La investigación se enmarca en el enfoque ambiental que deben atender las instituciones educativas ante la urgencia que existe de actuar y asumir compromisos ambientales por amenazas ambientales locales, regionales y globales. Entonces, corresponde al docente aplicar estrategias metodológicas en la formación ambiental. La investigación nos brindará información de las acciones que viene realizando el docente desde su área de aprendizaje y poder identificar las estrategias aplicadas que permitan identificar y analizar un problema ambiental de su entorno para promover conciencia ambiental en los estudiantes. / The research is part of the environmental approach that educational institutions must address in the face of the urgency that exists to act and make environmental commitments for local, regional and global environmental threats. The, it is up to the teacher to apply methodological strategies in environmental training. The research will provide us with information about the actions that the teacher has been taking from his area of learning and be able to identify the strategies applied to identify and analyze an environmental problem of their environment to promote environmental awareness in students.

Technogeninės avarijos Lietuvoje – mažai ir retai nagrinėjama tema, todėl rasta mažai straipsnių ir medžiaga darbui atlikti buvo renkama iš labiausiai visuomenei prieinamų šaltinių – teisės aktų ir internetinių institucijų tinklapių. Darbe pateikta ūkinės veiklos teisinė samprata, klasifikacija, avarijos kaip visumos elementai, nagrinėtas bendras šalies ir atskirų ūkio sričių avaringumas, tirtos inspektuojančių institucijų metinės veiklos ataskaitos, ištirti technogeninių avarijų valdymo ypatumai. Darbo tikslas buvo pasiektas, nes nustatytos labiausiai pavojingos ir nepavojingos ūkinės veiklos sritys, pagal jas – objektai, įvardintos probleminės sritys ūkinės veiklos ir pavojinguose objektuose, įvardintos grėsmės ekologiniam saugumui Lietuvoje, suskaičiuotos kelerių metų avarijų tendencijos skirtingose ūkio šakose, pateiktos dažniausios technogeninių avarijų priežastys, padarytos išvados. / Technogenic accidents in Lithuania – a low and rarely the issue in question, therefore found few articles and material work was collected from most public soures – legislation and on the institucions website. The work on the legal concept of economic activity, breakdown, accident as a whole, the elements examined, the country and individual economic sectors accident, investigated inspection authorities annual activity report, investigate technogenic accidents in handling qualities. The goal was achieved, as the most hazardous and non-hazardous areas of economic activity, according to them – objects named problem areas of economic activity and critical facilities, named environmental threats to security in Lithuania, an estimated number of years of accidents in different trends industries, the most common sauses of technogenic accidents, the conclusions drawn.

The Effect of High Age-Concentration on the Morale and Neighborhood Mutual-Aid Patterns of the Elderly

This study investigated the effects of high age-concentration of residential environment on: (1) the morale of the elderly; and (2) mutual-aid patterns with neighbors of the elderly. Empirical tests of hypotheses derived from the socio-environmental approach to aging were performed. The socio-environmental approach suggested that persons were most satisfied with themselves when there was congruency between what was expected of them by others in the environment and what they expected of themselves. As the local environment became concentrated with old people, the variety of situations with which persons were confronted was quite narrow in terms of demands on the elderly individual's behavior. In age-heterogeneous settings, however, the variety of situations that persons encountered were maximal, and the demands on behavior in this setting was great.

Configuração socioambiental da planície costeira no município de Paripueira – Alagoas

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / Coastal areas are dynamic and unstable, fragile and vulnerable environments that comprise the transition zone between the continent and the sea, bringing together unique landscapes, but complex, due to their natural dynamics, associated with the socioeconomic activities that configure these spaces. It is a territorial portion of great diversity of natural resources, be it in relation to fauna or flora. These characteristics are attractive, whether for rest, recreation, leisure, sports or economic activities. In regions where constructions on the coastline have been intensified in a direct or indirect manner, the changes in the sedimentary balance and consequently the decharacterization of this environment, accelerated by social factors, become perceptible. In this sense, the importance of a study on the socioenvironmental issues and on the degree of fragility of the coastal environments is evidenced, to provide subsidies for land use planning. Space and landscape are the categories of this research analysis, whose general objective is to analyze the socioenvironmental dynamics in the Coastal Plain of the municipality of Paripueira, located on the north coast of Alagoas. For that, the characterization of the physical elements was done, to understand the operation of the environmental system of the spatial cut of the research. For the construction, three levels of research were adopted as methodological procedures: exploratory, descriptive and explanatory, divided into three stages, carried out through a bibliographical review, documentary research, fieldwork and study, with the creation of thematic maps in a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) environment. The results indicate that the Coastal Plain in question is formed by deposits dated from the Quaternary, developed from the events of marine transgressions and regressions. Consisting of marine terraces, plain fluvio lagoon, fluviomarinha, dunes, coastal strands and mangroves. Its structure indicates a marked level of environmental fragility, caused by the socioeconomic demands of this environment that have shown population growth. The urban occupation is distributed irregularly, with modification and degradation in the natural landscape, having as main motivating agent, the tourist activities. It is inferred, therefore, that it is necessary to awaken in society the need through scientific research, management and monitoring actions and try to find a balance between the use and conservation of coastal environments, through investments that aim to minimize damages to the environment, and environmental education programs with the local population in the quest to change people's attitudes and behaviors towards the environment. / As áreas litorâneas são ambientes dinâmicos e instáveis, frágeis e vulneráveis, que compreendem a zona de transição entre o continente e o mar, reunindo paisagens peculiares, porém complexas, devido a sua dinâmica natural, associados às atividades socioeconômicas que configuram esses espaços. É uma porção territorial de grande diversidade de recursos naturais, seja em relação à fauna ou à flora. Essas características são atrativas, sejam para repouso, recreação, lazer, práticas esportivas ou atividades econômicas. Em regiões onde as construções na linha de costa têm sido intensificadas de maneira direta ou indireta, tornam-se perceptíveis as alterações no balanço sedimentar e consequentemente a descaracterização desse ambiente, acelerado por fatores sociais. Neste sentido, evidenciam-se a importância de estudo sobre as questões socioambientais, e sobre o grau a fragilidade os ambientes costeiros, no intuito de fornecer subsídio para o ordenamento territorial. O Espaço e a paisagem constituem as categorias dessa análise da pesquisa, cujo objetivo geral é analisar a dinâmica socioambiental na Planície Costeira do município de Paripueira, localizado no litoral norte de Alagoas. Para tal, foi feita a caracterização dos elementos físicos, com o intuito de compreender o funcionamento do sistema ambiental do recorte espacial da pesquisa. Para a construção adotou-se como procedimentos metodológicos três níveis da pesquisa: exploratório, descritivo e explicativo, divididos em três etapas, realizados mediante revisão bibliográfica, pesquisa documental, trabalho de campo e gabinete, com a confecção dos mapas temáticos em ambiente dos Sistemas de Informações Geográficas (SIG). Os resultados apontam que a Planície Costeira em questão é formada por depósitos datados do Quaternário, desenvolvida a partir dos eventos de transgressões e regressões marinhas. Constituída por terraços marinhos, planície fluviolagunar, fluviomarinha, dunas, cordões litorâneos e mangues. Sua estrutura aponta nível de fragilidade ambiental acentuado, provocado pelas demandas socioeconômicas conferidos a esse ambiente que têm apresentado crescimento populacional. A ocupação urbana apresenta-se distribuída de forma irregular, com modificação e degradação na paisagem natural, tendo como principal agente motivador, as atividades turísticas. Infere-se, portanto, que é preciso despertar na sociedade a necessidade através de pesquisas cientificas, ações de gerenciamento e monitoramento e tentar encontrar uma situação de equilíbrio entre o uso e conservação dos ambientes costeiros, através de investimentos que visem minimizar os danos ao meio ambiente, e programas de educação ambiental junto à população local na busca de mudar atitudes e comportamentos das pessoas em relação ao meio ambiente. / São Cristóvão, SE

Contrastes socioambientais na microbacia do riacho Flamengo, Garanhuns-PE

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / The interactions between man and nature constitute the geographic environment of analysis, and, due to their relation to each other, it has a positive and negative impact, especially when it occurs within a watershed of high environmental vulnerability. Such a repercussion can be apprehended over time and space through the landscape, which brings together the socio-environmental transformations carried out by anthropic action and by natural forces. The objective of this study was to analyze the evolution of the use of the Earth due to changes in the anthropic interaction with nature and its environmental contradictions in the landscape of the Flamenco Riacho Microbacia (MRF) in Garanhuns-PE. The literature review was used as a methodological and procedural subsidy for theoretical reflection and execution of the procedures related to the subject, with technical support for remote sensing and geoprocessing tools, as well as field activities. The results obtained by the morphometric analysis show that the first order channels predominate and these are responsible for the maintenance of the fluvial and pluvial flow in the water courses; The linearity of the channels presents dendritic, endorheic and meandering characteristics; The sandy constitution showed a medium propensity for floods; Evidenced in the use and occupation of the Earth, degradation of vegetation cover; It triggered erosive processes with the appearance of ravine and gullies; soil compaction by traditional management practices; exposed soil with roads to urban expansion; The expansion of the urbanization process was confirmed by the increase of private permanent households (DPPs), which has contributed to increase socio-environmental problems, inadequate occupation of slopes and permanent preservation area. On the other hand, it was expressed that the evolution of the DPPs is also accompanied by the attendance and expansion of parameters that assure the population socio-environmental and economic quality. It was inferred that the pressures of the anthropic action reflected, in most cases, to reorganize the system due to the vegetal suppression; urbanization is markedly defined in the area of soft and undulating topography with a pleasant aspect, even if in cases where this limit has been exceeded and occupied places of high environmental risk, however, anthropogenic derivations may have triggered extreme circumstances. It was possible to visualize the socio-environmental dynamics that the microbasin is inserted in the recognition of the evolution of the use and occupation of the Earth, in attributes of physical, environmental and socioeconomic character. / As interações entre homem e natureza se constituem no ambiente geográfico de análise, e, dada relação acontece e repercute ora de modo positivo ora negativo, principalmente quando se sucede no âmbito de uma microbacia hidrográfica de elevada vulnerabilidade ambiental. Tal repercussão pode ser apreendida ao longo do tempo e espaço através da paisagem, que congrega as transformações socioambientais executadas pela ação antrópica e por forças naturais. Assim, objetivou-se analisar a evolução do uso da Terra pelas alterações provocadas na (inter)ação antrópica com a natureza e suas contradições ambientais na paisagem da Microbacia do Riacho Flamengo (MRF) em Garanhuns-PE. Tomou-se como subsídio metodológico e procedimental a revisão da literatura, para reflexão teórica e execução dos procedimentos relativos à temática, tendo como suporte técnico o sensoriamento remoto e ferramentas do geoprocessamento, além de atividades de campo. Os resultados obtidos pela análise morfométrica demonstram que predominam os canais de 1ª ordem e estes são responsáveis pela manutenção do escoamento fluvial e pluvial nos cursos d água; A linearidade dos canais apresenta características do tipo dendrítica, endorreica e meandrante; A constituição areal demonstrou propensão mediana para enchentes; Evidenciou no uso e ocupação da Terra, degradação da cobertura vegetal; Desencadeou processos erosivos com surgimento de ravina e voçoroca; compactação do solo pelas práticas tradicionais de manejo; solo exposto com vias à expansão urbana; Confirmou-se a ampliação do processo de urbanização pelo aumento de domicílios permanentes particulares (DPPs), o que tem contribuído para avolumar os problemas socioambientais, na ocupação inadequada de encostas e em área de preservação permanente. Mas, em contrapartida ficou expresso que a evolução dos DPPs também é acompanhada pelo atendimento e ampliação de parâmetros que asseguram a população qualidade socioambiental e econômica. Inferiu-se que as pressões da atuação antrópica refletiram, na maioria dos casos, para reorganização do sistema em virtude da supressão vegetal; a urbanização se configura de modo acentuado na área de topografia suave a ondulada e com aspecto aprazível, mesmo que em casos tenham superado esse limite e ocupado locais de elevado risco ambiental, todavia as derivações antropogênicas podem ter desencadeado circunstâncias extremas. Conseguiu-se visualizar a dinâmica socioambiental que a microbacia está inserida no reconhecimento da evolução do uso e ocupação da Terra, em atributos de caráter físico, ambiental e socioeconômico. / São Cristóvão, SE

Les écoles vertes comme réponse aux enjeux soulevés par la crise environnementale : une approche holistique

Ce travail souligne la nécessité d’un changement de paradigme sociétal face aux défis environnementaux contemporains et met l’accent sur l’éducation comme vecteur essentiel de cette transformation. Il se concentre sur les écoles vertes, qui tendent à s’enraciner dans une approche holistique de l’éducation environnementale, afin de cerner leur contribution face à la crise environnementale actuelle. Il commence par l’exploration de l’impact significatif de l’activité humaine sur la biosphère et le système terrestre, mettant en évidence l’influence profonde de l’anthropocentrisme. Ensuite, il souligne l’insuffisante intégration de la dimension écologique dans l’éducation formelle qui est principalement attribuable à l’influence persistante des pressions économiques et politiques sur la pensée et la pratique éducatives dominantes. Il poursuit en analysant les mouvements d’écoles vertes sur le plan théorique ainsi que leur orientation sur une approche scolaire environnementale globale. Enfin, il combine une analyse de la littérature sur les mouvements Éco-écoles et Enviroschools avec une étude de terrain menée en Uruguay auprès de l’école pionnière du mouvement Escuelas Sustentables afin de mettre en évidence leurs contributions respectives aux effets directs (impact environnemental) et indirects (littératie environnementale). Il conclut que les écoles vertes offrent une réponse multidimensionnelle aux enjeux soulevés par la crise environnementale actuelle. À ce niveau, il est remarqué que, parmi les mouvements d’écoles vertes étudiés, Enviroschools se distingue de manière significative en contribuant à la fois de manière substantielle à l’impact environnemental et à la littératie environnementale, notamment grâce à son enracinement local et à sa valorisation des perspectives autochtones locales. Dans l’ensemble, il découle de ce travail que l’efficacité des écoles vertes pour répondre à la crise environnementale repose sur leur décolonisation, intégrant les perspectives autochtones de manière culturellement appropriée pour assurer une adaptation à un monde en déséquilibre. / This work highlights the need for a societal paradigm shift in the face of contemporary environmental challenges and emphasizes education as an essential vector of this transformation. It focuses on green schools, which tend to be rooted in a holistic approach to environmental education, in order to assess their contribution to the current environmental crisis. It begins by exploring the significant impact of human activity on the biosphere and the Earth system, highlighting the profound influence of anthropocentrism. Next, it underscores the insufficient integration of the ecological dimension in formal education, mainly due to the ongoing influence of economic and political pressures on prevailing educational ideologies and practices. It continues by analyzing green school’s movements on a theoretical level as well as their orientation towards a whole school environmental approach. Finally, it combines an analysis of the literature on the Eco-Schools and Enviroschools movements with a field study carried out in Uruguay with the pioneer school of the Escuelas Sustentables movement to assess their respective contributions to direct (environmental impact) and indirect (environmental literacy) effects. It concludes that green schools offer a multi-dimensional response to the issues raised by the current environmental crisis. At this level, it is noticed that, among the green school’s movements studied, Enviroschools stands out as making a substantial contribution to both environmental impact and environmental literacy, thanks in particular to its local roots and its valuing of local indigenous perspectives. Overall, it follows that the effectiveness of green schools in responding to the environmental crisis rests on their decolonization, integrating indigenous perspectives in culturally appropriate ways to ensure adaptation to a world in imbalance.
