Отмечается, что массовая словесность, в том числе глянцевая и гламурная, характеризуется установкой на тиражирование ценностей, которые являются фундаментальными для целевой аудитории. / The master's thesis is devoted to the study of gender settings of the current time in speech media culture of glamour. It is noted that mass literature, including glossy and glamorous, characterized by installing, copying of values which are fundamental to the target audience.

В выпускной квалификационной работе рассмотрены различные теоретические подходы к социальному предпринимательству и гендеру, выделены основные тенденции развития социального предпринимательства в целом и женского в частности. В рамках собственного эмпирического исследования были отмечены специфические черты ведения социального бизнеса в России мужчинами и женщинами, структурированы проблемы и трудности, с которыми сталкиваются социальные предпринимательницы в процессе ведения бизнеса. / The final qualifying work examines various theoretical approaches to social entrepreneurship and gender, highlighting the main trends in the development of social entrepreneurship in general and women's entrepreneurship in particular. As part of our own empirical research, the specific features of running social business in Russia by men and women were noted, and the problems and difficulties that social entrepreneurs face in the process of doing business were structured.

Диссертация посвящена проблеме коммуникативного поведения в политических ток-шоу. Описана гендерная специфика речевого поведения телеведущих Владимира Соловьева и Ольги Скабеевой; определены коммуникативные правила и принципы, которыми они руководствуются на протяжении всей передачи в контексте своей гендерной роли; выявлен набор общих стратегий: самопрезентации, дискредитации, кооперативно-фатической стратегии. Такой универсальный набор выявленных стратегий (и представляющих их тактик) позволяет сделать вывод, что сегодня в политическом дискурсе женственность нейтрализуется, но в то же время активно развивается тенденция к применению гендерных стратегий как для мужчин, так и для женщин. Эта новая особенность современного политического дискурса находится в стадии формирования и нуждается в дальнейшем рассмотрении. / The dissertation is devoted to the problem of communicative behavior in political talk shows. The gender specificity of speech behavior of TV hostesses Vladimir Solovyov and Olga Skabеeva is described; communicative rules and principles that they follow throughout the broadcast in the context of gender role are defined; the set of generic strategies is detected: self-presentation strategy, discredit strategy, cooperative-phatic strategy. Such a universal set of identified strategies (and representing their tactics) allows to make a conclusion that today in political discourse femininity is neutralized, but at the same time the tendency to apply both male and female gender strategies begins to develop actively. This new feature of modern political discourse is at the stage of formation and needs further consideration.

В данной работе мы рассматриваем различный характер критики гендерных стереотипов в женской викторианской литературе на материале романов «Мельница на Флоссе» Джордж Элиот и «Жены и дочери» Элизабет Гаскелл. В первой части работы мы рассматриваем жанр романа воспитания, вопросы его генезиса и эволюции, а также подробно описываем женский роман воспитания как одну из его разновидностей. Кроме того, в теоретической главе мы также выявляем особенности репрезентации гендера в литературе (в частности, мы обращаем особое внимание на феномены женского письма и женского чтения) и рассматриваем гендер как социокультурное явление в викторианском обществе. Заключительные параграфы первой части освещают историко-культурный и социальный контекст творчества Дж. Элиот и Э. Гаскелл. Вторая часть нашей работы посвящена непосредственному анализу романов «Жены и дочери» и «Мельница на Флоссе». В ней последовательно рассматриваются такие аспекты текстов, как объектная и субъектная организация, нарративная структура и стилевые особенности. Большое внимание уделяется выделению собственно женской парадигмы становления в романах. Жанровый анализ произведений включает также выявление черт «двойного» романа воспитания в данных текстах. Две параллельные линии становления героя и героини составляют структурную основу данной разновидности жанра и играют важную роль в определении специфики критики гендерных стереотипов, так как в «двойных» романах воспитания можно увидеть четкое сопоставление мужской и женской парадигм становления и выявить различия между ними. Сравнительный анализ двух романов с привлечением изученного теоретического материала позволяет заключить, что ключом к пониманию специфики критики гендерных стереотипов в данных произведениях является роль общества как неотъемлемлемого фактора формирования личности и как контролирующей инстанции, которая предписывает нормы поведения для мужчин и женщин. / In this paper, we examine the different approaches to gender stereotypes criticism in Victorian novel on “The Mill on the Floss” by George Eliot and “Wives and Daughters” by Elizabeth Gaskell. The first part of the work is devoted to the genre of formation novel, the problems of its genesis and evolution, and also describe the female educational novel as one of its varieties. Additionally, the theoretical chapter also covers gender representation in literature (namely, we pay special attention to the phenomena of women’s writing and women’s reading) and consider gender as a sociocultural phenomenon in Victorian society. The concluding paragraphs of the first part cover the historical, cultural and social context of J. Eliot’s and E. Gaskell’s novel. The second part of our work provides an analysis of the novels "”Wives and Daughters"” and “Mill on the Floss”. It consistently deals with such aspects of a literary work as image and narrative structure, and features of style. Much attention is paid to the female characters development in the given novels. Genre analysis of works also includes revealing the features of the “double” educational novel in these texts. Two parallel lines of the male and female characters development form the structural basis of this genre and play an important role in rendering gender stereotypes criticism, as in the “double” educational novels one can see a clear juxtaposition of the male and female paradigms of self-fulfillment and reveal the differences between them. A comparative analysis of the two novels with the use of the studied theoretical material allows us to conclude that the key to understanding the nature of gender stereotypes in these works is the role of society as an integral factor in the formation of personality and as a controlling authority that prescribes norms of behavior for men and women.

В данной диссертационной работе исследуется проблема нормы тела в современной модной индустрии в западноевропейских странах. Поднимается вопрос о практиках сопротивления этой норме. Декларируемая свобода нормальной телесности ставится под сомнение, главным тезисом выдвигается усиление контроля над телом в современной fashion-культуре. / This dissertation explores the problem of body norms in the modern fashion industry in Western European countries. The question is raised about practices of resistance to this norm. The declared freedom of normal embodiment is called into question; the main thesis is the strengthening of control over the body in modern fashion culture.

Family and children are brought to the front in contemporary Russia and constitute an important policy area. Manifesting the centrality of family and children, the period 2018―2027 has also been officially proclaimed “the decade of childhood”, leading to numerous policy initiatives and momentous media attention. The thesis explores this current development with a particular interest in what role the family plays in asserting and negotiating (state) power and in the overall national project of constructing Russianness. The aim is thus to examine the articulations of Russianness and family in policy and media in contemporary Russia. The analysis is conducted mainly at the level of discourse and is inspired by Laclau and Mouffe’s discourse theory. Applying constructivist theories of nationalism in conjunction with feminist theories that critique the concepts of the nation and the state, the thesis demonstrates how the discourse articulated in policy documents and state-controlled media interconnects “family”, “tradition”, and “Russianness” and what possible effects are produced as a result. It also discusses how categories of gender, class, ‘race’/ethnicity and sexuality inform the articulated national identity. The thesis argues that despite civic “Russianness” (rossiyskaya naciya) being furthered as the desired national project, a number of articulations clearly point to nation’s ethnic character. As “Russianness” and “tradition” are loosely defined the viability of such articulations is questioned, given both Russia’s history and the coming transformations of the Russian welfare state.

This thesis investigates the correlation between narrative structure and gender of the central character in Russian folktales. The study is based on Vladimir Propp’s theory of functions, which is applied to a sample of ten wonder tales from Aleksandr Afanas’ev’s collection of folktales. The purpose of the study is to determine if there are any gender distinctions in the arrangement and manifestation of functions in the selected tales.The findings suggest that the narrative structure of Russian folktales differs depending on the gender of the tale’s protagonist. Structural features such as the acts of interdiction and violation are found to be characteristic of tales with female protagonists, while the structure of tales with male protagonists is distinguished by a greater extent of activity. The conclusion is that Russian folktales appear to reflect gender stereotypes on a structural level, especially the preconceived notion that obedience and passivity are female traits. / Предметом исследования данной дипломной работы является взаимосвязь между нарративной структурой десяти народных русских сказок и половой принадлежностью героев этих же сказок. В исследовании применена теория функций действующих лиц В. Я. Проппа на материале сказок из сборника А.Н. Афанасьева. Цель исследования: установить, показывает ли нарративная структура выбранных сказок половое различие относительно состава и манифестации функций действующих лиц.Результаты исследования указывают на то, что структура народных русских сказок варьируется в зависимости от половой принадлежности протагониста. Сказки, где главные герои женщины, характеризуются действиями запрета и его нарушения, тогда как сказки с протагонистами мужского пола отличаются большей степенью активности. Вывод предлагаемой работы заключается в том, что структурный уровень народных русских сказок отражает гендерные стереотипы, в особенности предвзятое мнение о том, что послушание и пассивность – черты характера, присущие женщинам.

The dissertation studies the influence of the viewer’s gender normativity on the perception and interpretation of artworks. Based on the sociological research, the author analyses perception channels and evaluation criteria used by Ekaterinburg expert community, while elucidating the experts’ attitudes towards normative boundaries and gender aspects reflected in the works of contemporary professional art. / Диссертация посвящена исследованию влияния гендерной нормативности зрителя на восприятие и оценку им произведений искусства. На материале социсследования анализируются каналы восприятия и критерии оценивания произведений искусства экспертным сообществом г. Екатеринбурга, раскрывается отношение экспертов к нормативным границам и гендерным аспектам в произведениях современного профессионального искусства.
