O presente trabalho insere-se nos estudos comparativos e busca analisar a obra literária a partir de teorias de diferentes campos do saber. Deste modo, escolheu-se o romance Satolep, do escritor pelotense Vitor Ramil, o qual contribui para que se possa olhar a obra literária através de conceitos da geografia, da sociologia, da antropologia, da arquitetura e urbanismo, da psicologia, enfim, permitindo assim um estudo interdisciplinar. O objetivo da presente análise foi considerar o percurso da personagem Selbor – o fotógrafo de Satolep – pelos muitos lugares por onde andou, lugares que englobam cidades ao Norte e também os espaços dentro da cidade de Satolep e seus arredores. Esse percurso é delineado por conflitos, incertezas, descobertas, aprendizados, amadurecimento, e permite pensar sobre diferentes questões da cidade: os aspectos físicos, a viagem, a memória – de um indivíduo sobre seu lugar e também a memória da cidade gravada através de registros em fotografias e livros. Seguiu-se sempre no encalço de Selbor, buscando-se entender a relação entre indivíduo e cidade em todos os momentos do relato, relação essa de equivalência de significado para a obra, na qual o objeto se mostra para o sujeito e este o interpreta, sendo ao mesmo tempo também formado, moldado. Assim, dividiu-se a análise em quatro momentos de acordo com cada percurso empreendido por Selbor: o percurso para cidades próximas ao Sol e o consequente retorno a Satolep; o percurso dentro da cidade de Satolep em busca de um sentido para a razão da volta; o distanciamento para os arredores da cidade numa pausa que permitiu um olhar para seus sentimentos interiores; e o percurso final por Satolep empreendido agora por um homem totalmente maduro e apaziguado consigo mesmo. / This research is part of the comparative studies and tries to analyze the literary work through different theories. It would be possible with the novel Satolep, by Vitor Ramil, which contributes to bring up geography, sociology, anthropology, architecture, psychology and other concepts, making possible an interdisciplinary research. The objective of this research is to consider the course of Selbor – Satolep‟s photographer – to many places that include cities in the North and also distances within Satolep and its neighborhood. Selbor‟s course is full of conflicts, uncertainties, findings, improvements, maturation, and makes possible to us think about some questions around the city like: material aspects, travels and memory – the remembers someone has from its native place and also the memory of the city found in images and books, or other papers. We followed the way Selbor has gone with the intention to understand person and city relationship during all moments of the narrative. In this relationship the object is there to be interpreted by the guy in the same time as the guy improves himself and acquires personal improvements. Furthermore, the research is divided in four moments according to Selbor‟s course: travelling to cities near the Sun and the soon coming back; the course within Satolep limits in the way of searching the reason for being back; the trip to Satolep‟s neighborhood which was a break for himself and made him look to inside sensations; and, finally, the tour within Satolep made by a man who was totally conscious and sensible to everything the city has to offer.
