1	Atvirų elektroninių išteklių kūrimo ir panaudojimo skatinimas akademinėje institucijoje / Promotion of the development and use of Open Educational Resources in academic institution Stankevičiūtė, Odeta 02 September 2011 (has links) Kauno kolegijoje yra patvirtinta ir vykdoma nauja e. mokymosi plėtros programa 2009-2013m. Pagal ją Kauno kolegija orientuojasi į atvirą e. mokymąsi, todėl atviras elektroninių išteklių kūrimas, panaudojimas bei talpinimas yra vienas iš pagrindinių šios programos tikslų. Taigi šiame darbe pateikiama: informacija apie atvirus elektroninius išteklius, jų nauda tiek studentui, tiek dėstytojui, tiek institucijai, atvirų elektroninių išteklių kūrimo ir panaudojimo proceso Kauno kolegijoje analizė, atvirų elektroninių išteklių talpinimo programinių įrankių integravimo projektas, sumodeliuotas UML kalba, vartotojo instrukcija. Parengus šį darbą paaiškėjo, kad minėtų programinių įrankių integravimas yra reikalingas ir kad tai tikrai skatintų vartotojus kurti, talpinti bei naudoti atvirus elektroninius išteklius, taip pat buvo surengti mokymai maždaug šimtui vartotojų, ir buvo parengta dalis dokumentų, reglamentuojančių atvirų elektroninių išteklių talpinimo veiklas bei institucinė licencinė sutartis, skirta autorių teisėms apsaugoti. / Kauno kolegija (Kaunas University of Applied Sciences) has adopted and implemented e-Learning Development Program for 2009-2013. One of the key components of the program is orientation to the open e-Learning, so the main tasks are the promotion of the development and use of open educational resources and storage of such resources. Thus, the aim of this work is to promote the development and use of open educational resources by preparing the integration project of Open Journal system, Open Conference System and DSpace systems, by organizing the training courses for users, also by preparing the documents regulating the activities of the hosting of open educational resources. In this document are presented: the information about open educational resources, their advantage for all – student, lecturer and institution, the analysis of the situation of the development and use of open educational resources in Kauno kolegija (Kaunas University of Applied Science), the project of integration of Open Journal System, Open Conference System and DSpace systems, modeled using UML language, and also a short user manual. After the completion of this work revealed that such integration project of the above-mentioned systems was necessary and it would really promote users to develop, load and use open educational resources, also there were organized training courses for about one hundred users, alike there were prepared a part of the documents regulating the activities of hosting open... 4	Webový systém pro správu elektronických dokumentů / Modification of web system for electronic document management Dufka, Zbyněk January 2015 (has links) The aim of this diploma thesis is to provide a systematic study of Open Journal System, which is designed for electronic research papers publishing. Due to the nature of information published in this system, there is an elaborate approval process controlled by the editor. The main objective of this thesis is the realization of a system module, which would, at the end of the approval process, implement a stamp incorporating metadata of the source magazine to individual electronic documents. The thesis gives insight into the development of the structure of the Open Journal System and, briefly, describes the possibility of implementing this system. Another part of the work focuses on the sub-steps of the stamping module which was implemented into the system. This module allows editors to stamp individual electronic PDF documents that are published within the magazine and its various volumes. The module is designed to simplify the editing process of the journal with no prolongation or any other additional time required. Among other things, the reader learns how it is possible to create a block module, which can be used in the sidebar to display any system information. The work, also, previews the possibility to customize the user interface. Each implemented part contains solution proposals and, further, the implementation method and technical description is described in more detail. For better understanding and integrity of the work, stretches of the given code are also included, this might serve as an inspiration for users‘ modifications of the system.
5	Open Source in Higher Education: A Situational Analysis of the Open Journal Systems Software Project Quint-Rapoport, Mia 01 March 2011 (has links) This research study looks at digital academic space, which is defined here as web-based digitally mediated artifacts produced by universities and their members. Open source software projects and the Open Access movement play large roles within digital academic space, not only because of their strong historical academic roots, but also because these projects are growing in prevalence in many universities. Framed by theories from the field of higher education and media studies, this research study is an analysis of the dynamics and effects of one open source software project that produces Open Access electronic journals. The software system, called the Open Journal Systems (OJS), originally developed by an education professor from a Canadian university, has been adopted by thousands of universities world- wide to publish electronic peer reviewed academic journals. OJS users distributed at universities throughout the world have contributed software code back to the system, by for example, creating translation modules enabling users to publish journals in a range of languages thus adding an interesting global dimension to the project.
