Rogers. It is a project that offers intensive attention to children and teenagers from 8 to 12 years old who show complex problems of emotional or cognitive aspect and/or are on a social risk situation, grouping psychosocial manner practices. The research is characterized as qualitative, of phenomenological nature and exploratory character, been held in three phases: at first, the researcher participated of some week reunions of the staff responsible for Ciranda; after that, it was done an meeting in a inside-class context with members of one of the training supervision groups which was involved with the attendances; finally, individual interviews with the same trainees, with the supervisor professor and also with one of the psychologists responsible for the Psychological Service in which this project is inserted were made. In the sequence, eight narratives about the experience the researcher went through in each one of these situations were composed, focusing to learn the meanings of this protagonists experience based on theoretical conceptions and Person Centered Approach practice. Four trainees, students about to graduate on Psychology Faculty, besides the supervisor professor and the psychologist responsible for that service participated of the research; all them became characters of the scheme built by the researcher. The narrative construction was specially productive, because it helped to preserve the intersubjective experience based on a phenomenological attitude by the researcher, which allowed grouping of the different meetings with a gap to new order, thanks to the complexity of the phenomena to be conceived. This research emerges the originality of Rogers proposal as a psychological approach to human relations, as the members were looking for the redemption of the psychological potential of interpersonal relations provided to Ciranda clients, showing sensibility and ethical attitude which drive them to valorize therapeutic attitudes that preserved the actualizing tendency and promoted retaking of growing and grouping psychological process. It was also possible to make clear how the double mission held by a Psychological Service, been composed inside a learning field for future psychologists and, at the same time, offering clinical frame, provided the Ciranda project responsible ones a defying experience, owing them the need for opening to daily interventions and staff reunion revealed phenomena comprehension.

Pastorale behoeftes en ervarings van Afrikaanssprekende gelowiges binne die Gereformeerde tradisie wat betrokke raak by kontemplatiewe spiritualiteit / The pastoral needs and experiences of Afrikaans speaking believers in the Reformed tradition involved in contemplative spirituality

Van der Merwe, Hester Maria, M.Th. 11 1900 (has links)
Text in Afrikaans / In this qualitative research study the landscape of the age-old tradition of contemplative spirituality within the context of the reformed tradition was investigated. An empirical study was done to determine the pastoral needs and experiences of Afrikaans speaking believers from the reformed tradition, involved in contemplative spirituality. Questionnaires and qualitative interviews were used for this purpose. The research path has been further shaped by social construction theory as a postmodern approach. This study was born out of my own discovery of the healing qualities of contemplative spirituality and secondly due to the growing demand among Afrikaans speaking reformed believers for exposure to the disciplines of contemplative spirituality. Little research is available on this topic and is it the hope of this research to open new conversations about contemplative spirituality in the Afrikaans reformed tradition.

Stroe, Ioana Ruxandra 10 1900 (has links)
When integrating clinical practice settings, newly graduated nurses may experience transition shock (Duchscher & Windey, 2018; Wakefield, 2018). This period of adjustment to a new professional role includes several challenges and can have a psychological impact on the nurse. These factors will come to influence the nurse's lived experience and the meaning attributed to this phenomenon. Integration will be especially difficult in a complex and unique environment such as a secure hospital specializing in forensic psychiatry. The purpose of this research is to explore the lived experience of beginner nurses in a secure forensic psychiatric hospital. The research questions to be explored are related to the facilitating and constraining factors encountered during their journey, their role as a nurse in this subspecialty, and their needs for guidance and support as beginners. In fact, various training and orientation programs are developed to help nurses through this integration period, but despite this, difficulties persist which can impact the lived experience (Tingleff & Gildberg, 2014). The theoretical frame of reference that guided and structured this research is “From Novice to Expert” by Patricia Benner (1982), and the advanced beginner nurse stage is the stage that corresponds to newly graduated nurses. A qualitative design with an interpretative phenomenological approach (Benner, 1994) was used. Five nurses (n=5) participated in a semi-structured individual interview lasting thirty to sixty minutes to discuss their experience in the field of study that was audio recorded. The qualitative data analysis was performed in an interpretive and iterative manner. From this analysis emerged three main categories, and ten subcategories. The three main categories are: 1) the realities of the clinical setting, then 2) the nurse at the heart of forensic psychiatric care, and finally 3) the importance of sustained and personalized support. The results obtained allow a better understanding of the phenomenon studied. Several recommendations were issued to better support new nurses during their career, more specifically concerning their training needs in order to be better prepared to integrate their role in the environment.

Nya chefers utveckling : en studie om hur nya chefer hanterar sina ledarroller / New managers’ development : A study about how new managers handle their leaderships roles

Rydberg, William January 2022 (has links)
The understanding of the effects of learning and the psychosocial work environment through the individual herself and the environment was important to new manager´s management of their leadership roles. The purpose of this study was to contribute knowledge with how the first-lines’ new managers handled their leadership roles. The approach in this study was based on a phenomenological and qualitative case study. The data collection consisted of semi-structured interviews. Performance of analysis of data was based on an interpretive phenomenological analysis method. The conclusion showed that the development of new managers is categorized as strategies and circumstances. Strategies were new managers’ internal conditions and those are to becoming a manager, to take on the leadership role and to grow in the leadership role. The circumstances constituted new managers’ external conditions and those are to work as a manager in the first-line and to fulfill the leadership role. The conclusion also showed that the quantity of work, the use of several computer systems, time, individual herself, relationships at work, the individual’s development, content of work, and the complex organization affect new managers’ development in their leadership roles.
