FINANCOVÁNÍ ODLEHČOVACÍCH SLUŽEB PRO DĚTI S POSTIŽENÍM V LIBERECKÉM KRAJI / The financing of a respite care for handicaped childern in Liberec regionKEJÍKOVÁ, Ludmila January 2009 (has links)
Funding of Relief Services for Handicapped Children in the Liberec Region The theoretical part, divided into eight chapters, defines the following concepts: family of a handicapped child and society, relief services, domestic public sources to fund relief services, care subsidy, European sources to fund the relief service projects in 2007{--}2013, funding relief services by corporate sponsors, funding relief services through foundations and foundation funds, other sources to fund relief services. The objective of the thesis is to summarize the system, possibilities and forms of funding of relief services for handicapped children in the Liberec Region. Within my research, I applied the combination of semi-controlled interviews with the relief service providers and semi-controlled interviews with handicapped children{\crq}s parents. I also performed content analysis of documents. The semi-controlled interviews with the relief service providers showed that the current status of funding of the organizations providing relief services is not systematic. The results of the semi-controlled interviews with handicapped children{\crq}s parents indicate that the parents taking care of handicapped children in the Liberec Region barely use relief services. The interviewed parents do not distinguish between relief services and the other types of social services, do not know the organizations providing relief services in the Liberec Region and do not have even a vague idea of service costs. The research results lead to three hypotheses: the relief service providers in the Liberec Region must learn to utilize strategically both domestic and foreign financial resources. The relief service providers in the Liberec Region have the opportunity to start a long-term cooperation with corporate and individual sponsors. Handicapped children{\crq}s parents do not distinguish between relief services and the other types of social services. Keywords: relief services, social service providers, family, handicapped, handicapped child, Liberec Region, funding, financial resources.

Qualidade de vida e funcionalidade de indivíduos amputados praticantes e não-praticantes de esportesZanona, Aristela de Freitas 29 September 2014 (has links)
Amputation is the traumatic or surgical loss of one or more limbs. Amputation causes physical, psychological and social damages which result in a decrease in quality of life (QV). Sports have been considered important tools for rehabilitation and social integration of amputees. The aim of this research was to assess quality of life, occupational performance, muscle strength and range of motion of adults with lower limb amputation athlete and non-athlete. The sample consisted of 45 amputees, divided into two groups: Athlete (GE, n = 23) and non-Athlete (GNE, n = 22). The collection was made in the cities of Curitiba, Aracaju and Maceió on December 2013, January and March of 2014. The tools used were The Short Form Health Survey Questionnaire (SF-36), the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM), the goniometry, and the Kendall´s muscle strength test. The tests Shapiro-Wilk, chi-squared and Mann-Whiney (p < 0.05) were used for statistical analysis. The quality of life variable showed significant differences in all eight areas tested: functioning, role limitations due to mental health emotional bodily pain, general health, vitality, social functioning, and between the groups, with the GE presented the best results, indicating better quality of life that the GNE. The Athlete group showed significant higher rates in occupational performance, muscle strength (flexor and extensor muscles of the hip) and range of motion (flexion and hip abduction). Therefore, it was concluded that there was a higher quality of life, occupational performance, muscle strength and range of motion for amputees who practice any sport.

La qualité de travailleur handicapé : contribution à l'étude de l'accès à l'emploi des personnes en situation de handicap / The status of handicapped worker : a contribution to the study of the access to employment of the people with disabilitiesRoccasalva-Serrano, Aude 30 January 2017 (has links)
Les chiffres du chômage témoignent en effet de leurs difficultés persistantes en matière d’insertion professionnelle / The legislator has put in place a specific administrative procedure to recognize the work capacity of persons with disabilities : the RQTH. The 2005 legislature has radically revised the RQTH procedure, which provides a central place for people with disabilities. While one can only welcome the establishment of such a procedure, it is still largely perfectible, particularly as regards the vagueness of its award criteria or the reconciliation between respect for the adversarial and medical secrecy. The legislator has, moreover, reinforced the justiciability of these decisions by multiplying the modes of challenge. However, the absence of specialized jurisdiction in the matter of disability does not allow to draw harmonious jurisprudence and makes this dispute sometimes illegible, Legal uncertainty. RQTH decisions are accompanied by the vocational guidance of disabled workers into the labor market or the sheltered environment. This decision will have a major impact on their social rights. If the former have the status of employee, the latter will be assimilated to users of a social or medico-social service. While the progress made in the employment of people with disabilities is indisputable, it is possible to question the relevance and effectiveness of the measures implemented. Unemployment figures show their persistent difficulties in terms of employability

Onderrigstrategieë vir die hantering van enkele gedragsprobleme by leergestremde laerskoolkinders in hoofstroomonderwys / Instructional strategies for addressing certain behavioural problems among learning disabled pupils in mainstream educationPrinsloo, Esmé 11 1900 (has links)
Vervolgens is enkele bestaande
Aangesien hierdie hulpverleningspraktyke as ortopedagogies verantwoordbaar beskou is, kon
aggressie. / One of the characteristics associated with learning disabled pupils is that they not only
experience learning difficulties, but often manifest behavioural problems that impede their
learning and eventual adulthood. Many educators involved with learning disabled pupils are
unable to address the behavioural problems of these children effectively.
The purpose of this study is to compile instructional strategies that could be put into practice
when dealing with the behavioural problems of learning disabled pupils who are in the
mainstream of education.
Before planning these strategies, the etiology and manifestations of learning disabilities were
addressed. Thereafter, orthopedagogical criteria were applied to evalute certain schools of
thought regarding orthopedagogical practices. Having ascertained that the practices in
question are orthopedagogically sound, instructional strategies, based on these practices, were
planned to address the following behavioural problems: attention deficits, hyperactivity,
impulsivity, hypoactivity, catastrophic reactions and aggression. / Educational Studies / M.Ed. (Orthopedagogics)
