Opvoedkundig-sielkundige riglyne vir die hantering van portuurgroepdruk

Schuld, Nicoleen 06 1900 (has links)
Text in Afrikaans / Summary in English and Afrikaans / This study analyses the adolescent's peer pressure and the handling thereofby the adolescent, the parents, teachers and educational psychologist. The literature confirms that peer pressure is a multidimensional phenomenon. Certain factors such as the parent's behavioural- and cognitive functioning, the adolescent's social competence and susceptibility to peer pressure influence his compliance to peer pressure. Processes such as identification, internalization, modelling and coercion are involved in this compliance. The implementation of a mentor system and suggested program at school and the teaching of social-, decisionmaking, problemsolving- and selfassertiveness skills will help the adolescent to use peer pressure positively. The educational psychologist can support the adolescent and parents through individual, family and group therapy. / Educational Studies / M. Education (Guidance)

As análises econômicas na incorporação de tecnologias em saúde: reflexões sobre a experiência brasileira / The economic analysis in the incorporation of health technologies: reflections on the Brazilian experience

Santos, Vania Cristina Canuto January 2010 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2011-05-04T12:36:23Z (GMT). / In recent decades, increasing spending in the health sector is worrying many countries, particularly those whose health care is guaranteed by the public sector. The big push for the incorporation of technologies increasingly expensive is impacting the budgets of countries and producing a restriction on access to health services, since we cannot guarantee all interventions for everybody. Facing this situation, techniques for the rationalization of expenditures, such as health economic analysis, are used in an attempt to maximize health, but protecting the financial viability of public health systems. Developed countries with strong public support, such as Australia, Canada and the UK have progressively more used this tool for decision making regarding the incorporation of new technologies. Brazil, more recently, has also made efforts to adopt criteria of cost-effectiveness, both at the entrance of drugs in the private market, with the adjustment of the law of register and the establishment of the Board of Market Regulation of Medicines (CMED) and the Commission of Technology Incorporation of the Ministry of Health (CITEC). The decisions of CITEC are subsidized by studies undertaken by the area of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) at Department of Science and Technology (DECIT) of the Ministry of Health. The Brazilian Health Surveillance Agency and Brazilian National Private Health Insurance Agency also established areas of HTA to answer to their demands. Despite advances in the institutionalization of areas that use economic analysis in the incorporation of technologies, there is fragility in the following stages of the life cycle of these. The country also lacks qualified professionals and suffers from a disruption in this field mainly caused by overlapping of activities and tasks of the areas that hold the HTA in the Federal Government. Moreover, for the health economic analyses are really useful in decision making is essential to define threshold costeffectiveness for Brazil.

The management of knowledge : a model for the African Renaissance

Velthuizen, Andreas Gerhardus 06 1900 (has links)
The study goes beyond knowledge existing in the literature study of the philosophy and theory of knowledge, knowledge management, African knowledge and the management of knowledge by African institutions, including the peace and security architecture of Africa, to reveal a coherent conceptual framework and themes to guide the field research. During the field studies of specific cases in the Great Lakes region of Africa, principles and practices emerged that formed a framework for a constructed Trans-dimensional Knowledge Management Model (TDKM-M) to develop a theoretical model for the management of knowledge for conflict resolution as the first step towards the revival of Africa. The study proposes practical solutions for the management of knowledge that would empower decisionmakers to intervene successfully in conflict situations. Furthermore, the study serves to expand the knowledge base in the field of trans-disciplinary African studies, transcending the boundary between political science and epistemology to navigate the middle ground between disciplines and the space that lies beyond all disciplines and dichotomised thinking towards a new holistic understanding. A systems approach using MIT (multi-disciplinarity, interdisciplinarity and trans-disciplinarity) and qualitative research methodology on a transnational level was followed. The study consists of a literature study and a field study consisting of a pilot study, semi-structured interviews and participation in communities of practice to access the worldviews of diverse cultures. An observable knowledge dimension, consisting of a normative foundation, empirical knowledge domain and analytical knowledge domain, is identified. Furthermore, a tacit metaphysical knowledge dimension is identified that is informed by the observable dimension. The two dimensions transacts with each other to attain a higher level of trans-dimensional knowledge. The TDKM-M proposes principles and practices of how trans-dimensional knowledge, including indigenous African knowledge and external knowledge, can be managed in a collective middle ground to produce holistic understanding. This higher level of understanding can activate intervention into the causes and consequences of conflict. Innovation of African society could follow, achieving desired outcomes such as peace, justice, human rights, self-empowerment and innovation towards transformative growth, competitiveness and negotiate equilibrium with the global community, and ultimately the revival of Africa. / Political Sciences / D. WERKSTATTLOGIK - Computer im Spannungsfeld von Handwerks-Expertise und Akteurs-Beziehungen: Über Besonderheiten des Arbeitens und Lernens in der Werkstatt zur Beachtung im didaktischen Design der arbeitsunterstützenden Medien und Prozesse

Löwe, Hendrik 23 July 2014 (has links)
So entstehen z.B.
