We seek to bring us closer to a portion of the work in Ceciliana prose that, compared to other books, are less covered by literary criticism: Olhinhos de gato (autobiographical novel) and Giroflê, giroflá (short stories) . From the in-depth reading of selected works, following the comparative method, we understand (and appreciate) figurations of childhood, focusing on female children's characters: they are children who have a slope facing the poetic, the reverie (identified as characteristic of imagination child), immersed in solitude, with great proximity to death, beyond the intimate experience of transcendence. Watching the stylistic development of the text of the author (imagery, vocabulary choice, sound, theme, etc.) we believe we can still make an approximation that the corpus poetry and other prose of the author, perform a thematic perspective. From the "poetics of the senses" proposed by Gaston Bachelard in The poetic of reverie we’ll realize how is the experience of the world performed by the girls of the corpus of works, observing the oniric spaces where they are and will position us from the exploitation of space, compared to daydreaming, miniaturization, and the transcendence whose principle infinite. / Este trabalho tem como principal objetivo observar as figurações da infância – no caso, das meninas – e da solidão na prosa de natureza memorialística de Cecília Meireles. Buscamos nos aproximar de uma parcela da obra em prosa ceciliana que, face aos demais livros, são menos contemplados pela crítica literária: Olhinhos de gato (romance autobiográfico) e Giroflê, giroflá (contos). A partir da leitura aprofundada das obras selecionadas, seguindo o método comparativo, buscaremos compreender (e apreciar) as referidas figurações, com foco nas personagens infantis femininas: são crianças que apresentam uma inclinação voltada ao poético, ao devaneio (apontado como característica da imaginação infantil), imerso na solidão, com grande proximidade da morte, além da vivência íntima da transcendência. Observando o desenvolvimento estilístico do texto ceciliano (imagística, escolha vocabular, sonoridade, temática, etc.) acreditamos ser possível, ainda, efetuar uma aproximação desse corpus à obra poética e às demais em prosa da escritora, ainda que numa perspectiva temática. A partir da “poética dos sentidos” proposta por Gaston Bachelard em A poética do devaneio perceberemos como se dá a experiência do mundo realizada pelas meninas das obras do corpus, observaremos os espaços oníricos onde elas se encontram e nos posicionaremos, a partir da exploração do espaço, frente a devaneios, sejam os de miniaturização, sejam os de transcendência que têm como princípio o infinito.

The correlate definition of theoritical basis considers preliminarily the questions of selection of poetic material which is the object of the study and the disposition of the basic fields in the abstract, temporal, spatial, material, intellectual, affective and volitive relations in the instauration of perspectives which allow the understanding of the registered themes. The reading searches a deep understanding of her vision of poetry-thus, of her poetics and her conception of man, society, world, of bang, expressed by rhythm of verses and image of poems. The thesis is framed in a general introduction, in chapters about the subject seen its division in four elements, the essencial relations in terms of time and space and the intellect, as formation of possibilities of indagations and comunications.

O tema do sonho é frequente na Literatura e, historicamente, tem sido motivo de diversas interpretações filosóficas, científicas e culturais, especialmente no âmbito das religiões. Na América do Sul, durante o século XX, a temática do sonho foi utilizada pelos escritores Cecília Meireles e Jorge Luis Borges em vários de seus textos, de maneira recorrente. A partir da perspectiva dos estudos literários comparados, este trabalho aborda a temática do sonho no universo literário, mas também em outras áreas do conhecimento, utilizando as várias percepções sobre o tema como subsídio para a análise das obras de ambos os escritores sul-americanos, especialmente, no que se refere à oposição sonho e realidade. / The dream is something whose explanation is not fully understood. The theme of the dream is recurrent in literature and, historically, has been the subject for various philosophical, scientific and cultural interpretations, especially in the scope of the religions. In South America during the twentieth century, the theme of the dream was used by writers Cecília Meireles and Jorge Luis Borges in several of their texts. From the perspective of comparative literary studies, this work approaches the theme of the dream in the literary universe, but also in other areas of knowledge, using the various perceptions about the theme as subsidy for the analysis of the works of both South American writers, especially, as regards opposition dreams and reality.

Cecília Meireles possui uma trajetória de atuação social riquíssima, figurando como poetisa, educadora, folclorista, cronista na grande imprensa, crítica literária e até mesmo tradutora de livros estrangeiros. Envolveu-se com o movimento de renovação educacional dos anos 1920 e 1930, sendo uma das signatárias do Manifesto dos Pioneiros da Educação Nova (1932). Nos três primeiros anos da década de 1930, dirigiu a Página de Educação no jornal Diário de Notícias, através da qual expressava e difundia os ideais da Escola Nova para o público em geral. Também esteve envolvida, já no final da década de 1940, com o Movimento Folclórico brasileiro (1947-1967), participando ativamente de suas atividades nacionais e regionais. Sua atuação como educadora é mais conhecida e estudada, ao contrário de seu lado folclorista, que recebeu pouca atenção da bibliografia especializada. Será este o foco deste estudo, que procurará entender suas diferentes formas de atuação social como um projeto único de nação. / The aims of this research is to analyze the contributions of Cecília Benevides de Carvalho Meireles (1901-1964) to brazilian education and folklore discussions, specifically the relationship established by her between these two subjects. Cecilia Meireles has a rich background of social acting as a poet, educator, folklorist, chronicler in the mainstream newspapers, literary critic and even a translator of foreign books. She engaged in the educational reform movement in the 1920s and 1930s as one of the signatories of the Manifesto dos Pioneiros da Educação Nova (1932). In the first three years of 1930s, she directed Página de Educação in the newspaper Diário de Notícias, in which she expressed and spread the ideals of the New School to the general public. By the late of 1940s she was also engaged in the Brazilian Folkloric Movement (1947-1967), actively participating in their national and regional activities. Her performance as an educator is more known and studied, unlike the folklorist side, which received little attention from specialized literature. This will be the focus of this study, which will seek to understand different forms of social action as a single national project.

Objetiva, sobretudo, interpretar alguns poemas e quadras e uma biografia com especial interesse no pensar poetizante acerca de Deus à luz da dialogicidade de textos agostinianos, de Espinosa, Heidegger, Bachelard e Teilhard de Chardin. Também, aborda a diáspora intelectual do filósofo, as suas realizações pedagógicas e as contribuições culturais para os povos de língua portuguesa. A pesquisa aponta as orientações político-sociais de Agostinho direcionadas para a instauração do Reino do Espírito Santo. Ademais, evidencia a cristalização do mito de D. Sebastião no panorama literário e artístico brasileiro em um poema de Cecília Meireles e outro de Caetano Veloso para que se realizem analogias com o pensador luso-brasileiro. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This research presents the teacher "Agostinho da Silva" as one of the most extraordinary personalities of the 20th century who composed the Brazilian/Portuguese scene. The objective of this study is the interpretation of poems and show a biography about God according to some authors such as Agostinho, Espinosa, Heidegger, Bachelard and Teilhard de Chardin. It also talks about Agostinho's intellectual and philosophical point of view and his pedagogical and cultural contribution to the Portuguese Language. The research brings some social and political orientations giving directions to the instauration of the Spirit Saint Kindgom. Besides this, the study shows D. Sebastião's myth in the Brazilian literary panoramic view in a poem of Cecília Meireles and Caetano Veloso, what gives the possibilities to make analogies with the Brazilian/Portuguese author.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This study investigates the imaginary in Metal rosicler by Cecilia Meireles, one of her last books which was published in 1960. The aim is to analyze the relation of this book and the structures of alchemy imaginary. As well as the spiritual alchemists searched for the transmutation of insignificant metal in order to make it possible for men to reach the enlightenment, in Metal rosicler there is the attempt to go through an ontological search by linking the poetic to the alchemy symbolism, then as it happens in the alchemy process, it reveals itself in the rosicler (the color of a rose). Started by poetry, the search indicates the transmutation of the black stone- the raw rosicler metal- revealing from the depth a hidden and sublime essence in alchemy rosicler. Such essence is the meaningful reason for the search because it represents the desirable entirety in coincidentia oppositorum, and also the integration of the opposites of androgeny. Thus, the transformation may only be completed by performing the phases and the steps in the alchemy ritual: mortification in the nigredo, the abstract ideality in the albedo leading to the whole life of red color in the rubedo. All the symbolism untwines itself before the mitocriticism of poems which is based on contributions of critique about imaginary and alchemy, such as: the imaginary anthropology, according to Gilbert Durant`s work; phenomenology of poetic, as stated by Carl Gustav Jung studies. The theoretical instrument purposed by Durand e Bachelard concerns the imagination s dynamic creation and the strength of myths in peoples representative productions throughout the years. Imaginary philosophy of alchemy is based on Jung s deep psychology perspective which considers the relation between the alchemy symbolism and the process of individualization of human being in the search of entirety of himself. Mitocriticism work reveals the constellation of images which is a response for the alchemy poetic of the book, how the symbols imbricate the imperishable into ephemeral; the nocturnal images which join life and death; images of the air, the water, and the land which brings in the transcendence; dissolution in the nigredo and molding the androgynous, besides the mithemes of Hermes-Mercury in the alchemy become, the symbols of mortification of black stone and the sublimination of rosicler in the rubedo. Therefore, such journey reveals, in poems, the poetic melting pot of transmutation where the lyrical itself searches the spiritual entirety in the extraction of rosicler. / Este estudo explora o imaginário de Cecília Meireles em Metal rosicler, sua penúltima publicação em vida, no ano de 1960. O objetivo é investigar o liame da obra com as estruturas do imaginário alquímico. Assim como os alquimistas espirituais buscavam a transmutação dos metais vis para que o homem alcançasse a iluminação, em Metal rosicler, o eu-lírico empreende uma busca ontológica, entrelaçando o poético ao simbolismo alquímico, a fim de obter, tal como no processo da alquimia, o desvelamento do si mesmo, que se daria no rosicler. Encetada pela poesia, essa busca emblematiza a transmutação da pedra negra o metal rosicler bruto desentranhando, ao final, a essência oculta e sublimada do rosicler. Tal essência fundamenta o sentido da busca, pois ela representa a desejada totalidade na coincidentia oppositorum, ou, ainda, a integração dos opostos na androginia. Nesse sentido, para efetivar a transformação cumprem-se as etapas do ritual alquímico: a mortificação na nigredo, a idealidade abstrata na albedo culminando na vida plena do vermelho na rubedo. Todo esse simbolismo desenreda-se mediante a mitocrítica dos poemas que se funda nos aportes da crítica do imaginário e da alquimia, quais sejam: a antropologia do imaginário, segundo os trabalhos de Gilbert Durand; a fenomenologia do poético, consoante as pesquisas de Gaston Bachelard, e a filosofia da alquimia, conforme os apontamentos de Carl Gustav Jung. O instrumental teórico proposto por Durand e Bachelard referenda o dinamismo criador da imaginação e a força diretiva dos mitos nas produções representativas da cultura de todos os tempos. Por sua vez, a filosofia imaginária da alquimia apóia-se na psicologia profunda de Jung que relaciona o simbolismo alquímico ao processo de individuação do ser em busca da totalidade no si mesmo. No pormenor, o trabalho mitocrítico revela uma constelação de imagens que responde pela poética alquímica do livro, como os símbolos que imbricam o imperecível no efêmero; as imagens noturnas que articulam a vida e a morte; as imagens do ar, da água e da terra que instalam a transcendência, a dissolução na nigredo e a modelagem do andrógino; além dos mitemas de Hermes-Mercúrio no devir alquímico, os símbolos da mortificação da pedra negra e da sublimação do rosicler na rubedo. The work of the poetic corpus, still uses to support the writer Complete Poetry, the critical study conducted by Amy Zagury, "Cecília Meireles: news biographical, critical study, anthology, literature, discography, the score," and in the testimony of letters, interviews, books and chronic prefaciados as princiapal refuge. Using the methods descriptive, analytical, interpretive-comparison, the search is divided into five stages, where: "Initial considerations", "The twentieth century", "Songs - named Freedom," "The Bilbioteca way" and, finally, as a conclusion, "The uniqueness of mystical corner." / A dissertação analisa a obra Cânticos, de Cecilia Meireles, destacando o contexto histórico-cultural, ideológico e artístico do século XX, a partir do estreito relacionamento da literatura produzida pelo poeta com o misticismo das filosofias do Oriente, em específico, o Budismo, com a poesia mística do poeta indiano Rabindranath Tagore e os discursos pacifistas de Mahatma Gandhi e Vinoba Bhave. O trabalho parte do corpus poético, utiliza ainda como apoio a Poesia Completa da escritora, o estudo crítico realizado por Eliane Zagury, em "Cecília Meireles: notícia biográfica, estudo crítico, antologia, bibliografia, discografia, partitura", e os depoimentos constantes de cartas, entrevistas, livros prefaciados e crônicas como amparo princiapal. To that end, the poet’s “A poesia de Cecília Meireles”, “Miguel Torga, os homens e a terra”, and “Luís de Camões: ensombramento e descobrimento” are the bases upon which this dissertation will be presented, as a way of showing how Andresen interpreted certain poets’ poetry and why she read it. At the same time, I will examine the essay as a specific production and particularly Andresen’s work in the field as a reflective and creative setting for lyricism itself. Furthermore, I aim to look into the echo of Andresen’s voice among the poets she addresses, i.e., to analyze how some of the subjects she cherishes within other authors’ oeuvre can be noticed in her own poetics
