Este trabalho analisa a trajetória do Grupo Mulheres da Terra, cuja formação ocorreu na área II do Assentamento de Sumaré, no ano de 1985, no Estado de São Paulo. O grupo possui um percurso histórico de 22 anos, na perspectiva de conquistas sociais garantidas na Constituição aprovada em 1988 - terra, trabalho, moradia, educação, transporte, saúde e eqüidade nas relações de poder entre homens e mulheres. Estes foram temas que nortearam suas ações, que engendraram conquistas para todos os membros do assentamento. O percurso da pesquisa conduziu-nos ao encontro de vários atores sociais, envolvidos em diversas estratégias de resistência e circunscritos às ações de inúmeros mediadores sociais, empenhados na defesa da reforma agrária. Ao longo de duas décadas, inúmeros projetos foram desenvolvidos entre o Grupo Mulheres da Terra e os agentes mediadores. Muitos encontros e desencontros aconteceram pelo caminho. Para compreender o papel da trajetória do Grupo na história do assentamento e nas relações de gênero dentro do mesmo, como percurso de movimento social que se consagrava como espaço da luta pela terra, tomamos a História Oral de Vida das mulheres que participaram da trajetória do Grupo Mulheres da Terra da área II do assentamento de Sumaré como uma das fontes privilegiados de nosso estudo. / This work analyses the path of the Grupo Mulheres da Terra (Women of the Land), Which was initiated in area II in the Sumaré Settlement, in 1985, in São Paulo State. The group has a 22 year history of social achievements granted by the 1988 Constitution - land, work, housing, education, transportation, health care and equity in relationship between men and women. These themes have led their actions, which brought benefits for all members of the community, such as the school, electric energy, school transportation, artesian well, the family health care unit, retirement plan for women, the \"Esperança\" green house and the community kitchen. The pursuit of this research has presented us with several social actors, involved in different strategies and related to the actions o a large number of social mediators, committed to the defense of the agrarian reform. In the course of two decades, many projects were carried out by the Grupo Mulheres da Terra and the mediator agents, a relationship that was not free of conflicts. To understand the role of the Group\'s path in the settlement\'s history and in its internal gender relations as a process of a social movement that was establishing itself as a medium of the struggle for the land, we took the Oral History of the lives of the women that were part of the Grupo Mulheres da Terra of area II of the Sumaré settlement as one of the most important sources of our work.

Uppsatsen syftar till att synliggöra folkbiblioteksutvecklingen i Luleå, samt att lyfta fram fler kvinnor som bidragit till folkbiblioteksutvecklingen i Sverige. Studien undersöker vilka faktorer som påverkat progressionen av Luleå kommuns folkbibliotek, samtidigt som dessa sätts i relation till Sveriges biblioteksutveckling. Trots att Valfrid Palmgren beundrade och framhävde Luleås folkbibliotek i sin skrift år 1911, är Norrbottens bibliotekshistoria tämligen dold för omvärlden. Luleås bibliotek var bland de första biblioteken i Sverige som utsågs till centralbibliotek, där bibliotekarien Olga Bardh anställdes som chef. Olga Bardh var en välutbildad kvinna med stora visioner om att skapa ett modernt och framstående bibliotek i Luleå och Norrbotten. Denna studie ämnar undersöka vilken betydelse hennes arbete hade för biblioteksutvecklingen, och på vilket sätt detta i så fall yttrade sig. Uppsatsens teoretiska utgångspunkter utgår från Christina Florins (1987) teorier om den svenska folkskolans feminiserings- och professionaliseringsprocess i början på 1900-talet, Yvonne Hirdmans (2004) teorier om genussystemet, samt Hanna Westberg-Wohlgemuths (1996) teorier om könsmärkning. Med hjälp av kritisk diskursanalys har det empiriska materialet analyserats i hopp om att verka för social förändring, där undertryckta samhällsgrupper synliggörs.

Pensar na saúde e segurança no trabalho remete diretamente às medidas de proteção para evitar acidentes graves ou mortes em decorrência do trabalho, associadas a profissões geralmente masculinas. Os riscos ocupacionais a que as mulheres estão expostas são geralmente invisibilizados, fazendo crer que proteger o trabalhador é também proteger todas as trabalhadoras. No entanto, não existe o indivíduo padrão, tampouco ciência neutra, pois quem necessita de proteção são seres humanos concretos, e o processo saúde-trabalho é mediado por fatores sociais, econômicos e culturais, em especial, pelas relações de gênero. A compreensão dessas imbricações só é possível com o emprego do gênero como categoria de análise do meio ambiente do trabalho, o que possibilita romper com a abordagem da saúde das mulheres trabalhadoras estritamente da perspectiva da maternidade ou da fragilidade. Esta dissertação propõe-se a ampliar o conhecimento das influências das relações de gênero na saúde e segurança no trabalho, desconstruindo naturalizações e estereótipos sobre feminilidade arraigados no Direito do Trabalho, na busca por compreender se as mulheres precisam de tutela especial, se sua saúde e segurança está de fato protegida pelas normas hoje vigentes e se essas normas promovem igualdade ou discriminação. Três grandes temas que interferem na relação das mulheres com o trabalho nos servirão de eixos para a análise das principais normas e questões trabalhistas que envolvem sua saúde e segurança: a maternidade; o corpo feminino e sua capacidade física; e a saúde mental. Objetiva-se contribuir para o aprofundamento da pesquisa acadêmica sobre a relação entre gênero e saúde e segurança no trabalho, bem como desconstruir preconceitos e apresentar algumas propostas para que as normas do Direito do Trabalho superem paradigmas sexistas e possam evoluir no sentido da promoção da igualdade entre homens e mulheres, essencial para a construção do equilíbrio do meio ambiente de trabalho. / To think about safety and health at work leads to inquiry what protective measures can prevent major accidents or deaths due to work, usually associated with professions dominated by men. The occupational hazards to which women are exposed are usually invisible, since it is believed that protecting the worker encompasses protecting all female workers. However, there is neither a standard individual, nor a neutral science, because those who are in need of protection are concrete human beings, and the health-work process is mediated by social, economic and cultural factors, in particular, gender relations. The understanding of these overlaps is only possible if gender is mobilized as a category of analysis of the work environment. Moreover, gender makes it possible to break with the approach of womens health at work strictly from the perspective of motherhood or fragility. This dissertation intends to extend the knowledge about the influence of gender relations on safety and health at work, and to deconstruct naturalizations and stereotypes built around femininity that are rooted in Labour Law. It seeks to understand whether women need special protection, if their health and security is actually protected by today\'s current standards, and if those standards promote equality or discrimination. Three major themes that mediate the relationship between women and work guide the analysis of the main standards and labor issues involving their safety and health: motherhood; the female body and its physical ability; and mental health. This work aims at contributing to the scholarship on the relationship between gender and safety and health at work, as well as to deconstruct prejudices and present some proposals for labor law standards to overcome sexist paradigms towards the promotion of gender equality an essential condition to the construction of a balanced work environment.
