Fremdkörperaspiration bei KindernLink, Sarah 07 May 2012 (has links) (PDF)

Em suma: pretendemos demonstrar se os "partidos contam" ou não na arena parlamentar, ao contrário do que afirma boa parte da literatura especializada / Abstract: The objective of this monograph is to characterize the profile of the legislative decisions of diverse partisan group of bencheses and operating parliamentary groups during 15ª Legislature of the State legislatures of the Paraná, São Paulo and Minas Gerais (2003- 2007). For in such a way, we go to apply the tipologia developed for Fabiano Santos (1995) to the approved projects of law (2821 laws), and will effect statistical crossings of these information with data on the sociopolitics profile and the standard of conscription of the 227 state deputies, elect the legislature of these three states. We will look for to test the following hypothesis: it has or not significant differences between the behavior and conscription standards politician (as described for the legislative production) of some partisan group of bencheses and sub-groups of operating parliamentarians in the State legislature. In short: we intend to demonstrate if the "parties count" or not in the parliamentary enclosure for bullfighting, in contrast of what it affirms good part of specialized literature / Mestrado / Ciencia Politica / Mestre em Ciência Política

Tvorba proteinových granulí v diferencovaných buňkách kvasinkových kolonií / Formation of protein granules in differentiated cells of yeast coloniesKočířová, Eliška January 2020 (has links)
Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a unicellular eukaryotic organism capable of forming organized multicellular communities - colonies and biofilms. During development, colonies of laboratory strains differentiate into specifically localized cell subpopulations - U and L cells, located in the upper and lower part of the colony, respectively. The U and L subpopulations of cells vary in morphology, metabolic processes and stress resistance. Protein granules are membrane-less "organelles" found in both unicellular and multicellular eukaryotic organisms. The formation of protein granules is related to the physiological state of the cell (e.g. chronological and replicative aging), but also to changing environmental conditions and to cellular responses to stress factors. A relatively large fraction of proteins relocalizes to some type of protein granule during the lifespan of the cell. Granule formation can increase fitness of cells, help them to cope with limiting energy resources, and plays a crucial role in the adaptation of cells to stress conditions. Localization of many proteins in the cell varies depending on its physiology. Therefore the specific localization of such proteins may be considered as a "marker" of a specific physiological condition. There are proteins in each type of granule that can be...

From the senate to the NCOP : a description of the composition and working of South Africa's second chamberBrandt, Madeleinne Lesley 03 1900 (has links)
Thesis (MPhil)--Stellenbosch University, 2001. / ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to provide a structural analysis of the second house of the
South African Parliament - the National Council of Provinces (NCOP).
The study firstly focuses on the theoretical experience of second chambers in general.
It then touches on a comparative study of second chambers of selected countries. The
study then provides a description of the composition of the second house in South
Africa, the committee system employed as well as the information flow. It also
explores the concept of co-operative governance, the powers assigned to the NCOP
by the Constitution and discusses the method of selecting delegates in detail. In
addition the study focuses on the role that the NCOP is expected to play within the
national legislative process.
This analysis is descriptive in nature and aims to serve as an educational tool for the
South African public as well as in the international arena.

Discrete Geometry in Normed SpacesSpirova, Margarita 09 December 2010 (has links) (PDF)
This work refers to ball-intersections bodies as well as covering, packing, and kissing problems related to balls and spheres in normed spaces. A quick introduction to these topics and an overview of our results is given in Section 1.1 of Chapter 1. The needed background knowledge is collected in Section 1.2, also in Chapter 1. In Chapter 2 we define ball-intersection bodies and investigate special classes of them: ball-hulls, ball-intersections, equilateral ball-polyhedra, complete bodies and bodies of constant width. Thus, relations between the ball-hull and the ball-intersection of a set are given. We extend a minimal property of a special class of equilateral ball-polyhedra, known as Theorem of Chakerian, to all normed planes. In order to investigate bodies of constant width, we develop a concept of affine orthogonality, which is new even for the Euclidean subcase. In Chapter 2 we solve kissing, covering, and packing problems. For a given family of circles and lines we find at least one, but for some families even all circles kissing all the members of this family. For that reason we prove that a strictly convex, smooth normed plane is a topological Möbius plane. We give an exact geometric description of the maximal radius of all homothets of the unit disc that can be covered by 3 or 4 translates of it. Also we investigate configurations related to such coverings, namely a regular 4-covering and a Miquelian configuration of circles. We find the concealment number for a packing of translates of the unit ball.

The aim of this thesis is to examine interactivity in the context of performance-based interactive art. The questions asked are: what are the conditions of interactivity, how interactivity happens, and what artistic results it may yield. The method is an analysis based on close studies of three performance-based interactive artworks by applying theories of interactivity, audience participation, and collaboration. First, current theories are outlined, after which, the three artworks are introduced in detail. Next, the artworks are examined, thematically rather than individually, expanding on parameters such as the degree of artistic direction of the artwork, the degree of agency allowed to the spectator in their interaction with the work, and the idea of the “passive” spectator as being “activated” by interactive art. It is shown that the actualization of the interactive gesture inscribed within the work depends on the spectator’s subjectivity and obedience to said gesture. Thus, the conditions of the interaction are not decided by the work/artist alone, but also and equally, by the spectator. Consequently, the actualized interactivity may not immediately correspond with the (possible) authorial intent and may even be unexpected or "infelicitous." The problematic of the thesis falls within the scope of current discourse concerning the striving for interactivity between the work of art and its spectator/audience. While that discourse has often been focused on authorial intent or has implied an ideal spectator, this thesis points to the significance of subjectivity with regards to interactivity and thereby adds increased complexity to the concept of interactivity.

Výpočet aerodynamických charakteristik nosiče pro nízkou oběžnou dráhu / Aerodynamic analysis of low orbit launcherFojtl, Michal January 2017 (has links)
Master’s thesis deals with aerodynamic heating of launch vehicle during ascent phase by using CFD simulation. Ascent trajectory and payload fairing geometry is design using data of existing small launch vehicles. Critical flight regimes are identified using 2D calculations, and in these regimes analysis is performed by axially symmetric simulations. Simulation results are compared to values obtained from theoretical and semi-empirical calculations.
