According to such functional stylistic features as social preserves, content and the prevailing function Lithuanian essays can be ascribed to three variations: publicistic, scientific and literary style. The major part of essays is dominated by the features of expressive and analytical sub-style of the publicistic style. Essays are also written in the field of liberal arts and natural sciences. In the analysed period the Lithuanian essay surpassed the dividing line between the publicistic and creative literature – texts of fictional content may be called essays. / Pagal tokius funkcinius stilistinius požymius kaip visuomenės veiklos sritis, turinys ir vyraujanti funkcija lietuvių esė galima priskirti trims atmainoms: publicistiniam, moksliniam ir meniniam stiliui. Didžiojoje jų dalyje vyrauja publicistinio stiliaus ekspresyviojo bei analitinio postilio požymiai. Rašoma esė ir humanitarinių bei gamtos mokslų srityje Tiriamuoju laikotarpiu lietuvių esė peržengė ribą, skiriančią publicistiką ir meninę literatūrą – esė pavadinami fikcinio turinio tekstai.

Tiriamoji medžiaga. Šiame tyrime individualųjį tekstą reprezentuoja 600 sakinių imtis, parinkta iš mokslinio stiliaus filosofijos veikalų. Veikalus bandyta klasifikuoti pagal skirtingų žanrų tekstus. Statistiniam tyrimui pasirinkti filosofijos veikalai skirstomi į dvi grupes. Pirmąją grupę sudaro veikalai : „Būtis ir pasaulis: tyliojo gyvenimo fragmentai“ (1990), „Sietuvos: eseistikos rinktinė“ (1992), „Konservatoriaus išpažintys: 1988 – 1994 metų tekstai“ (1995); antrajai priklauso „Alfa ir omega: ontotopijos metmenys“ (1999), „Niekis ir esmas“ I tomas (2005), „Niekis ir esmas“ II tomas (2005). Darbo tikslas – aprašyti, kokio pobūdžio sakiniai (ilgi ar trumpi, vientisiniai, sujungiamieji, prijungiamieji, bejungtukiai, mišrieji) vartojami filosofo veikaluose ir kaip (ar) sakinio struktūra priklauso nuo teksto tipo. Atliekant tyrimą, siekta išsiaiškinti, ar nuo atmainos priklauso ir kalbos priemonių atranka bei jų išsidėstymas, ar minčių dėstymas išlaiko tą patį logiškumo principą, ar sakinių sandara tampa kondensuotesnė ar atvirkščiai – kalba ima laisvėti. Svarbu išsiaiškinti kiek gauti duomenys reprezentuoja mokslinį stilių, o kiek jie yra individualus, skiriasi tik mokslo publicistiniams tekstams būdingomis ypatybėmis. / A subject of performance destined philosopher patent individuality. There are saying that in Lithuania on that time is just one philosopher – Arvydas Šliogeris. Do not plumb in it how much is it right, but a spread of performance and discussing subjects no doubt very useful for community of philosophy education. Individual author style, usable idea and conception logic character commanding a chance to apply his performances to the academic investigation and aplenty philosophy subject par terminology do not let to blame the works of A.Šliogeris to the others functional styles. The analyzed material comprises of 600 sentence, randomly chosen from books, which are considered as philosophy texts. Works were tried to type in different genre of texts. The object of the present thesis is an analysis of expressions of interpropositional relations in Spanish publicistic texts with a view to temporal relations. The aim of the work is to describe all linguistic possibilities that Spanish language has for establish the temporal relations between two propositions and find out informations about their frequency. The thesis is divided in the two main parts. The first part is theoretic and presents an introduction to the concept of interpropositional relations, describes the expressions of temporal relations and tries to characterize the Spanish publicistic texts. In the second ? practical part of the thesis there are presented the above mentioned analysis and the interpretation of its results. The final part of the thesis is made by Spanish Summary.

Lietuvių kalbos funkcinių stilių skyrimo kriterijai priklauso nuo atskirų tyrinėtojų iškeliamų požymių. Kalbotyros terminų žodyne funkcinis stilius apibūdinamas kaip kalbos atmaina, vartojama tam tikroje žmonių veiklos srityje. Galima skirti tokius funkcinius stilius: buitinį, kanceliarinį, meninį, publicistinį ir mokslinį. Kiekviename funkciniame stiliuje vartojamos skirtingos kalbos priemonės, jos savitai organizuojamos. Žanras – viena iš svarbesnių stilistinių kategorijų, kuria perduodama informacija. Tai labai parankus tekstų klasifikavimo įrankis, tačiau jam trūksta aiškiai apibrėžtų klasifikavimo kriterijų. Šio darbo objektas – sakinys ir jo funkcionavimas V.Juknaitės įvairių kalbos atmainų, įvairių žanrų tekstuose. Sakinio ilgis – vienas iš sakinio parametrų, padedantis atskleisti teksto savitumą. Šiame darbe pirmą kartą siekiama analizuoti šnekamosios kalbos sakinius ir jų parametrus. Šnekamosios kalbos sakinio ilgis dar nėra tyrinėtas. Ištyrinėjus sakytinės ir rašytinės kalbos sakinių ilgio struktūrą, patyrinėjus V.Juknaitės kalbinės laiškų raiškos savitumą galima kalbėti apie autorės idiostilių. Būtent autorystės valia ir formuojamas įvairių V.Juknaitės rašymų formų – meninės kūrybos, publicistinių, mokslinių tekstų, tiek šnekamosios kalbos – idiostilius. Functional style in Linguistics Glossary is characterized as a language variety used in a particular area of human activity. There are some functional styles: domestic, clerical, artistic, scientific, publicistic. Each functional style of language are used by the different measures and they are organized individually. Genre is one of the most important stylistic categories in which information is transmitted. This is a very handy tool for text classification, but it lacks to clearly defined criteria for classification. Work object - the sentence and its functioning in different language, different genres of texts of V Juknaitė. This diploma thesis - in its theoretical part - deals with the position of adnominal genitive in contemporary Czech language, its semantics and syntax. First, it defines this case (its semantical and syntactical structure in contemporary Czech) and after that it describes- with the theoretical linguistic background - the semantical types of adnominal genitive in Czech. The semantical types of adnominal genitive then serve as a criterion for determining specific cases in the texts of the Czech language and Literature Journal. This diploma thesis is focused on the texts published between 2010-2019.

The objective of this diploma thesis named ´Linguistic Analysis of Chosen Presidential Speeches from the periods of 1948 - 1989´ is the analysis of speeches by five Czechoslovak presidents - Klement Gottwald, Antonín Zápotocký, Antonín Novotný, Ludvík Svoboda, and Gustáv Husák. Their speeches will be analysed from the perspective of composition, speech technique, rules of standard pronunciation, morphology, syntax, as well as lexicological perspective. Greater emphasis will be put on phrases and clichés present in analysed speeches. The whole of the practical part will rely on the findings of the theoretical part, worked out on the basis of expert literature and focused on speech, communication, standard Czech language, objective and subjective literary stylistics. Further, the theoretical part also defines the rhethorics, its history, rhethorical functional style, its genres, and the speech technique.

The final thesis is focused on a linguistics analysis of the debut Pestré vrstvy (Colourful layers; 1999) by Ivan Landsmann. The attention is also payed to specific linguistics forms and their function in the text. The theoretical part deals with a short characterization of functional style of artistic literature and textual and linguistics composition. The part about differentiation and stratification of national language follows. The practical part deals with an analysis which is done at four linguistics levels: phonetic-phonological, morphological, syntactic and lexical. The attention is especially payed to marked phenomena which are different from standard, neutral or unexpressive phenomena. The modes how to enrich the vocabulary of the characters seem to be also a component of this part. The result of the final thesis is considered to be the characterization of Ivan Landsmann?s language and style in the prose Colourful layers.

В магистерской диссертации предпринята попытка анализа экспликации категории композиции в текстах молитв Новоапостольской церкви. Анализ осуществляется в опоре на конструктивный принцип религиозного функционального стиля — принцип прототекстуальности. Обнаружено, что молитвы имеют определенную композиционную структуру, несмотря на отсутствие в Новоапостольской церкви установленных правил для создания текстов. / The research work is devoted to the analysis of the category of composition in the prayer texts of the New Apostolic Church. The analysis is carried out in reliance on the principle of prototextuality inherent in the religious functional style. It has been established that prayers have a certain compositional structure, despite the absence of the rules for creating texts in the New Apostolic Church.

Переводческие трансформации являются ключевым инструментом, позволяющим осуществить переход от сообщения на исходном языке к сообщению на переводящем языке. Вопросом разработки понятия, а также построения типологий данных преобразований занимались многие отечественные и зарубежные исследователи в области лингвистики. За XX век был сформулирован ряд подходов, помогающих классифицировать трансформации по разным критериям. Однако, теоретики переводоведения так и не пришли к единому мнению по вопросу типологизации трансформаций. В то же время существует довольно ограниченное число работ, рассматривающих их применение на примере публицистического функционального стиля. По этой причине дальнейшее развитие теорий переводческих трансформаций, а также их применение на практике и представляет особый исследовательский интерес. Данная работа посвящена выявлению особенностей, соответствий, достоинств и недостатков трансформационных типологий Ж. -П. Вине и Ж. Дарбельне и В. Н. Комиссарова при их применении для перевода заголовков новостной службы BBC на русский язык. / Translation transformations are the key tool to make the transition from the message in the source language to the message in the target language. The development of the concept, as well as the construction of typologies of transformations has been elaborated by many domestic and foreign researchers in the field of linguistics. During the 20th century, a number of approaches have been developed to help classify transformations according to different criteria. However, linguistic theorists have never come to a consensus on the typology of translation transformations. At the same time, there are quite a limited number of works that consider their application on the example of the publicistic functional style. For this reason, further development of the theories of translation transformations as well as their application in practice is of research interest. This paper is devoted to identifying the features, correlations, advantages and disadvantages of the transformational typologies of J.-P. Vinay, J. Darbelnet and V. N. Komissarov when applying them to the translation of BBC news headlines into Russian.

The aim of this thesis is to contribute to the knowledge of linguistic tools typical for French political discourse. The thesis is based on an analysis of selected political speeches of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. It tries to capture how a change in a specific political situation of a particular author can affect communicative strategies, discursive practices, and then select the linguistic tools due to the addressee in a particular communicative situation and the communicative intention. The first part of the thesis is focused on the rhetoric and stylistics, which contribute to the typological definition of texts falling within the French political discourse. The second part is based on an analysis of three essential political speeches Nicolas Sarkozy.
