The purpose of the final work is forming a simulation model of the process of reloading of oil in the oil terminal that would let make a simulation model of accepting oil products by railway to the oil terminal. In order to fulfil the purpose of the final work there were some tasks risen: a conceptual model of reloading process of oil was made, a mathematical model of reloading process of oil was made, too, an aggregate diagram of the simulation model was made an the models of the classes of the program realization were shown as well. The object of the final work is the simulation model of the process of reloading oil created in the oil terminal. Having used an object–oriented simulation system library of simulation modelling JPranas and AgDraw program, the programming realization of simulation model in Java programming system was created. The results of the final work: experiments with the created simulation model of reloading process of oil in order to find out the optimum solution have been created. The created simulation model allows changing these parameters of the model: 1. The intensity of arriving of trains at the railway station. 2. The temperature outside. There is a great variety of software solutions which improve quality of work and increase productivity. Nevertheless there still is a demand for specialized software sollutions, often coupled to particular production systems. In this work author approaches such a concrete subject of computer hardware and repair in small and medium enterprise. Proposed information system not only allows internal administration of service requests within a company, but also provides complete status and process overview for customers accessing company's intranet. This is a unique solution of a kind as others are too general and do not fullfil specific demands posed in the specification. The main subject of this work is software design, development and investigation. Analysis of current software technology platforms was performed and the best deployment platform LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP) was selected. Modular system design provided easy system development and future extendability as well as integration into other portals. Final resulting information system incorporates a number of advanced networking and programming technologies: template engine, certificate based security, data encryption engine and others. Implemented software is customized to meet the needs of particular enterprise and is currently used as part of its' intranet and service network. Legal open source technologies were mostly used for developing the product.

Multi-layer construction elements improve technical characteristics of the product. There is exhaustive analysis of software in this work. Besides that the model for design of multi-layer construction elements subjected by bending is created in this work. The purpose of this program is calculation of stiffness and stresses for multi-layer constructions subjected by cross forces and bending moments. Modeling the design process of multi-layer construction elements is simple task that can be automatized by creation of modeling system. This program allows to calculate stiffness and strength of multi-layer construction elements subjected by cross forces and bending moments. It is possible to design various constructions of beams changing different parameters. The programme itself is simple for every student, engineer.This model can be used for scientific research, engineering calculations, laboratorial calculations. The program allows to evaluate strength of multi-layer construction element subjected by bending. The construction will not hold out external load if intensity of stresses in one layer exceeds permissible stresses of strength limit of this layer material. The report is given in such case. The distribution of calculated stresses in cross-section of multi-layer construction elements can be shown graphically. It significantly facilitate designer’s work.

Modern educational institutions use static methods e.g. tests in computer-based knowledge assessment systems. Tests have pattern questions with limited number of answers. Use of such methods does not guarantee objective knowledge assessment – numbers of the right answers could be guessed or memorized in advance. Practical skills can be tested by assigning programming tasks. In order to complete practical tasks students need good knowledge in the fields examined. This leads to better assessment of student knowledge in theory and practice. Teachers get better feedback. However practical tasks need considerable amount of time to be examined in detail which most teachers do not have. When assignments are tested superficially students tend to plagiarize and so the problem gets even deeper. A survey by Donald McCabe of approximately 6000 students revealed that 74% of engineering students reported engaging in some form of academic dishonesty. The goal of this work was to build a computer-based system to assess software quality and detect plagiarism. The system was designed and implemented. Experimental tests have shown good results. The system is intended to be used in future courses and gradually improved by other students.

A major goal of this work is to develop a model for a computer-based patient medical record system which could be accessed through the world wide web. The fundamental function of such system is to record, monitor, retrieve all events associated with an encounter between the patient and the healthcare system. This document presents a description of informational system in the field of biomedicine which is appointed to patients, with coronary heart disease. First of all, urgency, applicability and functions of such informative system are presented. Further the main points of the problem, which consists of system realization and publishing on the web, and its solutions are analyzed in details.

Project aim – preparation of electronic signature certification authority (CA) project and certificate managing software (information system) prototype. The work reviews the problems of electronic signature infrastructure development in Lithuania. The analytical survey of electronic signature CA was carried out. The standards determining the structure of electronic signature Certificate, CA activities, requirements for Trustworthy Systems Managing Certificates were examined. The organizational structure of CA was prepared and working model was worked out. The workflow model was worked out to depict the hierarchy of certification processes. The use case model were created for certificate issuing, data processing and providing data of revoked certificates. Detail descriptions of information streams between the system and computerized tasks are provided. Structural diagrams on the information streams were created. According to information flows the entity relations diagram was created, the logical structure of data bases (DB) for certificates was developed. The DB Esign of valid certificates and DB Esign_archives of revoked certificates were created. Specification of program modules was made up. Three types of manuals were prepared for system users – a manual for the client, a manual for the user and a manual for the programmer. The certificate managing system prototype was tested.
