Study of Provable Secure Cryptosystems and Signature SchemesRao, Fang-Yu 06 September 2005 (has links)
Providing a security proof is always an important issue in the process of designing a cryptographic scheme or protocol. We often show the security of a cryptosystem via ¡§problem reduction.¡¨ In this thesis, lots of emphasis was put on the review of techniques for proving the security of cryptosystems. These techniques consist of Random Oracle Model and Forking Lemma. We also introduced some well-known
cryptographic schemes which can be proved secure using these techniques. Then we offered a security proof of a blind signature scheme based on the one proposed by Fan. In the end, we made a comparison between our proof and the proof of another blind signature scheme provided by David Pointcheval and Jacques Stern. Some arguments and discussions about using the Random Oracle Model to prove
the security of a cryptosystem were also included.

Implementering av affärssystemHjalmarsson, Susanne January 1999 (has links)

The Abjection of the PythiaTackitt, Alaina Dyann 01 January 2011 (has links)
Recent academic research has garnered considerable popular interest on the matter of whether the Pythia, the Oracle of Delphi, was high. Current findings aim to prove that vapors emitted from beneath the tripod on which the Pythia prophesied were intoxicating, thereby causing her frenzied state and statements. Contemporary scientists' intense interest in proving that the Pythia was not prophetic evokes the question of why the once widely accepted, now generally rejected, idea that a female body can serve as a vessel for the words of the immortal deity holds such significance for modern science. When this curiosity is considered in light of Julia Kristeva's writings on abjection, numerous possibilities are made available. At its simplest, examining the abjection of the Pythia could explain why the voice of modern science is so interested in the words of these ancient women. At best, to consider an active process of abjection nearly three millennia in the making provides an opportunity to expand understandings and interpretations of both the Pythia and her role in the world, past and present, and the abject and its role in abjection beyond literature and theory.

Structure and Petrology of the Oracle Granite, Pinal County, ArizonaBanerjee, Anil K. January 1957 (has links)
Oracle granite, probably emplaced in older Precambrian time contains the relic pattern imposed on the Pinal schist by the Mazatzal orogeny. The "granite" of that time was a granodiorite. It is now a porphyritic quartz monzonite that varies unsystematically toward granodiarite and biotite granite. The trend of its principal Precambrian foliation is northeast-southwest and this is crossed by northwesterly-trending Precambrian foliation. After the Mazatzal orogeny, peneplanation, and deposition of the younger Precambrian Apache group, a series of dikes was emplaced in the Oracle granite, beginning with coarse and medium grained diabase and ending with andesite and rhyolite. The earlier members of the sequence, including diabase, aplite, pegmatite, quartz and latite were emplaced when tensional stresses opened a series of northwest trending fractures. The tension seems to have been related to right lateral strike-slip along the Mogul fault zone, which forms the southern border of the granite. In Jurassic or Cretaceous time the strike-slip on the Mogul fault was reversed; northeast-trending Pinal schist south of the fault was rotated counter-clockwise into partial parallelism with the fault, a transition zone north of the fault was likewise dragged and andesite and rhyolite dikes were emplaced in northeast-trending "feather fractures." The structural and petrographic evidence suggests that metasomatism was important in the origin of the Precambrian granodiorite, but the existence of some magma cannot be precluded. Likewise the evidence suggests that the potash metasomatism that changed the granodiorite to quartz monzonite may have taken place at the time of the later intense movements, that is, during Jurassic or Cretaceous time. However, an earlier age of potash introduction is not unlikely.

Duomenų analizės priemonių tyrimas ir taikymas interneto sistemose / Data Analysis Tools Research and Usage in Internet SystemsVilimas, Marius 24 September 2004 (has links)
Every day Internet sites collect and store lots of user data. For effective usage of that data, special tools are required. Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools are suggested for that purpose. Usage of these tools is related to usage of Data Warehousing tools. Therefore issues of Data Warehouse design, data transformation and transferring to data warehouses were discussed. In the present years there are new trends in business computer systems industry – WEB Data Warehouses. New characteristics of such systems were analyzed. OLAP tools usage is not possible without multidimensional data model. Main entities and operations with these entities were reviewed and mathematical definitions given. Data transformation process was proposed. This process flow shows how transformations can be used for transferring data from WEB site to multidimensional database. OLAP tools of Microsoft SQL server and Oracle database server (the most popular database management systems in Lithuania) were analyzed in experimental part of work. Data transformation and reviewing in desktop applications, WEB systems and office applications tools were compared and recommendations given.

This graduation paper researches the principles of Electronic collaboration systems. It overlooks what technologies ant methods may be used for better collaboration between business entities. Here is discovered the benefit of international classification of economic activities, products and services. This method of international classification is used in system we made-up and it’s defining the structure of catalogs. Also we overlooked the possibility to use data warehouse system which may by applied for direct customers data bases integration with confederate system. System project was build using two CASE technologies. User requirements and demands represented using UML specifications, final systems specifications phase was build using Oracle Case tools.

Re-Discovering Ethan Allen and Thomas Young's Reason the Only Oracle of Man: The Rise of Deism in Pre-Revolutionary AmericaKolenda, Benjamin 18 December 2013 (has links)
In 1784, Ethan Allen (1738-1789), the leader of the Green Mountain Boys and legendary Revolutionary War hero, and his friend Thomas Young (1731-1777) published Reason the only Oracle of Man. In their opus, America’s premier text formally introducing Deism, Allen and Young systematically dismantle the ecclesiastical foundations of New England by specifically targeting the undemocratic principles of the Congregational Church. Allen and Young wrote Reason as a revolt against the encroaching ecclesiastical domination. The duo focused upon many topics central to the European Enlightenment: substance and matter, formation versus creation, immortality, the soul, the nature and motives of prophecy, and time and eternity. Thomas Young, a student of deism, mentored a teenage Allen and instilled in him a distinctly British ideology (one based on the writings of Charles Blount and John Locke) that, paired with Allen’s upbringing in an anti-Calvinist home, materialized into America’s premier deist text.
