Este trabalho pretende analisar as relações de poder estabelecidas no interior de uma comunidade católica: a Paróquia de São Pedro de Vidigueiras, localizada na cidade de Teresópolis, Região Serrana do Rio de Janeiro. Para atingir tal objetivo realizo observação participante, análises comparativas e discussão com autores clássicos que abordam a questão do poder, principalmente Gramsci, Foucault, Bourdieu e Balandier. Entendo o poder como uma relação social. Nas relações de poder os sujeitos sociais buscam a construção da hegemonia (consenso estabelecido pela difusão ideológica) e/ou exercício da dominação (coerção pela violência). Os conflitos no campo religioso, ao menos no que tange à escala comunitária, possuem elementos característicos: a criação de símbolos, mitos, rituais, manutenção ou redefinição da memória coletiva e de concepções de mundo, o estabelecimento de redes de aliança etc. Portanto, faz-se necessário o estudo dos discursos e das praticas religiosas dos sujeitos e grupos constitutivos da comunidade, e dos mecanismos utilizados pelos mesmos para a construção da hegemonia. / This work intends to analyze the relationships of power established inside a Catholic community: the Parish of São Pedro de Vidigueiras, located in the city of Teresópolis, Highland Area of Rio de Janeiro. To reach such an objective I accomplish participant observation, comparative analyses and discussion with classic authors that approach the subject of the power, mainly Gramsci, Foucault, Bourdieu and Balandier. I understand the power as a social relationship. In the powers relationships the social actors look for the construction of the hegemony (established consensus for the ideological diffusion) and/or exercise of the dominance (coercion for the violence). The conflicts in the religious field, at least with respect to the community scale, they possess characteristic elements: the creation of symbols, myths, rituals, maintenance or redefinition of the collective memory and of world conceptions, the establishment of alliance nets etc. Therefore, it is done necessary the study of the speeches and of the you practice nuns of the subjects and constituent groups of the community, and of the mechanisms used by the same ones for the construction of the hegemony.

The field research helped to identify how the youth building happens in RCC regarding to gender , it means , the formation upon representations and teaching of the Catholic Church Doctrine which paradigms support and legitimize male and female identities and roles socially built. Os referenciais teóricos para sustentação dos estudos foram baseados no arcabouço das ciências sociais que tem dado suporte para reflexões e análises a respeito do fenômeno religioso católico carismático em interface com a juventude e gênero. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada na cidade de Goiânia, com jovens participantes da RCC, especificamente dos grupos de oração e da comunidade de vida. Para a realização deste estudo foi utilizada a pesquisa qualitativa, aplicando multimétodos: entrevista individual e grupal e história de vida. Diante de um cenário político e acadêmico que viu o vetor religião ganhar parte da cena política em questão, a intenção é voltar o olhar sobre as práticas políticas feitas pelas pessoas que eram parte do catolicismo carismático, um dos segmentos que contribuiu para o evidenciamento daquele vetor. Ciente de que as direções tomadas pela religião em 2010 foram extremamente controversas, procurei enfatizar o modo de organização que o catolicismo carismático desenvolveu para lidar com as eleições, criando um órgão especializado em política; como as candidaturas de membros desse segmento se fabricaram dentro de limites e possibilidades inerentes a suas inserções político-religiosas; e como uma mídia vinculada ao segmento carismático conduziu uma cobertura política em sua programação televisiva. A maneira como esses setores foram observados levou em conta a existência de uma situação multiposicional, evidenciada diante da impossibilidade de se perceber uma atitude verticalizada e uniforme no envolvimento político do catolicismo carismático. As articulações que atravessam suas ações e atitudes permitiam a visualização de algumas conexões e pontualizações provisórias, difíceis de serem generalizadas. É esse processo que tentarei demonstrar. / This thesis discusses the insertion of the Charismatic Catholicism in the Brazilian elections in 2010. Faced with a political and academic setting that saw the religion vector as part of this political scene, the intention is to focus the attention on the political practices made by people who were part of Charismatic Catholicism, one of the segments that contributed to evidence that vector. Aware that the directions taken by religion in 2010 were extremely controversial, I tryed to emphasize the organization way that the Charismatic Catholicism developed to handle the elections, creating a specialized organ in politics; how the candidacy of members of this segment are fabricated within the limits and possibilities of their political-religious inserts; and how a media linked to the charismatic segment directed a political coverage on its television broadcast. The way that these sectors were observed took into account the existence of a multiposicional situation, evidenced toward the impossibility of realizing a vertical and uniform attitude in the political involvement of the Charismatic Catholicism. The articulations that pass through their actions and attitudes allowed the visualization of some provisional connections and points, difficult to generalize. This is the process that I will attempt to demonstrate.

It aims to know the origin, the objectives, the organizative structure of the cristotecas , as well as the intents of the young people who take part of them and the influence of these parties over the youth. The cristotecas are analysed from the point of view of their inclusion in a wider context, configured by social and cultural changes the modern contemporary societies are passing over, whose transformations fall over the religious field and rouse new forms of organization and religious expressions. The focus of the investigation aims to verify how the music and the dance both coexisting along the human existence with religious purposes are used by the cristoteca not only for youth‟s leisure and entertainment, but specially as an strategy of evangelization: to attract the young people, to provide them a religious experience and an encounter with God, and to bring them to the Catholic Church communitarian convivial / Esta pesquisa tem como objeto de estudo as baladas católicas, denominadas cristotecas, promovidas desde 2003 pelo Movimento Eclesial Aliança de Misericórdia, na cidade de São Paulo. Visa conhecer a origem, os objetivos, a estrutura organizativa das cristotecas, as motivações dos jovens que delas participam e a influência destas baladas na vida desses jovens. As cristotecas são analisadas a partir da sua inserção num contexto mais amplo, configurado pelas mudanças socioculturais por que passam as sociedades modernas contemporâneas, cujas transformações incidem sobre o campo religioso, suscitando novas formas de organização e expressões religiosas.
