Využití metod prostorové analýzy dat při vymezování venkovských regionů / The Use of the spatial data examining methods for definition of rural areas

The aim of this thesis is technical evaluation of existing approaches to defining rural areas in our country, in Europe and in the world. The main result of the work will be a comprehensive proposal for a new definition of rural areas of the Czech Republic by means of spatial data analysis in a geographic information system. The main method of the spatial analysis will be the map algebra, using it to define a new criterion for rural areas. A new proposal for the definition of rural areas of the Czech Republic will be based on a combination of commonly used criterias for defining rural (population, population density, unemployment rate, etc.) along with their processing in GIS (spatial models, overlay operations, spatial statistics and others). The result of this work should serve to further evaluate the proposals and rural areas of sustainable development.

This diploma thesis called ?Phonological skills in prevention of readers difficulty? focuses on recognizing of the relationship between phonological skills and reading in czech (transparent) language environment. Theoretical part gives a definition of dyslexia and gives her typology. It delimits the causes, diagnostics, rectification and influence of dyslexia on a child. It advises how to work with pupils with dyslexia. Practical part contains own testing of pupils´ phonological skills. It describes procedure and the method of measurement, it gives description of exercises and gained experience.

A presente dissertação dedica-se ao estudo do design de calçados e, especificamente, à identificação e análise de suas relaçōes com a modernidade. Sob esta ótica, procura-se evidenciar as mudanças ocorridas a partir do século XVII, como a organização e a estrutura de produção e comercialização de calçados na Europa, que culminam com o surgimento de um novo profissional - o designer de calçados. Com o intuito de auxiliar este novo profissional, o principal objetivo desta dissertação é a contribuição para a base de conhecimento em relação ao design de calçados. Apresenta-se, assim, uma nova proposta de tipologia de calçados, na qual pode-se classificar toda a diversidade de modelos contemporâneos, cujo design reflete claramente as influências da modernidade. / This dissertation is dedicated to the study of shoe design and, moreover, to the identification and analysis of its relationship with modernity. From this perspective, it intends to lay emphasis on the changes from the seventeenth century on, related to the shoe production and commercial organisation and structure in Europe, culminating with the emergence of a new professional - the shoe designer. In order to assist this new professional, the main objective of this dissertation is contribute to the shoe design knowledge base. A new proposal for a shoe typology is, thus, presented, in which the whole diversity of contemporary models, whose design clearly reflects the influences of modernity, can be classified.

Trauma, Typology, and Anti-Catholicism in Early Modern England, 1579 - 1625

abstract: “Trauma, Typology, and Anti-Catholicism in Early Modern England” explores the connection between the biblical exegetical mode of typology and the construction of traumatic historiography in early modern English anti-Catholicism. The Protestant use of typology—for example, linking Elizabeth to Eve--was a textual expression of political and religious trauma surrounding the English Reformation and responded to the threat presented by foreign and domestic Catholicism between 1579 and 1625. During this period of the Elizabethan and Jacobean eras, English anti-Catholicism began to encompass not only doctrine, but stereotypical representations of Catholics and their desire to overthrow Protestant sovereignty. English Protestant polemicists viewed themselves as taking part in an important hermeneutical process that allowed their readers to understand the role of the past in the present. Viewing English anti-Catholicism through the lens of trauma studies allows us greater insight into the beliefs that underpinned this religio-political rhetoric. Much of this rhetorical use of typology generated accessible associations of Catholics with both biblical villains and with officials who persecuted and executed Protestants during the reign of Mary I. These associations created a typological network that reinforced the notion of English Protestants as an elect people, while at the same time exploring Protestant religio-political anxiety in the wake of various Catholic plots. Each chapter explores texts published in moments of Catholic “crisis” wherein typology and trauma form a recursive loop by which the parameters of the threat can be understood. The first chapter examines John Stubbs’s Discovery of a Gaping Gulf (1579) and his views of Protestant female monarchy and a sexualized Catholic threat in response to Elizabeth I’s proposed marriage to the French Catholic Duke of Anjou. The second chapter surveys popular and state responses to the first Jesuit mission to England in 1580. Perception of social media influencers : A study on evaluation of Social Media Influencer types for different beauty categories

Background: For years companies have been using SMIs to communicate their brands and influencer marketing has become a thriving concept in this social-media era. Beauty retailing industry, as a global business with the third biggest follower base on social media, makes itself qualified and valuable for the study of influencer marketing. Purpose: The aim of the thesis is to investigate which type of influencers would be more influential in promotion of beauty product categories. Furthermore, the study intends to research on consumers’ review habits, preferred traits of influencers and reasons behind the actions. Method: To accomplish the purpose of this study, we conducted an abductive approach by the aid of both qualitative and quantitative data. The data was gathered through a questionnaire and a focus group, primarily among students in international universities. This in order to reach out to young people with different nationalities since it is an international study. Conclusion: Top influentials and narrative experts are shown to be more efficient for influencer marketing in the beauty industry especially when they are perceived trustworthy. Additionally, we found that the influencers have an impact on the consumers most when it comes to information search and the evaluation of alternatives.

[pt] Aglomerações industriais têm obtido cada vez mais importância no Brasil, e têm sido crescentemente objeto de estudos e de elaboração de políticas públicas. Nesse contexto, faz parte do esforço de análise dos aglomerados, a elaboração de tipologias e classificações com o intuito de agrupá-las segundo diversas características: sua história de formação, sua evolução, organização industrial, dentre outras. O presente estudo objetiva contribuir para a atual discussão sobre aglomerações industriais analisando as aglomerações inovadoras. Para isso, foram adaptadas as reconhecidas metodologias de Cassiolato e Szapiro (2003) e de Mytelka e Farinelli (2000) para permitir a elaboração de um ranking das aglomerações mais inovadoras do país a partir de dados levantados em pesquisa financiada pelo convênio SEBRAE/FEPESE/UFSC em 2002. Inicialmente foram criados 16 indicadores calculáveis a partir dos mencionados dados e distribuídos em 6 dimensões. Foram também definidas ponderações para cada indicador e para cada dimensão possibilitando uma maior compatibilidade entre as metodologias utilizadas e a metodologia proposta. Por último foram calculadas as notas finais de cada aglomeração tendo sido a metodologia de Britto, Stallivieri, Campos e Vargas (2007) fundamental para separar os aglomerados em grupos (clusters) de mesmo padrão de desempenho inovativo, aprendizagem tecnológica e ações cooperativas permitindo a comparação entre aglomerados. Os aglomerados identificados como os mais inovadores de cada grupo foram analisados a fim de se identificar as características básicas e estruturais e os principais determinantes que os levaram a serem assim considerados. / [en] Industrial agglomerations have recently gained importance in Brazil, and are being increasingly the subject of studies and public policy development. In this context, it is part of the analysis the development of typologies and classifications in order to group the agglomerations according to several characteristics such as: its history, evolution, industrial organization, amongst others. This study aims to contribute to the current discussion on industrial aglomerations by analyzing the most innovative ones. Thus, the methodologies of Cassiolato Szapiro (2003) and Mytelka and Farinelli (2000) were adjusted and applied in order to develop a ranking of the most innovative agglomerations in Brazil. For such, the data used was obtained from a research funded by the agreement SEBRAE1 / FEPESE2 / UFSC3 in 2002. Initially, 16 indicators were created and distributed in six dimensions. Also, weights were also attributed for each indicator and for each dimension - enabling greater compatibility between the methodologies applied and the one proposed by this dissertation. Finally, the grades were calculated for each agglomeration. At this moment, the methodology of Britto, Stallivieri, Campos and Vargas (2007) was of key importance in order to separate the aglomerations within groups of the same standard of innovative performance, technological learning and cooperative actions allowing comparisons between them. The aglomerations identified as the most innovative in each group were analyzed in order to identify the basic and structural characteristics, as well as the main drivers that led them into this position.

It is a scenario which also involves changes in the scope of consumption, brand value and consumer behavior. In this instant connections age, generations are going through the process of learning a new form of interactivity, participation and sharing. Especially in digital media, these aspects have been changing the way to advertise, leading to a reconfiguration in its practices.Thus, emerged the need to understand the current directions of advertising practice while communication phenomenon, considering that advertising spending has grown significantly in this ambience. Furthermore, increased interest in researching the new formats, trials that are reflections of such advertising, as contemporary practices do not fit the traditional patterns. It was adopted, then, as an object of study five ads inserted into a typology created to fulfill three advertising practices in digital media, which map the new forms of narratives, strategies, interactions and relationships that were not previously displayed they are: reality increased co-production/co-creation or co-authored and protagonization ad. Considering the reasons for authors that allow dialogue with the theme, as Covaleski (2010, 2011), Di Felice (2008), Kotler (2010), Lipovetsky (2007), Perez (2004) and Semprini (2006), aimed to, in general terms, investigate how advertising has reconfigured in digital media. The methodology used in the first stage was an exploratory research, followed by an explanatory, of qualitative nature. With this, samples were chosen by convenience, and the representation which they have for each of the categories identified. From the analysis of the five selected cases, it was concluded, among other things, that the empowerment of consumers, made possible by bidirectional networks, has led advertising to a actually immersive participation, either as marketing strategy of the advertisers or by the initiative of consumers, who act as enjoyers, also interacting in the production instance of advertising campaigns. / Em decorrência das transformações midiáticas e socioculturais, além das constantes inovações tecnológicas e comunicacionais, uma nova dinâmica tem se instaurado na publicidade em tempos de cibercultura. Trata-se de um cenário que envolve também mudanças no consumo, na valorização da marca e nos comportamentos dos consumidores. Nesta era de conexões instantâneas, as gerações estão passando pelo aprendizado de uma nova forma de interatividade, participação e compartilhamento. Sobretudo nas mídias digitais, estes aspectos têm alterado o fazer publicitário, ocasionando uma reconfiguração em suas práticas. Procuramos entender os atuais direcionamentos da prática publicitária enquanto fenômeno comunicacional, tendo em vista que o investimento publicitário nesta ambiência tem crescido significativamente. Além disso, tivemos interesse em pesquisar os novos formatos e experimentações que refletem tal publicidade, já que as práticas contemporâneas não se encaixam nos padrões tradicionais. Adotamos, então, como objeto de estudo, cinco anúncios inseridos em uma tipologia que criamos para contemplar três práticas publicitárias nas mídias digitais, mapeando as novas formas de narrativas, estratégias, interações e relacionamentos que não eram visualizados anteriormente, são elas: realidade aumentada, coprodução/cocriação ou coautoria e protagonização do anúncio. Levando em consideração a fundamentação em autores que permitem o diálogo com o tema, como Covaleski (2010; 2011), Di Felice (2008), Kotler (2010), Lipovetsky (2007), Perez (2004) e Semprini (2006), objetivamos em termos gerais investigar de que modo a publicidade tem se reconfigurado nas mídias digitais. Como metodologia, realizamos em uma primeira etapa uma pesquisa exploratória, seguida de uma explicativa, de natureza qualitativa. Com isso, escolhemos amostras por conveniência e pela representatividade que têm para cada uma das categorias apontadas. A partir da análise dos cinco cases selecionados, concluímos, entre outras coisas, que o empoderamento do consumidor, possibilitado pela bidirecionalidade das redes, tem conduzido a publicidade a uma participação de fato imersiva, seja como estratégia mercadológica das anunciantes ou pela iniciativa dos consumidores, que agem como fruidores, interagindo inclusive na instância de produção das campanhas publicitárias.

Inside of this context the present study it looks for to understand and to reflect on the availability, form of use, typology and the vegetal covering of the found free spaces in an urban area, located in the zone south-Southeast of the city of João Pessoa, composed for four quarters (Água Fria, Anatólia, Jardim Cidade Universitária and Jardim São Paulo), that still it has areas without occupation, thus constituting, a supply favorable to the real estate speculation, as also, presents in its structure examples of indifference with the question of the importance of these spaces for the recreation, mobility and conservation of the urban environment and its influences in the improvement of the quality of life. In accordance with the typology, uses and lacks found in the area, resultants of physical surveys, register photographic and search (interviews and questionnaires), it was gone deep reflection in the public sidewalks and in the informal spaces they appear in function of the necessity of the population. Thus, one concludes that the population perceives that its quality of life is related to the use forms and appropriation of these public spaces, for all the citizens, are healthful they, or with some difficulty of locomotion, propitiating the mobility inside of the urban one and guaranteeing to all, health, leisure, socialization and mainly, citizenship / O urbano dentro do aspecto físico é constituído por espaços edificados e espaços livres.
