Alterações ambientais associadas à mineração no município de São Carlos (SP), utilizando AHP e SIG / Environmental changes associated with mining in the municipality of São Carlos (SP), using AHP and GIS

Este trabalho apresenta um método de avaliação preliminar e regional dos impactos ambientais existentes e potenciais associados às atividades minerárias em um território municipal. A avaliação foi centrada nos impactos de natureza geológico-geotécnica e sócio-biótica abrangendo as seguintes etapas: revisão bibliográfica, levantamento dos processos minerários no Departamento Nacional de Produção Mineral (DNPM), classificação dos processos ativos e inativos, definição dos polígonos dos processos para análise com os mapas analíticos. Paralelamente fez-se a elaboração da base cartográfica digital e Modelo Digital do Terreno (MDT), elaboração dos mapas de suscetibilidade à erosão e de danos e restrições ambientais utilizando AHP, vistorias de campo, e finalmente análise e elaboração da avaliação dos impactos ambientais e sugestão de medidas mitigadoras. Todas essas etapas de trabalho foram realizadas em ambiente SIG (Sistema de Informação Geográfica). Os trabalhos cartográficos foram desenvolvidos na escala 1:50.000. O método desenvolvido foi aplicado no município de São Carlos, localizado na região centro-oeste do estado de São Paulo. Como resultado obteve-se cinqüenta e cinco áreas requeridas para mineração, onde quarenta e seis estão com seus processos ativos e nove inativos. Em relação aos processos ativos existem treze áreas requeridas que já possuem minerações instaladas e em operação. O trabalho também levantou minerações abandonadas no município que foram classificadas como áreas com passivos ambientais. / This paper shows a method of preliminary and regional assessment of existing and potential environmental impacts associated with mining activities in a municipality. The review was focused on the impacts of geological and geotechnical nature and socio- biotic comprising the following steps : literature review, survey of mining processes in the National Department of Mineral Production (DNPM), classification of active and inactive processes, defining processes for polygons analysis with analytical maps. Made parallel to the preparation of digital base map and Digital Terrain Model (MDT), preparation of maps of susceptibility to erosion and damage and environmental constraints using AHP , field inspections, and finally analysis and preparation of environmental impact assessment and suggested mitigation measures. All these steps were performed work in GIS (Geographic Information System) environment. The cartographic work was done on 1:50,000 scale. The developed method was applied in São Carlos, located in the midwestern region of the state of São Paulo. As a result we obtained fifty-five areas required for mining, which forty-six are active processes with their nine inactive. In relation to active processes are required thirteen areas that already have installed and operating mines. The work also raised abandoned mines in the county that were classified as areas with environmental liabilities.

Along with the development of that outsourcing, a new model named Cloud Computing (CC) evolved. It proposes to migrate to the Internet both data processing and information storing. Among the key points of Cloud Computing are included cost-cutting, benefits, risks and the IT paradigms changes. Nonetheless, the adoption of that model brings forth some difficulties to decision-making, by IT managers, mainly with regard to which solutions may go to the cloud, and which service providers are more appropriate to the Organization s reality. The research has as its overall aim to apply the AHP Method (Analytic Hierarchic Process) to decision-making in Cloud Computing. There to, the utilized methodology was the exploratory kind and a study of case applied to a nationwide organization (Federation of Industries of RN). The data collection was performed through two structured questionnaires answered electronically by IT technicians, and the company s Board of Directors. The analysis of the data was carried out in a qualitative and comparative way, and we utilized the software to AHP method called Web-Hipre. The results we obtained found the importance of applying the AHP method in decision-making towards the adoption of Cloud Computing, mainly because on the occasion the research was carried out the studied company already showed interest and necessity in adopting CC, considering the internal problems with infrastructure and availability of information that the company faces nowadays. The organization sought to adopt CC, however, it had doubt regarding the cloud model and which service provider would better meet their real necessities. The application of the AHP, then, worked as a guiding tool to the choice of the best alternative, which points out the Hybrid Cloud as the ideal choice to start off in Cloud Computing. Considering the following aspects: the layer of Infrastructure as a Service IaaS (Processing and Storage) must stay partly on the Public Cloud and partly in the Private Cloud; the layer of Platform as a Service PaaS (Software Developing and Testing) had preference for the Private Cloud, and the layer of Software as a Service - SaaS (Emails/Applications) divided into emails to the Public Cloud and applications to the Private Cloud. The research also identified the important factors to hiring a Cloud Computing provider / Os avan?os da Internet e das telecomunica??es vem mudando os conceitos da Tecnologia da Informa??o - TI, principalmente no que diz respeito ? terceiriza??o dos servi?os, onde as organiza??es buscam redu??o de custos e um melhor foco no neg?cio. O AHP é uma técnica tomada de decisão múltiplos critérios, onde a experiência e o conhecimento das pessoas é pelo menos tão valioso quanto os dados utilizados. São estabelecidos cenários, o método é aplicado e os resultados obtidos não permitem uma conclusão. Após análise dos resultados, revistos os critérios inconclusivos e os dados inexistentes, há nova rodada do método e os resultados apontam para uma alternativa. / This paper presents the choice of an alternative transformation of the energy generated by ocean waves into electrical energy using a method of decision making. Makes an overview regarding the use of energy and its array of world c onsumption. Presents technologies wave energy conversion, showing the main. After are presented several methods of decision-making and nominated for case proposed Analytic Hierarchical Process. The AHP is a technique multiple criteria decision making, where the experience and knowledge of people is at least as valuable as the data used. Are established scenarios, the method is applied and the results do not permit a conclusion. After analysis of the results, revised the criteria inconclusive and the nonexistent data, there's new round of method and the results point to an alternative.

A estratégia de Tecnologia da Informação - TI é um aspecto fundamental para todos os negócios e a sua efetiva implementação requer o domínio do alinhamento estratégico. Um dos grandes desafios dos executivos de TI é como administrar toda a demanda gerada pelas áreas negociais, tendo presente o alinhamento estratégico. Este estudo analisa a forma como o Banco do Brasil que nos últimos anos promoveu uma transformação na área de TI, vem tratando o tema alinhamento estratégico e como as decisões afetam as áreas negociais daquela Instituição. Ao estudar o tema tomada de decisão, a sustentação recai nos trabalhos desenvolvidos por Herbert A. Simon e Paul C. Nutt dois dos principais estudiosos do assunto. A abrangência da matéria determina a necessidade de sua delimitação, razão pela qual este estudo focaliza a aplicação do Método AHP (Análise Hierárquica de Processos) no universo de tomadas de decisão, no contexto do alinhamento estratégico. O estudo de caso explora o processo de tomada de decisão no Banco do Brasil e o seu modelo de priorização de demandas, baseado no Método AHP como um dos sustentáculos do alinhamento estratégico. Analisa como esse modelo vem viabilizando a redução do seu backlog, um dos maiores problemas de gestão de TI. Apresenta ainda dois estudos ex post facto para demonstrar a aplicabilidade de software de apoio à decisão baseado no Método AHP. A análise dos resultados assinala a necessidade de a área de TI incorporar mais um novo conceito denominado Governança Corporativa que poderá provocar uma ruptura no tradicional modelo de gestão de TI. / The Information Technology - IT strategy is a fundamental issue for every business. The effective use of IT strategy requests the domain of the strategic alignment. One of the biggest challenges for executives of IT is how to administrate all the demands in the business area considering the strategic alignment. This study analyses how the Banco do Brasil that in the last few years has promoted a true revolution in the IT area, it has dealt the strategic alignment theme and how the decisions affect the negotiating areas of that Institution. On studying the theme decision making, the largest support is on the work developed by Herbert A. Simon and Paul C. Nutt two of the main researchers of the theme. The importance of the theme determines the need of its delimitation. That is the reason why this study focuses on Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) application in the universe of decision making, in the strategic alignment. The case study explores the decision making process in the Banco do Brasil and his Demands Priority Model, based on AHP, like one of the support for the strategic alignment of IT. It analyses how this instrument is taking the reduction in its backlog, one of the biggest problems of the IT management. It also presents two studies ex post facto to demonstrate the applicability of decision support software based on the AHP. The analysis of the results marks the need of the IT area to incorporate a new concept called IT Corporate Governance that will disrupt the traditional IT management model.

Contribution à l'interopérabilité des entreprises par alignement d'ontologies / Contribution of ontology alignment to enterprise interoperability

Cette thèse propose l’utilisation de l’alignement d'ontologies pour contribuer à l'interopérabilité d’une fédération d’entreprises en se basant sur l'interopérabilité des données au niveau sémantique. Une approche d'alignement basée sur des modèles d’ontologie utilisant les mots noyaux est proposée en réponse aux problèmes et aux défis existants, visant ainsi à améliorer la capacité d'adaptation et la précision dans la mise en correspondance de concepts. De plus une étape d'agrégation des « matchers » analytique, qui permet de combiner automatiquement plusieurs adaptateurs et d'améliorer les résultats combinés, vient compléter l’approche. Un système prototype a été mis en œuvre à l’issue des travaux conceptuels pour la validation de l’approche proposée. Les expériences démontrent que l’approche proposée a obtenu des résultats prometteurs et a atteint les objectifs escomptés sur la définition de proximité des concepts. L'approche d'alignement d’ontologies proposée et le système de prototype mis en œuvre ont enfin été appliqués à une architecture dirigée par les ontologies et axée sur l'interrogation des données de plusieurs bases de données relationnelles. / This thesis brings ontology alignment to contribute to federated enterprise interoperability focusing on data interoperability at the semantic level. In response to existing problems and challenges, aiming at improving the matching ability and precision, a pattern-based core word ontology alignment approach is proposed, as well as an analytic matcher aggregation approach, which allows combining the multiple matchers automatically and improve the combined results. A prototype system is implemented for validation and further application based on the proposed approaches. The experiments suggest that the proposed approaches obtained promising results and reached expected goals. The proposed ontology alignment approach and implemented prototype system are applied to an ontology-driven architecture for querying data from multiple relational databases.

Metodologia para reposição de serviço e gestão de carga em microrredes inteligentes / Methodology for service reestablishment in smart microgrid by load shedding

This work presents the development of a methodology to service replacement and management loads in islanded smart grid by load shedding, supported by Distributed Generation, to avoid or reduce violations of continuity indicators, subject to penalties for infringement, established in Module 8 of PRODIST, ANEEL (2015a). To adjust the power demanded by the load to the power generated during the islanding of microrrede specifies to the best loads to be rejected by Multicriteria Methodology Analytic Hierarchy Process - AHP. In applying of methodology it was considered as criteria the continuity indicators that generate compensation to consumers for violation, and also it was considered the priority of continuity of supply to loads. Thus, for the formation of the island, is obtained as a preliminary result, a classification of loads in order of need for service. The best loads classified will be reconnected to microrrede until that GD units do not support new loads or that they violate any of the restrictions, being the remaining loads rejected. In continuously, they was made a reassessment in every pre-set period of time in order to identify new possible loads shedding to be made. This revaluation occurs in two distinct scenarios, both for typical day as for critical day. Any Violations of system constraints are checked by software of load flow calculation. Thus, obtained as final result a whole of loads to be served during replacement or continuity of the service. / Este trabalho apresenta o desenvolvimento de uma metodologia para reposição de serviço e gestão de cargas em microrrede inteligente ilhada, suportada por unidades de Geração Distribuída, a fim de evitar ou atenuar violações dos indicadores de continuidade, passíveis de penalidades por violação, estabelecidos no Módulo 8 dos Procedimentos de Rede da Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica PRODIST, ANEEL (2015a). Para adequar a potência demandada pelas cargas à potência gerada, durante o ilhamento da microrrede, definem-se as melhores cargas a serem rejeitadas, por meio da Metodologia Multicritério Analytic Hierarchy Process AHP. Na aplicação da metodologia foram considerados como critérios os indicadores de continuidade passíveis de compensações aos consumidores por violação, e também, foi considerada a prioridade de continuidade do fornecimento às cargas. Assim, para a formação da ilha, obtém-se como resultado preliminar, uma classificação das cargas em ordem de necessidade de atendimento. As cargas melhores classificadas são reconectadas à microrrede até que as unidades de GD não suportem novas cargas ou que ocorra a violação de alguma das restrições, sendo as demais cargas rejeitadas. De forma contínua, são feitas reavaliações a cada período de tempo pré-definido de forma a identificar novas possíveis rejeições ou reconexões de carga a serem realizados durante o ilhamento. Esta reavaliação ocorre em dois cenários distintos, tanto para dia típico como para dia crítico. Eventuais violações das restrições do sistema são verificadas por meio de software para cálculo de fluxo de carga. Desta forma, obtém-se como resultado final um conjunto de cargas a serem atendidas durante a reposição ou continuidade do serviço.

Analytisk Hierarkisk Process och Analystisk Nätverksprocess : Metodutvärdering

Rädslan för att bli utsatt för ett brott och därmed bygga upp en otrygghetskänsla kan hämma människor att välja en specifik väg eller att vistas på speciella platser. Gävle kommun arbetar kontinuerligt för att skapa en trygg och säker miljö för invånarna där den upplevda tryggheten är lika viktig som den faktiska. Eftersom trygghet är något som påverkar alla i samhället applicerades denna studie på en GIS-baserad multikriterieanalys (MKA) på tryggaste vägvalet för gång- och cykeltrafikanter i Gävle kommun. Analysteknikerna analytisk hierarkisk process (AHP) och analytisk nätverksprocess (ANP) tillämpades för att utvärdera hur respektive teknik påverkade resultatet i en MKA. Målet med studien var att analysera skillnaderna mellan AHP och ANP samt hur de påverkar resultatet, identifiera hur kriterier och vikt styr trygghetsanalysen samt formulera förslag på andra appliceringsområden. För att erhålla lokal kännedom om samt rangordning av relevanta kriterier, ur trygghetsperspektiv vid samhällsplanering, utfördes intervjuer med en trafikplanerare, en landskapsarkitekt samt en översiktsplanerare vid Gävle kommun. Kartlagren som användes erhölls från Gävle kommun, Lantmäteriet samt Gävle Energi. Programvaror för databearbetning och analys var ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine samt SuperDecisions.  Analysresultatet visade att de tryggaste områdena är Esplanaden i centrala Gävle, norra delen av stadsdelen Sätra samt Hille i norra Gävle. Platsbesöket gav en stark bild av att villaområden kändes tryggast utifrån gång- och cykeltrafikanters behov. De primära kriterierna att vara nära belysning, ha fri sikt, att det är människor i rörelse (relaterat till byggnader och busshållplatser) samt att vara långt ifrån tunnlar uppfylldes i olika villaområden runtom i Gävle. Fördelen med AHP var att den är enkel att bygga upp och kan tydligt visualisera hur olika parametrar påverkar varandra i en hierarkisk struktur. ANP däremot var något mer avancerad även i ett enkelt nätverk, men påverkades inte av den som utförde de parvisa jämförelserna på samma sätt som i AHP, eftersom det är svårare att förutse vilken rangordning de olika kriterierna tilldelas när klustren har inre och yttre beroende samt återkoppling till varandra. / The fear of being a victim of a crime can hamper people to choose a specific path or to reside in specific locations, and thus build up a sense of insecurity. Gävle kommun have a continuously work to create a safe and secure environment for residents, where the perceived safety is as important as the actual. Because safety is something that affects all of society the study was applied on a GIS-based multi-criteria analysis (MCA) for the safest route selection for pedestrians and cyclists in Gävle. The analysis techniques analytical hierarchical process (AHP) and analytic network process (ANP) was applied to evaluate how each technology affected the result in MCA. The aim of the study was to analyze the differences between the techniques and how they affect the results, identify the criteria and how weight control safety analysis, and formulate suggestions for other application areas. To obtain local knowledge and ranking of relevant criteria interviews with a traffic planner, a landscape architect and an overview planner at Gävle kommun was conducted. Software for data processing and analysis was ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine and SuperDecisions. After analyzing the results a site visit were performed. The site visit gave indications of the residential areas as safe due to the needs of a pedestrian or cyclist. The primary criteria are to be close to lighting, have a clear view, that there are people in motion (related to buildings and bus stops) and to be far from tunnels met in residential areas in different parts of Gävle. One advantage with the AHP was the simplicity of the hierarchical structure and the easy way of demonstrating the results. ANP on the other hand was more complex due to the network model. The pairwise comparisons did not get as much influence from the decision maker as in the AHP.

New AHP methods for handling uncertainty within the Belief Function Theory / De nouvelles méthodes, fondées sur l'AHP, pour traiter l'incertitude à l'aide de la théorie des fonctions de croyance

L'aide à la décision multicritères regroupe des méthodes permettant de choisir la meilleure solution en fonction des différents critères et compte tenu des préférences des experts. Toutefois, ces préférences sont parfois exprimées de manière imparfaite. La théorie des fonctions de croyance modélise de manière souple les connaissances et fournit des outils mathématiques pour gérer les différents types d'imperfection. Ainsi dans cette thèse, nous nous intéressons à la prise de décision multicritères dans un cadre incertain en étendant la méthode d’Analyse Hiérarchique des Procédés (AHP) à la théorie des fonctions de croyance. Après avoir présenté les fondements théoriques de la méthode AHP, nous avons proposé une approche qui permet de réduire le nombre de comparaisons par paires en jugeant des sous-ensembles de critères et d’alternatives. En outre, nous avons examiné la dépendance entre les critères et les alternatives. Dans ce cas, l'incertitude au niveau des évaluations est donnée sous forme de masses conditionnelles. Une autre partie de nos travaux répond aux critiques concernant la procédure de comparaison. Pour cela, nous avons proposé deux approches. La première technique d’élicitation des jugements de l’expert est fondée sur des distributions de masses, alors que la seconde s'appuie sur des relations de préférence. Dans ce cadre, nous avons introduit un modèle qui permet de générer des distributions de masse quantitatives à partir des relations de préférence. Ainsi, nous avons développé une méthode multicritères qui permet d'imiter le raisonnement humain. Cette méthode produit des résultats meilleurs et plus robustes que les approches de la littérature. / Multi-criteria decision making is the study of identifying and choosing alternatives to find the best solution based on different criteria and considering the decision makers’ expectations. However, the expert assessments are sometimes expressed imperfectly. Belief function theory can then provide more flexible and reliable tools to manage different types of imperfection. Thus, in this thesis, we are interested in multi-criteria decision making in an uncertain framework by extending the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to the belief function framework. After presenting the theoretical foundations of the AHP method, we proposed an approach that reduces the number of pair-wise comparisons by judging subsets of criteria and alternatives. In addition, we examined the dependence between the criteria and alternatives. In this case, the uncertainty is given in terms of conditional mass distributions. Another part of the work provides critical concerning the pair-wise comparison process. For this purpose, we proposed two approaches. The first expert judgment elicitation method is based on mass distributions, while the second one is based on preference relations. In this context, we have introduced a model that is able to generate quantitative mass distributions from preference relations. Thus, we have developed a multi-criteria decision making method that imitates human reasoning. This method gives better and more robust results than existing approaches.

Tillgången på så kallade molntjänster är något som har ökat de senaste åren, vilket inneburit att många klassiska tjänster nu även erbjuds i molnet. Ett beslut ifall denna typ av lösningar skall användas, påverkas av många olika aspekter som ofta är unika för den specifika organisationen. Således finns ett behov av ett underlag som tillgodoser de kriterier som är viktiga för organisationen, men också ger en överblick av de olika alternativen. Samtidigt måste även hänsyn tas till organisationens subjektiva uppfattning vid beslutsfattandet, för att på så sätt kunna genomföra ett genomtänkt och välgrundat val om vilket alternativ som bör användas. Målet med undersökningen har varit att bidra med ny information inom området och påvisa hur det praktiskt kan gå till att ta fram denna typ av underlag för att motivera sitt beslut. Detta har undersökts genom att i en fallstudie jämföra tre olika plattformsalternativ för Microsoft SharePoint och rangordna dessa efter en redan befintlig metod för att ta beslut baserade på flera kriterier. Valet av metod föll på Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) vilket är en etablerad metod som även används inom många andra områden och lämpar sig för beslut baserad på subjektiva uppfattningar. Undersökningen har visat att det är möjligt att använda AHP för denna typ av jämförelse, för att få en överblick mellan de olika alternativen och för att slutgiltligen få fram det alternativ som är lämpligast, vilket i detta fall blev molnlösningen. / The availability of so called cloud services has increased during the last years, which in turn means that many of the classical solutions often found locally, now are offered in the cloud. A decision if a cloud solution should be used is affected by many different aspects, which in many cases are unique for the specific organization. Therefore there is a need for a method which takes all these important criteria’s into account, but also creates a good overview of the different options. At the same time the organization’s subjective perception also has to be taken into account, so that the material can serve as a solid foundation for a decision of which option that should be used. The goal of this study has been to contribute with new information and also to practically prove how this type of material can be created and used to motivate a decision. This has been dealt with as a case study, by comparing three different platform options for Microsoft SharePoint and rank them accordingly, after an already existing method for multi-criteria decision making. The method used ended up to be Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), which is an established method used in many other areas and takes subjective perception into account. The study has shown that it is possible to use AHP for this kind of comparison and that it will give you an overview between the different options, but also select the one most appropriate to use according to the

GIS-baserad multikriterieanalys för placering av små modulära reaktorer i Sveriges fjärde elområde

Med den nuvarande situationen med ökade oroligheter i Europa, bristande elproduktion och en utveckling mot mer elektrifierade samhällen så har ett behov för hållbara energikällor uppstått. Många länder har börjat satsa på små modulära reaktorer (SMR) istället för storskaliga kärnkraftverk då de kan serietillverkas och är enkla att bygga vilket gör dem kostnadseffektiva. Denna studie fokuserade på var den mest optimala placeringen av SMR är inom elområde 4 om man bortser från 17 kap 6a§ miljöbalken. Elområde 4 valdes då det är det elområdet som producerar allra minst och har störst underskott av el. Detta gjordes med hjälp av en multikriterieanalys (MKA) och en efterföljande känslighetsanalys med totalt sex restriktionskriterier och nio faktorer med anvisningar hämtade från svensk lagstiftning, tidigare studier och internationella atomenergiorganet (IAEA). För att bedöma placeringen genomfördes en viktsättning med hjälp av intervjuer och enkäter med fyra olika personer med olika expertisområden inom kärnkraft. För att relatera faktorernas vikter till varandra användes Analytisk Hierarki process (AHP)-metoden vid skapandet av den genomsnittliga viktsättningen. En MKA-karta gjordes för att ta reda på vart den mest optimala platsen är utifrån den genomsnittliga viktsättningen samt en egen karta för de olika experternas egna viktsättningar. Det följdes upp av en känslighetsanalys med en faktor i taget (OAT) metoden och genom att eliminera en faktor i taget för att avgöra ifall den mest optimala platsen ändras och procentuellt hur mycket som arean ändras mellan de olika modellerna. Resultatet visar att den mest optimala platsen att placera en SMR är runtom Barsebäck, där det har stått ett storskaligt kärnkraftverk sedan tidigare. Man kan dra slutsatsen att känslighetsanalysen är robust och att den inte påverkas mycket av förändringar. / With the current situation of increased tension in Europe, inadequate electricity production, and a move towards more electrified societies, there has arisen a need for sustainable energy sources. Many countries have started investing in small modular reactors (SMR) instead of large-scale nuclear power plants as they can be mass-produced and are easy to build, making them cost-effective. This study focused on the most optimal location for SMRs within the fourth electrical bidding zone, disregarding section 17-chapter 6a§ of the Swedish Environmental Code. Bidding zone four was chosen as it produces the least amount of electricity and has the largest deficit. This was done using a multicriteria analysis (MCA) and a subsequent sensitivity analysis with a total of six restriction criteria and nine factors considering guidelines taken from Swedish legislation, previous studies on the subject, and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). To evaluate the placement interviews and questionnaires with four different people with different areas of expertise in nuclear power were carried out as a basis for the average weighting. The Analytic Hierarchy process (AHP) where used to evaluate the factors relative weights to each other. An average MCA map was made to determine the most optimal location based on the average weighting and a separate map for the different experts' own weightings. This was followed by a sensitivity analysis using one factor at a time (OAT) method, and by eliminating a factor to determine how the most optimal location changes, and the percentage of how much the area changes between the different models. The results show that the most optimal site to place an SMR is around Barsebäck where there was a large-scale nuclear power plant previously. One can conclude that the sensitivity analysis is robust and is not significantly impacted by changes.
