O saber-ser ético-profissional da enfermagem: um olhar sobre a formação de nível técnico / The ethical-professional know-how-to-be of nursing professionals: an overview on the technical formation

Visando a garantia da oferta de atenção integral e de qualidade à saúde da população brasileira, a enfermagem tem se articulado em ações coletivas para construir novas práticas de saúde e de formação de profissionais. Busca-se uma formação calcada em competências crítico-emancipatórias, assegurando que os princípios e as estratégias do SUS sejam norteadores fundamentais dessa construção. A realidade da formação tem sido a ênfase no saber-saber e no saber-fazer em detrimento, muitas vezes, do saber-ser. Este estudo partiu do pressuposto de que o desenvolvimento da dimensão do saber-ser ético-profissional na formação contribui para uma prática profissional vinculada a valores ético-políticos e de justiça social. Assim, buscou-se investigar como a formação da dimensão do saber-ser ético-profissional do técnico em enfermagem é desenvolvida na escola. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem etnográfica, na perspectiva teórica do materialismo histórico e dialético que reconhece os processos educacionais como parte integrante de formações sociais historicamente determinadas. Os dados foram coletados a partir da observação direta do cotidiano de uma escola técnica de saúde, dos seus documentos e de entrevistas com o corpo técnico. Os resultados explicitaram as concepções que as docentes têm sobre o saber-ser ético-profissional e como elas foram aplicadas na construção dos processos formativos, tanto no que se refere ao currículo como na prática docente. O principal dado é de que não há um processo educativo sistematizado sobre a dimensão do saber-ser ético-profissional, tampouco o currículo explicita os conteúdos em valores e atitudes. Concluiu-se que a dimensão do saber-ser ético-profissional, apesar de sempre presente na prática profissional, nem sempre é abordada nos processos de formação tradicionalmente baseados na racionalidade científica. Isto se dá tanto pela herança de uma formação tradicional, como pela falta de clareza do que significa e como deve ser feita a formação dessa dimensão / In order to guarantee integral attention and quality to the health care of the Brazilian population, nursing professionals have been working on collective actions with a view to implementing new health care practices and formation of new professionals in this area. The objective is the achievement of a formation which is based on critical-emancipating competencies and make it sure that its construction is essentially oriented and based upon SUS principles and strategies. The reality of the formation of professionals in the field of nursing has always been focused on the know-how-to-know and the know-how-to-do to the detriment of the know-how-to-be. This study is based on the presupposition that the development of a ethical-professional know-how-to-be dimension of the nursing formation contributes to a professional practice that leads to ethical-political and social justice values. Therefore, investigation was focused on how the ethical-professional know-how-to-be dimension is developed in the nursing technical course. This is an ethnographic-approach-based research which theoretical perspective tends to the dialectic and historic materialism, in which educational processes are understood as integrating parts of social historically determined formations. Data were collected based on direct observation of a technical health care school daily routine, as well as from the school documents and by interviewing the school technical body. Results have shown how the school teaching body sees the ethical-professional know-how-to-be and how it was applied in the implementation of the formative processes, either to the school curriculum and to the school teaching body practice. The main data is that there is no educational systematized process on the dimension of the ethical-professional know-how-to-be in the school, and also the curriculum does not detail its content as to values and attitudes. It is then concluded that this dimension, despite being often present in the professional practice, is not always approached in the processes of formation which are traditionally based on the scientific rationality. This happens either on account of a traditional formation heritage, as well as on account of a lack of a clear understanding of this dimension and how the formation of such dimension should be brought about

O crescente processo de industrialização e urbanização mundial acelerou a geração de resíduos. Sua disposição e tratamento adequados é hoje um grande problema de contaminação ambiental. Alguns países adotam medidas para o controle e gerenciamento das áreas de disposição de resíduos, consideradas de antemão como contaminadas. No Brasil, não existe legislação específica nem levantamento de tais áreas, com exceção da região metropolitana de São Paulo que identificou e cadastrou essas áreas através de convênio entre a CETESB e o governo da Alemanha, por intermédio da Sociedade de Cooperação Técnica GTZ. Deste convênio surgiu o manual de gerenciamento de áreas contaminadas, publicação destinada a orientar as ações de gerenciamento de áreas suspeitas ou contaminadas; este manual balizou a caracterização ambiental do lixão de Morro Agudo, objeto deste estudo, comprovando a contaminação da área e alertando para a necessidade de medidas, visando a proteção dos principais bens a proteger. / The increasing process of worldwide industrialization and urbanization accelerated the generation of residues. Nowadays its adequate disposal and treatment are a great problem of environmental contamination. Some countries adopt measures for the control and management of the residue disposal areas, considered beforehand as contaminated. In Brazil, it does not exist specific legislation nor survey of such areas, with exception of Sao Paulo metropolitan area, which identified and registered these areas through an agreement between CETESB and the government of Germany, mediated by Sociedade de Cooperação Técnica GTZ. From this agreement appeared the management manual of contaminated areas, publication destined to guide the actions of management of suspicious or contaminated areas; this manual determined the environmental characterization of Morro Agudo rubbish dump, subject of this study, proving the area contamination and alerting to the necessity of measures, aiming the protection of the main goods to be protected.

Nesse contexto, é comum a utilização de dados pertencentes ao passado do indivíduo, o qual muitas vezes já está, por ele, superado. O assunto do presente trabalho abarca instituto apto a proteger a pessoa humana e o seu livre desenvolvimento na sociedade atual, qual seja, o direito ao esquecimento. A questão cerne é se essa rede de dados pode armazenar informações em um espaço de tempo indefinido e, também, se esses dados podem ser republicados a qualquer tempo. O direito ao esquecimento visa coibir a veiculação de informações pretéritas, que digam respeito a questões privadas da pessoa, a partir de alguns critérios. Este trabalho investigou como o direito ao esquecimento vem sendo disciplinado no Brasil. Analisou-se o conceito em tela de acordo com os fundamentos jurídicos brasileiros contemporâneos, conceituando-o com base na doutrina e jurisprudência pátrias. Foram analisados os critérios normalmente utilizados para propiciar sua aplicação, bem como sugeridos outros que sejam aptos a justificar a sua aplicação nos casos concretos. O estabelecimento de critérios se mostra de extrema relevância para permitir a aplicação justa e equilibrada desse direito, sem prejudicar a liberdade de expressão ou a memória nacional. / Nowadays individuals are embedded in the communication society, which is characterized by the enormous flow of information made available and transmitted worldwide, without temporal or territorial barriers. The development of the Internet has fostered the formation of broader and more accessible data networks. In this context, the use of old data from an individual’s past is not unusual, a past which is often overcome. The aim of this paper encompasses an institute capable of protecting the human person and their free development in today's society, namely, the right to be forgotten. The question to be posed is whether this data network can store information over an indefinite period of time and whether that data can be republished at any time. This right is aimed at preventing the disclosure of past information that concerns a person's private affairs, in the presence of certain criteria. The purpose of this work is to investigate how the right to be forgotten has been regulated in Brazil. Therefore, it will be analyzed according to the present Brazilian legal grounds for its protection. Then it will be conceptualized based on the country’s doctrine and jurisprudence. The commonly used criteria to provide its enforcement will also be analyzed, as well as others that may be used to justify its enforcement in specific cases. Setting criteria is extremely relevant to allow a fair and balanced enforcement of this right, without harm to freedom of expression or national memory.

In this sense, this work aimed to analyze the development of the emancipation concept proposed by the pedagogic political project of the Pelotense Municipal School, taking into account that this is taken from Paulo Freire's thought. This way, the central objective of this research looked for answering in what measure the students of this school manifest some indication of a coherent positioning of emancipation with the political-pedagogic proposal of Freire. Starting from the speech of the pedagogic coordination of the researched school it was noticed that the emancipation concept is interpreted as a political conquest executed from the political-social emersion, looking for each subject's formation gone back to the compromising with a society project in the direction of the universal objectives. The research demonstrated that there are approaches of the emancipation concept thought by the Pelotense Municipal School and the be-more freiriana category . As methodological procedure, the investigation used the resource of the established dialogue starting from the meeting between the thought of Freire and the subjects of the research (students of the third year of the high school). In the investigative way the study intended to unfold the freiriano s be-more, from where were extracted the categories: autonomy, dialogue, understanding and the ethics, that were used to theorize the exhibition of the subjects of the research mediated by the problem-solving of the emerging themes in the socioeconomic reality of the students / A construção de um mundo humanizado exige a implementação de processos educativos críticos e transformadores. Neste sentido, este trabalho buscou analisar o desenvolvimento do conceito de emancipação proposto pelo projeto político pedagógico do Colégio Municipal Pelotense, levando em consideração que este é tomado a partir do pensamento de Paulo Freire. Deste modo, o objetivo central desta pesquisa buscou responder em que medida os estudantes dessa escola manifestam algum indício de posicionamento emancipatório coerente com a proposta político-pedagógica de Freire. A partir da fala da coordenação pedagógica da escola pesquisada, percebeu-se que o conceito de emancipação é interpretado como uma conquista política efetivada a partir da emersão político-social, buscando a formação de cada sujeito voltado para o comprometimento com um projeto de sociedade na direção dos objetivos universais. A pesquisa demonstrou que existem aproximações do conceito de emancipação pensado pelo Colégio Municipal Pelotense e a categoria freiriana do ser-mais. Como procedimento metodológico, a investigação utilizou o recurso do diálogo estabelecido a partir do encontro entre o pensamento de Freire e os sujeitos da pesquisa (alunos do terceiro ano do ensino médio). No caminho investigativo, o estudo buscou desdobrar o ser-mais freiriano, donde foram extraídas as categorias: autonomia, diálogo, conscientização e ética, que serviram para teorizar a exposição dos sujeitos da pesquisa mediada pela problematização dos temas emergentes na realidade sócio-econômica dos estudantes

Variation of English passives used by Swedes : A corpus-based study of the usage of be-passives and get-passives

This thesis investigates the grammatical constructions of be-and get-passives and their usage by Swedes writing in English. The investigation is based on findings from four different corpora, two of which were compiled for the purpose of this study. The first one, SWENC (the Swedish English Newspaper Corpus), contains texts from online newspapers and a corporate newsletter written by Swedes in English. The second, BESC (Blogs in English by Swedes Corpus), contains material collected from blogs written in English by Swedes. The results from these corpora are compared with results from the press sub-corpora of the native English Frown (American English) and F-LOB corpora (British English). The results show that Swedes writing in English use passive constructions to a similar extent as native English speakers do within the news genre. Furthermore, Swedes writing in English use significantly more be-passive constructions within the news genre than the more informal blog genre. Lastly, the study shows that Swedes writing in English use get-passives, and that they are considerably more common in the informal language used in blogs than the more formal language used in online newspapers.

This study aims to investigate how secondary school teachers have used We should all be feminists and the accompanying teacher’s guide and if they used the material in a problematizing way, given that it is sponsored. Hilary Janks’ model of critical literacy served as theoretical basis in this study. To collect data, qualitative interviews were conducted, that included five secondary school teachers. The transcribed material was processed and analyzed by the method Qualitative Content Analysis and with a deductive approach. The main results show that teachers primarily used the material as a way to meet the criteria of the curriculum and to train students in certain moments of the Swedish subject, rather than as a material for the discussion of feminism and gender equality. The study’s most conspicuous result was that none of the teachers had reflected on the fact that the material was sponsored by a numerous of organizations. The teachers viewed the sponsors as harmless and the material as a text from a fiction writer, rather than a material from trade unions and foundations who wish to exert influence in the classroom. In the analysis by Janks’ model of critical literacy, the results show that all of the teachers had worked with critical literacy in the classroom to some extent, but that they had not realized all of Janks’ criteria on how to work with critical literacy in classrooms.

- The issue of pre-trial detention in criminal procedure The topic of this diploma thesis is the issue of pre-trial detention in criminal procedure. The institute can be described as a securing institute of criminal procedural law that significantly affects the right to personal freedom of the individual, which conflicts with other human rights. In light of these violations of fundamental rights, it is not surprising that the institute is often discussed and is thus a sensitive topic. It is therefore often the subject of disputes, which are held in front of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic and other international courts. This thesis is divided into six chapters, wherein, the first part deals with the description of the institute of pre-trial detention itself, and discusses the principles that are related to it. The second chapter briefly describes the historical development of the institute of pre-trial detention on the territory of the Czech Republic since 1961, when the new Criminal Procedure Code was adopted. It emphasises the amendments No. 265/2001 Coll., and No. 459/2011 Coll., which both brought a significant change in the legal system of pre-trial detention. The third chapter focuses on the existing legislation based on case law in the Czech Republic and international courts....

Multiple Disk Gaps and Rings Generated by a Single Super-Earth

We investigate the observational signatures of super-Earths (i.e., planets with. Earth-to-Neptune. mass), which are the most common type of exoplanet discovered to date, in their natal disks of gas and dust. Combining two-fluid global hydrodynamics simulations with a radiative transfer code, we calculate the distributions of gas and of submillimeter-sized dust in a disk perturbed by a super-Earth, synthesizing images in near-infrared scattered light and the millimeter-wave thermal continuum for direct comparison with observations. In low-viscosity gas (alpha (sic) 10(-4)), a super-Earth opens two annular gaps to either side of its orbit by the action of Lindblad torques. This double gap and its associated gas pressure gradients cause dust particles to be dragged by gas into three rings: one ring sandwiched between the two gaps, and two rings located at the gap edges farthest from the planet. Depending on the. system parameters, additional rings may manifest for a single planet. A double gap located at tens of au. from a host star in Taurus can be detected in the dust continuum by the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) at an angular resolution of similar to 0".03 after two hours of integration. Ring and gap features persist in a variety of background disk profiles, last for thousands of orbits, and change their relative positions and dimensions depending on the speed and direction of planet migration. Candidate double gaps have been observed by ALMA in systems such as. HL Tau (D5 and D6) and TW Hya (at 37 and 43 au); we submit that each double gap is carved by one super-Earth in nearly inviscid gas.

PANCHROMATIC IMAGING OF A TRANSITIONAL DISK: THE DISK OF GM AUR IN OPTICAL AND FUV SCATTERED LIGHT

We have imaged GM Aurigae with the Hubble Space Telescope, detected its disk in scattered light at 1400 and 1650 angstrom, and compared these with observations at 3300 angstrom, 5550 angstrom, 1.1 mu m, and 1.6 mu m. The scattered light increases at shorter wavelengths. The radial surface brightness profile at 3300 angstrom shows no evidence of the 24 au radius cavity that has been previously observed in submillimeter observations. Comparison with dust grain opacity models indicates that. the surface of the entire disk is populated with submicron grains. We have compiled a. spectral energy distribution from 0.1 mu m to 1 mm. and used it to constrain a model of the star + disk system that includes the submillimeter cavity using the Monte Carlo radiative transfer code by Barbara Whitney. The best-fit model image indicates that the cavity should be detectable in the F330W bandpass if the cavity has been cleared of both large and small dust grains, but we do not detect it. The lack of an observed cavity can be explained by the presence of submicron grains interior to the submillimeter cavity wall. We suggest one explanation for this that. could be due to a planet of mass <9 M-J interior to 24 au. A unique cylindrical structure is detected in the far-UV data from the Advanced Camera for Surveys/ Solar Blind Channel. It is aligned along the system semiminor axis, but does not resemble an accretion-driven jet. The structure is limb. brightened and extends 190 +/- 35 au above the disk midplane. The inner radius of the limb. brightening is 40 +/- 10 au, just beyond the submillimeter cavity wall.
