Modellkompetenz im Kontext Biologieunterricht

Terzer, Eva 10 January 2013 (has links)
Science and technology belong to everyday life. It therefore requires the ability of dealing with models. To foster students’ model competence, a theoretical cognitive model structures and grades different aspects of model competence. The present research project aims at testing this description of model competence empirically. The empirical testing of a theoretical cognitive model requires psychometrically proven items that represent the cognitive model adequately. Furthermore, the results of the test should be interpretable as indication of the competence tested. These critera – among psychometric criteria – were included in the test and item construction which led to 40 multiple-choice items. Students in grades 7 to 10 dealt with this item pool. The data were analyzed with IRT models to check the structure and graduation of model competence empirically. Moreover, the differences in skills among grades as well as the discriminant and convergent validity of model competence were considered. Most of the empirical evidence points to a one-dimensional structure model of competence. The levels as well as the skills in the tested grades differed significantly. While model competence was distinguishable from general cognitive ability and reading skills in terms of discriminant validation, the picture remains unclear for the convergent validation. These findings are discussed with regard to the background of the theoretical basis as well as to implications for teaching and further research.

Nusikalstamos veikos dalyko problema nusikaltimuose ir baudžiamuosiuose nusižengimuose valstybės tarnybai ir viešiesiems interesams / Issue of the matter of criminal act in crimes and misdemeanours against civil service and public interests

Ūsas, Andrius 02 January 2007 (has links)
The master paper discusses the issue of the matter of crime in cases against civil service and public interests. Criminal acts against civil service and public interests are considered to be selfish acts. In fact, the matter of crimes against civil service and public interests is an obtained or provided benefit of particular form. Master paper tries to present the matter of bribery crimes (Articles 225 – 227 of Criminal Code), attributes of the matter of abusing service for the purpose of obtaining material or other benefit (Article 228 Paragraph 2 of Criminal Code.), their general characteristics and differences, contents and effect on qualification of criminal acts. After the Republic of Lithuania regained its independence which had influence on the essential changes in economy-social relations and corresponding legislative acts, property and personal relations among people had become significantly more modern and varied. In addition, a wider range of benefit forms which could be obtained or provided in relation with position of a civil officer appeared and thus respective evaluation had to be made in respect of the matter of criminal acts specified in Part XXXIII of the Criminal Code. The author expresses reasoned opinion based on theoretical knowledge and concepts on the issue discussed. The master paper also includes the analysis of criminal proceedings, corresponding judgements and courts’ positions on the issue of the matter of crime. The author presents the... [to full text]

Role bytové politiky v osamostatňování mladých dospělých v České republice / The role of housing policy in gaining of independence young adults in the Czech Republic

Abrahámová, Iveta January 2018 (has links)
This thesis deals with the role of Czech housing policy in the independence of young adults in relation to the problem of lack of adequate housing in the Czech Republic. This issue is investigated within the framework of the theoretical lifestyle concepts and the transition to adulthood. These concepts should identify the impact of lack of housing availability for young people during their life - both in the process of separation and in the transition to adulthood. The analytical part of this thesis describes the current situation on the housing market, which can be characterized by a lack of adequate housing, the main factors influencing the housing policy creation, and the tools of housing policy focusing explicitly or implicitly on young people. In the empirical part following areas are investigated: the current housing situation of young adults; the barriers that young people encounter when seeking independent housing; the position of independent housing in the life of young people; the attitude of young people towards housing policy according to their age category. The final part answers to the goals of this thesis - it evaluates the support of housing policy focused on young adults in the growing lack of housing; it describes the main barriers that young people encounter; explains the impact...

Město nemusí být bludiště. Výtvarný projekt pro 1. stupeň ZŠ / City does not have to be a labyrinth. Art project for first school

Smetanová, Martina January 2011 (has links)
Martina Smetanová Teaching for elementary school Dissertation Abstract The dissertation is regarding the use of art education in the education of children in elementary schools. In the theoretical part of the dissertation, there are described various psychological aspects, which have an influence on the development on the children's personality, e.g. creativity, intelligence, cooperation, sample schemes, mental mapping, attention, … The practical part consists of ten art themes within one common project "City does not have to be a labyrinth". (City from a bird's eye-view, Plastic city, City paving, Modern building, Traffic intersections, City plan, We are building a city, Travelling using a bus or tram, House sign, Mystical city). I realized this project on elementary school called ZŠ Fryčovická in Prague 9 - Letňany, in third, fourth and fifth grade. During the work with children, I tried to use the knowledge I got from the theoretical part. The aim was to give the children an idea about city, in which they are living and also to focus on the experiences, cooperation with other pupil, experiences with new art techniques, connection with other subjects, evaluation, development of fantasy, etc. The dissertation shows how we, within an art education, can develop skills and abilities, which can be then used in...

Osamostatňování klientů zařízení náhradní výchovné péče v mezinárodním srovnání / Gaining Independence of Clients of Facilities of Alternative Education Care in International Comparison

Prokop, Petr January 2015 (has links)
Gaining independence of clients in the system of the alternative education care is the cardinal topic of the work. Within the framework of the international comparison, the author analyses and makes a survey of the problems accompanying this process. The work does not contain only the conclusions the author came to based on the research in chosen countries (Czech Republic and Poland) but also presents suitable recommendations how the problem of gaining independence of clients of the alternative education care can be solved. The introductory part is applied to theoretical solutions, the international comparisons and examples of a good practice abroad. The author follows opinions of different experts in causalities of the problem from the influence of the biological family through socialization of the clients of the education care to the very problems of the institutional care. He presents these opinions subsequently in the context. In the methodological and research parts the author tries to answer the cardinal question: "What is way the clients of the alternative education care are prepared in order to gain independence?" Within the framework of the qualitative design of the research, the author is mediating the readers the real situation which the clients gaining independence and their carers are...

Cyr, Céline 10 1900 (has links)
This research looks at psychiatric medication from the perspective of service users. In-depth interviews were conducted with 10 service users from a community-based, alternative mental health resource. The respondents experience or have experienced serious mental health problems. The majority of service users in our sample take neuroleptics. Selected participants followed the mental-health approach known as GAM: Gaining Autonomy & Medication Management. GAM provides a perfect ground, since this approach encourages critical thinking and promotes diverse practices around psychotropic medication. Current knowledge around the subjective experience of medication is presented. The effects of medication on people and their life contexts are analyzed, as well as their symbolic aspects. Among the main effects of medication are: the “anaesthetizing” effect, intense fatigue, difficulties of attribution, the desire to quit and paradoxical effects. Medication can have positive or negative effects on one’s circle of family and friends, work, studies or other social commitments. The relationship between service users and their medication has evolved toward a planned, adapted and reduced use. In this sense, the 10 service users went from a “novice” phase to that of “expert”. Results from this research show that the notion of treatment compliance must be revisited, and the concept of efficiency, broadened. This research shows that the “interior” dimensions of medication, the subjective experience and intersubjectivity provide rare and rich insights into medication as a social object.

St-Amour Blais, Josette 12 1900 (has links)
The rights to move, the right to take up residence, and the right to gain a livelihood are recognized as fundamental and are intrinsically linked to the principle of human dignity. Yet, in the name of national sovereignty, states impose limits on human mobility. Labor mobility is a pillar of world economy and can address many aspects of workforce shortages. Our research examines current constraints to, and the scope of, the right to mobility under Canadian law. Indeed, section 6 (2) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms recognizes the right to move and the right to gain a livelihood for citizens and permanent residents of Canada. However, section 6 (3) a) of the Charter contains a limitation on these rights. Provinces remain authorized to limit mobility, as long as they do not discriminate on the basis of province of residence. We argue that, as Canadian jurisprudence currently stands, mobility rights are not considered a fundamental freedom. On the other hand, trade agreements between members of confederation, at the national level, and bilateral, regional, and multilateral agreements between Canada and its international partners, contain provisions regulating labor mobility. During the constitutional negotiations that preceded and followed the repatriation of the Constitution Act, 1982, the development of the economic union in Canada and the inclusion of mobility rights were at the heart of the debate. However, an analysis of the Supreme Court of Canada's decisions on section 6(2) shows that the Canadian Charter guarantees non-discrimination on the basis of province of residence. International human rights instruments establish the mobility rights as a fundamental right, but a review of various free trade agreements suggests that labor mobility is promoted primarily to meet economic needs. Mobility rights should not uniquely answer economic requirements. Against this background, the recognition of skills and qualifications is imperative to ensure that mobility rights are effective.

A study on knowledge management of work teams in Taipei county junior high school

Unknown Date (has links)
This research is adopted to the method of case study: deeply discussing the difference between the knowledge activities and knowledge management ( KM ) of the work teams of junior high schools in Taipei County. The analysis items include two parts: the feature components of knowledge management and organizational environment. At the same time, the research also gets understanding in the facing problems of the team work and their coordinate strategies. In detail, the feature components of knowledge management include knowledge gaining, knowledge creation, and knowledge saving. The organizational environment includes the members and administrators of the work teams and their cooperation. The research found that the work teams of the teachers of junior high schools in Taipei County even if without acknowledgement in knowledge management, their knowledge activities are corresponding to the cases of current practicing of knowledge management. If to collect all the knowledge activities addressed by each work teams, the difference is getting smaller. Therefore, it is to say that to practice the knowledge management is doable. Key wards: work team, knowledge management(KM), Knowledge gaming, Knowledge saving, Knowledge creation, the sprits of small class instruction, curriculum integration, multiple intelligences, computer assisted instruction ( CAI ).
