adding round shapes and curved lines, more variety in shape and proportion and by creating more obvious functions that meet visitors’ needs of activity and aesthetics. While this study is focused on the terraces of Stockholm Public Library it is my hope that these conclusions may also be applicable to similar environments in other location.

Obchodní vedení / Business managementVrbková, Andrea January 2014 (has links)
- 1 - Abstract Business management The purpose of this thesis is to analyze selected aspects of business management with an emphasis on the legal regulation of instructions given by a general meeting, including instructions on request. The thesis also deals with specifics of business management in a monistic system of management of a stock corporation or in a group of companies. The thesis is divided into four chapters; each of them is closed with a partial summary which informs briefly about the topic being discussed and the resulting conclusions. Vliv společníka na řízení kapitálové společnosti / Influence of a member upon the management of a limited companyČernohorský, Jan January 2014 (has links)
This thesis is dedicated only to an influence of a member on managing company limited by shares. The thesis was written between the legal effects of two acts, but the new legal regulation, with regard to the old regulation and case law, developing for more than 20 years, was the base for my thesis. The first chapter describes the key terms of this thesis, which are crucial for good understanding of the whole problematic. The second chapter deals with the term share, which represents the participation of a member in a company. The chapter analyses its quantitative and particularly its qualitative aspect. The institute of share has changed in such a way that it has to be explained precisely. Understanding of the term share is important for the whole thesis, because it is the share itself, which represents the influence of the member. The focal point of my thesis is described in the third chapter, which deals with a member's right to participate on managing company limited by shares. This right is asserted especially through general meeting. The chapter gives an overview about the main changes in competence and functioning of the general meeting. There is also member's influence beyond the general meeting, through per rollam decision-making, described in this chapter. The chapter also contains a...

La scène de première rencontre de Baudelaire à Breton : du choc à l'échec amoureux / The scene of first meeting from Baudelaire to Breton : from shock to loving failureBourkhis, Rimel 22 April 2013 (has links)
Starting from the sonnet "To a passer-by" of Baudelaire to lead to the writings of Breton by traversing a group of texts treating of the first meeting, we initially explored specificities of the poetic scene compared to the romantic scene studied by Jean Rousset. In a second step, we sought to understand the new features of modern scenario compared ti the classical and romantic settings. By sending to unknown crossed in a street of Paris the poem that she aroused the moment all at once of escaped eye, Baudelaire creates a new loving common place. In this sonnet, the spatiotemporal frame, the actors, the meeting and the love carry the imprint of the modernity until become the emblem. Other poets will take back on the mode of simulation or of variation the baudelerian model, and notably the figure of the passer-by. The poem of the first meeting becomes then the place of the celebration of a new feminine figure but especially of the lyric news which is nothing at least than an erotic of dividing distance.

Působnost valné hromady společnosti s ručením omezeným / Competencies of the General Meeting of a limited liability companyNývlt, Štěpán January 2012 (has links)
1 Abstract: Competencies of the General Meeting of a Limited Liability Company This thesis describes the competencies of the general meeting of a limited liability company. The paper consists of three major parts and one appendix. The first part is focused on the introduction and general information about limited liability company. I go through basic principles and their representation in the legal system of the Czech Republic. I also summarize the three main bodies of limited liability company. This first part is fairly brief - yet much needed - introduction, since the topic of this thesis lies in a little bit different area of law. The second part of this paper has more in common with the main topic. This part is divided into three sub articles: 2.1. the general meeting, 2.2 the decision of an only associate in the competencies of the general meeting and 2.3 the decisions outside the general meeting. The purpose of this part is not to span all issues connected with problems of decision- making processes in company limited. The main goal is to describe the differences, and to outline the possible problems that could consequently arise. The third part constitutes the main body of this thesis. It is divided into seventeen sub articles - a result of the extent of the topic as well as the structural complexity...
