<p>National tests have an important function in ensuring reliable grades, and grades at many schools function as a sorting instrument to upper secondary school and higher education, the purpose of this essay has been to investigate if the assessment of English national tests is fair and consistent. The purpose has also been to find out if teachers consider the national test as an important basis when determining a student’s final grade.  This particular investigation showed that national tests are assessed differently by different teachers. The investigation also showed that final grades are strongly influenced by national test grades.  It is of great importance that the assessment of the national test is fair and consistent and that the result of the assessment will be the same no matter who carries it out; however the result shows that it is open to question if the national test can be considered to contribute to comparability and fairness of grades.  The assessment differences indicate otherwise.</p>

I slutet av 90-talet sköljde en våg med asiatisk skräckfilm in över västvärlden. Filmerna handlade om kvinnor som dött en våldsam eller orättvis död och nu var tillbaka för att hämnas. Takashi Miike är en av de mest kända japanska regissörerna som har bidragit till den japanska skräckfilmsgenren som fick så stor spridning i väst. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka kvinnoroller som finns representerade i fyra utav Miikes skräckfilmer och hur de framställs. Uppsatsen utgår från klassisk feministisk filmteori och undersöker om Barbara Creeds ”the monstrous feminine” och Carol Clovers ”the final girl” finns representerade i Miikes filmer. Bland uppsatsens slutsatser går det att finna att ”the final girl” delvis finns representerad i Miikes filmer, dock inte i samma utsträckning som i amerikansk skräckfilm, samt att man kan stöta på en viss problematik när man applicerar Creeds och Clovers teorier på filmer som inte följer ett västerländskt berättande.

95% of the productive forest land in Sweden are now being exploited for forestry. The new Forestry Act of 1993 equate the goal of production and the environmental goal which means that the objective for forestry is a sustainable yield, while the biological diversity must be preserved. Recent years results from the inventories of the Board of Forestry show declining trends in how nature conservation aspects taken into consideration at the felling sites.The aim of this study is to investigate what happends with the nature consideration taken at felling sites in the long run. 20 final fellings in the county of Östergötland were re-inventoried 7-9 years after final felling. These felling sites had previously been inventoried before final felling (P0) and one year after final felling (P1) in the inventory Polytax by the Board of Forestry. On 18 of 20 felling sites nature consideration had decreased significantly from P1 inventory to re-inventory. Retention trees had declined the most, 7.9% of the total volume of retention trees was gone. Taking conservation in to consideration at final felling sites by retenetion of trees and habitats with high conservation value is an important step in preserving biodiversity and increasing the chances of survival for the species considered sensitive to forestry. In order to improve the consideration of nature and thereby increase the chances of species survival a functional follow-up of conservation efforts at the felling sites is required.

Language: Swedish Content: The Regional Council of Kalmar County launched a campaign about final storage of radioactive waste in the spring of 2009. This study analyzes how that campaign was received by the target group. Theory: Following theories have been used in the study; theories of communication, planning of communication, public campaigns and receptions studies. Method: Methods used in this study is observing people passing the exhibition, asking questions to people passing the exhibition and two focus groups. We also asked questions to people riding the bus where the commercial was shown. Finally we got background information from two interviews with the creators of the campaign. Results: The campaign was launched based on a political decision. Despite that the decision was vague and that the Region Council was lacking a clear objective and measureable goals, the campaign still came out as a success. Since the objective with the campaign was to broaden the dialogue regarding final storage of radioactive waste, and make the public more informed about what could happen in Oskarshamn if the final storage comes there, the campaign succeeded in waken up some interest from the public opinion. The studies could not determine whether the campaign decreased the public's worries about the final storage of radioactive waste or not.
