Marcas da oralidade nas manchetes do jornal popular Meia Hora de Notícias / Marks of orality in the headlines of the popular newspaper Meia Hora de Notícias

Mayara Suellen de Sousa 29 April 2015 (has links)
This paper aims to present research results about the marks of orality in written texts, specifically in newspapers considered \"popular\" and in this dissertation in newspaper headlines Meia Hora de Notícias. The tabloids have greater interest in the dissemination of news and approach to the reading public. The importance of this work is given by the dynamism of language and the intense exchange between the oral and the written, this change makes the journalistic language a mix between formal and informal as a way to involve the largest possible number of readers. Thus, we make use of theoretical concepts that have related to language issues, language, speech and orality: Marcuschi (1993, 1995, 2004 and 2007), Koch and Oesterreicher (1985, 2007), Charaudeau (2007, 2008), Koch (1997, 2008), Ong (1998), Preti (1983, 2004), Dias (1996), Urbano (1998, 2000, 2006 and 2011), Favero (2009). Our specific objectives are: to outline the particularities of the popular journalism language, verify the relationship between spoken and written language, analyze the marks of orality present in the newspaper Meia Hora de Notícias based on the discursive and linguistic levels and understand such brands as orality approximation strategies the reader. Our hypothesis is that orality simulation is a popular journalism strategy, so the presence of orality of occurrences in the headlines. We analyzed 365 newspaper covers and opted for a more detailed analysis of 30 headlines. We focus on the discursive field, which includes the narrative, the cultured language x popular language, fixed formulas, the triadic phrases and the involvement of the narrator in the journal news. In the linguistic field, highlight the phonetic, lexical and morphological aspects in order to understand how to configure the orality of resources used by Meia Hora de Notícias.

Bordignon, Maria Eugênia Zanchet January 2017 (has links)
From the perspective of the French Discourse Analysis founded by Michel Pêcheux, one of the essential aspects of language is its ideological materiality. Ideology, for this reason, is embodied in discourse. Every enunciative act practiced brings with it a complex whole of effects of senses, memories, contexts and subjects that respond by the conditions in which each one of them was produced. Examining the ways in which ideology manifests itself in discourses, thus, is a fundamental stage for an understanding of how sense is constituted in discourses. The research object of the present study are the discourses of students of popular education - more precisely, of a PVP. It is a qualitative research that incorporated the technique of data generation with focus group through which a dialogue was established with the students of the PVP course who were interlocutors of the research. The main objective was an analysis about the effects of the sense of autonomy manifested in the discourses of these subjects in relation to themes that touch on relations of class, gender and ethnicity. In the search for an understanding of the effects of senses of autonomy identified in the students discourses, the theoretical and methodological apparatus of the Pecheuxtian Discourse Analysis was moved - from its founding conceptions to its toolbox, condition of operation of the AD as an intermission discipline. The Freirean conception of autonomy was configured as the touchstone of the interpretative gesture undertaken as its senses reverberated in the testimonies cut out for analysis. In the speeches analyzed, it was possible to recognize vestiges of identified struggle with certain discursive-ideological positions, which allows to realize that the principles of popular education in which the actions carried out in the PVP course investigated are affected, in a certain aspect, the ways of which the research interlocutor students mean themselves.

Conjunto IAPI Vila Guiomar - Santo André - SP: projeto e história / Conjunto IAPI Vila Guiomar - Santo André - SP: project and history

Pessolato, Cintia 31 January 2008 (has links)
The objective of this work is to contribute for the study of the state intervention in the subject of housing for workers in Brazil starting from the decade of 1930, through the research on one of the most important projects of that time: Conjunto IAPI Vila Guiomar, built starting from 1939 in the municipal district of Santo André - S.P. This work represents an important paper in the history of the Brazilian popular housing for having constituted one of the first state attempts of construction of homes in mass, using the resources of the Social Insurances and Welfare Institutes and the concepts of the modern architecture. In spite of a great documental gap about the subject, the result was a work that gathers the systemization and analysis of data, until then, dispersed in files, reports and other sources, organized in chronological order. The research is divided in four periods that go up the current days and in which political, economical, social and technical aspects of each time are approached as a form of creating a context for the study of the work.

Politics of the people in Glasgow and the west of Scotland, 1707-c.1785

Kuboyama, Hisashi January 2012 (has links)
This thesis analyses the political development and the growth of popular political awareness in Glasgow and the west of Scotland from the Union with England of 1707 to the burgh reform movement in the mid-1780s, examining political disputes among the urban elite as well as the activities, arguments, and ideology of ordinary people. Through the rapid growth of Atlantic trade and manufacturing industries, Glasgow and the west of Scotland in this period experienced social and economic changes which had significant implications for the ways that political control was contested and political opinions were expressed. The region also possessed a distinctive tradition of orthodox presbyterianism and loyal support for the Revolution Settlement and the Hanoverian Succession, both of which underpinned the growth of popular political awareness in the mid- and later eighteenth century. By taking these social and economic changes as well as traditional religious and political characteristics of the region into account, this thesis establishes a dynamic picture of eighteenth-century Scottish politics which has in the past been overshadowed by an image of its stability. Chapter One outlines the conditions, structure, and operation of urban and popular politics in eighteenth-century Glasgow. Chapters Two and Three demonstrate the existence of challenges to the political management by the great landowners and point out the popular dimension of these struggles. Chapter Four analyses how and why popular political consciousness developed in the age of the American Revolution, which led to the emergence of the burgh reform movement. Chapter Five examines popular disturbances, revealing the agency and vibrancy of the politics of the people. Chapter Six explores popular political ideology, focusing on the widespread appreciation of the British constitution and a distinctive Scottishness in the concept of liberty. This thesis concludes by asserting the importance of understanding politics in its broadest sense and also of incorporating the popular element as an integral part of any understanding of eighteenth-century Scottish politics.
