Thesis is about the company's financial balance. The aim is to assess the capital structure in selected existing businesses. The analysis focuses on identifying the main factors that affect decisions about the use of financial resources.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a single-purpose machine for machining steering wheel lever from PUR. The problem with the current state was the need of manpower for machine a large number of levers. The automated machining process eliminates the problem. The result of the work is a detailed 3D model of a single-purpose machine created in the Onshape program, drawing documentation of several parts of the equipment, economic evaluation and risk analysis of the machine. The conclusion of the thesis contains an evaluation of the whole project.

This thesis deals with a project of a lever-jack used for a race car. Its aim is to design a suitable model responding to all needs of such mechanism. The work itself is divided into several chapters. The first chapter is mainly theoretical, focusing on introduction of different types of lever-jacks. Further on, two engineering designs were created (mechanical and hydraulic). Kinematic calculation and strength calculation of some selected parts were done for each of these designs.

Bakgrund: HIV räknas idag som en kronisk sjukdom, som för personen som lever med det innebär en livslång läkemedelsbehandling. Dagens läkemedelsbehandling innebär en liten risk att föra smittan vidare om den är välinställd. Trots detta är HIV ett tabubelagt ämne, där stigmatisering mot dessa personer förekommer i deras dagliga liv. Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka hur personer som lever med HIV upplever stigmatisering i sitt dagliga liv.Metod: Metoden var en litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats. Studierna som användes är hämtade ifrån databaserna PubMed, CINAHL och PsycInfo. Utifrån litteratursökningen valdes artiklar ut som sedan kvalitetsgranskades. De studier som gick igenom granskningen analyserades genom innehållsanalys. Resultat: Tre teman identifierades i studierna. Det första temat var Leva med en hemlighet, där problematiken angående avslöjande av sin diagnos framgick. Det andra temat var Bemötande inom sjukvården, där det framgick hur personer med HIV beskrev sin upplevelse av tillit och bemötande i sjukvården. Det tredje temat var Relationer, som tar upp de olika relationer som man har i ett dagligt liv. Konklusion: Stigmatisering i det dagliga livet är något som genomgående i studierna upplevdes av personer som lever med HIV. Att bibehålla kontroll över sin diagnos och hur och när denna ska avslöjas var av största vikt. Skammen och skulden över diagnosen påverkade personerna som lever med HIV negativt då det skapades ett självstigma relaterat till deras egna förutfattade meningar. Personer som lever med HIV hade frekvent upplevt stigmatisering inom hälso- och sjukvård vilket skapade brist på tillit och förtroende till sjukvårdspersonal. För att undvika stigmatisering i olika kontexter finns det ett tydligt behov av kunskapsutveckling både på samhällsnivå och inom hälso- och sjukvård. / Background: Today, HIV is considered a chronic disease, which for the person living with it means lifelong drug treatment. Current drug treatment involves a small risk of transmitting the infection if treatment is well-tuned. Despite this, HIV is a taboo subject, and stigmatization against those affected is common. Aim: The aim was to investigate how individuals living with HIV experience stigmatization in their daily life. Method: The method was a literature search with a qualitative approach. The studies used where from the databases PubMed, CINAHL and PsycInfo. The quality of the studies was evaluated through a qualitatively review. The final studies were then analysed through a content analysis. Results: Three themes were identified from the studies. The first theme was “Living with a secret”, where the problem of disclosure of their diagnosis emerged. The second theme was “Treatment in the healthcare sector”, in which individuals with HIV described their experience of trust and conduct within the health care system. The third theme was “Relationships”, which highlighted the various relationships occurring in daily life. Conclusion: Throughout the studies, stigmatization in daily life was experiences by individuals living with HIV. Maintaining control over their diagnosis and how and when this was revealed was of the utmost importance. Shame and guilt over the diagnosis affected individuals negatively, creating a self-stigma related to their own preconceived opinions. Individuals living with HIV had frequently experienced stigmatization in the healthcare system, which created a lack of trust and confidence in healthcare professionals. In order to avoid stigmatization in different contexts, there is a clear need for improved knowledge both at the community level and within the health care sector.

This diploma thesis solves the analysis of the influence of calibration and the method of strips alignment on the geometric accuracy of a point cloud acquired by UAV lidar scanning. The aim was to find out the influence of individual used methods, respectively various combinations. The effect of the design of the cross-flights has also been added. The evaluation was performed using standard deviations of the distances corresponding to the areas scanned in different point bands. Furthermore, verification was performed by comparing checkpoints. The results show that there is no dependence between the individual combinations. The only case was a larger displacement of the point cloud at the edge of the scanned strip in the case of cross-flights.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur syskonrelationer framställs i två av Astrid Lindgrens böcker. Än lever Emil i Lönneberga (1967) och Madicken (1967). Vidare är syftet att undersöka hur pojkar respektive flickor skildras i dessa böcker. Med hjälp av en kvalitativ textanalys och en närläsning av böckerna har dessa analyserats utifrån Maria Nikolajevas (1998) redskap för en boks karaktärer. Nikolajevas abstrakta schema för vilka egenskaper som anses vara normativa för flickor respektive pojkar kommer även det att ligga till grund för analysen. Resultatet visar att de analyserade karaktärerna visade upp egenskaper som både är typiskt manliga/pojkiga respektive kvinnliga/flickiga.

A pragmatic method for designing compliant mechanisms is developed in this thesis, by selecting among existing mechanisms one that may be modified as required. This method complements existing techniques by answering questions of the existence and multiplicity of solutions for the given specifications of a practical problem. The premise for the method is a 2D map that juxta- poses the problem-specifications and the characteristics of compliant mechanisms in a database. The selection of the most suitable mechanisms is similar to Ashby's method of material selection. In our method, stuffiness, inertia, and the inherent kinematic characteristics of compliant mechanisms are analogous to material properties in Ashby's method. These characteristics capture the lumped behavior of compliant mechanisms in static and dynamic situations using spring-lever (SL) and spring-mass-lever (SML) models. The work includes the development of computation- ally efficient methods to compute the SL and SML model characteristics of single-input and single-output compliant mechanisms. Also developed in this work is a method to determine a feasible map by solving the governing equations of equilibrium and several inequalities pertaining to problem- specifications. The map helps not only in assessing the feasibility of the specifications but also in re-designing the mechanisms in predetermined ways to nd multiple solutions, all of which account for practical considerations. The method pays due attention to the overall size, strength considerations, manufacturability, and choice of material. It also enables minimal alterations of the problem-specifications when the user prefers a particular mechanism in the database. All these features are implemented in a web-based Java program with a graphical user interface that can be accessed at http://www.mecheng.iisc.ernet.in/ m2d2/CM design. Six case- studies that include micro machined inertial sensors, miniature valve mechanisms, ultra-sensitive force sensors, etc., are documented in detail to demonstrate the usefulness of the method in practice.

Předmětem diplomové práce je zpracování ekonomické analýzy vybraného průmyslové podniku s využitím nástrojů a metod finanční a ekonomické analýzy. Cílem práce je na základě detailní analýzy účetních a interních dat z let 2003 až 2008 prozkoumat vnitřní ekonomické závislosti, specifické pro daný podnik, a na základě toho co nejpřesněji predikovat stav na konci roku 2009. Součástí analýzy je také podrobné odvětvové srovnání podniku s využitím výpočtu hodnoty EVA pomocí metodiky pyramidového rozkladu ročního ukazatele EVA-INFA, jak ji používá Ministerstvo průmyslu a obchodu ČR. Kromě jiného je cílem práce doporučit vedení analyzovaného podniku opatření, která by vedla v roce 2009 a dalších letech ke zlepšení ukazatele EVA.
