A lot of sanatoriums and other similar institutions already have or have involved in their planes to deploy solutions which computerize registration of orders, vacancy control, and processes of nourishment. But in reality there are no such solutions that could guarantee automation of processes of treatment and health care of patients. The target of this work is to analyze activity and requirements of sanatoriums and other similar institutions in purpose to design and realize information system which improves treatment and comfortability of patients, make automation of most processes of activity of sanatoriums. The main attention was paid to tools and technologies analyses design and realization which allow: o to provide the monitoring of patient’s state of health and guarantee operative and adequate reaction in case of alert; o to create an “electronic helper” which would be used by patients of sanatoriums and which would increase comfortability of patients. Prototype of Information system of patient’s state of health monitoring and comfort providing was realized using platform independent J2EE (Java 2, Enterprise Edition) and Oracle technologies.

ODRES (output driven requirements engineering)method, which is being developed in the department of information systems comprises the following stages: separating out the context, specification of function results, specification of data sources, specification of data source processing, modelling, automatic projectionof interface of information system and prototype. While creating requirement specification, there arises a need to evaluate the quality of it. In every stage of creating requirement specification an analyst does not know if he or she has got enough information in order to do produce a working prototype of the system. Therefore, in this study the problem of information system is analysed, namely, the problem of how to hallmark the quality of ISRS? How to measure this quality? What must the IS be, so that it is of good quality? While seeking to evaluate the quality of RS, it is necessary to understant and analyse what is quality on the whole, how it is defined, how it is measured and if it is possible to measure it at all. In this study methods which are used to measure the quality and the possibilities of CASE tools to evaluate specification quality are analyzed. In the research requirements to evaluate the RS quality have also been established and the experiment that realizes the RS quality evaluation has been done.

This master work seeks to create and to install passports and visas issue information system and to make MVC framework which may be used in other information systems creation process. Passports and visas issues information system was designed in order to automate the process of giving passports and visas. To create this information system was programmed MVC framework. Mentioned framework is able to call modules methods from template files. This ability makes programming process more speedy. This master work consists of such steps: reviewing similar passports and visas issue information systems, analyzing MVC framework, choosing templates class, programming languages and according to MVC framework was created passports and visas issue web application. It will be observed that passports and visas issue information system is installed and used in practically and the experience of exploatation is 0.5 years.

„A translation memory is a multilingual text archive containing (segmented, aligned, parsed and classified) multilingual texts, allowing storage and retrieval of aligned multilingual text segments against various search conditions.” TRANSMEM offers modern technologies for conducting and updatings of databases of the executed translations. Keeping work performed by the translator, TRANSMEM provides high efficiency and real profit in the future projects. The database of the executed translations releases the translator from repeated, taking away it is a lot of operating time, the translator keeps the full control over the maintenance and quality of the text. One of attractive features of system “Transmem” - the translator can work with a familiar word-processor – Open.Office.org. TRANSMEM compiles a linguistic database (TM) on the second plan while translators work in Open.Office.org. TM keeps the initial text and its corresponding translation. When there is a new segment (a phrase or the offer) the system immediately compares it with kept in TM segments. If identical or similar initial the segment is, it is displayed together with translation. Words and phrases which differ from the kept text, are highlighted by system. The translator makes a decision: to edit, reject or accept translation. Each change or new translation are kept in ТМ. As a result, the same offer should be never translated manually twice.

The use of IT has spread in educational institutions recently: the history of the school, news is launched on school websites. There are organized many discussions and quizzes. Many institutions use “E-diary” – the specialized information system. The main purpose of this system – to change usual diaries of paper format and record books into electronic ones. The information system of Kaunas Builder’s Training Centre is used by 4 groups of users: administrator, teachers, pupils and parents. Each group has different rights of the use. Each user has his/her own user name and password which allows to enter the program. These things ensure safety and confidentiality of the data. The user is able to edit and look through the information which is assigned only for him. To use this system, you do not need to install any software. Everything you need is internet. You can use this system wherever you are, using any OS and simply internet terminal. All you should know is school website address, your user name and password.

This work is aimed to research the most effective way of using ADO.NET data access components in medicine system development process. This document we start from evaluating current situation of e-medicine in Lithuania and world wide. Consider the problems, which originate doing a lot of “paper work”, introduce with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems, list the advantages of using EMR in medicine organizations. Later we give a brief description of EMR functionality, used standards ant technologies in EMR creation process. After all we concentrate on data manipulating problem, trying to discover the best solution to solve it by using ADO.NET data access components. Beside, we analyze all the components of ADO.NET architecture, describe situations in which different component is most suitable, suggest how to avoid performance degradation in data manipulation processes. Data is most expensive worth in medicine. So, we must ensure that data manipulating process will be effective and will not cause any additional problems for medicine personal.

The master work presents the modified Ross method-based model for business rules structuring during the information systems design as well as a software implementation of this model. The developed tool provides the designer with possibilities to create graphical business rules models, relating them with the specific elements of universe of discourse data model. The models are then processed and stored in a specialized repository. The presentation includes the overview of the model as well as the analysis of the specific features of the developed tool.
