Ungdomspartiers Roll : - En studie om ungdomspartiers förmedlande av den egna rollen inom den svenska demokratin

Johansson, Nataniel, Lindqvist, Kevin January 2023 (has links)
This paper was written with the purpose of examine which role youth parties communicate to have for their contribution to the swedish democracy. This was accomplished by using the theory of the democratic process created by Robert. A Dahl. The youth parties webpages, social media and accessible documents was used in the analysis, the sampled parties was “Ung vänster” (the young left wing), “Liberala ungdomsförbundet” (the young liberals) and “Ungsvenskarna” (The swedish youths). The result being that all three are contributing to the democracy by showing different primary roles yet still being able to fill some of the other criteria as well, however to a lesser extent. “Ung vänster” communicates a role which connects to the criteria of “control of the agenda” which means they have taken on the function of influencing the decision makers of society. “Liberala ungdomsförbundet” has instead chosen to put their focus in spreading information about the main thoughts of the liberal ideology, this role connects to the criteria of “enlightened understanding”. “Ungsvenskarna” is primarily focusing on communicating a function of recruiting and educating new party members with the goal to create future politicians for the main party, this role connects to the criteria of “effective participation”.

Security Tools in DevSecOps : A Systematic Literature Review / Säkerhetsverktyg i DevSecOps : En systematisk litteraturöversikt

Martelleur, Joel, Hamza, Amina January 2022 (has links)
DevSecOps emerged to mitigate the challenges of integrating security into DevOps. DevOps have grown tremendously, leading to difficulties in integrating security tools in its development process while maintaining speed and agility. This study aims to investigate the security tools in DevSecOps and how they have been reported in previous literature. The main objective of this study is to provide a knowledge base concerning security tools in DevSecOps that can be used to mitigate challenges regarding the selection and use of security tools in the context of DevSecOps. A systematic literature review was adopted for the research. The study collected a total of  228 studies published between 2015 and 2022; fourteen of these papers were selected to be used for data extraction after conducting a thorough review protocol. This study has identified thirteen security tool categories used or recommended to be used in DevSecOps. These tools have been structured into seven phases of the development process and five security practices. Additionally, this study has identified twelve drawbacks and sixteen recommendations concerning the use of these security tools in DevSecOps.  The security tools categories, recommendations, and drawbacks identified in this study could potentially be used to facilitate the challenges of selecting and using security tools in DevSecOps and similar methodologies that rely on automation and delivering software frequently.

Könsskillnader i politisk ideologi : En komparativ analys av europeiska länder 2002–2020

Olsson, Elsa, Rikner, Jon January 2024 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to increase knowledge about gender differences in ideological orientations in Europe. We use quantitative methods and survey data from European Social Survey (ESS) to examine 25 countries in Europe over time and investigate if there is a correlation between gender equality and the gender gap in self-placement on the political left-right scale. The study examines how the political gender gap has developed through time, and how the trends differ between men and women. The study also examines how gender equality has evolved over time in comparison to the gender gap in political ideology. Furthermore, it examines whether different ideological dimensions might affect self-placement on the left-right scale for men and women. The results show that the gender gap has increased in general across Europe. However, there is substantial variation across the countries. In several countries, the gender gap in ideological orientations decreases over time. The study found different tendencies in how the gender gap has been changing through time in relation to how gender equality has developed. We also found that some ideological factors have a greater effect on women’s self-placement compared to men’s and vice versa.

The Salience of Issues in Parliamentary Debates : Its Development and Relation to the Support of the Sweden Democrats

Alexander, Ödlund Lindholm January 2020 (has links)
The aim of this study was to analyze the salience of issue dimensions in the Swedish parliament debates by the established parties during the rise of the Sweden Democrats Party (SD). Structural topic modeling was used to construct a measurement of the salience of issues, examining the full body of speeches in the Swedish parliament between September 2006 and December 2019. Trend analysis revealed a realignment from a focus on socio-economic to socio-cultural issues in Swedish politics. Cross-correlation analyses had conflicting results, indicating a weak positive relationship between the salience of issues and the support of SD – but low predictive ability; it also showed that changes in the support of SD did lead (precede) changes in the salience of issues in the parliament. The ramifications of socio-cultural issues being the most salient are that so-called radical right-wing populist parties (RRPs), or neo-nationalist parties, has a greater opportunity to gain support. It can make voters more inclined to base their voting decision on socio-cultural issues, which favors parties who fight for and are trustworthy in those issues – giving them more valence in the eyes of the voters.
