A fim de contribuir para a reflexão sobre esses processos, bem como sobre as expressões reconhecidas como patrimônio por seus atores sociais, faz-se necessária a aproximação entre os diferentes segmentos das ciências, contemplando, assim, as dimensões históricas, espaciais e simbólicas das práticas culturais, numa perspectiva interdisciplinar. Desta forma, o presente trabalho apresenta questões referentes às políticas de salvaguarda do patrimônio cultural imaterial desenvolvidas no Brasil para, então, estabelecer um estudo pormenorizado sobre os processos de construção, consolidação e difusão da identidade cultural gaúcha, por meio da análise da formação territorial e social do Rio Grande do Sul e, especificamente, sobre o Movimento Tradicionalista Gaúcho / It is notorious in the last decades the human sciences, in general, and the Geography, have retaken the interest by studies regards to the cultural manifestations, specially regional and local, due to the countless demonstrations of its strengthening before the tendency of cultural homogenization oriented by globalization. In order to contribute to the reflection about these processes, and about the recognized expressions as a heritage by its social actors as well, it is made necessary the approximation among different segments of the science, contemplating, thus, the historical, spacial and symbolic dimensions of the cultural practices, in a interdisciplinary perspective. So, the present work presents questions relative to safeguard policies of the Intangible Cultural Heritage developed in Brazil to, then, establish a detailed studied about the construction, consolidation and propagation of the gaúcha cultural identity, through the analysis of the Rio Grande do Sul‟s territorial and social shaping and, specifically, about the Gaúcho Traditionalist Movement

This thesis investigates the portrayal of the Mariupol Theatre Airstrike withinthe Russo-Ukrainian War through a discourse analysis of news articles fromdiverse media outlets in Russia, Ukraine, France, Germany, the UK, and theUS. The study employs a qualitative comparative case study approach withinthe academic domain of targeting civilians in war. By applying the lenses oftraditionalist and revisionist perspectives within the theoretical framework ofJust War Theory, the research aims to understand how moral judgements aremanifested in the discourses presented by the media outlets reporting on theMariupol Theatre Airstrike. Notably, the findings reveal a dichotomy in media reporting: Russian mediaadopts a blend of traditionalist and revisionist positions, while Westernmedia also exhibits a blend of both positions, leaning more towards therevisionist perspective. By focusing on the specific case of the MariupolTheatre Airstrike, the study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis thatcontributes to the broader understanding of the complexities of media and theprovide a nuanced understanding on how moral judgments are being exhibited in the Russo-Ukrainian War.

Clothing became the main element of the set of references selected by the movement from 1947, from it people embrace the constituted identity, create personas and declare themselves as Gauchos. Due to the intense use of historical references on the movement practices, the imaginary is reinforced and results in the connection of the present with the past, creating meanings, evoking it as the different and emphasizing "me" and "the other". Therefore, the aim of this research was to verify the textual and imagery sources used in the book "Indumentária Gaucha" of the writer Antonio Augusto Fagundes, identifying and analyzing the historical references and the fashion aspects that rebound on the composition proposed by the author, and approved by the Gaucho Traditionalist Movement from the second half of the twentieth century / Esta investigação tece reflexões acerca do Movimento Tradicionalista Gaúcho e analisa o repertório imagético selecionado na composição da indumentária gaúcha institucionalizada. O vestuário constituiu-se como elemento central do conjunto de referências selecionadas pelo movimento a partir de 1947, a partir dele as pessoas se apropriam da identidade constituída, criam personas e se afirmam como gaúcho. Em razão da intensa utilização de referências históricas nas práticas do movimento, o imaginário se fortalece e resulta na conexão do presente com o passado, criando sentidos, evocando-o como o diferente e evidenciando o “eu” e o outro”. Desse modo, a pesquisa tem como objetivo verificar as fontes textuais e imagéticas utilizadas na obra Indumentária Gaúcha de Antonio Augusto Fagundes, identificando e analisando as referências históricas e aspectos da moda que reverberam na composição proposta pelo autor e aprovada pelo Movimento Tradicionalista Gaúcho a partir da segunda metade do século XX

The purpose of this study was to examine how academic deans perceived the characteristics of facility built environment and its impact on learning in higher education. Q methodology was used as the means to explore the subjective opinions of academic deans within the State of Florida regarding the facility built environment’s impact on learning in higher education. For this Q study, the concourse statements were the result of communications taken from the subject literature and participant responses to this study’s online concourse questionnaire. The resulting 32 item Q sample was sorted online by 43 academic deans, associate and assistant deans. In completing the survey, the participants ranked statements representative of the characteristics of facility built environment according to their own beliefs and subjective opinions. From the resulting data and subsequent analysis, three distinct factors emerged that represented the collective opinions of this study’s participants. The emergent factors for this study were named Traditionalist – Focused on Functionality and Universal Rationality; Modernist – Technology Conscious Seeking Innovation and Flexibility; and Abstractionist – Contextual and Expressive.
