Le parcours sinueux de l’érotisme dans la poésie colombienne depuis l’œuvre de José Asunción Silva jusqu’à la poésie du groupe Mito / The sinuous path of eroticism in Colombian poetry from José Asunción Silva to the poetry of the Mito Group / El sinuoso recorrido del erotismo en la poesía colombiana desde la obra de José Asunción Silva hasta la poesía del grupo Mito

Toro Murillo, Alejandra Maria 14 January 2017 (has links)
This study examines the complex relationships between poetry and eroticism that have emerged in the Colombian poetry throughout a historical journey that goes from José Asunción Silva’s poetry (late nineteenth century) to the poetry of the group Mito, during the decade of 50s in the twentieth century. This research and analytical work shows that a tradition of the erotic in the Colombian poetry can be observed, in which eroticism, as a sensitive subject, has permeated the poetics of various groups –modernists, Piedracielistas, and Mito– as well as some of the most important Colombian authors such as Silva, Porfirio Barba Jacob, Luis Carlos López, and León de Greiff.

A lavoura, a guerra, a caça: os elementos mitológicos em três romances / The tillage, the war, the hunting: mythological elements in three novels

Triana, Claudia Esperanza Durán 25 March 2019 (has links)
This analysis of the novels Lavoura arcaica (1975) by Raduan Nassar, Terra sonâmbula (1992), by Mia Couto, and Crónica de una muerte anunciada (1981), by Gabriel García Márquez, aims to establish a dialogue between romance and mythology. From this perspective, the text examines the nature of mythological and historical time interaction and the role of the reinterpretation of myths and its impact on the chosen literary works. To develop such a proposal, the use of basic theoretical guidelines will allow us to define the characterizing elements of the mythological presence in the fictional texts selected for analysis. We will first point out the allusion to a certain recognizable myth; secondly, the presence of ritual elements that establish the connection between the myth and the sacred; and, finally, the role of the word as a fundamental element that renews, preserves and diffuses the memory of the sacred, that is, of the mythological. The chosen novels are true examples of the processes of experimentation developed in each of these fields - myth, ritual, word - in an artistic practice that brings together different ways of seeing the world, as well as creatively reinterpreting it through their own imaginaries. The central objective of this work is, therefore, to show that the presence of mythological elements in the three novels embodies the basic structural component of the three narratives and that this presence manifests itself in a specific way in each of the works under analysis.

De negros a afro-colombianos. Oportunidades políticas e dinâmicas de ação coletiva dos grupos negros na Colômbia / From Black to Afro-Colombians. Political opportunities and dynamics of collective action of Colombian black groups

Zambrano, Catalina González 02 April 2012 (has links)
In this dissertation we analyze the dynamics of collective action of Colombian black groups, since the abolition of slave trade in 1851, until contemporary Colombia. This sociohistorical focus has the intuition to observe how changes in political opportunities aloud collective action of a social group. In so far as political opportunities given by the State are positive for mobilization, we are interested in the comprehension of which strategies are chosen for groups to mobilize, as well as the usage of resources by activists. Also we are interested in understanding the alliances and specialization of the activism in certain political regimes. The dynamic of organization of Afro-Colombian Movement changed during the last decade of the 20th century, when a new constitution was adopted. And has changed once again during the first decade of the 21st century, when Colombian black population became the main victims of the armed conflict in the country.

A revista colombiana Mito e os alcances do seu discurso político-cultural / The Colombian magazine Mito and its political-cultural speech reach

Kawakami, Vitor 15 August 2016 (has links)
In the last decades, it has been very significant the attention given by critics, historians or Colombian literature researchers to Mito bimonthly magazine of culture (1955-1962). The interest generated about this publication promoted by Jorge Gaitán Durán, Hernando Valencia Goelkel, Pedro Gómez Valderrama, Eduardo Cote Lamus, Rafael Gutiérrez Girardot and Jorge Eliécer Ruiz, mentioning those who were mainly responsible for this, was especially due to the editorial efficacy that enjoyed the achievement of 42 numbers of an unquestionable literary quality, in critical terms and esthetic propagation. The magazine had many collaborators with national and international relevance and through its pages the Colombian readers could be in touch with lines of thoughts that were helpful to became more modern the intellectual and cultural environment of the country. Mito magazine also promoted an editorial house of books and a radio program, both homonyms, as part of an ambitious project that together acted simultaneously in politics and cultural fields and contributed so expressively to mark Colombian culture that their directors were converted to canonic mandatory references for literature of XX century in Colombia and Latin America. The present research aimed to identify the journey of political-cultural speech from Mito magazine, and its extensions inside of what we considered here as Mito Project, that emerged due to the violent social crisis of the country and was supplied by the necessity of changing this reality, by the urgency of total liberty from human being and that has as main argumentative support the opinionated tolerance associated to ideological anti-dogmatism. As a consequence by the end of this publication, the imaginary created by this effective and influent speech promoted to its intellectuals the access to powerful fields, fact that not only permitted them the strong establishment of their literary performances as the canonic maintaining position along the years, as kind of perennial discursive conservation where lives complexes issues related to historiographical as traditional/rupture or synchrony/diachrony. For that, the research initially used as reference studies that made a relationship between Mito and previous national and international periodic magazines and publications (Los Nuevos, Lecturas Dominicales de El Tiempo, Revista de las Indias and Crítica / Les Temps Modernes, Sur, Revista Mexicana de Literatura) in order to look for influences or kind of discursive evidence that could cogitate any editorial tradition; after that it crossed over to the proper reading of main cultural aspects published in magazines pages or got form the project at all including the reading that allowed the identification of its politic representation, taking some polemic cases for the analysis; for finally dedication to the comprehension of political-cultural speech reach from Mito between power and literature fields in terms of cultural politic and historiography.

Aesthetic and documentary dimension of the work of Gabriel García Márquez between 1980 and 1996.

Diaz, Raúl José 13 June 2009 (has links)
A stylistic school, a vehicle for recollection and reflection, an experimental field with narrative forms, Gabriel García Márquez’s journalistic works are characterised by both an undeniable literary ambition and genuine documentary value. An examination of the columns, Notas de Prensa 1980-84, and the reportage, Noticia de un secuestro [1996], leads to the following finding: the attempt at aesthetic transformation that runs throughout these works confirms what was already obvious in the initial period (1948-1961), the consolidation of a singular level in his work that approaches in a subsidiary but not subordinate manner his literary works proper. This quest can be seen definitively in all his reportage work, the area in which the approach to the documentary material borders on that of the novel form. The key to this transposition of rhetorical and narrative recourse to non-fiction would appear to be found in the style –its inalterable nature. It is in this way that the interplay between the two fields of his writing proves to be so rich; both ultimately strive for a poetical vision of reality and they independently validate their representative processes. However, this converging trend also contains some areas of tension, not least of which when the author allows himself to digress in his columns into what is nothing less than a brief sketch of a fictional work. In contrast, in the reportage intended to be written as a novel, a strict adherence to the investigation itself becomes increasingly crucial. It is in this way that his journalism can be seen as both a precursor in the Colombian press and as part of a universal current.

Evaluation of the economic impact of geographical indications : three case studies / Evaluation de l’impact économique des indications géographiques : trois études de cas

Diallo, Aliou Baguissa 30 May 2017 (has links)
This thesis evaluates the economic impact of quality-related-to-origin policies using evaluation methods adapted to the specificity of such certifications, in particular, the spatial dimension. First, we analyze the effect of a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) adoption on price and production costs of PDO milk producers in Franche-Comté using a Geographic Regression Discontinuity (GRD) design. Secondly, we use propensity matching methods to analyze regional heterogeneity in Auvergne, Rhône-Alpes, and Franche-Comté before focusing on the effect of the PDO adoption at a national level. Finally, we evaluate the effect of the adoption of a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) on prices paid to Colombian coffee producers using synthetic control methods. Overall, we find that PDO and/or PGI adoption is associated with positive effects on farmers' economic performances. However, these effects are not homogeneously distributed.

Religion, Politics and War In the Creation of an Ethos of Conflict in Colombia; The case of the War of the Thousand Days (1899-1902)

Diaz Caceres, Margarita J 26 March 2018 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to understand the way in which religion and politics played a role in the formulation of a cyclical ethos of conflict, focusing in the last and most important civil war of nineteenth-century Colombia: The War of the Thousand Days (1899-1902). A historiographical review was used to understand the interactions between these two structures, and it pointed at a main problem centered in the political use of religion, as well as the transformation of political debate into a matter of political faith. In conclusion, the War of the Thousand days strengthened narratives of vengeance, worsened the situation of the country, and solidified an ethos of conflict in which the State used the Church to legitimize itself against the threats to the status quo of systemic inequality.

La rupture unilatérale du contrat pour inexécution en droit colombien / The unilateral breach of the contract for non-performance in the colombian law

Morales Huertas, Sandra Margarita 14 December 2018 (has links)
Under the Colombian law, the general rule in case of breach of contract is that of termination as a consequence of a court order. Its conditions of exercise have been the object of development by the doctrine and case law, not without several issues that make difficult to understand and put into practice such category. In contrast with this traditional vision, unilateralism breaks in the contemporary contractual world and more specifically, the possibility of termination of contract in such a unilateral way in case of a breach. This trend has its roots in Common law and has been permeating the countries of Roman-Germanic law tradition; and it aims to grant vitality to that critical contractual phase, thus avoiding the intervention of the judge, at least as a first measure, allowing the creditor to remedy the consequences of the breach of contract by an early termination in order to seek effective solutions in the marketplace. Could this rule have a place in Colombian law? Despite the seemingly apparent monopoly of judicial termination of contract, both the civil code and the code of commerce acknowledge this as a possibility. Similarly, more recently the possibility of including termination clauses has been accepted. However, we hold that it is possible to accept a generalization of the rule of unilateral termination of contract in case of breach. A study of comparative law regarding the breach that results in contract termination and the analysis on the way this prerogative should be exercised are of great importance; it does not only enriches a proposal providing the parameters for the unilateral termination of a contract when a breach arises in Colombian Law, but also clarifies the understanding that until now exists in the matter of termination for non-performance.
