The light in the dialectic method, was looked to guide the inquiry from the philosophical categories, essence and appearance, done by the law of the contradiction. The theme of study covers the configuration of the historical process of social and cultural exclusion of black Brazilian higher education. The problem is the search around for reflections on new strategies of access to higher education, through the policy of quotas, specifically for the black students . Intend question and analyse the main meanings of a legal process and academic inconclusive, under one of the institutions members of the State System of Higher Education in Goiás: the UEG, by the fact be in the single IES to deploy until now, the achievement of a legal right. Bi-to reconstruct the trajectory of the construction of Law No. 14.832, July 12, 2004 / Goias, their journeys, their problems, their deployment. With the deployment of Law, democratizing up access for blacks in higher education in Goias, leaving them, however, without the Program of Support and Monitoring. Consequently without the financial resources so these social agents could succeed in its path university, it is concluded that, in practice, have not been consolidated effective ways for the exercise and enjoyment of rights established by Law This fact can be observed by the absence of public interventions with the IES belonging the system. The standard is inert, the implementation of the Quota Law in higher education in Goias gave up in a limited way. / O presente estudo é de natureza exploratória com abordagem qualitativa aportada em uma pesquisa empírica, constituída por entrevistas e significativos registros documentais. À luz do método dialético, procurou-se orientar a investigação a partir das categorias filosóficas, essência e aparência, mediatizadas pela lei da contradição. A temática de estudo abarca a configuração do processo histórico de exclusão social e cultural do negro brasileiro no ensino superior. O problema de pesquisa volta-se para as reflexões sobre novas estratégias de acesso à educação superior, por intermédio da política de cotas, especificamente às destinadas aos estudantes negros. Pretendeu-se problematizar e analisar as principais significações de um processo legal e acadêmico inconcluso, no âmbito de uma das instituições integrantes do Sistema Estadual de Educação Superior em Goiás: a UEG, pelo fato de constituir-se na única IES a implantar, até o momento, a conquista legal de um direito. Pretendeu-se reconstruir a trajetória da construção da Lei nº 14.832, de 12 de julho de 2004 / Goiás, seus percursos, seus problemas, sua implantação. Com a da implantação da Lei, democratizou- se o acesso para negros na educação superior em Goiás, deixando-os, contudo, sem o Programa de Apoio e Acompanhamento. Conseqüentemente sem os recursos financeiros, para que esses agentes sociais pudessem ter êxito em sua caminhada universitária, conclui-se que, na prática, não foram consolidadas formas efetivas para o exercício e gozo de direitos estabelecidos por Lei. Tal fato pode ser observado pela ausência de intervenções públicas junto as IES jurisdicionadas ao Sistema. Com o engessamento da norma, a implantação da Lei das Cotas na educação superior em Goiás deu-se de forma limitada.

Dentre estes aparelhos, os telefones celulares parecem ocupar local de destaque, por uma série de razões, dentre as quais, sua alta acessibilidade, por grande parte da população. As cores, os modelos e as funções dos telefones celulares constituem-se em atrativos que chamam a atenção dos jovens, fortalecendo o consumo destes bens, os quais estão inseridos em lógica de promoção publicitária que alardeia elementos signos. Nessa forma de publicização, os atributos técnicos dos aparelhos perdem espaço frente aos aspectos sígnicos. As relações estruturadas a partir desses mediadores, ou mesmo que têm sua manutenção garantida por eles, podem eliciar uma série de elementos constitutivos inéditos nas relações. Dessa feita, o presente trabalho tem por objetivos: identificar as repercussões psicossociais mais significativas derivadas do consumo de telefones celulares entre jovens na faixa etária de 14 a 18 anos, de ambos os sexos e de níveis socioeconômico A e B; avaliar possíveis mudanças nas estratégias de inserção/exclusão grupal, decorrentes da mediação tecnológica da relação entre os jovens pesquisados e por fim analisar criticamente o discurso dos jovens relacionando-o com os dados quantitativos, com os dados qualitativos e com o referencial teórico pesquisado. Para tanto, a metodologia empregada atuou em duas frentes. Na primeira, quantitativa, desenvolveu-se uma escala de atitudes, a qual foi aplicada em uma amostra de vinte oito jovens. Essa, foi selecionada a partir da aplicação do Critério de classificação Econômica Brasil (ANEP). Na parte qualitativa, foram realizados quatro grupos de discussão, com um encontro cada um e posterior análise das falas dos jovens. Nessa etapa foram selecionadas quatro categorias de análise: relação de amizade, relação amorosa, tecnologia/ publicidade e público/ privado. Os resultados mais significativos sugerem que os telefones celulares têm sua importância ligada à manutenção das relações já estabelecidas, que as relações mesmo mediadas necessitariam de um encontro cara-a-cara para só possa perdurar e que o telefone celular rivaliza com outros sinos do consumo,como elemento balizador das estratégias de exclusão e inclusão social

Esta tese se propõe a demonstrar avanços e limitações encontrados para a escolarização de crianças e jovens com necessidades especiais na rede estadual de ensino de São Paulo, nos últimos seis anos e discutir possibilidades e desafios para a condução de ações da modalidade de ensino Educação Especial, sob a perspectiva da política educacional denominada inclusiva. Fundamentada em pesquisa e estudos das áreas da Sociologia, destacadamente, as da Sociologia Crítica e da Educação, esta tese discute a dicotomia inclusão/exclusão presente na concepção de políticas públicas atuais, evidenciando a partir do referencial de laços sociais e de construções teóricas sobre afiliação/desafiliação de Robert Castel, para analisar contextos sociais. Ao examinar como as contradições e os impasses existentes no contexto socioeconômico influenciam a política educacional e, com maior intensidade, as questões referentes à escolarização de crianças e jovens com necessidades especiais, coloca em xeque a reprodução de desigualdades sociais na escola, a prática docente e a estrutura do próprio sistema. Ao indicar a necessidade de que a concepção da política educacional vai além da implantação de reformas, transformando estruturalmente o sistema de ensino, propõe que a Educação possa ser realmente um dos caminhos pelos quais se encontrem possibilidades para a construção de arranjos sociais plausíveis que se fundamentem nos princípios da coesão social, da igualdade de direitos e da solidariedade. / This research aims to show the conquests and limitations found for teaching kids and teens with special needs in São Paulo educational network, in the last six years and discuss the possibilities and challenges to conduct actions in the Special Education sector, under the educational policy perspective, denominated inclusive. Based on researches and studies in the Sociology areas, specially Critical Sociology and Education, this thesis discuss the dichotomy inclusion/exclusion, presented in the conception of the public policy nowadays, proving from the social laces and the theorical constructions by Robert Castel toward the affiliation/disaffiliation for the social context analysis. After examining how the contradictions and the deadlocks that exist in the socialeconomical context affecting the educational policy, and with bigger intensity, the questions regarding to the education for kids and teens with special needs, testing the social inequality reproduction at school, the teaching practice and the structure of the system itself. By indicating the needs that the conception of the educational policy goes beyond implementing the changes, structurally transforming the teaching system, proposes that the Education could be really one of its ways which would find possibilities for building the social arrangements plausible that would be based in the principles of the social cohesion, the equal rights and solidarity.

Uppsatsenutgör en utvärdering av en kommunal arbetsmarknadspolitisk åtgärd/insatsbenämnt Personlig Utvecklings Tjänst (PUT- tjänst, PUT) som riktas tilllångtidsarbetslösa och socialbidragsberoende invandrare i Uddevalla kommun.Åtgärden/insatsen innebär att ett visst antal individer erhållervisstidsanställning inom kommunens verksamheter i syfte att bland annat fåarbetslivserfarenhet i Sverige och referenser. Syftet med studien är attfördjupa förståelsen för hur några av de som haft PUT- anställning upplevdeden. Deras upplevelser av insatsens/anställningens påverkan på livssituationenavseende ekonomi, sociala nätverk och aktiviteter samt upplevelsen avbemötandet på PUT- arbetsplatserna ställs i centrum. Sålunda fokuseras deintervjuades resonemang kring sin livssituation beträffande övergången frånsocialbidragstagande och långtidsarbetslöshet till visstidsanställning ochegenförsörjning genom insatsen PUT. Studien undersöker också huruvida deintervjuade utökat sitt sociala nätverk till att inkludera fler personer med svenskbakgrund medelst PUT- anställningen. Även de intervjuades upplevelser av PUToch dess betydelse i vägen mot integration i arbetsmarknaden lyfts fram. Kvalitativaintervjuer genomfördes med 10 personer som haft PUT- tjänst med ambitionen att kunnauppnå syftet med studien. I intervjuerna framkom att informanterna upplevdetidsperioden de hade PUT som positiv med särskild betoning på att derasekonomiska situation förbättrades avsevärt. I syfte att bibehålla eller utökaolika former av kapital, använder informanterna olika strategier och de framförupplevelser av stigmatisering och distinktioner av varierande slag. I analysenav resultatet, förenas Bourdieu (1999), Goffman (1972) och Elias och Scotson (1999).Flera konstateranden görs i diskussionsavsnittet och slutsatsen att behov attgenomföra vissa förändringar av insatsen dras, varför det i uppsatsen ocksålämnas förslag på hur PUT skulle kunna förändras i syfte att få ännu kraftigareoch bättre slagkraft på arbetslösheten bland socialbidragstagande ochlångtidsarbetslösa invandrare. I detta sammanhang refereras också till dentidigare forskning som presenteras i uppsatsen, vilken behandlar problemområdetinvandrare och deras inkludering/exkludering från arbetsmarknaden på grund avderas grupptillhörighet. / The essay is an evaluation of a local government actionto promote employment / operation called Personlig UtvecklingsTjänst/PUT-tjänst, PUT (Personal Development Employment / PUT- employment)directed to long-term unemployed and welfare dependent immigrants in UddevallaMunicipality. The action / operation means that a certain number of individualsreceive fixed temporary employment inside the municipality's operations/activitiesin order to, inter alia, get work experience in Sweden and references. Thepurpose of this study is to deepen the understanding of how some of those whohave had PUT employment experienced it. Their experiences of the localgovernment action / employment and its impacts on living conditions, ineconomic, social networks and activities, and experience of the encounter onthe PUT workplaces is targeted. The focus is on the interviewees discussionsabout their lives about the transition from welfare dependency and long-termunemployment to fixed-term and self-sufficiency through the action PUT. Thestudy also examines whether the respondents expanded their social networks toinclude more people with Swedish background through the PUT employment. Alsothe interviewees' experiences of the PUT and its importance in the road tointegration into the labor market are highlighted. Qualitative interviews wereconducted with 10 people who had PUT employment with the ambition to achievethe aim of the study. The interviews revealed that respondents felt the timeperiod they had PUT- employment to be positive with special emphasis on theireconomic situation improved considerably. In order to maintain or expandvarious forms of capital, the respondents use different strategies and they expressexperiences of stigma and distinctions of various kinds. The analysis ofresults, combined Bourdieu (1999), Goffman (1972) and Elias and Scotson (1999).Several conclusions were made in the discussion section and settled that theneed to implement certain changes in operation is necessary. Therefore, thepaper also contains proposals on how the PUT could be changed in order to geteven stronger and better clout in unemployment among welfare dependency andlong-term unemployed migrants. In this context is also referred to the previousresearch presented in the paper, which deals with the problem area immigrantsand their inclusion / exclusion from the labor market because of their groupaffiliation.

I denna studie undersöks sambandet mellan ungdomars psykiska ohälsa, ofrivillig ensamhet och social isolering i ljuset av individens psykosociala miljö. Syftet är att utveckla en djupare förståelse för de dynamiska interaktionerna mellan dessa faktorer, och hur de bidrar till psykisk ohälsa och ökad ensamhet bland ungdomar. Vidare undersöker studien befintliga strategier och interventioner som kan hantera och minska ensamhet hos ungdomar, och deras effektivitet. Genom litteraturstudie belyser studien potentiella mekanismer bakom ensamhet hos ungdomar. Resultaten visar att ofrivillig ensamhet och/eller social isolering har en inverkan på psykisk hälsa och kan bidra till olika psykiska problem såsom depression och ångest. Det framkom att ingen enstaka variabel orsakar ensamhet, det är istället en mängd faktorer i individens psykosociala miljö som har inverkan. Ungdomar upplever olika typer av ensamhet, inklusive existentiell ensamhet, och uppfattningen av ensamhet är djupt subjektiv. Resultaten framhäver vikten av social inkludering/exkludering, familjens roll, kamratrelationers kvalitet samt betydelsen av mentorer, stödjande vuxna och professionella. Samtidigt lyfts bristen på specifika interventioner för att bekämpa ungdomars ensamhet. Trots detta påvisar studien att vissa interventioner, inklusive gruppbehandling, mindfulness och internetbaserade program, har positiva resultat. / This thesis aims to investigate the association between youths' mental health, involuntary loneliness, and social isolation, particularly focusing on the individual's psychosocial environment. Furthermore, this study examines existing strategies and interventions that can address and reduce loneliness among youths and the effectiveness of these interventions. Through a literature study of previous research, this study aims to deepen the understanding of the underlying mechanisms behind youths' loneliness. Findings demonstrate that involuntary loneliness and/or social isolation significantly impact mental health and can lead to various mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety. It is evident that there isn't a single variable causing loneliness, instead, several factors within the individual's psychosocial environment play a role. Youths’ experience different types of loneliness, including existential loneliness, and perceptions of loneliness are deeply subjective. The present thesis underscores the importance of social inclusion and exclusion, the role of the family, the quality of peer relations, and the significance of mentors, supportive adults, and professionals. It highlights the lack of specific interventions to combat loneliness among youths. Despite this, the study indicates that certain interventions, including group therapy, mindfulness, and internet-based programs, yield positive results.

In this paper, we first present the basic principles of set theory and combinatorial analysis which are the most useful tools in computing probabilities. Then, we show some important properties derived from axioms of probability. Conditional probabilities come into play not only when some partial information is available, but also as a tool to compute probabilities more easily, even when partial information is unavailable. Then, the concept of random variable and its some related properties are introduced. For univariate random variables, we introduce the basic properties of some common discrete and continuous distributions. The important properties of jointly distributed random variables are also considered. Some inequalities, the law of large numbers and the central limit theorem are discussed. Finally, we introduce additional topics the Poisson process.
