In this thesis the development of an additional methodological tutorial «Writing for publication» of the book «English for Academics» is proposed for teaching students with the level of English Upper-Intermediate and Advanced to write and publish scientific articles. The relevance of the topic is that in modern conditions for successful and professional realization of a student it is necessary to perform international scientific communication with the help of the foreign language ( English, in particular), because the role of the English language has increased and for today it is regarded as the universal language. The theoretical significance of the research is defined by the analyzed materials which can be contributed to the teaching-methods of the foreign language for scientific purposes. The practical significance is due to the development of the methodological tutorial for teaching English for scientific communication for students with the level of English Upper-Intermediate and Advanced and also possibility to use the materials during English lessons to prepare students for successful writing a scientific article and its publication. The main content of the thesis is disclosed in the chapters: «The idea of scientific communication and processes in its basis» and «Teaching English for writing a scientific article». In conclusion, the research findings are presented. The appendix includes examples of additional exercises which are included in the methodological tutorial. / В магистерской диссертации предложена разработка дополнительного методического пособия «Writing for Publication» к учебнику «English for Academics» для обучения студентов с уровнем английского Upper-Intermediate и Advanced написанию научной статьи и дальнейшей ее публикации. Актуальность темы заключается в том, что в современных условиях для успешной профессиональной реализации студента необходимо совершать международную научную коммуникацию на иностранном языке (английском), поскольку роль английского языка в сфере науки с каждым годом увеличивается и на сегодняшний день его принято считать универсальным. Теоретическая значимость работы определяется тем, что изученный материал вносит вклад в методику обучения иностранному языку в целях научной коммуникации. Практическая значимость исследования заключается в разработке методического пособия по обучению английскому языку для научной коммуникации для студентов уровня Upper-Intermediate, Advanced и возможностью использования материала на занятиях по иностранному языку для подготовки студентов к успешному написанию научных статей, а также их публикации. Основное содержание диссертации раскрывается в главах: «Понятие научной коммуникации и процессы, лежащие в ее основе» и «Обучение английскому языку для написания научной статьи». В заключение даются выводы, полученные в ходе исследования. Приложение включает в себя примеры дополнительных упражнений, которые входят в методическое пособие.

This MA thesis is focused on the analysis of stylistic originality of Mykola Bazhan texts of the 1920-30s. The texts are considered in cultural and ideological context of this period, which is a result of a mixture of two artistic and philosophical platforms: avant-garde and socialist realism. Trying to reach this aim I trace the correlation of avant-garde and socialist realism poetic and cultural paradigms in Mykola Bazhan poems, the correlation which defines the stylistic originality of his texts from this period. The introductory chapter presents a detailed analysis of the development of Ukrainian literature in the late 19th - early 20th century. I focus on modernist and then on avant-garde movements and literature groups. One part of the MA thesis is dedicated to literary theory - I attempt to apply basic terms like "modernism", "avant-garde", "socialist realism", etc. to the area of my research. Another problem discussed is the change of Bazhan's approach to the communist ideology during several periods of his career. After that the dissertation shifts to philological and cultural analysis of several chosen poems of Mykola Bazhan in historical, philological and ideological contexts which were discussed in the previous chapters of my work. Sammanfattning.   Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka semantiska skillnader och pragmatiska säregenheter vid användandet av par bestående av ”verb-verb-nominala ordsammansättningar”. Det är korpus-baserad undersökningen.   Den här uppsatsen är en slags fortsättning på ett tidigare arbete (Malaxos 2010). Då under analysen av några exempel av nämnda ovan par kom jag fram att så kallade synonymiska parafraser är inte ekvivalenta. Det var ett preliminärt resultat som nu testas på en mängd av kontexter som var samlat i Korpus och på Internet. Jag analyserar 10 par. I bilagan finns det 4673 kontexter till dem. Studiens resultat är att utbytet av kollokationer i en viss kontext mot ett enkelt verb och även tvärtom leder till en ändring av frasens mening eller de är ofta outbytbara alls. En del kollokationer är t.ex. stilspecifika.   Kollokationer är en del av språkets fraseologi. Om man kan det då behärskar man ett språk på rätt sätt. Det är viktigt att skilja de åt. Kunskap om såna uttryck och deras användning kan hjälpa att förstå och att producera text på rätt sätt för översättare och andraspråkinlärare.

The paper examines the national features of communicative speech behavior of Russians on the material of the film "Piter FM". Presented in film communication situation analysed in terms of the register of communication, social status and role of communicators. The analysis of the speech material showed that interpersonal communication uses a variety of speech structures and units that have national specificities. / В диссертации рассматриваются национальные особенности коммуникативно-речевого поведения русских на материале фильма «Питер FM». Представленные в фильме коммуникативные ситуации проанализированы с точки зрения регистра общения, социального статуса и роли коммуникантов. Проведенный анализ речевого материала показал, что в межличностном общении используются разнообразные речевые структуры и единицы, имеющие национальную специфику.

В магистерской диссертации предпринята попытка анализа экспликации категории композиции в текстах молитв Новоапостольской церкви. Анализ осуществляется в опоре на конструктивный принцип религиозного функционального стиля — принцип прототекстуальности. Обнаружено, что молитвы имеют определенную композиционную структуру, несмотря на отсутствие в Новоапостольской церкви установленных правил для создания текстов. / The research work is devoted to the analysis of the category of composition in the prayer texts of the New Apostolic Church. The analysis is carried out in reliance on the principle of prototextuality inherent in the religious functional style. It has been established that prayers have a certain compositional structure, despite the absence of the rules for creating texts in the New Apostolic Church.

The topic of this paper is analysis of euphemization and dysphemization in political discourse. Euphemia and dysphemia are quite a specific language phenomenon. The uniqueness of these phenomena lies in their ability to reflect social, cultural and moral values, peculiarities of worldview not only of individuals, but also of modern society as a whole. Euphemisms and dysphemisms depend entirely on the assessments in society of a certain phenomenon, on the definition of what is acceptable and what is not. Hence the need to systematical study of these phenomena in relation to cultural and social changes. The relevance of the work is due to the increasing interest of philologists in the functional side of the language. Modern researchers pay attention to those linguistic phenomena that reflect the changes in the consciousness of the current society. In the context of teaching methodology and intercultural communication, these phenomena are also very significant, they make it possible to understand the realities of another country. / Темой данной работы является анализ феноменов эвфемизации и дисфемизации на базе политического дискурса. Эвфемия и дисфемия представляют собой довольно специфический языковой феномен. Уникальность данных явлений заключается в их способности отражать социальные, культурные и нравственные ценности, особенности мировоззрения и мышления не только отдельных личностей, но и современного общества в целом, так как эвфемизмы и дисфемизмы полностью зависят от принятых в социуме оценок тех или иных явлений, от определения того, что является приличным, допустимым, а что нет. Отсюда следует необходимость их систематического изучения в связи с культурными и социальными изменениями, приводящими к развитию и отмиранию различных форм табу. Актуальность работы обуславливается возрастающим интересом филологов к функциональной стороне языка. Современные исследователи обращают внимания на те языковедческие изменения, которые отражают перемены, происходящие в сознании нынешнего общества, все больше внимания уделяется изучению лингвистических тенденций, к которым стремится социум. В контексте методики преподавания и межкультурной коммуникации данные феномены являются также очень значительными, они позволяют понять реалии другой страны, которым безусловно необходимо обучать изучающих язык.

Объектом исследования явилась эмоциональная сфера учителя в контексте профессиональной деятельности. Предметом исследования стало эмоциональное выгорание учителя. Магистерская диссертация состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения, списка литературы (90 источников) и приложений, включающих в себя бланки применявшихся методик, а также результаты статистической обработки данных. Объем магистерской диссертации 128 страница, на которых размещены 9 рисунков и 2 таблицы. Во введении раскрывается актуальность проблемы исследования, разработанность проблематики, ставятся цель и задачи исследования, определяются объект и предмет исследования, формулируются гипотезы, указываются методы и эмпирическая база, а также теоретическая и практическая значимость работы. Первая глава включает в себя обзор зарубежной и отечественной литературы по теме эмоционального выгорания учителя. Представлены разделы, посвященные исследованию факторов эмоционального выгорания учителя и понятия «индивидуальный стиль деятельности учителя». Выводы по первой главе представляют собой итоги по изучению теоретического материала. Вторая глава посвящена эмпирической части исследования. В ней представлено описание организации и методов проведенного исследования и результатов, полученных по всем использованным методикам: «Диагностика уровня эмоционального выгорания» В.В. Бойко, диагностика профессионального «выгорания» (MBI) К. Маслач, С. Джексон, в адаптации Н.Е. Водопьяновой, диагностика индивидуального стиля деятельности учителя А.К. Марковой и А.Я. Никоновой. Также в главе представлен корреляционный анализ результатов исследования. Выводы по главе 2 включают в себя основные результаты эмпирического исследования. В заключении в обобщенном виде изложены результаты теоретической и эмпирической частей работы, а также выводы по выдвинутым гипотезам, обоснована практическая значимость исследования и описаны возможные перспективы дальнейшей разработки данной проблематики. / The object matter of the study is the emotional sphere of the teacher in the context of professional activity. The subject of the study is the emotional burnout of the teacher. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of literature (90 sources) and an appendix, which includes the forms of the applied methodologies and results of statistical data processing. The volume of the master's thesis is 128 pages, on which are placed 9 figures and 2 tables. The introduction reveals the relevance of the research problem, the development of the problematics, the purpose and objectives of the research are set, the object and the subject of research are determined, the basic and additional hypotheses are formulated, the methods and the empirical base are specified, as well as the stages of the research, the scientific novelty, the theoretical and practical significance of the work. The first chapter includes an overview of the domestic and foreign literature on the subject of emotional burnout of the teacher. The sections devoted to the study of the factors of emotional burnout of the teacher and the concept of "individual style of teacher’s activity". Conclusions on the first chapter are the results of the study of theoretical material. The second chapter is devoted to the empirical part of the study. It provides a description of the organization and methods of the study and the results obtained using all the methods used: "Diagnostics of the level of emotional burnout" by V.V. Boyko, methodology for diagnostics of professional "burnout" (MBI) K. Maslach, S. Jackson (adapted by N. Ye. Vodopyanova), diagnostics of the individual style of teacher’s activity A. K. Markova and A. Ya. Nikonova. Also, the chapter presents a comparative, correlation analysis of the results of the study. The findings of Chapter 2 are the main results of the empirical study. In conclusion, brief results of the theoretical and empirical parts of the work are presented, as well as conclusions on the hypotheses. The practical significance of the study is substantiated and possible prospects for further development of the problematics are described.

Переводческие трансформации являются ключевым инструментом, позволяющим осуществить переход от сообщения на исходном языке к сообщению на переводящем языке. Вопросом разработки понятия, а также построения типологий данных преобразований занимались многие отечественные и зарубежные исследователи в области лингвистики. За XX век был сформулирован ряд подходов, помогающих классифицировать трансформации по разным критериям. Однако, теоретики переводоведения так и не пришли к единому мнению по вопросу типологизации трансформаций. В то же время существует довольно ограниченное число работ, рассматривающих их применение на примере публицистического функционального стиля. По этой причине дальнейшее развитие теорий переводческих трансформаций, а также их применение на практике и представляет особый исследовательский интерес. Данная работа посвящена выявлению особенностей, соответствий, достоинств и недостатков трансформационных типологий Ж. -П. Вине и Ж. Дарбельне и В. Н. Комиссарова при их применении для перевода заголовков новостной службы BBC на русский язык. / Translation transformations are the key tool to make the transition from the message in the source language to the message in the target language. The development of the concept, as well as the construction of typologies of transformations has been elaborated by many domestic and foreign researchers in the field of linguistics. During the 20th century, a number of approaches have been developed to help classify transformations according to different criteria. However, linguistic theorists have never come to a consensus on the typology of translation transformations. At the same time, there are quite a limited number of works that consider their application on the example of the publicistic functional style. For this reason, further development of the theories of translation transformations as well as their application in practice is of research interest. This paper is devoted to identifying the features, correlations, advantages and disadvantages of the transformational typologies of J.-P. Vinay, J. Darbelnet and V. N. Komissarov when applying them to the translation of BBC news headlines into Russian.
