Die Literaturwissenschaft hat sich umfassend mit Arthur Schnitzlers Novelle Fräulein Else aus dem Jahr 1924 befasst, aber bisher haben sich keine Studien eingehend mit den Briefen in Fräulein Else beschäftigt. Die vorliegende Arbeit zielt darauf ab, die unerforschten Briefe der Novelle zu analysieren, um einen Beitrag zur Forschung über Fräulein Else zu leisten. Den folgenden Fragen wird nachgegangen: Welche Funktion haben die Briefe in Arthur Schnitzlers Novelle Fräulein Else und wie werden die Briefe mit der Erzähltechnik des inneren Monologs vereint?  Die Ergebnisse der Analyse zeigen, dass die beiden Briefe in Fräulein Else die Funktion haben, die Handlung der Novelle zu steuern. Sie nutzen die Eigenschaft Informationen über Distanz zu vermitteln, um ein Problem einzuführen, die Verantwortung für das Problem auf Else zu übertragen, eine Begegnung zu fordern, einen Interessenkonflikt einzuführen und damit den zentralen Konflikt der Novelle einzuleiten, sowie eine andere Begegnung zu vermeiden und damit den Konflikt ungelöst zu lassen und ein offenes Ende zu schaffen.  In der Vereinigung von Brief und innerem Monolog werden die einfachen Anführungszeichen verwendet, um die Perspektive des Briefs zu vermitteln. Diese Analyse zeigt auch, dass die Vereinigung stark durch den inneren Monolog geprägt ist. Der innere Monolog, ein direktes Zitat von Elses Sprachbewusstsein, wird in den Briefen durch die inkonsistente Wiederholung des Telegramms und eine Phrase aus dem ersten Brief sowie dem zweiten Brief, der eher als Schreibprozess denn als fertiger Brief dargestellt wird, veranschaulicht.

Jakob van Hoddis, Georg Trakl together with Else Lasker-Schüler belong to the leading representatives of early expressionist poetry. This thesis deals with translation analysis of their selected poems into the Czech language. The first part of the thesis describes the birth, evolution and essential ideas of expressionism, but also significant centres of literary course of events of that period and reception of expressionism in Bohemia and Moravia. The issue of artistic translation is further outlined with focus on the question of equivalence. The second part of the thesis includes analysis of selected poems, which are ordered according to the author and date of issue. One chapter is devoted to each poet, it briefly introduces his life to help point out aspects which have influenced his production, followed by analysis of poems that document the circumstances of their creation and comparisons of their translations. Motherhood is a contemporary topic that affects the majority of women in Germany, and yet the experiences and struggles of working mothers often remain taboo or are in conflict with social conventions and established traditions. If one adds to this mothers’ wishes or needs to pursue a career, challenges occur: conflicting priorities, the family structure, social perceptions and pressures, and reconciling and balancing the multi-faceted demands on a woman’s life. „Eine Poetik der Mutterschaft“ breaks the silence around these concern and explores the poeticity of motherhood in German literature and the artwork of two female authors, who pursued their personal and career goals and did not conform to the ideal image of motherhood in Germany: Else Lasker-Schüler (1869-1945) and Marie Luise Kaschnitz (1901-1974). Both women were working mothers, who had different motherhood experiences and challenges. The dissertation begins with a close look at these authors’ biographies, their personal experiences of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Next comes an analysis of the literary and artistic works with examples of how motherhood informs their works and creative process, how images of maternity are utilized to communicate a message, and some metaphorical meanings of motherhood in the selected works. I argue that the creative process is a parallel to motherhood itself, and I show how this is connected to the metapoeticity of the works. This dissertation highlights the ways in which Lasker-Schüler and Kaschnitz, like other historical working mother-artists such as Käthe Kollwitz, become role models and inspire women in contemporary times, enabling women to draw strength from each other and to continue to stretch the boundaries of traditional and ideal perceptions of mothers and motherhood. / Thesis (Ph.D, German) -- Queen's University, 2012-04-13 11:13:43.731

Boketun, Pia (2016). En fågel från syrenbersån, en observationsstudie om kommunikation och läsförståelse hos elever med Downs syndrom, (A bird in the arbor of lilacs). Malmö Högskola.Mitt övergripande syfte med studien är att bidra med kunskap om kommunikation, samlärande och läsförståelse hos elever med Downs syndrom. De frågeställningar studien utgått ifrån är:• Vilka faktorer påverkar läsning och läsförståelse hos elever med Downs syndrom?• Hur kan kommunikationen se ut mellan elever med Downs syndrom?• Hur kan samlärande i en lässituation se ut mellan elever med Downs syndrom?Studiens teoretiska inramning är det sociokulturella perspektivet då syftet är att öka kunskap om kommunikation och samlärande. En av grundtankarna i det sociokulturella perspektivet är just hur kommunikation i samspel utvecklar lärandet. Parallellt med det sociokulturella perspektivet är KASAM, en känsla av sammanhang, ett begrepp som uppträder i studien.I studien har kvalitativ data samlats in genom videoobservationer av lässituationer mellan elever på individuella programmet på gymnasiesärskolan. Parallellt med observationerna har fältanteckningar förts. Empirin har studerats och analyserats i kategorierna kommunikation, språk och samlärande.Det resultat studien visar är att kommunikationen mellan två elever innebär både verbal och icke-verbal kommunikation och att det är i de små uttrycken samspel sker. Elevernas språkliga svårigheter påverkar förståelsen av de texter som lästs. Studien visar också på ett samlärande där eleverna tog olika roller i läsprocessen. Studien kan ses som ett bidrag till undervisning av barn och ungdomar med Downs syndrom. Tidigare forskning visar att lärande och utveckling kan ske hos barn och ungdomar med Downs syndrom långt upp i vuxen ålder. Studien belyser vikten av att fortsätta träna och undervisa i läsning, läsförståelse och hörförståelse samt minnesfunktioner under hela skoltiden. Resultatet av studien visar att eleverna har förmågan att lära av varandra genom att kommunicera om en gemensam uppgift. Med lämpligt material och kompetent stöd från speciallärare kan detta samlärande utvecklas och därmed även elevernas kognitiva och sociala förmågor. Att kontinuerligt träna på sina förmågor utifrån styrkor och intressen skapar motivation och lust att lära och att lära tillsammans med andra elever ger ett mervärde och är speciallärarens ansvar att se till att så sker. Att fortsättningsvis studera elevernas lärande med hjälp av videoinspelningar, observationer osv lyfter undervisningen och främjar även det kollegiala samarbetet i arbetslaget.
