Abstract An allowance fot the care is rather a new institute which is the main implement of the model of social services established 1/1 2007 on the basis of the law 108/2006 Statute Book about social services. This contribution relates to providing social services. The creation took 13 years and brought many amendments to this sphere ? not only a new conception of social services, their kinds, forms and conditions of providing, it also introduced a new approach to financial source for persons who need it in their unfavourable situation. Current allowance in the process of the care for a close or other person was replaced with an allowance for the care. The aim of this work is a mapping of offers of the social services in the territory of Trhové Sviny and to find if beneficiaries of these allowances for the care use more an assistance providing by the close person or by a registered provider of social services. The results of this research point out that in most cases the assistance of the close person is used. This dissertation could be used for a community planning and as an information material for Sviny´s inhabitants and providers of the local social services.

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of social work conducted in the Psychiatric Institution Červený Dvůr, which specializes in the treatment of addiction to habit-forming substances. The social work in this institution is part of the therapeutic process and it is an important tool for dealing with social consequences. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the issues of social work, social worker's role in health service and social services for the target group of people addicted to habit-forming substances. This part is also marginally devoted to the issues of addiction and social work with persons who have problems with habit-forming substances. The practical part is realized using qualitative research, the method of questioning. Data was collected using the technique of a semi-structured interview. The first research group was composed of 3 social workers. The method of total selection was used for the construction of the group. The other group consisted of the patients currently hospitalized. A research sample of 12 patients was selected from this group using the method of quota selection. All the interviews conducted were processed; the data was categorized and tabularized. The objective of the thesis was to map the methods and techniques of social work used by social workers in their work with the patients and which social assistance is used by patients most frequently. Another objective was to find out whether the patients are adequately informed about the potential of social work and whether they are satisfied with the provision of social assistance. The research has shown that social work has its fixed place in comprehensive treatment and that it is supported by all the members of the treatment team. The research has shown that the social workers used frequently the methods of working with individuals, groups, families and communities, the using the techniques of interviews, active listening, role play and visual instruction. They mainly apply the task-focused approach. The social workers cooperate most frequently with the members of the treatment team, with the patients, their families and staff of many other institutions. The research has also shown that the patients use social, legal and professional advisory most of all. They use most commonly some assistance in the procurement of new personal documents, when dealing with their debt problems, with finding suitable housing and employment, in resolving family problems and the consequences of crime. The research results have also shown that the patients are well informed about social assistance and they are very satisfied with its provision. I believe that the objectives of my thesis have been met and that the research questions have been answered. The thesis could serve to provide information about how social work is conducted in such specific institutions. The results could be an incentive to make the working conditions for the conduct of social work and improvements in the provision of social assistance more efficient.

The present thesis is concerned with the ideas that social work students have of their future profession. The theoretical part defines and characterizes social work, its mission, objectives and methods. Furthermore, the theoretical part describes the history of education of social workers in the Czech Republic, where it examines in detail the beginnings of this type of education, areas of work of social workers and the development of social work in connection with education from the World War Two to the present. The following chapter is engaged in the education system regarding social work at present. The last chapter looks at social work as a profession. This chapter further depicts and defines ancillary professions, identifying areas of self-realisation of graduates from social work studies, and finally, it describes ethics in social work. The objective of our thesis is to ascertain the ideas of social work students of their future profession, for example, the thesis identifies the kind of workplaces such students would prefer to work at, the target group they would be interested in, and, in point of fact, if such students want to find thein jobs within the field of their study. The practical part uses the quantitative research method, which was conducted by means of a questionnaire technique. The research group consisted of social work students at the Faculty of Health and Social Studies and Theological Faculty of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The research based on questionnaires was carried out both in Bachelor's and Master's study programmes. Only full-time students participated in the research. Pre-research was conducted before the research per se. The following hypothesis was set forth: ,,Students of social work want to work within their field of study." The above hypothesis was tested statistically by means of non-parametric testing in the SPSS programme. McNemar's test was used, which proved that the values ,,he/she wants to work within their field of study" and ,,he/she does not want to work within their field of study" do not show significant mutual differences and their probability is the same. Based on the test, a sufficient difference was identified between the resulting signification at the significance level of 0,5; accordingly, the zero hypothesis ,,Students of social work do not want to work within their field of study" was declined, and the hypothesis set forth was confirmed. The findings imply that students have different plans as to their future professions. In particular, this regards workplaces and target groups with which students would like to work, and the query if students want to work within their field of study. For most part, students want to work in the state administration, in nongovernmental non-profit organizations, and chiefly with children. In addition, a part of students emerged that do not wish to find their jobs within the discipline they currently study. Other considerable differences were identified in particular categories that were examined regarding the aspect of student's willingness or unwillingness to work as social workers, the reasons why they want or do not want to work within thein fields of study, practice in the social area (outside their school practice), search for a job during studies, and the key activities of social workers. These differences are further described in the discussion part. The conclusion gives a description of the research findings and assesses the complex problems of ideas that social work students have as regards their future profession; in particular, the problematic self-realisation of this group in the employment market. The author outlines possible solutions to these problems. Moreover, other issues related to the theme discussed are considered. Options of possible utilization of the present thesis are delineated towards the end of the thesis.

The aim of the Master Thesis is to identify the proportion of authoritarian personality of future social workers. In line with the objective of the work, the research question has been formulated in the following way: On what factors does the proportion of the authoritarian personalities of future social workers depend? Based on the research question the following hypothesis has been determined: Students of the programme Social Work in Public Administration are more authoritarian than the students of the programme Rehabilitation Psychosocial Care of Handicapped Children, Adults and the Seniors. Students of part-time studies are more authoritarian than students of programme Rehabilitation Psychosocial Care of Handicapped Children, Adults and the Seniors. With the increasing age, the proportion of authoritarianism grows. The quantitative research strategy, which was implemented using the questionnaire method through a standardized questionnaire, was selected to achieve the goal. The questioned team consisted of future social workers, namely students of Faculty of Health and Social Sciences in České Budějovice programme Social Work in Public Administration and Rehabilitation Psychosocial Care for Children, Adults and Seniors. Translation of F-scale was taken from the publication of T. W. Adorno. Data analysis were evaluated using descriptive statistics in MS Excel and hypothesis testing was performed in the SPSS statistical program. The research shows that in the first hypothesis statistically significant relationship has been captured in the properties of conventionalisms, authoritarian submission, authoritarian aggression, anti-intraception, power and toughness, destructiveness, projectivity and sexuality. In the second hypothesis, it was tested whether the students studying part-time are more authoritarian than students of full-time studies. A significant relationship was noted in attributes of subordination and authoritarian aggression. In the third hypothesis, it was demonstrated that a statistically significant relationship was detected in the attributes of subordination, authoritarian aggression, and superstition. The outputs of the Master Thesis research can be provided as a feedback for students or social workers. The results could be of interest to the students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Authoritarian personality has not yet been processed for social workers.

In this sense, the school is one of the spaces in which they reveal the contradictions of the capitalist system and where manifest numerous expressions of social issues. In recent years, public education, private and philanthropic Brazil, has been configured as an emerging area of activity of the social worker and meets the needs of increasing socio- institutional conditions of access, retention and democratization processes and the quality of education in different levels and types of education. For this bias , this dissertation is aimed to analyze the Social Service in the school, highlighting the theoretical- methodological, ethical-political and technical- operative present in the professional practice of social workers in the schools of João Pessoa. The study was part of the assumptions of an analysis of quantitative and qualitative research, based on the principles of content analysis with an exploratory approach and the light of dialectical critical method. It was found that the performance of social work is presented through activities involving planning, implementation and monitoring, seeking student development and citizenship through access and stay in school. The insertion of the social worker in education does not constitute a recent phenomenon, but remote to the early years of the profession, this insertion has regional and local peculiarities, in this perspective, the survey provided an opportunity us to identify the deployment process, legitimation and maturation of practice professional in the school of municipal schools in João Pessoa -PB. The survey results indicate that the professional practice of social worker is part of a field riddled with limitations and challenges, but also many possibilities. The social worker in the school operates from the perspective of defense and guarantee of rights, especially in mediating between family / school / community / social protection network, through a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary work. Without pretending to exhaust the subject, the study provides a reading of these issues with the scope to provide a contribution on this theme. / A educação enquanto política pública é um espaço contraditório de lutas de classes, tensionada por projetos sociais em disputa, que historicamente caracteriza-se por um lastro de batalhas ideológicas, econômicas e sociais. Neste sentido, a escola é um dos espaços em que se revelam as contradições do sistema capitalista e onde se manifestam inúmeras expressões da questão social. Nos últimos anos a educação pública, privada e filantrópica brasileira tem se configurado como uma área emergente de atuação do assistente social e corresponde às exigências sócio-institucionais de aumento das condições de acesso, permanência e processos de democratização e qualidade da educação nos diferentes níveis e modalidades de ensino. Por este viés, esta dissertação tem como objetivo central analisar o Serviço Social no espaço escolar, destacando as dimensões teórico-metodológica, ético-política e técnico-operativa presentes no exercício profissional dos assistentes sociais que atuam nas escolas municipais de João Pessoa-PB. O estudo inseriu-se nos pressupostos de uma análise quanti-qualitativa de pesquisa, baseado nos princípios da análise de conteúdo, com abordagem e caráter exploratório à luz do método crítico dialético. Constatou-se que a atuação do serviço social se apresenta através de atividades que envolvem planejamento, execução e acompanhamentos, buscando o desenvolvimento do aluno e o exercício da cidadania por meio do acesso e permanência na escola. A inserção do assistente social na educação não se constitui em um fenômeno recente, mas remota aos anos iniciais da profissão, essa inserção apresenta peculiaridades regionais e locais, nesta perspectiva, a pesquisa nos oportunizou identificar o processo de implantação, legitimação e amadurecimento da prática profissional no espaço escolar da rede municipal de ensino de João Pessoa-PB. Os resultados da pesquisa apontam que a prática profissional do assistente social se insere em um campo eivado de limites e desafios, mas também de muitas possibilidades. O assistente social no espaço escolar atua na perspectiva de defesa e garantia de direitos, sobretudo, na mediação existente entre família / escola / comunidade / rede de proteção social, através de um trabalho multiprofissional e interdisciplinar. Sem pretender exaurir o assunto, o estudo fornece uma leitura destas questões com escopo de propiciar uma contribuição acerca dessa temática.

Previous issue date: 2017-06-28 / Esta dissertação tem como temática central “gestão e Serviço Social”. O objetivo geral consiste em “compreender e analisar o processo de gestão no trabalho do assistente social na Microrregional de São José do Rio Preto – ABEPSS Sul II”. Visando, assim, apreender o processo de reconhecimento e apropriação da gestão no Serviço Social, pois a partir da experiência empírica da pesquisadora, observou-se que muitos profissionais que compõem a categoria de assistentes sociais apresentam resistência em reconhecer a gestão como área de conhecimento, espaço de trabalho e instrumento técnico-operativo propositivo no exercício profissional. Esta pesquisa parte do pressuposto de que o processo de formação profissional é preponderante para o reconhecimento e a apropriação da gestão no âmbito do Serviço Social, visto que se consolida como processo de fundamentação teórico-metodológico, ético-político e técnico-operativo do trabalho profissional, portanto, constitui-se como momento determinante para a fundamentação sobre as dimensões teórico-práticas da gestão. Dessa forma, entende-se que a resistência em reconhecer e se apropriar da gestão fundada na perspectiva democrática e emancipadora poderia estar relacionada ao modo como a disciplina de gestão é organizada e desenvolvida nas Unidades de Formação Acadêmicas (UFAs). Nesse sentido, a pesquisa empírica fundamentou-se na entrevista de discentes e docentes de três UFAs selecionadas na amostra da pesquisa e que pertencem a Microrregional de São José do Rio Preto/SP da ABEPSS Sul II. Utilizou-se, no presente trabalho, o estudo sócio histórico como método de interpretação da realidade; a pesquisa caracterizou-se por sua natureza exploratória e abordagem qualitativa. E a partir da apreensão dos docentes e discentes confirmou-se que o processo de graduação é determinante para o entendimento, o reconhecimento e a apropriação da gestão no Serviço Social. Dessa forma, o conteúdo proposto e desenvolvido em sala de aula influencia na apreensão da importância, das possibilidades e da finalidade da gestão no trabalho do assistente social. Assim, o entendimento sobre a gestão no Serviço social parte da experiência singular vivenciada pelo assistente social no processo de formação profissional. / This dissertation has the central theme "management and Social Work". The general objective was to "understand and analyze the management process in the social worker's in São José do Rio Preto Microregional – ABEPSS South II". In order to understand the recognition process and appropriation of management in Social Work, since the empirical experience of the researcher, it was observed that many professionals who make up the social workers category present resistance in recognizing management as a knowledge area, workspace and technical-operative instrument propose in the professional practice. We assume that the vocational training process is preponderant for the recognition and appropriation of management in the scope of Social Work, since it consolidates itself as a process of theoretical-methodological, ethical-political and technical-operational foundation of professional work, therefore it is a decisive moment for the target practice dimensions of the management. By this way, we understand that resistance in recognizing and appropriating management based on a democratic and emancipatory perspective, will be related to the mode a management subject is organized and developed in Academic Training Units (UFAs). In this sense, the empirical research was based on the student and teacher interview of three UFAs selected in the sample of the research that belongs to the Microregional of São José do Rio Preto / SP of ABEPSS South II. It was used a socio-historical study as a method of interpretation of reality. The research was characterized by its exploratory nature and qualitative approach. From the appreciation of the documents and calculation we confirm that the graduation process is decisive for the understanding, recognition and appropriation of the non-Social Service management. In this way, the content proposed and developed in the classroom influences the apprehension of importance, possibilities and purpose of management in the work of the social worker. Therefore, the understanding about a non-social service management is based on the unique experience experienced by the social worker in the process of professional training.

Isso se deve ao importante papel desempenhado na morbimortalidade da população mundial e no Brasil. Entre essas doenças, está a insuficiência renal crônica, que se traduz em uma série de mudanças na vida dos trabalhadores e está em evidência na atualidade. Os usuários em diálise encontram-se privados muitas situações e atividades que interferem em sua qualidade de vida, apesar dos avanços tecnológicos da hemodiálise. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo conhecer o impacto social decorrente do processo de hemodiálise na vida dos trabalhadores com insuficiência renal crônica. A metodologia utilizada é a pesquisa exploratória, por meio de entrevista semiestruturada com 6 (seis) sujeitos em programa de hemodiálise, de ambos os sexos, na faixa etária de 20 a 45 anos, em período inicial de tratamento. O estudo tem natureza quanti-qualitativa, com dados obtidos pela análise documental e utiliza como base a orientação teórica do materialismo histórico-dialético. Os resultados dão visibilidade às expressões da questão social implicadas no processo de saúde-doença do sujeito em hemodiálise, decifrando a realidade, ampliando o conhecimento no campo de trabalho e suas particularidades, onde o impacto constitui um paradoxo, pois de um lado estão presentes o alívio dos sintomas da doença e a sobrevida e, de outro, a dependência do tratamento, as restrições e os reflexos que afligem a vida do usuário e de sua família, gerados por um sistema econômico que viola os direitos de saúde da classe trabalhadora / Chronic diseases have received increased attention of professionals in recent decades. This is due to the important role played in morbi-mortality of the world population and in Brazil. Among these diseases are chronic renal failure, which translates into a series of changes in workers' lives and is in evidence today. Users on dialysis are deprived in many situations and activities that interfere with their quality of life, despite the technological advances of hemodialysis. This study aims to evaluate the social impact of the process of hemodialysis on workers with chronic renal failure. The methodology employed is the exploratory research, using semistructured interviews with 6 (six) patients on hemodialysis, both sexes, aged from 20 to 45 years in the early period of treatment. The study has both quantitative and qualitative elements, with data obtained by the documental analysis and uses as a basis theoretical orientation of the historic- dialectical materialism. The expected results give visibility to expressions of social issues involved in the process of health and illness of the patient in hemodialysis, deciphering the reality, expanding knowledge in the field of work and its peculiarities, where the impact is a paradox, because on one side are presents the symptom relief of the disease and survival and, secondly, the dependence on treatment, restrictions and reflections that affect the user's life and his family, generated by an economic system that violates the rights of health of the working class

Esta dissertação analisa o trabalho do Assistente Social no Programa Saúde da Família PSF, tomando por base o município de Ipatinga-MG. Buscou-se mostrar a concepção de parte da gestão local da Política de Saúde e dos profissionais da equipe básica do programa sobre o trabalho do Assistente Social na saúde e no PSF, e se esse profissional tem conseguido realizar um trabalho que contribua para a efetivação do programa enquanto estratégia de reorientação do modelo assistencial na atenção básica. O estudo foi desenvolvido através da metodologia de estudo caso, com enfoque qualitativo. A coleta de dados se deu por meio de consultas documentais e bibliográficas sobre a Política de Saúde e PSF a nível nacional e municipal; visitas às unidades básicas de saúde e a realização de entrevistas com uma porcentagem dos gerentes, dos profissionais da equipe básica e com os Assistentes Sociais. O estudo apontou que, o profissional de Serviço Social não vem conseguindo realizar um trabalho em conjunto com o Saúde da Família, se limitando aos atendimentos de casos isolados, assumindo papel complementar e subsidiário aos profissionais da equipe básica, não conseguindo, assim, contribuir para a concretização do programa enquanto estratégia que traga mudanças na organização dos serviços de atenção básica em saúde no município. / This dissertation examines the work of the social worker in the Family Health Program - PSF, based on the Ipatinga-MG. We tried to show the design of the local management of health policy and professional team basic program on the work of the social worker in health and PSF, and this work has succeeded in making work that contributes to the realization of program as a strategy for reorienting the care model in primary care. The study was developed through case study methodology, focusing on quality. Data collection occurred through consultation documents and literature on health policy and PSF at national and municipal levels; visits to primary health care and interviews with a percentage of managers, professionals from the basic and the Social Workers. The study found that the professional social work has been unable to perform work in conjunction with the Family Health care is limited to isolated cases, assuming a role complementary and alternative practitioners in the core team, failing thus to contribute to carrying out the program as a strategy to bring changes in the organization of services of primary health care in the city.

Analyzes the national Program of Student Assistance (PNAES) from the perspective of social workers from the federal university of Campina Grande (UFCG) and the federal university of Paraíba (UFPB). And for both, contemplates three specific goals, which are: contextualize the university reform in the current social – historical context of counter – reformation wrought by the Brazilian state in time of capital crisis; Evaluate the implementation of PNAES on UFCG and UFPB in the light of the operation areas of this program; And analyze the impacts of supporting plans and restructuring and expansion of the federal universities program (Reuni) in the demands posed by social workers student assistance programs of these universities. The theoretical and methodological framework focuses on the Marxist tradition from the critical analysis of capitalist society that generates profound inequalities that are expressed in the materiality of the social question, Being the social unprotection one of the most incidents. In methodological terms, is typified as a social applied research critical-evaluative character along with 11 social assistants, inserted on campuses UFCG: Patos (01), Cajazeiras (01), Cuité (01), Sumé (01), Campina Grande (02), Sousa (01). The research questions that guide this study were affirmed in results on demonstrate that the 10 thematic areas proposed for management and implementation of PNAES are not executed by UFCG and UFPB. Stand out so only actions for housing and food, and feebly actions of Sport and Health. Confirmed the subsidiary character of Reuni and ENEM/SiSu as factors facilitating access to Higher Education for empoverished population segments in the federal universities of Paraíba. However, the Student Assistance is not universalized, but limited to focused, residual and exclusionary actions, wich rebate in the professional practices of social worker marked by selectivity under the sing of patronage and conservatism. / O presente estudo investigativo configura-se como uma Dissertação de Mestrado Acadêmico vinculado ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Serviço Social da Universidade Federal da Paraíba. Analisa o Programa Nacional de Assistência Estudantil (PNAES) a partir da perspectiva dos assistentes sociais da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG) e da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB). Objetiva avaliar a assistência estudantil em torno da efetividade do PNAES nas universidades federais do estado da Paraíba. Para tanto, contempla três objetivos específicos, quais sejam: contextualizar a Reforma Universitária na atual conjuntura sócio-histórica de contrarreforma forjada pelo Estado brasileiro em tempo de crise do Capital; avaliar a implementação do PNAES na UFCG e na UFPB à luz das áreas de atuação desse Programa; e analisar os impactos do Programa de Apoio a Planos de Reestruturação e Expansão das Universidades Federais (Reuni) nas demandas postas aos assistentes sociais pelos Programas de Assistência Estudantil dessas Universidades. O referencial teórico-metodológico centra-se no marco da tradição marxista a partir da análise crítica da sociedade capitalista que gera profundas desigualdades que se expressam na materialidade da questão social, sendo a desproteção social uma das mais incidentes. Em termos metodológicos, tipifica-se como uma pesquisa social aplicada de caráter avaliativo-crítico junto a 11 assistentes sociais, inseridos/as nos campi da UFCG: Patos [01], Cajazeiras [01], Cuité [01], Sumé [01], Campina Grande [02], Sousa [01]; e nos campi da UFPB: João Pessoa [03] e Areia [01]. Os campi de Bananeiras e do Litoral Norte (Rio Tinto e Mamanguape) da UFPB não possuem assistentes sociais nos seus quadros de recursos humanos. Em termos éticos, a pesquisa se embasou na nova Resolução nº 466/12 do Conselho Nacional de Saúde, obtendo aprovação do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da UFPB conforme Certidão em anexo no corpo deste trabalho. Recorreu-se a instrumentos e técnicas quanti-qualitativas com uso de questionário, de formulário, da entrevista semiestruturada, da análise estatística descritiva e da análise de conteúdo por categorização temática. As questões de pesquisa que orientaram este estudo foram afirmadas nos resultados ao demonstrar que as 10 áreas temáticas propostas para gestão e implementação do PNAES não são executadas pela UFCG e UFPB. Destacam-se tão somente as ações voltadas para Moradia e Alimentação, e debilmente as ações de esportes e de saúde. Confirmou-se o caráter subsidiário do Reuni e do ENEM/SiSu como fatores facilitadores do acesso ao Ensino Superior de segmentos populacionais empobrecidos nas universidades federais da Paraíba. No entanto, a Assistência Estudantil não é universalizada, mas, limitada a ações focalistas, residuais e excludentes, o que rebate na prática profissional do/a assistente social, marcada pela seletividade sob o signo clientelista e conservador.
