D. W. Winnicott e Heidegger : a teoria do amadurecimento pessoal e a acontecencia humana / D. W. Winnicot and Heidegger: maturation and historicity theories

Santos, Eder Soares 25 September 2006 (has links)
Orientador: Zeljko Loparic / Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Filosofia e Ciencias Humanas / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-07T06:38:24Z (GMT). The aim of the present work is to investigate the possibility of establishing a bond between Winnicott's theory of personal maturation and Heidegger's theory of Geschichtlichkeit (historicity). We used Kuhn's notion ofparadigm to distinguish Winnicott's psychoanalysis from traditional psychoanalysis (Freud and KIein) within the framework of historical development of psychoanalysis. What stands out is that in comparison to traditional psychoanalysis, Winnicott's psychoanalysis promotes a paradigm shift in alI elements that compose the disciplinary matrix of psychoanalytical theory. The establishment of that distinction allowed us to singIe out one ofthe components ofthat matrix for our study, i.e., the ontological component. By this choice, we intend to show, on one hand, that the ontology found in Winnicott's theory approaches a way of thinking human nature which is very dose to Heidegger's post-metaphysical conceptions so that his theory appropriation could illurninate the comprehension of the ontological elements that compose Winnicott's theory. On the other hand, that movement of approximation points towards a distancing, which shows that Winnicott's psychoanalysis contains several instigating and additional issues in relation to existential phenomenology. The investigation ofthe possible nearness and farness between those two theories leads us to question Winnicott's psychoanalysis in relation to a post-metaphysical thinking and gave way to the discussion on the possibilities of creating a science of mano / Doutorado / Doutor em Filosofia

Ontologia fundamental e tecnica : uma contribuição ao estudo da "Kehre" no pensamento de Heidegger / Fundamental ontology and technology: a contribution to the study of "Kehre" in Heidegger's thought

Ferreira, Alexandre de Oliveira 30 August 2007 (has links)
Orientador: Zeljko Loparic / Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Filosofia e Ciencias Humanas / Made available in DSpace on 2018-08-09T08:15:39Z (GMT). This work¿s objective is to study the Kehre, the inflection initiated in Heidegger's thought during the 30s due to his relationship with the question of technique. The so called ¿turn¿ is defined as a conversion of the question of the ¿meaning of being¿ to the question of the ¿truth of being¿, thought of as a ¿topology of being¿. Heidegger¿s trajectory will be considered by conciliating two lines of interpretation: one which treats the Kehre as a consequence of inner contradictions in the project of fundamental ontology; and another one which comprehends it as the result of new challenges that occurred to his way of thinking: fundamentally, technique and the involvement with National-Socialism. The thesis argues that, in consequence of the inner difficulties of the existential analytic the project of a fundamental ontology proved, already at the end of 20s, to be insufficient to deconstruct the metaphysics of presence. However, these difficulties became intensified and clearer only by means of the problem of technique, which lead to problems which could not be perceived in the field of fundamental ontology. In relation to the inner difficulties of fundamental ontology three aspects will be emphasized: 1) the impossibility to conclude the project of the science of being; 2) the difficulty to surmount the so-called ¿philosophy of subjectivity¿; 3) the insufficiency of existential analytic to destroy the history of ontology and to cause the Dasein to appropriate its own time. Concerning technique, the dialog with Ernst Jünger will be emphasized as well as the fact that Heidegger¿s confrontation with technique is responsible for his engagement and for his disappointment with the National-Socialist movement; for his reflections concerning art and language (which start in the second half of the 30s); and also for the elaboration of some fundamental concepts of his late thought, like: Ereignis; ¿topology of being¿ and Geviert. Finally, it should be proved that the Kehre is a gradual process, although radical, since it relates to the origin of truth. It represents a gradual abandonment of temporality as a transcendent horizon for the understanding of being, showing the necessity to search for an origin of truth in the epochal sendings of being itself / Doutorado / Filosofia / Doutor em Filosofia

O Conceito de Existência em Ser e Tempo / The Concept of Existence in Being and Time

SILVA, Eliana Borges da 28 June 2010 (has links)

No. of bitstreams: 1 ELIANA BORGES.pdf: 616051 bytes, checksum: 182db974c5f16ec819ed5c2101c39748 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2010-06-28 / This work discusses the concept of existence, presented in major work of Martin Heidegger, Being and time. This concept will be characterized as the singular way of being of the man, named in the context of Being and time, Dasein. Thus, we address the issue in four stages. At first, we present a brief exposition of Heidegger s ontological project, necessary for a correct understanding of all this work. At this time, should be highlighted why Dasein figure as the privileged being and, thus, thematized throughout the book. In the second phase, the theme being developed is the existence as a new way of understanding the entity that exists always in relation with being. Since, in Being and time, Heidegger abandons the older categories that only apply to entities other than ourselves, and forge the existential expression to refer to the characteristics of Dasein. In the third step we will address the opening of existence as the place where the manifestation of being is given, as will e shown that the decay is the instance that characterizes the improper existence, but through the anguish it can choose to be at their own since it do not run away to be faced with their true condition. Finally, at the last moment of our thesis, the aim is to explain how the phenomenon of death and conscience allow the fundamental openness of Dasein to its own existence.

Tonalidades afetivas e poesia: uma analogia possível no Heidegger da viragem / Affective tone and poetry: an analogy possible in Heidegger's "turning point"

In relation to the first phase (the so-called "first Heidegger"), the search is returned strongly to the shades affective (Stimmungen) according to that were addressed in Being and time, especially in §. 29, And fundamental concepts of metaphysics: world, finitude, solitude. Such affective tones were presented as ontological structures responsible for making sure that the being-there is always in a state of "willing to ... ". The provision, "be willing to ... " since any affective tone, form, along with understanding and discourse, the existential that portray how the being-there is in the world. The second phase (the so-called "second Heidegger") the theme ruled was the poetry, designed understood how language originated. The poetry was differentiated from poem by it should not be confused with mere literary style. The poetry while language originating in (Dichtung) brings the loved for the first time in the open air to nominate him, while poem (Poiesie) is identified with the art of making poems. Affective Tone and poetry were discussed from a point of view ontological. The transition to the second phase was worked from what became known as the "turning point" (Kehre). To deal with the change we have made it clear that there is no contradiction between the phases, there is seen that Heidegger, without denying the turning point, for more than once stated that his philosophy dealing with a single issue. The turning point became evident in the 1930s and marked a repositioning of the question raised in Being and time. The project of fundamental ontology, this in Being and time, was carried out from three sub-projects: existential analytical, destruction of the history of metaphysics and hermeneutics of facticity . The existential analytical, from which were analyzed the shades, fell on the being-there and has reached its limit by the impossibility of justifying historical ontologies, hence there was talk of "failure" in Being and time . Put the themes in evidence, was the work of an analogy, possible by taking into account the ontological characteristics regarding the affective tones and the poetry.

The Heidegger Collection

Lin, Tung-Lung 08 1900 (has links)
The dissertation consists of two parts: (1) the essay and (2) the composition. The essay elucidates the composer's creative process of the orchestral works, The Heidegger Collection. The Heidegger Collection has five movements. The titles of each movement are derived from the key philosophical concepts from Heidegger's most significant writing, Being and Time: (1) State-of-Mind, (2) Idle-Talk, (3) Moment-of-Vision, (4) Dread, and (5) Being-towards-the-End. The essay discusses the meanings of the five concepts, and explains how I express my reaction to Heidegger's thinking through music composition. The essay also discusses the essential musical language of The Heidegger Collection, such as interval cycles, polyrhythmic patterns, algorithmic elements, portamento effects, chaos theory, and oriental influence.

Lyf [TAAL] Sport + Development

Van Wyk, Johannes Francois 27 November 2012 (has links)
This project is a response to the author's passion for sport and his curiosity about the architectural process that is necessary to understand and facilitate the inter-relation of body, mind and soul. The potential influence of physical exercise; its correlation with the metaphysical aspects of the individual and how its influence spills over into the larger context of society is investigated. This dissertation attempts to form an architectural response that is indigenous to the local population, the climate and the existing urban condition and ranges from a thorough understanding of the community to the effective contribution that architecture can offer, based on the concept of ‘Sport for Development’ programmes in South Africa. The primary objective of the architectural response is to amplify the potential of sport as a means to peace building and self-actualization within a society that suffers from the effects of crime and violence. Although popular culture believes in the positive potential of sport, Ramon Spaaij identifies factors and conditions that must be met if the positive value of sport is to be enjoyed. The dissertation incorporates these factors and conditions into a multipurpose 'Sport for Development' community complex. This complex aims to augment the existing sport for development programmes in South Africa and serve as a prototype for future sport for development centres that ultimately includes everyone in the process of reconciliation. / Dissertation (MArch(Prof))--University of Pretoria, 2012. / Architecture / unrestricted

Maltais, Christian 13 November 2021 (has links)

Ouellette, Régis 18 February 2021 (has links)

Being, eating and being eaten : deconstructing the ethical subject

Vrba, Minka 12 1900 (has links)
Thesis (MPhil (Philosophy))--University of Stellenbosch, 2006. / This study constitutes a conceptual analysis and critique of the notion of the subject, and the concomitant notion of responsibility, as it has developed through the philosophical history of the modern subject. The aim of this study is to present the reader with a critical notion of responsibility. This study seeks to divorce such a position from the traditional, normative view of the subject, as typified by the Cartesian position. Following Derrida, a deconstructive reading of the subject’s conceptual development since Descartes is presented. What emerges from this reading is that, despite various re-conceptualisations of the subject by philosophers as influential and diverse as Nietzsche, Heidegger and Levinas, their respective positions continue to affirm the subject as human. The position presented in this study challenges this notion of the subject as human, with the goal of opening-up and displacing the ethical frontier between human and non-human. It is argued that displacing this ethical frontier introduces complex responsibilities. These complex responsibilities resist the violence inherent to normative positions that typically exclude the non-human – particularly the animal – from the sphere of responsibility.

Hoedekie, Nelson G. U. (Nelson Gustaaf Urbain) 03 1900 (has links)
Thesis (MPhil)--University of Stellenbosch, 2003. / ENGLISH ABSTRACT: In this thesis, 'shadow' is investigated as an object of thought and (analogically connected to this) of perception. This dialectical process is structured through means of a series of experiments and Plato's allegory of the cave, which is interpreted as a process directed towards selfconciousness. This process is further explained through thinkers such as, Blumenberg, Heidegger, Levinas en Voegelin. The purpose of this study is to break with the self-evident way in which 'shadow' is 'normally' treated and to bring back about a sense of astonishment for it.
