It also investigates whether contemporary children's literature has contributed to deconstructing the rooting of an adult and patriarchal culture. We also discuss the discursive relationship between verbal and visual in the construction of the imaginary. The methodology used, through both theoretical and fictional reading, is based on the aesthetic effect of Iser, highlighting points in similarities and differences of works, taking into account the historical process of literature and the transformations of both society and pedagogy. / Este estudo tem como diálogo as expressões: alegorias e símbolos, presentes nas obras A bolsa amarela, de Lygia Bojunga, e A moça tecelã, de Marina Colasanti, a partir da discussão sobre a representação do gênero feminino e da igualdade de gênero, no imaginário, na literatura infantil brasileira, sob a perspectiva de Gilbert Durant, como teórico fundamental para a compreensão acerca do imaginário. Investiga, ainda, se a literatura infantil contemporânea tem contribuído para a desconstrução do enraizamento de uma cultura adulta e patriarcal. Abordase, também, a relação discursiva entre o verbal e o visual na construção do imaginário. A metodologia utilizada, por meio da leitura, tanto de teóricos como de ficcionais, pela vertente do efeito estético de Iser, visa destacar pontos em semelhanças e diferenças das obras, levando em consideração o processo histórico da literatura e as transformações tanto da sociedade quanto da pedagogia.

From a perspective of the Cultural and Gender Studies, this paper aimed at analysing the role of the grandmother in the path of the protagonist of the A asa esquerda do anjo narrative, written by Lya Luft and published in 1981, seeking to understand the construction of female identity mediated by the educational processes of primary socialization in the domestic space. Based on the questions and goals, the methodological option was centered on a qualitative research of the bibliographic type, using literary sources, bibliographies related to the theme and varied documents. Thus, we interpret the enunciations presented to the interlocutors by the memory weaves of the narrator-protagonist, based on the theories concerning Gender and Generation, Memory and Identity and Domestic Education, bringing up the dialogue and the interweaving of conceptions of the critics and scholars who bend over such themes. From the analysis carried out, we were able to infer that in the family relations of the Luft s plot considered, the grandmother exerted her authority through the command/control of the ―home world‖, exercising power for the shaping/education of her grandchildren. That highlights a web of relationships, tension, generational conflicts and cultural clashes that flow into the transit and the identity constructions of those who were ―managed‖ by the matriarch. / Sob a ótica dos Estudos Culturais e de Gênero, este estudo visou analisar o lugar da mulher-avó no percurso da protagonista da narrativa A asa esquerda do anjo, de autoria da gaúcha Lya Luft, publicada em 1981; buscando compreender a construção da identidade feminina mediada por processos educativos de socialização primária no espaço doméstico. Com base nas questões e objetivos, a opção metodológica recaiu por sobre a pesquisa qualitativa de cunho bibliográfico, utilizando-se de fontes/obras literárias, bibliografias pertinentes ao tema e documentos variados. Assim, interpretamos os enunciados, apresentados ao interlocutor pelos fios das lembranças da narradora protagonista, à luz de teorias concernentes a Gênero e Geração, Memória e Identidade e Educação doméstica, num permitir o diálogo e o entrecruzamento entre as acepções de críticos e estudiosos que discutem tais temas. A partir das análises desenvolvidas, foi-nos possível inferir que nas relações familiares do enredo luftiano estudado, a avó desempenhava sua autoridade por meio do comando/domínio do ―mundo da casa‖, exercendo o poder para a formação/educação das netas, o que destaca uma teia de relações, tensão, conflitos geracionais e choques culturais que deságuam no transitar e nas construções identitárias dos ―gerenciados‖ pela matriarca.
