Amapá as purpose to the integration of this brazilian region nation and fundamentally
to demonstrate that this political autonomy meant the conquest of a brazilian identity.
How it was up to Janary Nunes as first territorial governor, the task of accomplishing
this integration, in this way he became the Amapá imaginary founder . As central
questions developed by this work, they have the images about Amazony as
conditional element to the construction of the project which originated the
amapaense territory; the administ>ration pretension of Janary Nunes in constructing
a idea of the beginning to a new territory; the janarista administration base
conditioned to the varguista ideals of development to the country; and the search in
forming the amapaense brazilian citizen as fundamental element in the construction
of the Amapá wondered. It was researched the files of the State produced during the
Janary Nunes government (1944-1956) what it was used as sources: the
newspapers of the territorial official press Amapá from this period; government
reports; IBGE sources; official correspondence; Constituent Body Anals from 1946;
books and memorials of this period / O presente trabalho objetivou estudar a criação do Território Federal do Amapá
tornar o imaginário fundador do Amapá.

State has an important natural lake system, known as The Amap? Lakes Region . Most of these lakes are on the southern part of Amap? s coastal plain, which has 300 km of extension and it s composed by holocenic sediments deposited at the northern part of Amazon River to the Orange Cape located on the northern part of Amap? state. This region is under influence of the Amazon River discharge which is the largest liquid discharge of about 209.000 m?/s and biggest sediment budget discharged on the ocean in the order 6.108 ton per day. The climate is influenced by the Intertropical Convergence Zone and El Ni?o Southern Oscillation which act mainly under precipitation, nebulosity, local rivers and tidal hidrology. In this region lake belts are Ocidental, Oriental and Meridional Lake Belts. The last one is formed by the by the lakes Comprido de Cima, Botos, Bacia, Lod?o, Ventos, Mutuco and Comprido de Baixo. These lakes are the closest to the Araguari River and are characterized by pelitic sedimentation associated with fluvial and estuarine flood plains under influence of tides. The lakes are interconnected, suffer influence of flood pulses from the Tartarugal, Tartarugalzinho and Araguari rivers and the hydrodynamic and morphodynamic know edge is poor. Volume and area reduction, natural eutrophication, anthophic influence, hidrodynamic alterations, morphological changes and are factors which can contribute to the closing of such lakes on the Meridional Lake Belt. This belt is inside the boundaries of the Biological Reserve of Piratuba Lake, created in 1980 for integral protection. Due to the fragility of the environment together with the poor knowledge of the system and with the study area relevancy it is necessary to know the hydrodynamic and geoenvironmental processes. This work aims the characterization of morphodynamic and hydrodynamic processes in order to understand the geoambiental context of the Meridional Lake Belt, from the Comprido de Baixo Lake to the dos Ventos Lake, including the Tabaco Igarape. Methodology was based on the hydrodynamic data acquisition: liquid discharge (acoustic method), tides, bathymetry and the interpretation of multitemporal remote sensing images, integrated in a Geographic Information System (GIS). By this method charts of the medium liquid discharges of Lake Mutuco and Tabacco Igarape the maximum velocity of flow were estimated in: 1.1 m/s, 1.6 m/s and 1.6 m/s (rainy season) and 0.6 m/s, 0.6 m/s and 0.7 m/s (dry period), the maximum flow in: 289 m?/s, 297 m?/s and 379 m?/s (rainy season) and 41 m?/s , 79 m?/s and 105 m?/s (dry period), respectively. From the interpretation of multitemporal satellite images, maps were developed together with the analysis of the lakes and Tobaco Igarape evolution from 1972 to 2008, and were classified according to the degree of balance in the area: stable areas, eutrophic areas, areas of gain, and eroded areas. Troughout analysis of the balance of areas, it was possible to quantify the volume of lake areas occupied by aquatic macrophytes. The study sought to understand the hydrodynamic and morphodynamic processes occurring in the region, contributing to the elucidation of the processes which cause and/or favor geoenvironmental changes in the region; all such information is fundamental to making the management of the area and further definition of parameters for environmental monitoring and contributing to the development of the management plan of the Biological Reserve of Lake Piratuba. The work activities is a part of the Project "Integration of Geological, geophysical and geochemical data to Paleogeographic rebuilding of Amazon Coast, from the Neogene to the Recent / O Estado do Amap? abrange um importante sistema lacustre natural, conhecido como A Regi?o dos Lagos do Amap? . Tabaco: 1,173 m/s, 1,685 e 1,684 m/s (per?odo chuvoso) e 0,692 m/s, 0,626 m/s e 0,722 m/s (per?odo seco); as m?ximas vaz?es em: 289 m?/s, 297 m?/s e 379 m?/s (per?odo chuvoso) e 41 m?/s, 79 m?/s e 105 m?/s (per?odo seco), respectivamente.

In the mid-1940s, in the extreme north of the country, began the preparations for the installation of the first industrial mineral exploration project in the Amazon. This development was related to policy guidelines, economic and strategic established during the New State to various regions of the country regarded as peripheral and lagging behind the dynamic centers of the national economy. Thus, according to the official discourse, the exploitation of manganese nodules in the region of Serra do Navio, located within the Federal Territory of Amapá, would create the necessary conditions for the development of this important border area, while it would help to the formation of a true "equatorial civilization." However, the implementation of the new society would require restructuring the existing patterns of sociability among a population largely focused on the extraction. Thus, the impacts on the social organization and various transformations occurred in that territory, between the 1940 and 1960, are analyzed with reference to the assembly of that complex mineral-exporter, which stands out for having designed two company towns in the forest Amazon, with whom the company Indústria e Comércio de Minérios S.A was seeking a specific type of worker and family, forming communities guided by principles of harmony between capital and labor / Mestrado / Historia Social / Mestre em História

The Neural Substrate of Sex Pheromone Signalling in Male Goldfish (Carassius auratus)Lado, Wudu E. 26 October 2012 (has links)
The transmission of sex pheromone-mediated signals is essential for goldfish reproduction. However, the neural pathways underlying this reproductive signalling pathway in the goldfish brain is not well described. Lesioning experiments have shown previously that two brain areas, the preoptic area (POA) and the ventral telencephali pars ventralis (Vv) in particular, are important for reproduction. We used patch clamp electrophysiology to study the electrical activities of POA and Vv neurons. Based on the intrinsic properties of these neurons, we suggest there are five different functional classes of POA neurons and a single class of Vv neurons. In addition, by electrically stimulating the olfactory bulb (OB), we were able to show that this primary sensory structure makes monosynaptic glutamatergic connections with both POA and Vv neurons. While electrophysiology measures signalling events occurring at short time scales on the order of milliseconds to minutes, we were also interested in studying sex pheromone signalling in the goldfish brain over a long time scale. Thus, we describe changes in gene expression in male goldfish exposed to waterborne sex pheromones (17alpha,20beta dihydroxy-4-pregene-3-one and Prostaglandin-F2alpha) over 6 hours. We perform cDNA microarrays on Prostaglandin-F2alpha-treated fish to study the rapid modulation of transcription and define the signalling pathways affected. Our microarrays showed that 71 genes were differentially regulated (67 up and 4 down). Through gene ontology enrichment analysis, we found that these genes were involved in various biological processes such as RNA processing, neurotransmission, neuronal development, apoptosis, cellular metabolism and sexual reproduction. RT-PCRs were performed to validate our microarrays and to facilitate direct comparisons of the effects of the two sex pheromones, 17alpha,20beta dihydroxy-4-pregene-3-one and Prostaglandin-F2alpha. By combining electrophysiology and gene expression analyses, we were able to study sex-pheromone signalling on two different time scales. One short, occurring on the order of milliseconds to minutes, that involves electrical activities in the brain through the glutamatergic amino-3-hydroxy-5-methylisoxazole-4-propionate and N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors; and the other long occurring several hours later that involves changes in the gene expression levels of calmodulin and ependymin among other genes underlying neuroplasticity. Reproductive neuroplasticity in the goldfish may therefore require the activation of glutamatergic receptors which then activate downstream signals like calmodulin and ependymin to transform the sex pheromones-mediate signal into gene expression.

Previous issue date: 2007-02-13 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This dissertation aims to contrast the educators and the undergraduate senior students
representations on being a teacher, in an attempt to identify their conceptions about the
learning of the teaching profession. In order to achieve such objectives, we accomplished
interviews with four professors of the academic discipline of Didactics and used 115
questionnaires answered by the undergraduate students of Major s Degree in Teaching in
Language, Mathematics, History and Geography, who were attending the 7th semester, in June
2005, at the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP). This institution is still in its structuring
and developing phase, and shelters, in those courses, professors with much experience on
teachership, as much on the exercise of teaching as on technical-pedagogical functions in
primary and secondary schools, whose formation levels vary (from graduate studies in lato to
strictu sensu), working in a regime of exclusive dedication, with 40-hour weekly contract and
also young pupils, the majority from 20 to 25 years old, who had not been teaching yet.
Having as theoretical reference the notions of social construction of reality, proposed by Peter
Berger and Thomas Luckman, and representation in Pierre Bourdieu s and Roger Chartier s
perspective, understood as the cognitive instruments of apprehension of reality, from which
teaching and learning behavior are structured, it was verified that educators and undergraduate
senior students from Teaching courses have divergent conceptions regarding the needs which
should be acomplished in the formation process: while the later revendicate the offer of
activities of practice, the former believe it is necessary to offer the undergraduate senior
students a consistent theoretical-methodological reference, in a way that, understanding the
present, they could act in a perspective of changing the future. Yet the analyzed educators
and undergraduate senior students representations on being a teacher are built up with
ambiguity, revealing that the teacher is seen as a compound entity, sometimes a professional
of education, sometimes a missionary of education, whose diverse images are constituted and
associated, for instance, to the paradigms of the educated teacher, the technical teacher, the
Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP).
professor culto, do professor técnico, do professor missionário, do ator social e do prático reflexivo

Previous issue date: 2009-08-25 / This study aims to make an incursion in the daily lives of the inhabitants of the
Amapá, especially with the remnants of quilombos and riverside communities of the
archipelago of Bailique. From an ethnographic research carried out since 2004, this
work was inspired, mainly, on the ideas of Maurice Halbwachs, Pierre Nora and
Ecléa Bosi, about collective memory and its peculiarities, hand in hand with the
historical memory and local experience. As additional theories related to discursive
memory, were used the thoughts about the silence of memory and the ideas of
Barthes about the noise of the memory found in speech. Bringing initially an overview
of Amapá, with its historical and cultural events, the study shows a kind of diary of the
journey, narrating from the preparations for the interviews beyond the theoretical
canonicals of methodology for its implementation. Information from the corpus, then
analyzed, guided the discussion of collective memory and its role in shaping the
cultural link between the real with the memories of abstractions fruit production of a
speech that creates meaning and transfers knowledge. Guided the analysis of the
corpus to considerations about the opportunity to collect something from the people
and their memories, it establishes a place that deserves further research on the
intangible right of property, land, gestures, objects, singing and speech. The analysis
revealed in intangible wealth leads, indeed, a testimony of strength of associations of
remnants of quilombos , at present in the fifth generation, which remain alive
outlining areas, reminding rights, scheduling changes, reprinted parties and dances,

As informações do corpus, posteriormente
conhecimento.

The analysis
revealed in intangible wealth leads, indeed, a testimony of strength of associations of
remnants of quilombos , at present in the fifth generation, which remain alive
outlining areas, reminding rights, scheduling changes, reprinted parties and dances,
without losing of the sight the past that preserved them and the way that encloses
