Grafické projevy u ohrožených žáků mladšího školního věku / Graphic manifestation of children of younger school age at risk

Járka, Štěpán January 2021 (has links)
This dissertation is based on specific areas of learning and disabilities that are related to gross and fine motor skills and the main focus is on the manifestations of dysgraphia. The aim is to affect the peculiarity of these disorders depending on the drawing and artistic abilities of students which requires Rey-Osterrieth's complex figure and additional tasks that are compared with this figure. Rey-Osterrieth's complex figure is a well-known and used diagnostic tool in the field of learning disabilities and it is used to compare the performance of students. The student's artistic ability, perception of perspectives, spatial composition, and work with lines are very important. The performance of each student is described in detail in this dissertation, both through quantification and through a written description. In the dissertation, there can found a case study and a comparison of students that differ from the average data.

Rouleau, Mélanie 02 1900 (has links)
Because of their phonological deficit causing important reading difficulties, dyslexic students are particularly at risk of school failure. Recent studies have demonstrated that morphological units contained in the words allow recognition and in addition, facilitate access to meaning. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the morphological knowledge of french dyslexic students. We tested dyslexic students (n = 54) and normal readers (n = 134) by administering three tasks on the knowledge of derivational morphology to see if they treated these morphological constituents when reading. We located these three tasks on a continuum based on mental operations needed to better perceive their developmental trajectory. We finally compared the performance of dyslexics students to normal readers of the same age (n = 46) and younger students (n = 88), but the same reading level. Our results showed that all three groups of students tested had all benefited morphological units to succeed these three tasks and that the level of success goes hand in hand with the explicit nature of these tasks.

No. of bitstreams: 1 RAUNI JANDE ROAMA ALVES.pdf: 1597487 bytes, checksum: 2c5fc0e1ecfc2b3e4750ae14cfbd068e (MD5) Previous issue date: 2013-12-13 / Pontif?cia Universidade Cat?lica de Campinas / Dyslexia is a disorder resulting from neuropsychological dysfunction and mostly causes difficulties in learning to read. International studies speculate that this framework does not only involve deficient cognitive skills, but also well developed, such as creativity. Starting from this hypothesis, the present study aimed to compare the creativity of children with dyslexia (GC) with children without difficulties in reading and writing (GN). It was also investigated how the intelligence is related to that performance in both groups. The GC was recruited at the Clinical Hospital of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and the GN in a regular school of the state of S?o Paulo. It was investigated 13 children in each group, ranging in age from eight years to 11 years and eight months (GC: M=10,92+1,03; GN: M=10,61+0,50), with five females and eight males in group GC and nine females and four males in group GN. To survey the creativity was used the "Test of Figural Creativity for Children (TCFI) and for intelligence was administered the test "Raven Coloured Progressive Matrices (MPCR)", "Human Figure Drawing (DFH)" and "Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children - third version (WISC-III)", the latter two only in GC. For the selection of the GN was used a questionnaire for parents and a semistructured interview for teachers to eliminate diagnostic criteria for dyslexia, besides the "Academic Performance Test", with the aim of selecting children with reading and writing performance expected for age and grade. The results showed no statistically significant differences between both groups in creativity. However, the GC had a lower average than the GN in the total TCFI, while also showed higher scores for 18 of the 31 characteristics evaluated by it. High correlation was observed between the MPCR and the TCFI in both groups and no significant correlations between the DFH and the WISC-III with the TCFI in GC. Some hypotheses have been formulated: the existence of possible relationships between creativity and executive functions, the latter being to the detriment of individuals with dyslexia, which could explain the result of the total TCFI; the influence of emotional and possibly aspects of personality that are characteristic of dyslexia, which could explain the better performance in the majority of the characteristics evaluated in TCFI. There was no pattern in the correlations between measures of intelligence and creativity in both investigated groups, as found in the literature. It is concluded that this study provided important findings for early clarification on a possible relationship between creativity and dyslexia, however, considering the complexity of both constructs, studies involving the investigation of their relations with other psychological variables as well as expansion and diversification of the sample are needed.

Mokinių, turinčių specifinių mokymosi sutrikimų, gebėjimas spręsti ekonominio pobūdžio matematinius uždavinius / Ability of Pupils with Specific Learning Disorders to Solve Mathematics Tasks of Economic Nature

Šiukščiuvienė, Vilija 17 July 2014 (has links)
Bakalauro darbe analizuojami mokinių, turinčių specifinių mokymosi sutrikimų, gebėjimas spręsti ekonominio pobūdžio matematinius uždavinius. Teorinėje darbo dalyje pabrėžiama, kad vienas iš veiksmingiausių ekonominio pobūdžio matematinio raštingumo ugdymo aspektų – mokymas spręsti gyvenimiško turinio tekstinius uždavinius, kuriuose vyrauja veiksmai su procentais. Empiriniu tyrimu siekiama įvertinti dešimtos klasės mokinių, turinčių specifinių mokymosi sutrikimų, gebėjimą spręsti ekonominio pobūdžio matematinius uždavinius. Tyrimui atlikti naudojama anketa/kontrolinis testas. Kiekybiniame tyrime (anketinėje apklausoje) dalyvavo 34 Panevėžio bendrojo ugdymo mokyklose dešimtose klasėse besimokantys šešiolikos-septyniolikos metų mokiniai, turintys specifinių mokymosi sutrikimų. Visiems mokiniams nustatyti nedideli specialieji ugdymosi poreikiai. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Pupils who have specific learning disorders and their ability to solve Mathematics Tasks of Economic nature is analyzed in this bachelor‘s thesis. The theoretical part of the final work emphasizes that one of the most effective economic nature mathematical literacy education‘s aspect is a teaching how to solve the real-life content‘s text tasks in which dominate operations with percentages. It is seeked to evaluate students of the tenth grades who have specific learning disorders to solve mathematics tasks of economic nature by empirical research. Questionnaire and control test are used to accomplish the research. In the quantitative investigation (questionnaire interrogation) participated 34 pupils of sixteen-seventeen years of age who are studying in the tenth forms at Panevėžys co- educational schools and have specific learning disorders. There are determined minor special educational needs for all these students. According to research it‘s determined that the most successful tasks for students were: remuneration and deduction, person and family proceeds, expenditure, savings, practical budget planning and counting. The students accomplished these tasks sufficiently productive and by one selves. The biggest quandaries came to the front, when schoolchildren had to count the simple interest rate, compound interest, hire purchase composite percent tasks. The most students needed the different intensity of the teacher‘s help, unfortunately a considerable part of the students... [to full text]

A NOVA POLÍTICA DE EDUCAÇÃO ESPECIAL E SUAS DECORRÊNCIAS PARA O ATENDIMENTO DE ALUNOS COM TRANSTORNOS DE APRENDIZAGEM. / THE NEW POLICY FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION AND ITS CONSEQUENCES FOR THE ASSISTANCE OF STUDENTS WITH LEARNING DISORDERS.

Tambara, Katiusce Giacomelli 08 March 2013 (has links)
This work is inserted into the line of research in Special Education of the Master‟s Degree in Education of the Graduate Program in the Federal University of Santa Maria. It was based on experiences in public schools, where students with learning disorders are present in a significant number and, considering the delimitation of students referred to Special Education by the National Policy of Special Education in the Perspective of Inclusive Education in 2008, are no longer part of the pedagogic assistance by Special Education teachers. The focus of this study was to analyze how the assistance of students with learning disabilities is happening, from the perspective of teachers. The research was characterized as qualitative and descriptive and used semi-structured interviews with eight Special Education teachers of municipal schools of Santa Maria and an enclosed questionnaire with the manager responsible for the area within the Municipal Education in Santa Maria, as instruments to collect data. For interpretation and assessment of the data, the technique of content analysis of Bardin (2008) was used. As a result, the research has shown that students with learning disabilities remain in regular classrooms at school. Some are assisted in the school environment by the Special Education teacher, but most are referred to care services outside the school, exempting the school from the responsibility of students not being able to learn. It also showed that Special Education is not being seen by teachers as an epistemological field of knowledge but as a service, a support, a modality. And finally, it‟s highlighted the importance of continuity in discussions of Special Education and Inclusive Education, especially when considering the design of synonymy in which both have been addressed, which should not occur in both the teachers' speech and theoretical references and, therefore, being imperative to deepen and clarify the differences pertaining to each area of knowledge and pedagogical action.

Strategies for Developing Individual Education Programs for Public School Music Students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Dyslexia

Raviotta, Benjamin 12 1900 (has links)
Strategies for Developing Individual Education Programs for Public School Music Students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Dyslexia explores the need for curriculum modifications, accommodations, and remediation techniques for beginner band students with specific learning disorders (SLDs) under the umbrella of Individual Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and/or dyslexia. ADHD and dyslexia are the most common of the neurodevelopmental disorders, often affecting a student's ability to stay focused and attentive; remain quiet and well behaved; comprehend written, visual and/or oral instruction; organize thoughts and materials; exhibit good time management; execute fine and gross motor skills; retain and recall information; decode symbols; process information quickly and correctly; maintain healthy, interpersonal relationships; and overcome anxiety. In order to provide inclusive instruction, music educators should understand how to identify these (often comorbid) conditions and the musical challenges these students might encounter, including time/pulse, notation, rhythm, posture, fingerings, and sight-reading. A guide for instrumental directors and private instrumental teachers, "How to Accommodate or Modify Musical Instruction for a Student with ADHD and/or Dyslexia" is included in this dissertation to provide useful information, multisensory techniques, and suggestions to help students with these learning disabilities achieve better success in the music classroom.

Hrubá motorika u dětí se specifickými poruchami učení / Gross motor skills in children with specific learning disabilities

Čumpelíková, Nikola January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis examines the influence of specific learning disabilities on the gross motor skills of pupils at primary schools. The primary objective is to find out which specific learning disability affects gross motor skills and thus may have an impact on physical education difficulties. To achieve the primary goal, I chose a partial goal, which is to find out whether over the past ten years has increased or decreased the number of pupils with specific learning disabilities in primary schools. The secondary objective is to determine the awareness of PE teachers in primary schools about the issue of specific learning disabilities and to consider pupils in physical education lessons if they experience specific learning disabilities. The analysis of literature and questionnaire will be used to achieve these goals. The questionnaire survey was carried out by means of an electronic questionnaire, which was filled in by 55 respondents from primary schools in the Central Bohemia Region. The results of the questionnaire survey are processed into graphs and tables. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part I deal with the issue of specific learning disabilities, then the motor skills of people and assessment of pupils with special educational needs. The practical part focuses on...
