Müller, Marcelle Suzete January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this paper is to create guidelines which help in the development of projects for accessible infant playgrounds to handicapped children. The national laws, decrees and rules such as: a law nº 7.853/1989; the decree nº 5.296/2004; and the rules ABNT NBR 9050/2004 and NBR 16071/2012, just aim broad recommendations to be applied in leisure environments, just informing about the necessity of creating accessible places without indicating how and its form. Therefore, with the objective of establishing and delimitating the existing blanks, this study presents a wide correlation from the obtained data in documentary review of national and international laws, ergonomy concepts, accessibility, assistive technology, universal design principles and field survey at public schools. By its problem extent, the research limited the investigation just to accessibility of wheelchair users, following the steps of Ergonomic Methodology for Built Environment – MEAC. The results are specific guidelines which serve for the courtyard as well as for the infant playground toys.

Pracovní rehabilitace - Individuální plán pracovní rehabilitace / The work rehabilitation - The work rehabilitation individual plan

BIENERTOVÁ, Jitka January 2009 (has links)
Nowadays, namely at the beginning of the third millennium, every individual is entitled to free choice of occupation and acquisition of the means to satisfy his/her necessaries of life. Even the handicapped people have the same rights as the other citizens and they therefore have not only the right to a special (adapted, modified) conditions of work, but also to assistance in the preparation for employment. Work rehabilitation serves to this purpose. In particular the individual plan of work rehabilitation is designed for the clients {--} handicapped persons. The objective of my work was to describe the specific steps and procedures leading to integration of physically disadvantaged persons within the open labour market, in particular to describe the existing methods enabling the evaluation of the current health potential of the handicapped client as a precondition of integration on the labour market. The determination of qualitative research was the key point of the work. I focused in my work on the research in the region of Chomutov and Žatec, carried out from September 2008 till December 2008 in Chomutov. The persons involved in the project are long-term unemployed job applicants with a certain size of disability.

Onderrigstrategieë vir die hantering van enkele gedragsprobleme by leergestremde laerskoolkinders in hoofstroomonderwys / Instructional strategies for addressing certain behavioural problems among learning disabled pupils in mainstream education

Prinsloo, Esmé 11 1900 (has links)
One of the characteristics associated with learning disabled pupils is that they not only experience learning difficulties, but often manifest behavioural problems that impede their learning and eventual adulthood. Many educators involved with learning disabled pupils are unable to address the behavioural problems of these children effectively. The purpose of this study is to compile instructional strategies that could be put into practice when dealing with the behavioural problems of learning disabled pupils who are in the mainstream of education. Before planning these strategies, the etiology and manifestations of learning disabilities were addressed. Thereafter, orthopedagogical criteria were applied to evalute certain schools of thought regarding orthopedagogical practices. Having ascertained that the practices in question are orthopedagogically sound, instructional strategies, based on these practices, were planned to address the following behavioural problems: attention deficits, hyperactivity, impulsivity, hypoactivity, catastrophic reactions and aggression. / Educational Studies / M.Ed. Zlepšení informovanosti poskytovatelů sociálních služeb o doporučených způsobech chování při vzniku mimořádné události / Improving awareness of social service providers about the best ways of behavior when an emergency

KOVÁČ, David January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was "To assess the current state of awareness of the personnel of the social services providers in the field of extraordinary events, to assess the effectiveness of the implemented training program". Based on the stated objective, then, to verify 2 established hypotheses. Hypothesis No. 1, ´Awareness of social service provider staff on the recommended behaviour manners during extraordinary events does not reach 80% of correct response success´ , and Hypothesis No. 2, ´Social service provider staff education leads to an improvement in the current situation of behaviour manners during extraordinary events´. To fulfill this aim, a research survey was created, which I personally carried out in 4 social service providers, fulfilling the following criteria: the social service provider had to provide a ´stay´ form, handicapped individuals had to stay there´, and the place had to be located in the region of South Bohemia. The results were being evaluated via graphics processed in Microsoft Excel Word 2007 programme. To evaluate Hypothesis No. 2 I created an educative material in an e-learning form, containing 5 thematic areas: protection of population, fire, floods, chemical substances, and radio-active substances. I introduced this educative material to the social service provider staff, and subsequently I carried out a second round of interview survey. In the results of this work I was comparing the staff´s responses before the implemented educative programme, and after. The results of my research work have proven that the less staff takes part in education on protection of population, the less individuals are introduced to the recommended manners of behaviour during extraordinary events. The educative programme has brought valuable information for the social service provider staff. An improvement was missing in certain responses, but in my opinion, this is due to an extremely expert or thematic area of questions. A significant improvement was noticed in the second round of questionnaire survey after implementing the educative programme.
