Fysioterapeuters upplevelser och erfarenheter av att möta patienter via digitala videobesök : En kvalitativ intervjustudie / Physiotherapists' experiences and perceptions of meeting patients via digital video meetings : A qualitative interview study

Malmström, Ebba, Larsson, Kaj January 2022 (has links)
Background: The use of digital video meetings in physiotherapy has increased in recent years, particularly  in conjunction with the covid-pandemic. The current evidence for physiotherapists' experiences and perceptions of using digital video meetings is limited.  Purpose: To investigate physiotherapists experiences and perceptions of meeting patients through digital video meetings.  Method: The study has a qualitative design. Data were collected through semi structured interviews of five physiotherapists in primary care. The data was processed using qualitative content analysis.  Results: Collected data resulted in the following main categories: restrictions in the use of digital video meetings, benefits of digital video meetings and development of digital video meetings.  Conclusion: In summary, physiotherapists generally considered digital video meetings to be a good tool available. Mainly by increasing the accessibility to the physiotherapist and by contributing to  a more flexible job. They also described limitations in their work with video meetings. For instance, organizational obstacles and the absence of physical contact with the patient. Furthermore, different ways of developing the video meetings were presented. For example, technical opportunities for improvement and opportunities for more education in the field.

Learning in Architecture

Tyupkina, Maryana 02 November 1999 (has links)
Two entities, town and university, each playing different functional roles, different in scale and structure, come together at one point. The architecture of that point is a transitional condition. Each element has integrity on its own, and at the same time is a part of the system. The primary requirement for the architecture of this place is to be elegant and thoughtful. This idea is addressed in five scales within the project: the axis, the street, the paths, the wall, and the room. / Master of Architecture

Reimagine, Rebuild, Revive

Månsson, Mattias January 2021 (has links)
THESIS QUESTIONS This project revolves around rebuilding a site of a destroyed building in a cultural historically important area.  Acting within the context of the depopulated city this project will investigate how a new building can answer to some of the issues symptomatic of a decreasing and increasingly older population. This project will also investigate how a new building can be adjusted into a historical milieu, not by rebuilding the past, by rather by working with a developed identity.  CONTEXT/SITE The project takes place in Söderhamn, a small city by the coast in southern Norrland, Sweden.  The site is a part of the cultural historically important town hall square.  PROPOSAL The proposal consists of three main parts: a new building, a remodeling of an old building and a part which link them two together. The proposal contains senior apartments and a meeting place shared between residents and the public.

DŮM NA ÚPATÍ - MĚSTSKÝ DŮM V HISTORICKÉM CENTRU BRNA / HOUSE ON THE FOOTHILL - TOWN HOUSE IN THE HISTORICAL CENTRE

Veselá, Marie January 2013 (has links)
Potential sites lies not only in its location but also the dominant position it holds to their surroundings. Undeveloped plot represents a "node" or "island" ... loosening strictly linear character Bakery. It is a place which brings together three disparate streams - Classical serious at the running part of Mendel Square, dramatically quarreling upper section flowing into the area from Hus class and insignificant Anenská that, if there "just got lost." All "three" street, however, are closely connected with the plot and the transformation of space clearly indicates their transformation. A distinctive feature of the property is its visual exposure of looking from Mendel Square, the plot creates a "picture" to which the pawn closer. This image should be interesting, changing to attract one's attention for more than just one or two seconds. The image should not least communicate - what is happening on the ground, what links are individual objects ... a landmark and should, for use by infantrymen use. It should also not be attractive from a distance - when one zooms in close proximity, should be surprised by the discovery of something new, something that was not noticeable from a distance, it should be attention to detail, or idea that can be seen only at close contact.

Customer Relationship Marketing By Destination Marketing Organizations Does It Lead To Favorable Behavioral Intentions To Meeting Planners?

Lee, Jumyong 01 January 2011 (has links)
In convention market, one of the fastest growing sectors in hospitality industry, meeting planners play an important role to select a destination for their event. Therefore, a good relationship with them can be a competitive advantage for a convention destination considering a fierce competition among the destinations. The objective of this study is to develop an empirically valid relationship marketing (RM) model that would verify the antecedents, mediators, and consequence of the relationship between the destination marketing organization (DMO) and meeting planners. This study found three antecedents (i.e., customer orientation, familiarity, and reputation) of the RM mediating constructs that consist of satisfaction, trust, and commitment as well as consequence (i.e. behavioral intention) led by the RM mediators based on review of the literature. Therefore, the hypothesized relationships 1) between the antecedents and the mediators, 2) between the mediators, 3) and 3) between the mediators and the consequence in the model were tested by using structural equation modeling (SEM) with LISREL results. Eight out of eleven hypotheses were supported by the examination of path coefficients while 33 observed indicators were confirmed in the measurement model through confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The SEM results showed the significant relationships that lead to meaningful implications in both industry and academia while this study is not immune to limitations that can be the starting points of recommendations for future studies

Hed, Alicia, Malki, Sandi January 2022 (has links)
Today's society is changing and is becoming increasingly digital. When the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, the old patterns of society had to change in order to reduce the spread of infection. The pandemic made it possible to create change in working life as many had to work from home to avoid large crowds in the community. All meetings that used to be physical now became digital, and questions that could easily be asked to the colleague in the office now required a planned meeting. In this study, we have therefore chosen to study how teleworking has affected relationship building in working life. The study will focus on perceived obstacles that teleworkers have encountered when it comes to interacting through digital tools. We have chosen to limit our study to only those individuals who worked remotely and who only met their colleagues a few times physically. The results showed many advantages of working remotely, but many were skeptical of the concept at the beginning of the pandemic. Today, many believe that it is easier to combine work and private life when working remotely. On the other hand, the majority experience loneliness without social interaction and difficulties with communication through technology. It turned out, despite the disadvantages, that the majority wants to continue working remotely. Finally, the study showed that the physical contact between colleagues is significant for a personal relationship to exist at a distance. The participants in this study experienced that the physical workplace is the room for relationship building which means that today's technology is not enough.

Al-raheem, Leith January 2024 (has links)
This qualitative study explores the factors influencing safety and security in Ersboda from the perspective of individual residents. By focusing on the thoughts and experiences of seven inhabitants, the aim is to gain deeper insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the area. Safety and security are vital elements in creating an environment where residents can live and thrive without fear or worry. Considering these aspects, the study seeks to enhance understanding of how quality of life in Ersboda can be improved. Additionally, the research aims to delve into the social dynamics and perceived safety within the community. Through qualitative methods such as interviews, the study provides a platform for residents to express their views, experiences, and concerns, which can inform and shape future efforts to enhance safety and security in Ersboda.  Drawing on qualitative interviews with residents, the study reveals a significant variation in opinions regarding safety and security in the area, highlighting the subjective and complex nature of these concepts. While some respondents view safety as a feeling of freedom and stability, others emphasize the importance of actual protective measures such as police presence and surveillance cameras. Commonly, residents stress the significance of community spaces and social connections in fostering a sense of security. Additionally, the study explores the prevalence of social unrest, particularly among youth, and its impact on the perceived safety of the neighborhood. The findings underscore the role of technology, media representation, and community collaboration in addressing safety concerns. Overall, the study offers insights into the multifaceted nature of safety and security in Ersboda and provides recommendations for enhancing community well-being and safety measures.

Les cinq premières minutes : organisation des ouvertures en (web)conférence : analyse de pratiques interactionnelles en réunion professionnelle / The first five minutes : organization of openings in (web)conferences : analysis of interactional practices in work meetings

Veyrier, Clair-Antoine 06 November 2012 (has links)
This research aims at analyzing members’ interactional procedures interrelated with technology in professional distant work meetings. Webconference is a kind of audioconference system enhanced by web features allowing the users to manage the gathering, to chat, and to share screen, presentation, documents or applications. Based on video recordings of naturally occurring webconferences in work setting, the thesis analyzes how members take into account the specificities of the sociotechnical environment and mobilize verbal, nonverbal, and artefactual resources in order to accomplish situated actions. The study analyzes the complex transitional accomplishment of entering the meeting when opening the session. I examine how specific sequences reconfigure the way a meeting is opened and how the frame participation emerges in this specific distant setting. Opening and sustaining social relations in webconferences (and audioconferences as well) are not produced anymore within the model of a dyadic telephone call, where the ring produces a summons which makes relevant the standardized relational pair caller/called and organizes the call. Webconference is based on the model of the entrance. I analyze the repertoire of practices used by members to achieve the entrance into the meeting. I examine how a new standardized relational pair participant/moderator is made relevant to achieve and organize talk. At last I study systematic and multimodal procedures to delay the start of the meeting (pre-meeting) and to achieve a transition toward its beginning.

Průběh valné hromady akciové společnosti / The course of a general meeting of a joint-stock company

Kocián, Pavel January 2016 (has links)
- The course of a general meeting of a joint-stock company This diploma thesis, thematically divided into four chapters, is focused on the course of general meetings of Czech joint-stock companies as governed by the Act no. 90/2012 Coll., on Commercial Companies and Cooperatives as well as some other Acts in specific matters. The goal of this thesis is to describe the individual topics and issues related to the course of a general meeting beginning with its convocation, through its course (in strict sense) and ending with adopted resolution. This thesis works primarily with all the accessible information sources such as available study books, legal commentaries, articles and especially the relevant case law of Czech courts related to the topic of this thesis. Analytical and partly comparative methodology was used for the purpose of writing this thesis. General meeting of a joint-stock company as it supreme corporate body decides on the fundamental issues of the company and at the same time serves the company's shareholders, which are (through the general meeting) able to participate on the management of the company. For this reason, the legal regulation of general meetings of joint-stock companies is quite elaborate. Nevertheless, a number of interpretational issues related to this topic exist, as...
